Best burritos in Yucatan! Hands down our favorite spot in Valladolid for a fresh and delicious hand-crafted burrito, creative coffee and other beverages, and wonderful service. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options, and a lovingly curated menu highlighting the freshest local ingredients!
The vegan burrito with cactus might be the best burrito I've ever eaten. There was the perfect mix of vegetables and it was pressed to give a nice texture to the tortilla. The watermelon juice was blended fresh and was deicious. I arrived for a very late lunch so there was noone else eating but the staff were friendly and the restaurants has a very relaxed vibe.
For lunch this was the plan I wanted the ribeye burrito, which they didn’t have that day. Regardless, I was impressed and surprised by how good it was especially since I’m not really a burrito person. The staff was great, and at the time most of the people there were tourists. I finished with a agua de coco, good stuff. The iced coffee that passed me by looked spectacular. But I resisted, maybe next time in another dimension. I was just passing through today. I need to hydrate myself from all the walking in the humid Valladolid noise and some beer later.
We came to Burrito Amor on our last night in Valladolid. We chose it because we are vegan/vegetarian and they seemed to have a lot of well marked vegan and veggie options on their menu. Make sure you walk through and go sit on the back patio if you can, it's a lot nicer than the little sitting room you see from the street and you can see into the kitchen. We shared a horchata (delicious) and then my wife had the ginger noodle bowl and I had the vegetarian burrito. The burrito comes wrapped in a banana leaf which is a nice touch and it tasted fantastic. My wife said the noodles were also great. The service was very good and there was even a musician setting up as we were leaving. If we were in Valladolid any longer we would have definitely come back.
One of the few gluten-free paradise places in Yucatán! We have eaten there in Valladolid and also in Tulum and both experiences have been amazing. After 5 weeks in Yucatán as a veg. Celiac - I know it’s extremely rare to find a place where the signs in the menu as well as the staff‘s knowledge about gluten are so good… the banana taco, the waffles, the rice noodles, the bowls, the avocado sandwich… delicious! Also the atmosphere of the place in Valladolid is extremely sweet - with their own little art market inside and an open kitchen with super sweet staff! Thank you ❤️
This is a 10/10 place! Everything was delicious! The banana bread and the churros were gluten free and sooo tasty. Burritos totally suggested and the Caesar so yummy! Such a nice place! For all those who were a little bit disappointed with the Valladolid food generally , this will be your heaven❤️
This was our first stop in Valladolid because we saw that they offered gluten free churros and I have Celiac's disease. Turns out they also have coconut tortillas for their burritos (GF and incredibly delicious) so there were tons of options. We were BLOWN AWAY by the service, the food, the coffee, and the juices (try the jugo de sandía!). We're now three days in and have gone three times. The food was a much needed change of pace from the other (also delicious!) food we've had in Yucatán--so clean and fresh that you're rejuvenated and ready to take on the city. The atmosphere is great too--the back area by the kitchen is cool even in the heat of the day and the art hanging everywhere is local and adds to the feeling of being in a chic coffee/dinner place while maintaining the unique Valladolid feel. The workers are always very patient with our middling Spanish and always ready to serve yet never obtrusive. All of this at a price that beats any other "high end" place in town. We've paid more for disappointing food at more tourist-y places in town and have just decided we're better off sticking to the small shops on the outskirts and this place when in city proper. You leave feeling glad you came, and ready to return (we'll be back tomorrow)

The burritos were very nice! However the prices were more fitted for holiday goers rather than backpackers like us. It has a very nice vibe here and the staff were polite enough, if you’re okay spending £10 a burrito this is the place to go!
Food is delicious! 🤤 However, the portions are a smaller than I would have wanted. I had a vegan burrito and I could have easily eaten three. Great service and vibe. I would definitely go again but I will make at least a double order or go when I just want a snack.
I visited this spot with a friend, and we both ordered the chicken burrito but as a bowl instead. We also shared a side of guacamole and some ginger tea. The guacamole was incredibly fresh and flavorful, paired with light, crisp tortilla chips. The presentation of the food was thoughtful and beautifully done, and the service was excellent! The bowl itself was a bit plain for my taste, but still enjoyable. We paid 169 pesos for each bowl and 159 pesos for the guacamole. I love that they also offer unsweetened horchata and agua de Jamaica, and the menu in general seems to have plenty of fresh, healthy and plant-based options, which is fantastic. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with music at just the right volume for conversation. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of the city. I also appreciated the small shop inside, filled with beautiful art and aesthetic postcards—a lovely touch that makes the place feel even more special.

We had the rib-eye burrito, a chicken bowl, and green juice. The food tasted good, but the portions were quite small. Unfortunately, the rib-eye was cooked well-done, even though I usually prefer it medium — they didn’t ask for my preference this time, and it came out a bit overcooked. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, but given the small portions, we left still feeling a bit hungry.
