Homemade and hearty food. We ate from the set menu on a weekday, and everything was delicious. The waitress was super friendly, attentive, kind, and very efficient. The menu offers a wide variety, and you can also order a la carte. Prices are very reasonable for the quality/quantity.

They have a set menu from Monday to Friday (€22), and everything was delicious. We were seated downstairs in the dining room, which was at a perfect temperature, and we had a wonderful meal. Carlos, who served us very well, kindly explained the dishes to us.

We had dinner there last night and, besides the wonderful service, everything was delicious. I understand the fame of their patatas bravas because they might be some of the best I've ever had...in fact, we ordered seconds. Highly recommended!

A centrally located spot in Palencia where you can sit down for a meal or share some tapas. It has a great atmosphere on weekends with locals. You absolutely must try the patatas bravas. They're fantastic. The service is attentive and fast. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations.

Whenever we visit Palencia, we always come back to this bar. The food is homemade and delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the music is lovely. We booked a set menu dinner, which turned out to be a great choice. The price was very good for the quantity and quality of the food we were offered. Everything was delicious! The restaurant staff was a model of customer service, always attentive, welcoming, and very attentive. We will definitely be back. I'm sharing photos of the starters and dessert, because the main courses didn't last even a second to photograph.

Menú diario interesante. Calidad a precio correcto. Raciones abundantes. Servicio esmerado y simpático. Requiere una reformita, los asos mas. Estratégico.

El menú del día es bueno y suficientemente variado. Cantidades generosas y buen sabor. La lasaña de carrilleras es probablemente el mejor plato de los que probé, el pescado del día y el pollo más normales pero igualmente buenos. El pequeño salón en el sótano es acogedor y coqueto, aunque tuvimos la mala suerte de coincidir con un grupo grande de mujeres que hicieron la comida incómoda y poco tranquila (está claro que hablar bajo por respeto al resto de comensales no es una costumbre arraigada). Precio correcto (24€ por persona), quizás algo elevado para la zona pero al menos sales bien comido. Me habría gustado probar el tapeo de la barra en la planta superior, se veían platos con buena pinta también.

Buenas raciones (las bravas merecen el premio nacional que tienen! Y las rabas no son como las de Santander pero están ricas). Ambiente agradable en un local de decoración tradicional y apetecible. Se puede entrae con mascota. Para ir muchas veces.

We went for tapas in Palencia and popped into this bar/restaurant, which was quite popular with locals. We ordered the patatas bravas, which are award-winning, potato salad, some Gildas (pickled peppers, anchovies, and olives), and the star of the show: Grandma's black pudding! Absolutely delicious! If you're ever in Palencia, I highly recommend it! The service was quick and friendly.

We were visiting the city and had this establishment as a favorite for its specialties of patatas a la importancia (potatoes) and menestra (menestra), but it was Friday and they weren't available. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It wasn't the best day. The tapas and beers were very limited, and two miserable croquettes. The service was terrible, clearly demonstrating that we weren't welcome. Before we finished our drink, they put up a reserved sign, leaving us no room to think about ordering food.
