Food was excellent from the calamari and bruschetta to the frutta di mare clams ravioli and gnocchi. Big portions so come hungry. The booths gave a more intimate setting. Service was very good as well.
AJ and Murriel are awesome, the food is incredible. Bread made fresh and their pastas are excellent and generous portions.
Dan our server was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. When I was worried the Gorgonzola gnocchi dish might be too rich for me he allowed me to choose another sauce (sun dried tomato pesto cream) and it was incredible!! I order gnocchi at every restaurant across the country I get a chance and this ranks in the very top of my list!!
Fast friendly service. Food was delicious. Even though sauces may look alike they had different and distinct flavors. The spicy sausage was great. The shrimp in the sauce wasn't over cooked. Everything was right. Would definitely go back if I visit Vail again.
Great service. Extensive menu of traditional Italian dishes. But also great chef specials. Wine list is extensive. Dan was a great waiter.
I can’t imagine going to Vail and not stopping by for a dinner here. Always get amazing food and with such cute and homey vibes. Perfect place to get some great pasta after a long day in the snow. The two tasty options we most recently had were the Farfalle con Pollo and Pasta Gamberetti e Pesto di Pomodoro. I would absolutely get both dishes again as it would be tough to choose between the two, though the bow tie pasta itself was a little more fun and unique to eat. The very hearty portions were perfect to share between 3 people as well. The Cappuccino Torte was a nice and rich way to end the meal as well (though a scoop of gelato or ice cream on the side would push it over the top).
One of my favorite restaurants in the Vail Valley. Every year on our ski vacation, we go here a couple of times for the last 10 years. It has been consistent and exceptional every time. We have tried so many entrees and each time, they have been so delicious. On busy ski weeks, it would be wise to make reservations. Lastly, the service was friendly and attentive. A real gem!
This restaurant is cozy and the food is delicious!! The portions are huge so we were able to take home leftovers as well. We came here last year when in Vail and came back this year because we loved it.
Haven't been in over 10 years. Caesar fantastic. Chicken scallopine w/ angel hair amazing. Cappuccino torte to finish things off was incredible (made in house) Ken was a terrific host. This place rocks. Unequivocally, the best Italian in vail valley.
Very good dinner. Eggplant fritte appetizer, Porkchop, Scaloppini di pollo, Scaloppini di veal, excellent bread, the cream of eggplant soup was amazing, minestrone soup was great. Service was very fast and friendly but not overly intrusive. Would recommend and go again.
Make sure you make a reservation before coming to this Tuscan style Italian eatery. Also, they have two locations. This one is located on the corner of an otherwise non descriptive strip mall. Walk inside and you will be transported to an Italian eatery. Portions are not huge but they are not small either and everything is delicious and made fresh. It is pricey but well worth it! We had two entrees: the Pasta Gamberetti e Pesto di Pomodoro which had shrimp sautéed with garlic olive oil, parsley, red pepper flakes, mushrooms and red onions in a sundried tomato pesto cream sauce and penne pasta; and the Involtino di Pollo, which was a chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella and garlic, wrapped with prosciutto and topped with a chianti wine sauce, served with sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. For dessert, we tried the Cappuccino Torte which is a Cappuccino Mousse, Espresso Fudge over a Graham Cracker Walnut Crust. Service was prompt and attentive. Very recommended.
So delicious! Some of the best food in the valley - better than sweet basil. Food is unbelievable (specials are unique, like whalleye pike) and the ambience is cozy like home. We’ve been all over Italy and this feels just like it!
Great food and a wonderful old Addaged themed Italian cuisine. Great staff over a busy Labor Day holiday weekend.
Long time local classic Italian restaurant. Fantastic food, service and ambiance.
Very good authentic Italian food.
My boyfriend thinks this is hands down the best restaurant in the valley because it has the highest quality italian food you can find in our area. This place is the real deal. The Involtino de pollo is a fantastic dish.
This place is perfect, do not let the outside fool you. Everyone there was extremely nice. Then the food, it was amazing. Everything we had was delicious. Highly Recommend you check this place out for great Italian food.
Great atmosphere and fantastic food. I tried the Penne Gorgonzola, it was delicious. I will definitely return again.
Absolutely delicious Italian food. I’ve never paid $$$ that much for a plate of spaghetti but the flavor was amazing. Excellent service and desserts too.
Food was great!
I had the Italian panini. Best sandwich I've ever eaten. Great appetizer too.
IThis is definitely the best risotto I’ve ever eaten. The food is incredible!
A real gem, outstanding italian food! Cozy atmosphere and the service feels like family.
I come here to leave a review every year and I realize I already left a 5 stars review. This restaurant has the best pasta in Colorado. The bread is divine as well.
The BEST food i have ever had! You must try!
This is one of our favorite restaurants! Consistently incredible food, highly trained, courteous and friendly wait staff, unique decor “old style Italian”, just amazing! Be sure to make a reservation!
Denise was amazing. The outside signage really betrays the experience on the inside! Perhaps they like it that way My girlfriend had the prosciutto wrapped chicken stuffed with mozzarella, I had the veal angel hair mushroom masala The mushroom sauce blew my mind, and taking the bites of the huge platter of chicken my lady had I can genuinely say it was the BEST bite of chicken I’ve EVER had. Entirely reasonable pricing for the price of vail, would recommend as a romantic dinner spot if trying to not totally break the bank and stil have A++ food and service Thanks , Denise!
We love this place, we come every time we visit town, which is 2-3 times a year at least. Excellent food, decent wine selection, and great service. I recommend the Gnocchi Principessa if you like blue cheese, it's decadent, but so rich it's hard to finish in the best way. Everything else we've tried has been great, but that's my personal go to. It's also vegetarian, which is nice I guess.
Old school Italian. Great, private booth. Lasagna wss great. Calamari was really, really good. Lemon sorbet was a fantastic throwback. Loved it. Note: garlic is old school too. It was in everything except dessert! 😊
Best Italian food outside of Italy. We were very impressed. We should have had a reservation but they accommodated us. The atmosphere is great. Service was excellent. Portions were very generous. Prices were reasonable for the size of the plate and the great experience!
Outstanding food. The chicken and strawberry pasta is one of the best Italian dishes I have ever had. The minestrone soup was excellent as well. Will definitely visit every time we are in the Vail area.
We love this place. An old school Italian place that serves locally and responsibly sourced produce and meats. Every dish we have ever had here has been so well executed where every aspect is on. The only issue we had was the last time we visited we felt rushed through our meals where courses were right on top of each other. We made a reservation for an earlier slot as we had an early start the next morning, but that doesn't mean we wanted to take our time and enjoy our meal. I didn't take any stars away from this as it might have been a one time thing, but besides this little issue, we feel this is one of the best hidden gems of the vail valley.
Ti Amo is amazing. Their sauces are out of this world. Service was 110%. Denise was so helpful, interesting, and had great suggestions on the menu and wine.
Absolutely delightful. The food was delicious, efficient when we were hungry and nicely paced when we were enjoying. The service was friendly and helpful, and the venue cosy, comfortable and inviting. Would 100% recommend and return.
Love Ti Amo! Anytime we are in town it's a must have. They are always so gracious to make their whiskey pasta for me at dinner time even though it's typically a lunch menu item.
The best restaurant in the US in 20 years of experience. It's worth the drive from Denver just to dine in this amazing restaurant.
Best Italian restaurant I’ve ever ate at. Real home cooking that is so flavorful.
This place it’s totally worth it, best Italian food I’ve had and the prices are great 👌
Truly a great place for date night! They also offer gluten free options!
Just ordered takeout and even after the drive home I want to do back flips because of how damn good this is! Got the Gorgonzola Gnocci and a Caesar and the the wife got the Gamberetti pasta. We shared fried calamari which was still crispy and delicious after the drive home! I have been making noises and jumping around it is so good! I even called them and told both of the ladies who answered how deliciously excellent this food was! Don’t worry about a thing! Go dine and enjoy!!!
We have been dining at Ti Amo for just about a decade. It is a spot we go for a treat or special occasion. This recent visit we experienced the best tasting meal we've had there and the service was on point. The Messicani di Vitello and Frutti di Mare were rich with the righr flavors and delightful! Normally we have the Gnocchi Principessa in the gorgonzola cream sauce and the Involtino di Pollo and love those dishes so much. I'm always hesitant ordering calamari places but theirs was tender and crispy on the outside. The best I've had in a long time. Espresso Martini was not too sweet or too creamy, pretty perfect. Definitely will keep dining here, especially with how exceptional the food and service was!
Very good pasta dishes, delicious sauce. Good portion too. We ordered veal with blue crab and angel hair, the veal is chewy but a bit too salty. Couldn't really taste the natural flavor of it. Shrimps with penne was perfectly cooked. On point.
We were really excited to try Ti Amo as it had come highly recommended by a few people at our hotel. We tried a bunch of different items including the calamari, gnocchi, fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar salad. Of everything, our favorite was the minestrone soup which was really good. The rest of the meal was very average. Our server was great - very friendly and attentive. Overall we felt like it was pretty average compared to other Italian restaurants in Vail.
Local American/Italian cozy restaurant. Great bar with wide selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. Friendly customer service, but food was ok.
local place. Our server this last time was not up to par, and even a little rude when asked to repeat the specials for lack of hearing her and understanding completely the accent being a young foreigner of Eastern Europe. Don’t recommend the bolognese, it lacks tomato based sauce, it lacks flavor and liquidy is the only way to describe the base. Other dishes were good.
We really wanted to support a local spot and was ready to like this place. There were maybe four families there for lunch as we were social distanced. We ordered a mushroom ravioli, veal scaloppini, and sausage and pasta dish. The bread that came before the meal was the best part of the meal. It was soft and tasty. The ravioli was not anything special. The veal meal didn't have a lot of veal. The flavor was pretty bland. The sausage and pasta dish was pretty good but not robust enough. The worst part was when we ran out of water and had to ask the server for more, and she brought back a carafe of luke warm water. We thought maybe she was busy, but there was only another family left. The other waitress was nice enough to take back the luke warm carafe, and they did amend the problem by taking our glasses and giving new ones. We didn't really want new glasses, just ice in the water. Overall, it was meh. We would not return.
Was very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. Host greeted us like we were a nuisance. If your kitchen closes at 9 then don’t allow reservations at 8:45.
I ate here in July and had an absolutely amazing meal. I revisted tonight, September 29, 2024 while visiting my sons, and I just did not like my meal. I told two servers - neither offered me another dish and of course, the meal was not comped. Very disappointed that I was not offered something else. While my first experience was extremely positive which is the reason I came back, I can't say I would eat here again based on this experience. There are other Italian restaurants in the area that I have not tried. Obviously, Tiamo doesn't care what I think as they have not even responded.
Atmosphere was great, and the fresh bread with olive oil was delicious. I ordered the seafood ravioli and it was hands down the worst ravioli I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant. The sauce had the consistency of water and barely any flavor. The outer edges of the ravioli were crunchy, not even close to al dente. And it was $36…. No thanks, never again.
Atrocious service for mediocre food. We went for a birthday dinner. We requested any dish without pepper due to allergy and were told “Everything has pepper, every dish”. The guest of honor did not order or eat, until I got up to talk to the manager who likely forced the chef to make a plain grilled chicken with veggies and gf pasta. The bill came and they tried to charge $47 for the meal!!!They said it was the same as a veal dish. AGAIN, I had to say something to the waitress, who I witnessed say something to the manager while throwing her head on the counter like a child pitching a fit. We were such an inconvenience for this local business we tried to supporting. And by the way do not order the Gorgonzola gnocchi, not good. Take your money elsewhere.
