This is a real hidden gem in El Carmen, delicious food. Dietary requirements labelled on the menu. I’m gluten free, and vegetarian and felt spoilt for choice. The service and atmosphere were very relaxing and comfortable. I would say the tofu Frito to start may need a little more flavour as it was quite bland. But otherwise very satisfied! Thankyou

Note: read before believing me — I come from a city where everyone eat extremely spicy food so this does not apply to all. Three months ago I came to Europe as an international student and over that time I struggled a lot trying to find spicy food in Oslo. I go to Asian restaurants, order the spiciest food and ask them to make the food even spicier. The result, however, was that they were nearly sweet for me. Eventually, I find what I want here today. Good atmosphere, good service, and perfectly spicy that made me sweat. Strongly recommend, and I’m sure you will enjoy it — just ask the chef to make it as spicy as in Thailand.🥰

Very nice restaurant in the El Carmen neighborhood. Lovely setting. Good service. I loved their Tom Gha Guy soup. I also tried their Massaman & Yellow curry dishes, which were tasty. I regularly eat Thai food at home in California. It seemed like the curries here were a bit toned down for my taste. But, they were still nice enough. The Tom Gha was a highlight for me. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful meal here last weekend celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff was attentive, the food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. I am definitely going to come back (it was already my second time). A little exotic gem in the middle of the Old Town of Valencia, perfectly situated for a post-lunch/dinner drink and walk around.

We had really delicious food in Mongkut! Definitely suitable for vegetarians, mine green curry with tofu was sooo good, even with 3 peppers spicy rating. Recomiendo!

A great dining experience with quality food to match. It's not easy finding good Thai cuisine in Valencia and Thai Mongkut is a shining example of what I expect in a good dining experience. We made dinner reservations and were promptly greeted and seated at our table. The serving is lovely and inviting with enchanting decor which provides a romantic setting (great date night spot). I ordered the Tom Kha soup to start which was delicious and full of shrimp. For the main course I had the Tofu pad thai and it tasted every bit as good as I hoped for. My only wish was that the portions matched the price (expensive for the small amount you get) but the taste was wonderful.

AMAZING!!! We came back here after coming on a previous visit a few years ago. The food was just as beautiful as we remembered. Great atmosphere and lovely decor. The drinks!!! The drinks - wow! Amazing vegan options and the staff spoke great English. Very friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend their version of spring rolls and their vegetable tempura. I would visit Valencia again purely to come back here!!!

A beautiful dining experience with excellent food and service. Sure the spicing is a "little lighter" than food in Thailand but the food is credible for western palates. We especially liked the lumpia (more of a Filipino dish but very tasty here) and the Tom Yum (a coconut allergy means no Tom Kha for us) as well as the tasty Laab. Don't miss the egg shaped white chocolate dessert it's really yummy. Service was attentive and the server was happy to have us pace our courses. Recommended for a change from the standard choices that populate the city center.

El restaurante es precioso, muy acogedor y bien decorado. La camarera que nos atendió era muy amable. El Pad Thai estaba muy bueno y el postre de arroz con leche de coco, exquisito. Solo tengo un pero: todas las salsas para los entrantes picaban y a mí me sienta mal el picante. Habría agradecido que tuvieran una salsa sin especias potentes (con jengibre, lemongrass...) para poder acompañar la ensalada que pedí, que estaba muy insípida sin la salsa que me trajeron. Por lo demás, todo perfecto.

We enjoyed our lunch, ordered menu of the day, €13.95. Food is prepared with flavor and style. Service is quick. Restaurant has a nice trendy Thai appearance. We used the online reservation but found it hounded my phone right up until 30 minutes before our seating. Price reasonable, drinks a little pricy. Worth visiting this place, it won't disappoint. 4.7 stars.

We went without a reservation and they were really nice about it and gave us a table that was reserved for a bit later. Service was a bit slow but there was only one waiter for the whole restuarant so it was understandable. The athmosphere is nice, but personally I don't like the smell of scented sticks which are at the entrance and you can kind of smell them everywhere. My biggest issue was the music that was a bit too loud and really not my style, but again just a personal preference. Regarding the food, we had the mini loumpias which were okay but in retrospect should have ordered the other spring roll becuase this was too meaty for me - barely any veggies in them. The saté chicken skewers were nice but they could've had a bit more spice to them, and the peanut sauce tasted slightly burnt? We also shared a pad thai which was the nicest dish, however, as me and my partner both like spicy food, we would have loved a spicy option for the pad thai - although it might not be super authentic. All in all we had a nice dinner, the two starters and a main came down to about 33 euros which is not bad (without drinks).

Un tailandés en Valencia que cumple bien. La comida es correcta y el local tiene una decoración con bastante encanto, lo que hace que se esté a gusto. Es un sitio donde se puede ir tanto a comer como a cenar. Los cócteles están buenos y, en general, destaca por ser un lugar tranquilo. Sin más pretensiones, una buena opción si buscas un ambiente relajado.

Thai Mongkut is a beautiful restaurant greatly located in the city center. The food, however, left me with mixed feelings. We oredered one of the menus. I'll start with the positive aspects: the spring rolls, the skewers, and the curry were excellent. The Pad Thai, however, was rather blend. In general, portions are quite small. The menu is not worth it to me as it is priced on the higher end for a quantity and quality that do not meet expectations.

La experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. Para empezar, me parece un abuso cobrar 6 € por un litro de agua, algo totalmente desproporcionado. Éramos tres adultos y dos niños, y nos obligaron a pedir el menú degustación para los tres adultos, sin opción a elegir carta. Lo más sorprendente es que el menú degustación es siempre el mismo, y además nos dijeron que si volvemos siempre tendríamos que pedir ese mismo menú. Sinceramente, ¿por qué voy a volver a un sitio donde me obligan a comer siempre lo mismo? Muy poca visión de negocio. Además, llegamos justo a la hora de apertura y nos encontramos las papeleras del baño llenas de papel usado, lo cual da muy mala imagen y deja mucho que desear en cuanto a limpieza e higiene. Para terminar, los entrantes del menú muy flojos, poco apetitosos y nada destacables. En resumen, no pensamos volver por su política de menú obligatorio y por una experiencia que no justifica el precio.

Came here with my boyfriend from Navathai Massage Center since it was included in the gift experience. The menu included four starters, two main dishes, a dessert, and two drinks. The food was really nice, not going to lie. Since this was included in the gift, we didn't pay, but if not, it was 29€ per person, which, for me, is overvalued compared to the quality of the food. I have to say that the place is decorated really well.

Why this place has this high review, I don’t understand. Worst Thai food ever. The food is really expensive and the portions are really small. It has nothing to do with Thai food. The soup was like 5 spoons of soup and the taste was like from a ready to eat soup, as for the spare ribs, they were really bad, the rice was cooked hours ago, and the vegetables were not fresh. Not worth the price of 15 euro. Do not go there. I regret from spending my money there. It was the shortest meal I had.
