Plentiful selections and cheerful faces make this a great location. Certain items are unavailable during the day/lunch (steaks) but are available for evening meal. Busy but not brutal. I loved it.

I’m originally from Austin and not a fan of GC’s usually bc they’re too big, too crowded and dirty but this TYLER location is the bomb! THIS GC IS RUN EFFICIENTLY! Good job to their mgmt and workers. Always clean. Great servers! Food is always fresh. If you haven’t signed up for their rewards you’re literally missing out on free buffets in the future.

This is a great restaurant there are many different types of foods you can get .The Employees are really nice to people.

More varieties of shrimp and all seafood would have been better. I luv seafood! Salad bar was great. Tarter sauce was not like any other I have ever eaten, interesting flavor, very good. Meatloaf was a little bland. For whatever reason the straws aren't stocked next to where you get your drink. So you have to wait several minutes for someone to bring you a straw so that you can take your first sip. There was a wide selection of desserts. The peach cobbler was awesome.

I've been going here for years. Different golden corrals It's always amazing food, the cookers in the center making the meat are always friendly and assist if you need any help with food or wanting a certain amount of meat made for you for no charge after getting in. Theres alwaysalways enough food for everyone! If you want to sit in a private and calmer table you can go into a different area and sit there. Theres always plenty of room anywhere They have split sections easy to find everythinv examples desert or sweets in one section, a salad section, fruit section, sometimes its a little crowded if you go on weekends. I definitely recommend going earlier in the day or on weekdays but other than that its really great food you can even move the table around to fit lots of guest or habe own room for party's

Very busy Golden Corral where it was pretty hard to get around people. I thought that was a good sign but I was wrong. The food is pretty bland, I couldn’t taste seasoning on hardly anything. The fried chicken was dry and I assume fried in peanut oil as that is the only flavor it had. Corn was mushy and flavorless, same with the mashed potato’s and the creamed spinach. The steak was okay though the person grilling didn’t take any orders and just plopped it onto your plate regardless of how you wanted it cooked (unlike other golden Carrol’s). This meant I got a well done steak which just isn’t my cup of tea. The fried shrimp, hush puppies, chicken wings, and sweet and spicy sauce were all very good and cooked well. The desserts were also all pretty good with the exception of the churros which just wernt very fresh. Just wasn’t really with 23 dollars for a buffet and drink when most sit down restaurants are around the same price for much higher quality of food.

Everything was good. However, there was something wrong with the water they were using. The sodas, teas, ice, and icees all tasted like fish tank water. Good customer service but not having anything good to drink ruined it.

Although the wait staff did well, the food was not so well. The catfish that was advertised was actually whitefish and it was under fried. Still a bit pink and transparent. With the amount of people in the restaurant, the buffet was almost out of certain items most of the time. A few things were over cooked and inedible.

Took my family of four to eat here last evening. Second visit in a month. Sadly several of the entres were cold or tepid at best. The service staff were super nice though!!

Food was good and fresh . Place was very clean with a nice waiter. The only thing bad about this place was that the guy cooking the steaks was very rude to costumers. It was like he dislike his job . I had ask for a well done steak and he wanted to give me 2 pieces of steaks he had on the side which were burned and dry . I told him that I didn't want my steak burned and rudely told me that I had to wait 5 mins , when he did had other steaks ready . He only wanted to get rid of the burn ones . My son went like 2 mins after me and he asked for median done . He gave him the burn ones that he wanted to give to me . And those were no where near median done . These were the steaks that he gave my son claimed to be median done ?🤔

I gave 2 stars bc I went for breakfast Buffett. 1) they charged way more than advertised. 2) they only had 5 breakfast options; eggs, waffles, sausage, and grits. That was it. Everything else was lunch food.

Bland and not very clean. Stuck to the chicken and the sides that were hot the salad bar looked like it hasn't been tended to for a long period of time and much of the hot dishes were warm at best it's no wonder they're closing them down all over the place GC has gone down hill in the last few years for sure

I want to start off by saying the management at this establishment is very rude, my family was here trying to enjoy a meal together when the manager told us we couldn’t wait by the door for a family member, who was paying for our meal, and then a cashier wanted to jump in and tell my sister she didn’t need to be rude even though we had told management we were waiting since the family member was in line and there was no way for us to get through to her due to the line. I also want to add that raw chicken isn’t acceptable at a restaurant, picture for reference, if I wanted to pay to eat raw chicken I would simply buy a pack at the grocery store and proceed to eat it.

For me buffets are hit and miss. They can be good or not and this was not for me. I have heard for some friends it was good but it was not for me. First off let me say that the place was clean and the bathrooms we're clean too. I tired a little bit of everything I could eat and most of the food was mediocre. One example was the Mac and cheese now I stay away from carbs at buffets but I love Mac and cheese but this tasted nasty. It was very watery and there was hardly any cheese taste. I think I like only two things there which was there cheeseburger without the bread and their pulled pork. I got there at breakfast time and it was not crowded but once 11 am came people came and 2 school bus with kids came before I left. I don't think golden corral is going change because people are still going and eating lame food. The pictures I put are some food items the serve. Oh I forgot the servers ask if you want rolls which is strange but I know why they do it. Now that I went there I won't go back. UPDATE! If you have a disability like autism be sure to tell them and make sure they accommodate you from your disability because they didn't do it to me and the manager on duty said it was more important that a group get a quiet spot then me. Of course I was just about done with eating but still management could of said something. You do not have to tell them your disability just make sure you get treated right and have happen to you happen to me. Update. Food is still not good and the bathrooms stink.

the food that I experienced eating was not worth the money, the corn was dried out, almost like feeding it to a dear. The fish was very rubbery. Tartar sauce taste like ammonia. The vegetables with very, very limpy, small fried shrimp I couldn't tell what it was just crunchy and overcooked, pretty much I ate was very unappealing. Now the banana pudding was good.. Really disappointed.. Not worth 16$ at lunch or anytime

Worst experience ever for a buffet. Don't believe the hype they advertise on TV. This Golden Corral does NOT live up to that. Dried up pork and Chicken. Little bit of shrimp. No steaks, prime rib, wings or good food. Biggest Waste of Money! Horrible! Go to a regular Chinese buffet! Much better! Walk Away, Drive Away!

I order a pan of dressing for Christmas and it was horrible. I throughly I was going to get homemade dressing but instead I get a pan of stove top. I was very disappointed and had to recook the dressing adding all my seasoning for taste. I will never order dressing again from them
