Local bonito, agradable y acogedor. Personal atento, materia prima de calidad y cantidad acorde a su precio. Tienen variedad de pinchos y comedor con menú. Las patatas bravas muy buenas, pero las croquetas también se merecen un premio, cremosas , rebozado perfecto y muy sabrosas.
Comimos menú, éramos 6, el trato genial, el ambiente super bien, la comida muy rica, lo único el entrecot algo duro,y las patatas a la importancia sabían demasiado a Avecrem. Por lo demás, genial, de postre nos pusieron 3 variedades, el precio algo caro por la comida del menú, pero no está del todo mal...
Once again, we had a fantastic meal… a set Three Kings' Day menu with three amazing starters per person… it's so nice to eat something different and well-prepared… two dishes to share: a smoked fish salad and potatoes with baby squid… both spectacular… and for my main course, I ordered venison tenderloin… delicious and, once again, something different. It was my first time eating it, and I loved it… dessert was a huge roscón (a ring-shaped cake) (enough for three), but that's better 😁. It was a pleasure once again to eat at El Maño; for quality and price, it's the best restaurant in Palencia.
First, I must highlight the owner, Alberto, who was very friendly from the start. The bar/restaurant seems informal but is also top-notch, thanks to its menu and à la carte options in the dining room, as well as the variety of tapas at the bar, which I was eager to try. Today, two of us ate here, and I want to emphasize the kindness and professionalism of our waitress, Carmen, who explained the different dishes on the daily menu in detail. Finally, I must congratulate the kitchen staff on the delicious and high-quality food. I've eaten here several times now, and I'll be back as soon as I can. Sincerely, Carlos. It's a shame I can't give it more stars. We went for our typical company Christmas dinner. The set menu was €45, but it couldn't have been more incredible. Everything was delicious. We had let them know that one of our guests was vegan, and they adapted their menu. Also, one of the diners didn't eat pork, and when they found out (we hadn't mentioned it), they brought another dish to compensate for not having any Iberian ham. The food was spectacular, and the service was amazing... the waitress was so friendly, don't miss out because everything was truly a 10/10. She was incredibly attentive and very kind. This place will be my first choice whenever someone suggests organizing a lunch or dinner in Palencia. Congratulations, guys, it's worth every penny of the menu.
We went for lunch with our one-year-old and it was great! We ordered the set menu. Everything was delicious, especially the vegetable stew and the cod with mushroom sauce. Thanks to Carmen for her wonderful service and for making room for our reservation. 100% recommended!

A meal for four, very well served and served. We really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, with a well-balanced daily menu, commensurate with its price of €24. The stuffed peppers were very good, and the chicken escalope was well cooked and presented. The desserts were also very good and homemade. A good place to return. Important: the restaurant is in a basement, accessible by a 10-step walk.
We arrived an hour late because of a mishap on the way, and they kept our table for us the whole time. The manager, or owner, was very kind to us. Everything was delicious, thank you for everything.

A centrally located spot in Palencia where you can sit down for a meal or share some tapas. It has a great atmosphere on weekends with locals. You absolutely must try the patatas bravas. They're fantastic. The service is attentive and fast. Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations.

We booked a set menu dinner, which turned out to be a great choice. The price was very good for the quantity and quality of the food we were offered. Everything was delicious! The restaurant staff was a model of customer service, always attentive, welcoming, and very attentive. We will definitely be back. I'm sharing photos of the starters and dessert, because the main courses didn't last even a second to photograph.

Menú diario interesante. Calidad a precio correcto. Raciones abundantes. Servicio esmerado y simpático. Requiere una reformita, los asos mas. Estratégico.
El menú del día es bueno y suficientemente variado. Cantidades generosas y buen sabor. La lasaña de carrilleras es probablemente el mejor plato de los que probé, el pescado del día y el pollo más normales pero igualmente buenos. El pequeño salón en el sótano es acogedor y coqueto, aunque tuvimos la mala suerte de coincidir con un grupo grande de mujeres que hicieron la comida incómoda y poco tranquila (está claro que hablar bajo por respeto al resto de comensales no es una costumbre arraigada). Precio correcto (24€ por persona), quizás algo elevado para la zona pero al menos sales bien comido. Me habría gustado probar el tapeo de la barra en la planta superior, se veían platos con buena pinta también.
Buenas raciones (las bravas merecen el premio nacional que tienen! Y las rabas no son como las de Santander pero están ricas). Ambiente agradable en un local de decoración tradicional y apetecible. Se puede entrae con mascota. Para ir muchas veces.
We went for tapas in Palencia and popped into this bar/restaurant, which was quite popular with locals. We ordered the patatas bravas, which are award-winning, potato salad, some Gildas (pickled peppers, anchovies, and olives), and the star of the show: Grandma's black pudding! Absolutely delicious! If you're ever in Palencia, I highly recommend it! The service was quick and friendly.

We were visiting the city and had this establishment as a favorite for its specialties of patatas a la importancia (potatoes) and menestra (menestra), but it was Friday and they weren't available. 🤷🏼♀️ It wasn't the best day. The tapas and beers were very limited, and two miserable croquettes. The service was terrible, clearly demonstrating that we weren't welcome. Before we finished our drink, they put up a reserved sign, leaving us no room to think about ordering food.
