BEST SANDWICHES we’ve ever had!!! The Ike’s Ruben with everything on it was insane. Every bite bursted with flavor-the sauce they use is phenomenal - we also tried the Hunter Pence. Excellent as well. Jay helped us and he was the sweetest guy. Super rad + fellow NY’er! Try the voodoo chips too! 10 out of 10!

OBVIOUSLY I think this place is the best in the City. Get the Ike-uletta or a Hot Sausage. These are the best "po boys" in the City (even though Ike would never call them "po boys"). Try the Ike's Apothecary Elixirs! This is also the finest place for Non-alcoholic beverages. UPDATE: full liquor license now! this place rules. so refreshing to have a variety of sandwiches that arent just traditional poboys. special coffee drinks are sooo goood, the mushroom cacao matcha thing warmed my soul in the snow storm yesterday. everyones really nice too. brought my friend who works at turkey & the wolf who loves sandwiches more than most people and he is a big fan. 💗

As a vegetarian, I did not expect sooo many options!? I went with the KeeN-OLA, vegan fried chicken…and the honey mustard was so flavorful and everything was super fresh! Ike’s is such a perfect spot for sandwich enthusiasts 💕 exclusively sells Zapp’s is a plus ⚜️

Y'all the gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options here are as good as it gets. This is possibly the best gluten free sandwich I've ever had in my life. Finding good gluten free options in this city is EXCEEDINGLY difficult. This place is a diamond in the rough. If you know anyone with dietary restrictions, look no further. They go above and beyond to not only accommodate or modify, but have gone out of their way to craft recipes with the aforementioned folks in mind.

I'm elated that we finally have a sandwich spot that isn't poboys in the Bywater and Marigny. Normally, for a sandwich of this quality, you have to drive to Francolini's or Stein's (which I love so much) which isn't the worst drive, but this place is conveniently located near Frenchman and, since the restaurant is located in a residential area, the parking is pretty great. Ike is a lovely person as is his staff. They remembered my name after my first visit and asked me for my genuine opinions of what I ordered. It's refreshing to see a business interested in its customers that way, not just resting on laurels and a recognizable name, as is so often the case in New Orleans. I will be back many many times. I would also like to mention that their bread is made in house and is AMAZING! Welcome to the neighborhood!

We’ve been to the location in Houston and seeing there’s one so close to home we had to try it. The food is delicious as always. The vegetarian options are amazing. We even met The owner, it was a great experience and will definitely be back!

I'm not usually big on going to chains when I'm at home, but I'll have to make an exception for this one. Food was awesome and had a lot of unique flavor. Ambiance was great and fits the city. Drinks were unique and the service was great. I'll be back here for sure

I keep eating here, because it is very satisfying and good. they had football on when I came in one time, but I asked them to change it and they were super nice and professional about it. i like the staff here and all the fun options. great drinks too!!

The place has a real local hole in the wall feel to it. I ordered the muffaletta and it was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I would have made love to it if I could. I wish they had one of these where I live.

We are in town from Oklahoma and was looking for a good place to eat after a tour of downtown. Some bystanders recommended Ike’s and I think it was the best sandwich we have ever ate. From the very first bite we knew we were about to have an amazing dinner. The service of him and his staff was amazing. They took the time to get to know you and discuss the menu and their drinks. It was a great atmosphere and the next time we are in New Orleans we will definitely come back. You have to try this place!

An excellent place to grab a massive sandwich with just about anything you can imagine in between the bread. I have not had the same thing twice from the menu and everything has been absolutely phenomenal. The staff are always engaging and polite with Haley and Lauren in particular making me feel welcome while visiting New Orleans. If you're in town, you should reward yourself and stop by.

I live in the neighborhood and I am so happy that Ike’s moved in! Such delicious and creative sandwich combinations - there’s nothing like it anywhere in the city. The coffee is amazing as well! I’ve been wanting to be healthier and try more herbal ingredients in my coffee - the Magic Mushroom latte is fantastic! The donuts are seriously the best I’ve ever had in this city as well!!! I’m looking forward to exploring everything Ike’s has to offer. Would recommend!

Highly recommend. The sandwiches here are all excellent. The Marshawn Lynch is one of my favorites. The wait staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is funky but warm. Ike even came to our table to ask how we enjoyed the food. Try the warm donuts for a decadent desert.

We live in the neighborhood and tried Ike's for the first time this week. Wow! I would HIGHLY recommend trying the food there. Everything tasted so fresh and the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff there also takes the time to get to know their customers. It was so good that we went back two nights later. I was extremely impressed with their extensive menu options. Came in late on a Friday night to try Ike’s out for the first time. They had a super extensive sandwich menu, impressive coffee/health drink menu, fresh donuts and hand dipped Rice Krispies. Also for the vegetarians out there they had some really yummy looking veggie friendly options. Ike himself helped us out and was really chill and helpful. I ordered the Mike Cain, and some sides and my partner got one of the melting seltzers. It was all really good and we’ll definitely be back. The bread was super fresh and had this awesome buttery crunch. We asked if they had wifi to work or have a lunch meeting there and he said yes please come hang out. Nice to have a good sandwich and coffee joint in walking distance to home.

Really enjoyed the Meatless Mike sandwich — it was absolutely delicious and very satisfying. The manager, Jack, was fantastic and shared some great tips; such a friendly and helpful guy. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Best sandwiches I've ever had, and I'm a picky bastard when it comes to food Their sauce game is on point, so damn good! 1 sandwich can be two meals (very big and packed with ingredients), with really good sandwiches available at 15 bucks. (Not all at 15, but the ones that are, are really good) The owner is really nice, and the vibe is awesome

What a corner gem! There are a lot of really unique and delicious non alcoholic beverages. I was indecisive and Ike customized a drink just for me based off of a couple questions he asked. So tasty and uplifting. My husband had a beer, there is an assortment of some alcoholic beverages too. So it’s perfect no matter what kind of mood you’re in. I highly recommend Ike’s.

10 stars across the board!!! It started with our server, Hayley, who was so kind and knowledgeable. She recommended the BEST sandwiches after listening to what my fiancé and I liked. I had the Menagè a Trois and Alan had the Rueben (I don't remember the "offical" name). Both were absolutely delicious and the BREAD, of all things, was incredible. As locals and artists in New Orleans we will absolutely be back. Not just for the food, but also the people. Both, to us, are equally as important. Thank you again Hayley!!!

Simply the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The bread is unique and distinct, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich is moistened with a delicious sauce that brings all the flavors together perfectly.

My new very favorite place in the Marigny Triangle for a casual bite to eat. The sandwiches were OMG scrumptious, and the service was really great. Friendly, helpful, and responsive to my request for turning down the music a notch. Will return when I'm back in New Orleans again.

I feel robbed by the fact I've lived here for 2 years and only cottoned on to Ike's in the past few months. These sandwiches are incredible. I don't think there's a bad thing on the menu. And if you're gluten-free, you're in for the best sandwich of your life. The bread is unrivalled. The portions are generous. And the staff are a joy. Ike himself, the Sandwich Sommelier, as my partner has dubbed him, is often around and he's a delight to chat with. It's a funky, delicious sandwich spot. Go get some sandwiches (I recommend the Ménage à Trois or the Galileo), don't skip the peperoncini, and enjoy.

Great veggie/vegan options here! There’s so much to try on the menu i’ll have to keep coming back. Staff is extremely helpful and kind for our first visit. Meatless Mike was 10/10 and big enough to take the second half home. Seasoned fries were great paired with the dirty sauce. Ike and their GM served us personally, experience couldn’t be any better.

I work at an airport in Alabama and some passengers aboard a plane had catered sandwiches from this location and gave away some of their extras. That was absolutely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my 32 years despite it not being warm anymore, and the avocado was still green and fresh. The bread was outstanding. 100% I will be stopping in to eat when I travel to New Orleans next. Love you guys

Absolutely loved this place. Visiting Nola my partner and I walked by and I thought it looked good- not realizing it’s a chain. I LOVED It - Ike was there spitting his knowledge about the elixir drinks (we were hungover). The drinks were pricey but…. I got the Matt Cain and it was so unique compared to other sandwich shops- the garlic - y flavor and crispy crusted bread. Would recommend!!!

An almost endless assortment of sandwiches and sides for all dietary tastes (normal, vegetarian, vegan) in addition to some drinks that you wouldn't expect to find in a mainstream establishment. I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches but this place was the best I've had in New Orleans (definitely better than Parkway) and the owner was a super cool and friendly guy. We will definitely be coming back and you won't be disappointed if you give this place a try.

I love Ike's; we've been going since they opened. The sandwiches hit the spot every time, specifically the Menage A Trois. Its one of the best sub sandwiches I've ever had, if I could eat it everyday, I would.

Beautiful space with a nice relaxed vibe. Loud enough for kids to not be obnoxious (my kids) qnd the sandwiches were delicious and filling (Important) The menu is incredibly packed with every sandwich combo you could think of, the drinks are an intricate combo of mushroom and supplements, I would note, also an awesome space to bring your non Alcoholic friends for many drink options. Overall very pleased and I will be back, the prices were reasonable as well.

Got recommended here by the front desk person at our hostel. Service was fast informative and friendly, food came fast and correct. You can tell this place really respects their ingredients; Ike’s Rueben came on very fresh high quality bread and generous meat portion. It had the great balance of flavor that only comes from having a true passion for the art of sandwiches. The coffee was surprisingly artisan, they made too much on accident and gave us the rest for free (incredible) and made sure we knew there were donuts to be had before we left (lifesaving). This place is a must stop if you love sandwiches or want to remember what a r e a l restaurant looks like.

Sweet potato fries were phenomenal and all 6 vegan sandwiches my group tried were amazing even hours later :) Donuts and fancy health drinks were all wonderful. Ike himself was there and was very nice, waited on us himself.

Fell in love with this place the first time I went and didn’t even wait a whole week to come back ! The service is fast and Joanie in particular is absolutely wonderful and gave me the BEST recommendation to eat. Ike’s is new to our neighborhood but a welcome addition. These are the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. My favorite is the Terrell Davis. There’s a huge selection of all types of sandwiches, but they will also customize a sandwich for you. And, the donuts are made hot and fresh to order. So delicious!!! I’ve eaten in, and service is quick, but ordering online for takeout is also super easy. Staff is very nice and helpful.

I stopped in for lunch and had the muffalata on their own bread. It wasn't busy and the service was courteous and fast. The sandwich was huge! And delicious. I could only eat half and I shared the other half with my wife the next day. And it was still delicious! Look no further than Ike's Love and Sandwiches if you're in Nola and want a great sandwich.

I love you. Holy shit best sando ever. I've heard about ikes ONLY through jim rome. I assumed they were only in California where his radio show is based. However, I was shocked and pleased to find one locally in Nola. So, we finally got a chance to try them today. My wife and I both got the Marshawn Lynch and substituted the sauce from the madison bumgardner. It was beyond amazing. The bread is incredible! The chicken was moist and delicious. Why would anybody choose subway over this??? Our waiter was alone but handled it like a boss. We will 100 percent return to gain more weight. Thanks alot!

Every Ike's is amazing but this is the best I've been to (out of like 6 locations at this point!). Full service, huge drink menu (including St George gin aaahh my favorite!!), sandwiches that cannot be rivaled. Trust and believe I will be back many many times

Came in today for the Super Bowl Collab with NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk Cajun Sandwich and David Meltzer More Than Enough Sandwich launch. The sandwich was delicious, the customer experience was top notch, the location was within close proximity to the French quarters and it all went towards a great cause. Love this spot and will definitely come back again.

Ummmm not sure how I slept on this place for so long! The vegan sammy I had was delish and super fresh. Dutch crunch bread is where it’s at.

Came on Mardi gras and had great sandwhiches. Can’t speak to the indoor because it was closed, but sandwhiches were delicious!

My office has started using these guys for catering and we've been really satisfied. In a town full of great poboy shops you wouldn't think that a California sub chain could thrive. Ike's makes great sandwiches that stick to the ribs and satisfy when you're feeling something a little different than fried shrimp & roast beef. Their signature bread is part of it, but quality ingredients, and inventive sauces really bring it home. I've tried a lot of their stuff since we get big mixed trays. I'm a meat eater but their vegan meatball sandwich is SOLID! Two thumbs up for Ike's.

Ikes is always great place to eat. Food is always hot and fresh. The server today (Hollywood) was very nice and friendly as well. We will always stop by when passing thru. We went back today and eat before we headed back to TN. The lady server with grey color hair was very nice and friendly as well. Of course the food and service was still great.

I absolutely love Ike’s! The food is always consistent and great. Joani is my favorite employee. She remembered my name from the very start and always has a smile and welcoming words when I come in the Dauphine location. She makes the best magic mushroom latte. If you ever tried this place, try the Meatless Mike and ask for Joani.

I didn’t even know what a sandwich was until I had one from Ike’s! As a vegetarian, I appreciate their endless options. I’ve never been to a place that caters to all needs (vegetarian, halal, etc) under one roof with such professionalism. Thank you Ike & Team! I’ll definitely be back for more!

El camarero/a fue increíblemente amable, simpático y carismático; nos dio las mejores recomendaciones y nos hizo sentir como en casa. Y la comida… ¡madre mía! La carta es extensa, con muchísimos sándwiches, postres y bebidas únicas para elegir. Sus bebidas son auténticos elixires, elaborados con hierbas como la melena de león y otras que ayudan a todo, desde la concentración hasta, digamos, la vitalidad 😉. Pedí mi sándwich en su pan morado especial (¡un capricho de Halloween!), que estaba delicioso y lucía espectacular en las fotos. Me preparé mi propio Philly cheesesteak, y el chef lo clavó: cocinado y sazonado a la perfección, justo como me gusta. Como alguien de Pensilvania que ha probado muchos Phillies auténticos e incontables imitaciones, este se lleva la palma. Todo, desde el ambiente hasta el servicio y la comida, fue excepcional. My sandwich was bomb! I ordered the Sometimes I'm a Vegan, no cheese, added avocado...oh my gosh it was good! Tore it up. Had me thinking I should have skipped Dat Dog and came straight here. Whoever made this for me 😙 bomb! Vegan menu. Vegan friendly.

Nice little neighborhood sandwich shop with delicious mushroom and coffee drinks. Many vegan options too. I had a sandwich on sour dough brioche with beef, avocado, sauce, and lettuce and tomato. It was delicious and enough for me to have two meals. The chocolate enchantment drink was delicious too....especially, with an added coffee shot. Celebrity photos adorn the walls.

Despite the restaurant having a super cool look and a large menu it’s hard to give it a completely good rating because my food took incredibly long! I ordered a cold sandwich that ideally the only thing that needed to be cooked was the bacon and the toasted bread. I waited around 20 minutes for the sandwich only for it to come out wrong :( Thankfully the server kindly replaced it and was super sorry about the wait. But the chef was definitely not on his a game. The server was nice but I want to warn people about the expensive prices and the possible long wait time. This isn’t a sandwich spot that you can just be in and out of quickly.

Tbh I've had better sandwiches at the airport :/. This place was so hyped up and we were excited to try it. Got the Ike's Reuben on Dutch bread. It was meh. The bread was soggy and the amount of meat was minimal. Maybe you're supposed to ask for them to be toasted or warmed up because it was a strange lukewarm temperature. The lettuce and tomatoes definitely weren't fresh and the sandwich as a whole lacked flavor. Maybe we just came on a bad day, but at least the sandwich was edible. Kind of overpriced for such mid food.

There are alot of creative options available. Loving the selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Not as impressed with the bread. Figured I'd give it a chance even though it is a chain restaurant in the marigny, which honestly doesnt quite rub me right. At the end of the day it was food, it wasnt inedible but it wasnt that good either. I wont return or recommend.

They served me unsalted fries and when I asked for salt they said they were out. Personally I think you should either warn customers or comp their bill. They did neither and, by the way, unsalted fries are pretty unappetizing. The sandwich had a good flavor and I liked the bread but it was a little stingy on the meat. For $27 for the sandwich, fries, and tip, I wouldn't do it again.

Esperé unos 20 minutos por el sándwich y, para colmo, ¡me lo trajeron mal! :( Por suerte, el camarero amablemente me lo cambió y se disculpó mucho por la espera. Pero, sin duda, el chef no estaba en su mejor momento. El camarero fue amable, pero quiero advertir a la gente sobre los precios elevados y la posible larga espera. Este no es un sitio de sándwiches donde se entra y se sale rápidamente.

I had high hopes for a breakfast sandwich from this shop. Considering their prices and reputation, I expected high quality ingredients. Which for an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich means plenty of good, thick-cut BACON (and not the kind you make in a microwave) am I right? I even splurged and ordered the ‘double protein’ option, bringing my sandwich from $8 to $16! I ask you, does this look like ‘double’ bacon sandwich?? The flat, limp, so-called bacon had no flavor. Very disappointing (and expensive) mistake.

Sandwiches are GREAT! Some of the best I've ever had. But I'm going to leave a mediocre rating due to lack of respect for patrons. Ike's added a $27 service charge to our tab (a group of 5). They didn't mention that. Maybe it's in small print of the menu somewhere among the 3,456 items listed, but it would be good business to mention that to the table. It would take 3 seconds to do. Our server was very friendly, but when he presented us our check it didn't say anything about service being included. So I tipped an extra 20%. I asked for a printout of the itemized receipt after paying, and I'm just now realizing we double tipped.

I'm staying close to Ike's this time in new orleans, so I decided to try it. I showed up at around 6:30 p.m. and there was only one other person waiting for a to go order. I ordered their version of a muffaletta and some onion rings to go. The sandwich had good quality meats; however, was missing that olive salad oily bite (very small amt of olive salad). There was a bit of a spicy spread that seemed to be only on one side. The bread was tasty, but fell apart. The most disappointing part where the onion rings. When I walked out the door after getting the food, I stuck my hand in the bag to try one, hoping they would be fresh. They weren't? I'm wondering if they sat in the kitchen for a bit, because a party of six people walked in and sat at the bar which distracted the one server that was there for quite a while. When you're paying $30 for a sandwich, some onion rings and a lemonade it should be much better.

Tenía muchas esperanzas puestas en un sándwich de desayuno de esta tienda. Considerando sus precios y reputación, esperaba ingredientes de alta calidad. Lo cual, para un sándwich de huevo, queso y tocino, significa mucho tocino bueno y grueso (y no del que se prepara en el microondas), ¿verdad? Incluso me di un capricho y pedí la opción de "doble proteína", ¡lo que elevó mi sándwich de $8 a $16! Les pregunto, ¿esto parece un sándwich de "doble" tocino? El supuesto tocino, plano y blando, no tenía sabor. Un error muy decepcionante (y caro).

Saw Ike there and said hello. He just looked at me stupid like he's some super star. Sandwich was okay but way better choices close by for half the price. Was hoping it was good bc it's right next door. Oh well

Just a mean old woman working there. Real bummer experience. Ordered a sandwich and then politely asked what the Wifi was, and that seemed to piss her off. I dont get what’s wrong with people. Why treat people like garbage? I just dont get it.

... and 24hrs later, they have taken the accessibility off their menu and website. Cool. All the restaurants dont care about serving anyone but the same old thing for everyone who can eat anywhere. I guess I will never go out to eat then, Ikes. ....... I got delivery. I have tons of allergies due to medical conditions, including celiac. I had no reactions and loved my food. It is wild to me how hard it is to get a sandwich I can eat from local places but I can get one here, so I'm very grateful!

There is no reason to go to this chain restaurant. Much better poboys elsewhere, maybe anywhere. Bartender was absolutely great, 5 stars for her.

I tried Ike’s for the first time today on my lunch break. My sandwich came out quickly and the person behind the bar was really pleasant. However, after a few bites of my sandwich, I noticed a moldy smell. Hate to discover mold in my sandwich, especially when I’ve already begun eating. Unfortunately, I can’t trust their quality control and won’t take the risk of dining there going forward.

I ordered a Mrs. Robinson (fried chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch, provolone) add lettuce and red onion online for pick-up. When I opened it upon returning home, I was extremely disappointed to see the only items on the sandwich were chicken and lettuce. No sauces, no cheese, just chicken and lettuce. I called the restaurant and let them know about the issue with my food only to be informed the only thing they could do is remake it. I live 15 min from this place and I’m absolutely not driving an *hour* round trip for a sandwich. They did not offer a refund, discount, voucher for a new sandwich, or any kind of reimbursement for this sad sandwich they gave me which was over $20 after tax and tip. They did not even offer an apology just an “I’ll let the chef know” which is crazy. It’s worth noting the restaurant was (unsurprisingly) completely empty and we were the only two to-go orders sitting on the counter. This wasn’t a case of an overwhelmed kitchen/confused order which would at least be understandable.

The sandwich and fries I got itself was really good. However, after eating my friend and I started to not feel too great. Not sure what it was that we ate there that could’ve caused it but we definitely got a little sick from the food. Disappointing because the sandwich was good.
