I came here because of an invite from my cousin. I was not feeling well so I decided to go with an hamburger and fries. It was great. My cousin had the walnut salad. The view is incredible. The ferry that leaves from the bay has happy hour. The restaurant has beer on tap and wine. The place is noisy and the music is too loud for my taste. But I was not feeling great.

Great service and great brews! If that weren't all that a place needs then it had the perfect atmosphere to compliment the marina locale and vibe as well...I love that they kept so much of the original building and it's history as a part of the character for each type of brew they offer. Although the food menu isn't extensive, it's clear they have a top notch chef making the most of thier kitchen...the food is an affordable treat and presented with love for taste. Light ales, dessert heavy stouts, and a few more great brews in between...I come here everytime I visit, and don't forgive yourself if you don't.

Service is Awesome! Fast and Friendly. Been living here my whole life and finally got a chance to come here. The beers are good. I suggest trying the beer flights first before going for a full glass. The IPA is my favorite. The atmosphere of the place is great plus a great view of the waterfront depending on where you sit. Highly recommended this place and will be coming back.

Excellent food and service. Nice place to hang out with family and friends. You order from the bar but sometimes the bar is full so it's kind of awkward to figure where to squeeze in. It would be better if they have a section of the bar where you can order and it's not blocked. Food is good. The MIBC is cooked medium and it's juicy.

Great view of the water and a relaxed atmosphere. We were glad to find a new place in desolate Vallejo. We had the burger, a saison beer and Cluckers for the kid which were all tasty. Considering they have no table service and no clean tables, it makes me wonder (and smh) at their high pre-set tips when you check out.

I’ve been visiting Mare Island Brewing’s Ferry Taproom since it first opened and have always appreciated the great beer, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s been one of my favorite stops whenever I’m back in town for the holidays. During my recent visit, however, I witnessed something disappointing. Near closing time (8 PM), a patron who came in with a friend politely asked for another drink and was told by the bartender, Michelle, that service had stopped for the night. That would have made sense, except after they left, I saw other guests continuing to be served well past 8 PM. The inconsistency was noticeable and came across as selective, possibly even discriminatory - these women were African American and the other guests were not. The guests who remained appeared to be regulars or football fans watching the game, and I even saw a few new people join existing groups and successfully order beers of their own. It was disheartening to see this happen at a place that has always represented community and hospitality to me. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so that every guest feels equally welcome and respected.

***There are ants everywhere. Sat near the window Jennifer R has the worse attitude for customer service especially for the bar industry, super condescending. I was happy to wait seeing it was bit packed but once it was my turn she still kept the negative attitude she gave the lady ahead of me. I thought new person maybe new attitude but no she carries customer issues onto the next. Then she made a mistake with my tab. I was confused and went up to ask and the guy was helpful then I realized I made a mistake with what was charged and what got returned to me but she still wanted to be an ass and pointed out that I’m wrong even though I was just confused why my bank statement was charged twice. Maybe she was stressed but her attitude compared to others was not welcoming. Please check your bank statement and definitely ask for the receipt, since that option isn’t given to you.

Fun place, great location. Recently they changed their menu and removed the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve been coming here for years, but unfortunately the heart break of losing the best sandwich ever will have to end my attendance to this local gem within Vallejo’s ugly community. I hope this item can be bright back in the near future.

I've tried to give this place business more than once since it never seems to have any... but the reasons why the place is always empty are pretty obvious and consistent, besides the ownership not giving a hoot, nothing good on the menu. I realize the happy hour beer I was drinking, only bear on the happy hour menu was non-alcoholic and for a tap room that sports multiple TVs they never seem to work... Though they were working a couple days ago I think people are just selfish around here and only want their game on...
