Store is small but nice presentation. No tables for sitting. I arrived shortly after lunch and impressed with the taste. Our last visit only my sons went in and they walked out with a smile. We’ve returned several times, we just can’t get enough!

I Took these to work today. Everyone that tried one including myself all agreed it was the best donut we had ever tried. 15/10 recommend!

Hands down BEST donuts ever! The Horchata has been my fave so far, but we also loved the Reese’s donut with peanut butter inside. Mmmmmm! Their donuts are so fresh, airy, with just the right amount of sweet, and oh so fancy! The staff provided great service and the owners are amazing people also!

Okay so if you haven't tried these Donuts !! Do yourself a favor and GO try them! There are so many choices to choose from and they are the softest, fluffiest, most delicious Donuts I have ever tried!!! Seriously and they are still fresh and just as amazing the next day!! I am so happy we were finally able to stop by this morning. It is not a stretch to say Bakersfield Donut, Co is the best donut shop in town. The donuts had a wonderful texture. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They have a wide variety of unique flavors like Matcha, Coffee, strawberry cheesecake, etc. The donuts were beautiful; you can tell a lot of care went into making them. The shop is cute and the family that runs it is very sweet. Can't wait for our next visit!

Love to visit Christian-owned businesses and as soon as I walked in the door, the vibe was on point. The owner is super nice, and there were so many great looking donuts I could hardly choose. I settled on the blueberry crumb and the peanut butter cup peanut butter filled. Excellent place, will definitely come back!

We recently moved to Bakersfield and have been looking for good restaurants including doughnut shops. We had patronized a few already when we discovered this one. From our very first visit, every single employee as demonstrated excellent customer service skills! The doughnuts are delicious and fresh! The place is clean with a fun atmosphere, having a wall display of doughnuts. We have found our #1 doughnut shop.

I am a big fan of crumble donuts and this place holds my standards very high. The atmosphere was clean, service was friendly and the variety of other donuts besides crumble were outstanding! I love their donut wall as well since it's very "instaworthy". I found this location through Instagram and had let them know, which they were happy to hear about. It's definitely a recommendation if you're looking for new flavors in donuts or are looking for a local donut shop to support.

I don't know why people leave bad reviews like how kids are just kids yes they are but there are two stories and I know these family-owned Business shops, control your kids don't just make a bad review because your kids were bad, The strawberry shortcake is super good, I went through all these bad reviews these are not true they are made on the spot that hits they are freshly made in the mornings and tases the best And maybe yes, the croissants may have jalapeño, but it says it in the names so don’t just say oh, the jalapeños were hot for my little children yes because the jalapeños! But This family-owned restaurant is the best freshly made in the mornings and is super kind. They talk to you nicely They give you smiles! :))

I got word from my brother about this place through a instagram post about the a lady from LA who drove up there to see what it was about. Since I was up there for the Bakersfield marathon weekend I decided on my way home I would stop by and I was very impressed with their selection of donuts. They were well worth the price and visit very friendly staff and Chelsea was very helpful with my experience. I live in Ventura County and glad I stopped by and got more then a dozen for my family definitely will go again.

For its size, the price is unbelievable at only $10.00, which makes it a fantastic deal. Before ordering, I called around to several places in Bakersfield, and no one else makes a donut like this,it’s truly one of a kind. On top of that, we received excellent customer service from the owner. I didn’t catch his name, but he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. What made it even better was seeing how much the birthday girl loved it, it was the highlight of the celebration and such a fun, delicious treat to share. Highly recommend The Texas if you’re looking for something unique, tasty, and affordable for any occasion!

If you miss Randy’s maple bacon bar, check their maple bacon pretzel out! Only one complaint, they need to order regular whole milk, this organic stuff aint it.

If you sport local, this is one donut shop that you should add to your list! Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, soft and delicious! I’ve stopped by for a dozen to bring to work and my coworkers are always delighted! Definitely worth a try, or several.

This was my first time to Bakersfield Donut Company. I ordered a Bavarian cream, a bear claw and a speciality donut called a cherry butterfly. All were really good. Not too sweet with just a slight chew to them. I will definitely be going back. There were many more specialty donuts I want to try.

Neat shop! Lots of specialty donuts to choose from. However, a bit pricy. Paid $6 for 3 donuts. Strawberry shortcake was good. Chocolate bar and maple bar were dry. Went early enough in the morning where they should have been fresh. Tasted day old. The Foster’s across the street has fresher donuts, for cheaper.

1st time customers, was no line customer in front of us was also a new customer from the questions, once we were ready to order staff member was short in regards to questions about specialty donuts. We purchased a dozen of mixed of regular & "specialty" price seemed fair to modern day cost. Unfortunately the donuts seemed to dense, not risen properly or maybe sat for a while since we visited Sunday afternoon Either way it may be option if you are in area and in need of pastries.

The horchata donut was very soft and tasty, but the rest was ok. The donut I really came for though is the strawberry one that everyone was talking about and my fave, the maple bar. The maple bar was too dense and heavy, and the taste just wasn't there. The strawberry was a let down. Overall, I'd still recommend this place because they have a lot of unique variety of donuts and the croissants are very good. The place has a nice decor and friendly staffing. Some will say a bit pricey, but the price is more than fair. I give them a 3/5 ⭐️. Some of the donuts need to lighten up, they're too dense. Will be back to try the other flavors soon. Hopefully the 2nd time around will be a better experience.

The donuts are mid they aren’t soft and fluffy the chocolate donut is overly sweet why dip a glazed donut in chocolate The cinnamon roll doesn’t have a cinnamon taste to it. Today 7/11/24 was my first visit to this shop. It looks like a donut shop, clean and friendly employee. Unfortunately the donut I ate , I forced myself to finish eating. Trust me I love donuts but i can't explain the donut looking bread I ate. It's a shame but I'm sorry to say I will be going somewhere else for donuts.

We decided to give this new spot a try. We ordered a dozen mixed donuts and were happy with those. We also ordered a turkey and cheese croissant for my 8 years old. We got to the car and my daughter starts eating her croissant. She complains it's spicy. I looked at it and it had jalapeños in it. My husband said he would go back in to get it corrected and replaced. The girl at the front didn't apologize for her mistake and her excuse was that it's hard to tell which is which since they are all put together in one area. Thats fine and I understand people make mistakes but we didn't get an apology for her mistake and to top it all off, she charged my husband for the replacement. My husband only paid because he's a nice guy and wanted to get our daughter her croissant. If I went in instead, it would have been a different situation. It is not right to charge a customer for the shop's mistake. Do better! Fix this so it won't happen again. Very disappointed for not making it right due to their mistake.

Used to love these donuts but for a couple weeks now whenever I’ve gotten some donuts they taste like the frosting was dipped in acetone. I don’t know if it’s bad ingredients or just not rinsing off their equipment well after cleaning.

Fui por un par de donas ya que mi hija queria pero al principio todo bien entramos y en la pared tienen como muchas donas a los niños les llama la atencion mi hija fue a ver y dijo el que nos atendio no puedes tocarlas se van a caer y entonces dije para que ponen algo en la pared en toda hasta abajo y van estar con cosas mejor ponganlas bien arriba que no esten al alcance de los niños o no pongan nada mas si las ponen en el lado de la recepcion para que asi que mejor pase a retirarme sin comprar lo que habia pedido las donas estan bien pero su servicio y actitud No.

We were really excited to try out this local donut shop. As we walked into the the donut shop you're greeted by a wall with donut from ceiling to floor and our 2 little kids got curious and excited to see so many donuts on a wall and touched them with their finger tips when from behind the counter the employee started yelling to NOT TOUCH THE DONUTS! If you're so worried about your donuts getting damaged or stolen, a good idea would be to put them behind the counter or place a no children allowed! At this point, it is better to buy at other local donut shops that are more welcoming to customers.

Really disappointed with the employee that was there today (tall girl) I go multiple times a week because my son LOVES the donuts from here. The girl that was there (which I had NEVER seen before) yelled at him for going near the donut wall yelling “DONT TOUCH THE DONUTS!” There is ways to talk to people but yelling at someone else’s child is NEVER OK! My son hadn’t even touched the donuts. It took everything in me to not tell her something right then and there. My brothers where craving donuts so I want to try the new place. But it was really really disappointed with the customer service more with the employee that was there today. The lady that was there yelled at my brother for going to the donut wall “DONT TOUCH THE DONUTS WALL!” The was not the ways to talk to a boy there is nice way to ask or said it but yelling at someone else’s kid. We where existed to have a closer donut shop but WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. The employee make the shop look bad.

I ordered a ham n cheese croissant, it was terrible! Croissant itself was just dry and bland, there was one piece of the thinnest slice of deli ham you can get lol and I couldn’t even see cheese I could taste it but barely. Needless to say I didn’t finish it and wasted $5.00

My husband and I drove across town just to go to this donut shop. We were regretfully let down. We bought a dozen of what tasted like day old donuts. We threw away both of the chocolate cake donuts. They were very hard. The maple bars and iced donuts tasted stale and thought we could smell old grease. The girl that was behind the counter was nice and friendly. However, if it were me, I would have been honest about when the donuts were made considering we spent $23.99 on a dozen.
