I’ve been coming here for years and it’s time to finally say something, chilis always offer that great family time for me and the food is always consistent which is why I keep coming over and over. Service is awesome, atmosphere is a vibe and the food ooo especially the burgers, they are one of my favorite places to get burgers 🙌🏽

From 4 to 5 stars again. Went for a to-go on 6/30 evening, had a great experience with the staff. Our main server was the big guy, very attentive and personable, but 2 more were also nice, came out and made sure we had been taken care of. A good example of prime customer service. Thank you! 🙂

Our outdoor dining experience with my daughter and I was awesome. MATT deserves praise from the ownership. His sense of humor And genuine professionalism as a server was beyond awesome. I hope this gets back to Chili’s management to where they can give him praise for our great service tonight.

Staff is amazing and service is quick! We're usually a larger party (8 people), but we rarely have to wait long to be seated - about 20-30 minutes. The Union City location is the best. We live in the South Bay but make the drive just to come to this location!

My favorite chilis. Great service and they put effort into the food. I don't give it a 5 for the atmosphere because there's a guy who talks and talks and talks next to me. I really appreciate it when a chain restaurant has good energy and you want to go to that place even though it's always the same food.

It was Valentine's Day and very crowded. They sat myself and my plus one right away. Food was excellent! Didn't drink any alcohol. Service was fast and polite.

Our waiter was excellent He kept looking out for us and said I got you 😁. Hamburgers were great, loved the chips and salsa trio too.

Accommodated large group of 18 easily. Server Charlie was gracious and welcoming. Fun food for after a softball tournament!

Always consistent 🤗 Update: There is a new host (guy with curly ponytail), the past 4 or 5 visits this guy has made our arrival difficult when it comes to being seated, we visit here once our twice a week faithfully so it has become very disheartening to go lately. He is never clear on the wait time, he always pushes us to the bar side even though we tell him no, he adds people before and after us to if wait list but never adds us (everytime). Its just the weirdest vibe. We also have to get the queso warmed up more, it's never hot enough. One waitress is our absolute fav(I'll get her name), so amazing and remembers us/our order when we visit and have her.

All of the staff here are very nice and attentive. I love the margarita chicken entree with asparagus and black beans. Except on my last visit the chicken was rubbery like it was frozen and the pieces are getting smaller and smaller. Also, I do not like the burnt edges.

My husband and I came in for a quick bite, not expecting much, but we left full and completely satisfied. This location has improved so much from just a few months ago. We were lucky to have Lexy as our server – she was fantastic! From seating us to providing outstanding service, she truly made our visit special. I just wanted to highlight how great she was! Was in town visiting family. We were a party of 7. We were seated immediately, then attended too quickly. The service was great, I believe Chey waited on us. I could be wrong, but our waiter and other staff were attentive. The food and drinks were great too. And the Raiders and 49ers were playing. So it was overall a great time.

As a chilis connoisseur, i had a very positive experience at this location. The food was fresh and the servers were so friendly with a wonderful attitude. All the classics we ordered were spot on. Came on a saturday afternoon and was delighted to see lots of happy customers. Had a great time and left feeling satisfied. Will definitely return!

Antwone, our server, was very attentive and prompt to satisfy our requests. Jazz also went over and above in many ways. First I asked him to inform our server of an additional appetizer I wanted as Antwone was attending another table. Instead he took care of my request himself. When I forgot my phone inside, they brought it out to me in the parking lot. It was reassuring they had me verify my identity before giving it to me. Later, I noticed my phones stylus was missing, Jazz, Antwone, and everyone attending our table looked everywhere, but couldn't find it. Jazz took my number in case it showed up. Apparently, they continued looking and miraculously found it. Jazz called me and I was extremely thankful of all the extra attention they gave me. I highly recommend the Union City location for both the food and the service, with a big thank you to Jazz, Antwone, and all the other staff.

We had a great experience! We got seated right away and food came in pretty quick. Lexie took care of us, she was attentive, kind, and welcoming. The kids were practicing how to order their meals independently, and Lexie did not rush us. We’ve had a bad experience in the past in other places, so this was refreshing. I came here with my family before a movie at the nearby theatre, and everything was phenomenal! The kids enjoyed their meal, the nachos and salsa were just right for my 8-year old! The area was clean, and our waiter was the nicest we'd had in a long time! Definitely will be coming back, and very much recommend for anyone who wants to give a try!

Kelvin our server exhibited excellent customer service. He was readily available throughout the meal and even went above and beyond. Please keep hiring good people like him! The $10.99 meal is so yummy! Wonderful value and quality. We got the Smashburgers one with grilled onions & one without. Delightful and huge portions too! I got the fries with queso and bacon and it was so filling and delicious too. The $6 Radical Rita was refreshing.

We r in the middle of 2 Chillies Fremont n Union Landing. We always go to Union landing service is great. Ricky takes care of us If the food doesn't come out right they make sure to remake it. I was shocked yesterday my meal had hair in it. While I waited for them to bring out the replacement food my family were done eating. I brought my food home. After all that I was handed the full bill. It wasn't expensive but you wud think they should have comp that meal. May 1st 2024 My family and I r regular at this restaurant, once a week at least. It use to be really satisfying, since last 3 weeks seems like the manager doesn't like us to use rewards. We accumulate lots of rewards since we go there every week. So recently they bring my receipt to the table instead of letting me log in n enter discount on drinks or chips n salsa or desert or kids meal. Today the manager charged me $15.75 for chicken mex bowl that was ordered from lunch menu $10. They didn't follow instructions how everything was ordered so I had to ask to make corrections to my order and they did. But they charged me extra $1 for lettus that comes with the ckn mex bowl. Well again I couldn't find my bill on the kiosk. Server brings receipt again with these bogus amounts that I already mentioned above. Now I was thinking why I haven't received any rewards recently except for the chips n salsa. Well that's coz I haven't logged in to show my purchase , the manager has been outsmarting us all this time. So if the cooperate is reading this, why even have the rewards program when your managers don't want to honor it n play games with customers. Really sad to treat ur regular customers in this manner sir. U know who u are (manager) Oh 1 more thing the appetizers,soup side salad and food all came out together at once. I like my food to come later then the appetizers so I can enjoy it without having my food go cold. Seriously this place needs a class on serving food n customer service 😒

Food wasn't bad chili not the best burgers were alright and that's to be expected but service was good, even though they were busy.

The food was good, the service was good but the bathroom was highly dangerous. My daughter (age 4) fell 3 times trying to walk from the bathroom door to the bathroom stall. The floor is soo slippery, unlike anything I have experienced before. My husband and son said the mens was the same.

Today I'm rating 4 stars for the pick up window. If I was rating just today's experience, I would give 5 stars. If I was rating my recent past experiences, not so good. I've waited well past the time given to me recently as well as not had my order correct or drinks missing. However, the past is the past and today I walked in at the time given online and was greeted, by my first name, by Vanessa, the girl working the pick up window. 1st time in my many visits that has ever happened. And it also was the 1st time Vanessa has ever helped me. So I definitely did not expect her to know my name. My order was 100% correct including caramel and chocolate sauces for the deserts and including utensils. Which might seem like a small detail, but those have not always been in the bag when ive left before. I made sure she knew that her attitude and attention to details were appreciated. Good job Vanessa. You upped your locations rating for me. Thanks.

Staff was very welcoming & helpful. Which was good since you have to use their “ziosks” for your Chili’s Bonus Offers - and I always end up having to get their assistance to use them. Not sure 🤔 how those “self serve” ziosks actually save their Servers any time.

This place is consistent! It's not amazing but far from terrible! We always opt for bar seats as they're walk in with no wait. The staff fulfill requests promptly and correct any mistakes that may occur. Prices are great and you get good portion sizes for the value! Would reccomend to anyone! Perfect place for a weekend dinner!

Updated July 2025 I was going to go for the Swiss cheeseburger with mushrooms but at the last minute I switched over to the bean patty instead of the meat out of health reasons even though I am eating a plate of fries. All in all the the burger was tasty and the mushrooms were very yummy. Fries were in excellent shape, nicely cooked and the food as opposed to my last complaint wasn't that salty at all which was great. My partner had I think called the chicken nachos and I try it a couple of those and those are pretty good too. I think she got the extra order of guacamole on her plate. We have been here a few times since covid and the food's been pretty good so I updated my rating and raised it up. ****""" Below is my previous review from about 6 years ago. Solid chili's. Great service. Our server was super nice and very helpful with everything. One item to be aware of, the fried mozzarella is delicious, but it's also ginormous. We ordered the 6 piece for the 4 of us, and we only ate 3. We thought they were going to be string cheese size, not a triple thick Hershey chocolate bar size per piece. The breading on it was great. The dip was great with the chips. My steak was cooked decently well, bit more medium than the medium rare ordered. Huge portions good pricing. Solid chili's.

This is a great restaurant to take your family or friends. Good value and generous portions. The food is good too. I recommend their burgers. The burger is big and the patty is thick. The serving of fries is generous Another winner is the fajita combo. Chicken, steak and shrimp with beans and salsa and peppers. It's enough for 2 people to share. Who ever is manning the grill that Saturday night is doing good job. The steak was medium rare, and the chicken was juicy. Even the hamburger was grilled just right. Service is friendly and Atmosphere is fun.

The best part about this trip was the server. She was so kind and funny. I got the crispy chicken sandwich...it was really rubbery and I couldn't go past a few bites. She was very kind about it and made sure I wasn't charged for the dish. The fried cheese was delish and my kids liked their pasta and chicken strips

I have frequented this restaurant , I mean the chain not this particular restaurant, for years and that was about the worst Burg I've ever had there it was soaked in salt, friend that was eating with me had the same burger and had the same problem we were only able to eat about a quarter of it

Food was average, speed of service was good. While my server was adequate, looking around it just seemed like most of the staff wanted to be somewhere else, distant and not engaged with their job or customers. Seems like that's more and more the post COVID reality

Chili’s has great soup. Love stopping there for a quick, budget friendly meal. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have the best service. It’s not bad, but it’s also just not that great.

Really good service, food not that good to be honest...

Dined there about 1 pm. The place looked empty from the parking lot. Go inside and get the best service. The waiter was very attentive, courteous, and friendly. My guest had the nuggets for lunch, which were dry, buffalo sauce was good, extra serving of fries. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, sauce was good, plenty of fries.

Stopped by to get dinner. Wow! What a let down, The gal taking the order was very sweet. I ordered the 3 combo. All I got was meat. The server asked if broccoli and mash was okay. I said great. We got nothing but meat, And the meat was so dry had to give it to the dog. Won't be going back. $ 80.76 for three meals. Never again. Disgusting Yuck!

WORSE VISIT EVER!!!! Let me start by saying, I'm only giving them 2 stars for the taste of the food. It wasn't crowded, but it took the employees 5 minutes to notice we entered the building another 5 to be seated. They were laughing by the bar. The waitress waved her hand at us. I guess to indicate she was coming. Our waitress took our order of appetizers and didn't return to take the rest of our order for another 20 minutes. Wanted to ask her a question, she walked off in the middle of us about to order. Watched the door more potential customers walked in waited a long time like we did and ended up leaving. One of them got upset for waiting so long and went to complain at the bar. We wanted to pay using our kiosk because we didn't know when our waitress would return, sadly it was broken, so we didn't touch it. Unfortunately had to wait for our waitress to return to pay our bill. Paid her and left. Read our receipt from the car and saw that we were charged $1.99 for "entertainment" ( i'm assuming the broken kiosk) Didn't even want to deal with them any longer so we ate the 2 bucks and just left. We won't be returning. I'd hate to see how the service is during lunch or dinner hours.

I heard somewhere chili's food improved in recent years; so gave it a try. Very disappointed with quality of food. My family got different dishes, but all were totally different from pictures on the menu, and disappointing. Won't come again.

Ordered skinny margarita. Did not taste like it at all, taste like they use sprite with little bit of lime. It was very sweet. I ordered skinny margarita because I don’t like sweet drinks. I told the server that it doesn’t taste like margarita & did not even look like it. The server with a not so good attitude insisted it is & said if I want another one it will be the same thing! . No apologies at all!!! Did not even offer to fix it! Server disappeared, never came back! We had to waive at the hostess for a to go box for our food!

I don't recommend this restaurant. I had a bad meal there several months ago but I hoped it was better this time, but not. The food was subpar at best. The brisket quesadilla was dry and missing the meat. My friend had chili that was sent back because it is too spicy and not tasty. The best part of the meal was the chips with queso,salsa and guac appetizer.

the host were extremely nice, but the rest of the staff were extremely rude. I cant believe what i had to go through to just order my food with my wife and kids, i asked to speak to the manager that was there and I believe his name was john and he spoke to me in an improper manner about how things are ran. gave soo much attitude and I don't believe i will be coming back to this establishment, neither should anyone else who doesn't want to be disrespected

I placed a to-go order through their app yesterday and it was completely wrong. First, they waited until I got there to inform me that one of items I had ordered was not available. Then the bacon burger was completely missing from the bag so I had to go back to get it. Then when I was finally able to sit down to eat, there was no dressing on my Buffalo Chicken salad, even though I had requested extra dressing. And my sister was missing the bread from her pasta dish. I do not think I will be returning to this location anytime soon.

Ordered a triple dipper and my burger bites were extremely salty. I reached out to the manager a few hours later as my lunch is only 30 minutes and was advised by the manager on duty (a guy) that I would receive a refund. I reached out a week later and spoke to Catherine and was told that she did not see anything in the system about the refund and that she would refund it. Till this day no refund has been received. This is terrible customer service!! This is my local chili's and I will never bring my busy here again. They should replace the cook and day managers and start all over with people who know how to handle situations and customers.

My family and I have been going here for years. Upon us entering, we were met by a waitress who seated us before another couple who had been there first. Then as we got to our table, our waiter came buy and greeted us, but was no where to be seen when we were going to order our appetizers. Once I finally flagged him down, we were able to order our drinks(WATER) and our appetizers. After 15 minutes of waiting for the drinks to come, we were getting annoyed. We found our waiter and he said he would go right away and grab them. We waited another 15 minutes. By then we had no appetizers and no drinks. So we left. Horrible service, and there weren't even a lot of people there.

Showed up to pickup my food. Parked in lot #7 and checked in with app. After waiting 20 minutes I walked inside and found food sitting at the to go station cold. Manager gave me 2 5$ gift cards on a 50$ order with a tip. Place is a joke. Food was cold obviously and soggy. Go figure.

Went to Chili's for the first time since the pandemic started..used to go every Sunday to watch a game and have dinner at the bar...went and had boneless wings and they came with curly fries..my order came out and it was ok...more curly fries with 4 boneless chicken wings..then my boyfriend got his...the chicken wings looked more like chicken rocks...not much bigger than a nickel..asked the server if we could get them remade...came out again..I don't even feel like it was remade...they looked the same..so I ended up paying for mine and refunding his. Went home and got him something else for dinner... I used to love this place...won't be back..

The Latino female server was racist. Smiled only to white people. My mom and I are Chinese. After we told her we want water without ice and needed a little more time to decide what to order, she left and walked to the back to chat with friends. Not saying that’s not allowed,but when my mom tried to get her attention so we could start ordering by saying several time“Hi! Hello!”, she kept talking with her friend in the back and avoiding eye contact, pretending like she could not hear us. We tried getting her attention for at least two minutes while she ignored us. After my mom left her seat and said loudly for the eighth time“Hi! Hello!” to get her attention,she made fun my mom’s accent by repeating in a childishly rude way“Hi! Hello!” To her chatting friend and came to take our order. She could not even squeeze a fake smile on her face. My mom was trying to be very polite this whole time, and did want to be too loud, and smiled to server the whole time!!! That server did smile and greet the other group of white people who came after we ordered our food. The guy who later served us our water and our food was really nice and friendly though. But still, the girl made our experience horrible because my mom was treated with such disrespect. And the only English that she knew was made fun of. Not coming back.

If there was a rating lower than one star I would give that. We went in and were told that we can get a table in 15 minutes after waiting for 45 minutes. The person who initially told us had disappeared. We didn’t know who to follow up with as no one was on the front… kept asking various other staff - got no updates… if you don’t have a table - just say so!!!. As a parent with little children on a Friday evening… had horrible experience. Walked out of there to grab fast food. Never going again ..save your money and go other places. Incompetent staff

We picked up food to go. On reaching home, your staff did not pack the salsa. My wife called and was able to speak with Jesus who identified himself as a Supervisor. He offered either we drive back to get salsa for our chips or give us a $5 GC. We asked for both because gas alone is not enough to grab items that we have already paid for. You could have been more flexible and offered both. We always loved your salsa and this ruined our experience.

Firstable when I went to the restroom, I saw the food runners employees on the phone chatting or texting and playing with their phones. The food runners don’t used any gloves to handle the food after playing with the phone. I think we as a customers we deserve to get a clean plate of food. That’s why many people get sick for food poisoning for not being responsible on your workplace and not using gloves when preparing or handling food that’s not yours.

They served me cold chili and not as in it cooled down, but ice cold chili 🤢 nothing in the rest of my order was as cold as the chili for it to have cooled down to that temperature. My fresh Mex bowl came with lettuce which I requested to be removed. Thanks for my last visit.
