I love the carne asada tacos from here. I also like that they give me a half order of rice & beans in a cup instead of having to pay for one of each.

The food is soooooooo good love the shrimp burritos and tacos i added a little cheese and beans an peppers...bomb!! The carne asada burritos are fire to i added avocado cheese and hot peppers wio wee so very good...

I went to buy? Mexican rice I always go there because it tastes. Like my mother? Use to make it all the time.

I had a very good experience with this Last Villa... The way I ask for my food, was how they made it... They hooked up my food with all meat dew to me not wanting beans and rice... Thanks to the team !

Very clean place, I was surprised this is the first tacos la villa that I go to and it’s very clean, the only thing I didn’t like is the service, the staff is to busy talking to other staff, instead of welcoming the customers 🤔

This was my first time there and I loved it. The food was excellent and the prices are suprisingly good. The lady at the e through was super friendly. They loaded us up on condiments, salsa, and lemons....no extra charge like every where else.

The food here is consistently delicious. We eat here often and have never been disappointed by any of the food options. We usually go through the drive-thru so I cant comment much on the inside. Prices are fair with inflation. I highly recommend the tostada de mixta....so yummy!

20 year customer here, beware of fake la villas popping up all over with less than par food. This is the original and best, Chile and food always on point and we'll worth the wait.

We loved it it was very fast the restaurant was very clean we got a burrito and torta the carne asada was a little crispy and it was a little spicy but if that's how you like it it was great I just can't handle spicy stuff so I will be sure to tell them next time hold the spicy LOL but it was still great food that taught there was off the hook

I came here with my wife and order some tostadas. I only like my tostadas a certain way and they repeated my order twice and made sure it was accurate. 5 stars food was amazing.

I have been their UBER PICK UP FOR MONTHS but on April 24th 2020 my grand Daughter and I went here to purchase a huge meal for our firefighters and first responders at station 3 palm and real rd and surprised the firefighters with dinner for 20. Taco La Villa was on it the good was prepared quickly efficiently and awesomely packaged for delivery on the spot tyvm. I will send videos z's soon as I figure out how to do that. Ok so I don't know why but I can't post the videos man I should have taken pics

My favorite location in town! Best grilled shrimp burrito and to make it even better add chicken!!! Oh my! It is heaven!!!! The folks here are super friendly and love their customers' service!! The other locations, I have tried other locations all around town but this location is definitely the BEST!!

Had this place two times now. Got the steak burrito huge burrito for the price tasted amazing every single bite. I felt more in love with this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and the service is extremely fast 10 out of 10 bring the family.

Been going to this location for years everytime I go the food is amazing but the customer service from everyone is even better. Even if I had a bad experience which in my time I can only remember once maybe twice they have always made it right and look care of me. This is the only place in town I will order carne asada. I dont get it anywhere else I usually get other meats because not everyone can make carne asada good but this location definitely knows how to. Thank you for always taking care of me when I go and I will continue going to this location

Not a menu that had too many things, to confuse you with or make you indecisive but just enough just what's on the board and sometimes a special or something. Recently they added chili rellenos which is one of my favorite dishes. But yeah their food's good and I can't wait till I do try that new item.

They're torta is fire it's not all that bread that you're used to it is so good I come here all the time and their customer service is great they don't discriminate they don't charge you for using your card and I believe they deserve a tip every time I go I also eat their quesadillas it is really good

I like these places. Some are better than others. Actually the ones in the worst part of town serve the best food. Go figure.

Ordered 1 Chili Verde burrito and 3 Asada Tacos for my hubby. A little to spicy for his taste, but I liked them. Didn't take any pics, but the burrito was huge!

Bakersfield has many La Villa and each one is different. This one, while clean and well kept, seems like a crappier version of other locations. Prices are affordable as at any of the other locations and the staff is friendly. This locations offers hot cheeto items does not push them on the menu as other locations.

Love it but the price raised by a ton because I recently bought a large quesadillas with meat for 8$ but got charged nine 💲 and 50 cents just for something that doesn't have much if it was tge hat chetto burrito it would have been fine but 9 dollar s for four pieces of quesadillas with a small salad and a tiny bit of rice and beans is not a good deal.

Fast and friendly. There food is outstanding. They have a wide range of items to order. Fairly cheap as well. It won't cost you a whole lot of money.

Food was good staff was friendly drive thru took a little longer than expected. Prices just got raised on their burritos and tortas which is why I docked them a star for value.

Food is good but to lonely. Girls give you too little packages of condiments. I have to ask for like 2or 3 times. I will still go but I jus eat and leave so fast.

Went for taco Tuesday for $1.25 tacos, since inflation is kicking my butt. Friendly staff inside took my order and food came out approximately 15 minutes later. They were busy with the many drive thru folks. Food was hot and I was informed of additional condiments, ie pickled onions & jalapeños, cilantro, lemons if interested. Interior was clean but dreary. Nevertheless I would return for the food & service. Staff is consistently friendly at this location.

They didn't make my burritos the way i ordered them charged me for cheese and didnt put it in my burritos, this happens every other time i come here get it right guys..

I had 3 asada tacos and a burrito. Nothing makes them better than any other Mexican place in town. There's certainly better tacos out there. Having said that, the restaurant looks bad, front door broken and dirty. Not a good first impression when you walk in.

Their food has always been very flavorful but this past year the food has been lacking and just hasn't been the same the past few times I've gone. I keep going back to see if maybe it's just that specific day, but no, it's been constant. Not sure I'll keep going back. Not to mention their prices are not worth the quality of food.

1st off this is our go to taco lovation! Plenty of La Villa taco stands in town, but this location has their special asada seasoning! That i preffer! & they actually make the “carne DORADA” like i request everytime! N their assda meat choice is tender! N not just the guey gross, parts! Its actually meat! Their beans and rice taste just like my moms! Love it! The one dissapointment is…we order frequently, n i order my asada tacos, now idk what is goings on? But the skimp on the onion cilantro topping! N i ask con todo, salsa on the side…idk why, but that has to be fixed, the taco prices, have gone up. So we should be getting our moneys worth please. Anyways, i will still remain a loyal customer due to your seasoning. Thanks. Oh & their red salsa is very spicy! Green one isnt as spicy! Love them both! Photo added is from last night order, i asked for everything only salsa on the side, n no the place was not busy.

During lunch rush on Saturday, the food was cold, since adding new orders to the menu, the food is lacking that special TLC, we used to get. I think the prices have also increased a bit much, too.

I used to really enjoy it here, but the past two times they’ve messed up our orders so badly I can’t really imagine going back. First time, they didn’t give me my burrito but instead just gave me one small taco, and it took 25 minutes to get it fixed. This time we ordered through Uber eats, and half of our order didn’t even arrive! I have worked in food before but I can’t understand how someone could blunder that badly. Really bad experiences so far, probably won’t be returning.

The drive thru is unpredictable,i once went with 2-3 cars in front of me got my order in less than 15min. And another time same scenario 40 min. Besides that food is ok if your as long as you get the right order.

Food grate. Bad customer service. The two same woman. I visit oct 17 2019 at 6:50pm. Me and my husband come all the time and they're always rude. They'll walk right pass you ignore you. Never wanted to rate bad of this place. Just sick of the rudeness to me and my husband.

Taco Villa was a huge disappointment. Right to the point, bland food, no salsa offerings unless one pays an additional fee, and the service has lost its desire to serve people. The kicker, a taco that was made with all onions!!! Just a few pieces of meat. Seriously I was insulted. Order at your own risk. Until managers retrain their crew I wouldn't recommend this taco hut, not if you want to keep your friends. This particular Villa taco on chester ave & 8 th.

Loved it the breakfast burrito I had was the asada and egg. The last burrito I had, it had a couple egg shells in it. Today 12/30/2025 I observed the cook and who was also the guy making prepping the orders, no wear any gloves. He was touching everything with his Bare hands like the tortillas, jalapenos, chips. Like is it so hard to put gloves on and not make everyone sick because you don't like to wear gloves. I just found hair in my food. This why a hair net and gloves are important. They won't refund my money. Never ever going back there

Comon guys, we ordered all meat burritos and they look like kid burritos and you charged us a ton. Portions are terrible.

They have a female that answers for the drive true she does not speak a word of English she always screws up the orders the food is average they do give you plenty of meat on every order but i will give 1 star due to that female that doesn't speak English and screws the orders all the time.

Just came with my girlfriend to get tacos. The employees were handling the food with dirty hands and no gloves, thinking nobody would see through the salad bar, apparently.

Visiting from out of town and by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I got carne asada nachos and didnt kow if it was carne asada or dog meat. Disappointing is an understatement

Service is good' but I ordered a torta plain and they put everything on there ' the salsa on there was really spicy even though we tried to take off everything it was still spicy and difficult to eat' I was very disappointed

The street tacos are so gross😭 they aren’t made fresh to order and it’s very obvious 😒 the celantro and onion looks all welted and the tortillas are soggy y’all 😭😭😭 tried giving them 3 chances and each time was the same. Soggy and old.

I loved this place. I usually order 10 tacos today I only felt like 8 tacos, I almost finish the 1st one, I got a hair in my mouth. After I looked over my remaing tacos I found another hair that turned my stomach, found 2 hairs in my tacos.

Thank you for not apologizing for having us wait more than 20 minutes for our order. The person I’m front of us MUST have just ordered every possible thing on the menu. Thank you also for not acknowledging the fact you took a long time and for bringing your head cashier to just simply say “you ordered a carne asada torta, sope de asada and 3 tacos de asada. That will be $17” and I can’t give you a discount. And Yesss we took our business elsewhere.

I would give a 5 star because I love their food, but the one thing I hate about it here is they never admit to their mistakes when they forget something. It's happened plenty of times so now I'm finally leaving a review I ordered on Uber eats because I didn't feel like cooking so they forgot my burritos I call them and they say "we can't do nothing but check the camera we can't replace your food item because I remember placing everything in the bag so your Uber driver took your food" I laughed so hard because the damn bag was tied together what a sticker around the knot and it was stapled too lmao really the uber driver took it admit your mistakes it happens! Stop blaming others!!!

I NOTED in the Uber Eats how I wanted my tacos. I Also called the restaurant and verbably told the. The person on the phone acknoledged he saw my instructions on app and guaranteed they would be followed. The Order was no where near what I askes for, plus they were bathed in very hot spicyvsalsa which I Did notborder! This restaurant IS NO GOOD!

I am with the girl who commented two hours before me. The nighttime lady is super rude and will curse at you and be extremely violent. Just because we were a customer does not mean we don’t work when we’re not there I know how customer service is and she needs to reevaluate her life or profession

Got a chorizo breakfast burrito, the chorizo looked like bubblegum, half way through I started plucking out the massive chunks of pink meat and eating the rice, beans, potatoes, eggs and onion part of it. It should be renamed the chorroizo burrito.

I called about five times trying to ascertain their hours. I received a range of responses from no answer with their phone ringing indefinitely, to an answering machine, to the woman who finally answered the phone hanging up on me after my asking the straight forward question "Are you guys open 24 hours?" I attempted to contact them again and was met with the same first two responses. Needless to say, I will not be showing up in person, and will instead be patronizing their competitor, where the staff is not unappetizingly rude.

This was, believe it or not, one of my favorite culinary eateries in Bakersfield; until I walked in! I've often wondered how a woke could look a Patton in the eye accept their money(same price as anyone else) and then serve them inedible food

Good food but takes too long...I waited 40 mins inside for 4 crane asada tacos with cheese only..smh..the other la villas on union Avenue and Niles st are way faster...had to come to this one because it was on the way to my job...never again

I've been to this place many,many times. It has gotten worse but this last time was the last. Food was so poor of quality that all the hot sauce they put on it didn't help. And so much grease I could feel it hardening my arteries. The horchata tasted like weak cinnamon powdered water. Final thought. Your really taking your chances if you choose this place over ANY other taco joint in this town. Strongly 2 thumbs down.

The food is nasty, does not taste like pastor and the asada is so dry and fatty. My son started choking on the asada tacos, and refused to finish them. After 1 hour from eating from there, we all started getting sick. I feel really bad for my son. He is only 6 yrs old. I don’t like to write bad reviews, but I don’t want people getting sick either. Just thought I’d let you all know.

Can we give lower than a rating of 1 ? The breakfast burritos were not fit to eat and cost way too much. The bacon was not cooked. The tortilla was greasy and the potatoes were too greasy to eat. We did not eat any of it , never again!

I order the same tripa tacos (doradas) and fries i have ordered since first moving here two years ago. Best fries and tripa tacos ever! Until this day... they changed their fries, they now look & taste like any other fries from any other burger spot. And their tripa tacos were BEYOND BURNT. I go back to have them remade and the lady at the counter goes "oh' it's because you ordered then dorada"... I'm like, "I've always ordered them dorada, never have i recieved BURNT tacos." She ignores her daughter's suggestion to JUST MAKE HIM NEW TACOS and offered a refund. Two things I would never recommend anyone do in customer service... 1) Blame the customer 2) Let the customer leave with the money. Always push an exchange. NEVER start with an offer of a refund. I wanted my tacos replaced but with her blaming me for her cook's burnt food and then NOT offering to replace those BURNT tacos... i did not feel welcomed. I won't be coming back.

Last night I made an order for pick up spent $20 for a burrito & 4 tacos I asked for condiments on the phone specifically since my husband was picking it up so I cld b sure to get things how I liked them not only did they not have it ready I didn't get any condiments like I specifically asked for & the meat tasted old & greasy! When I tried to call I got no answer I guess I was the last customer. It was only $20 but I work for my money tho & I make sure I do my job good. Hire some better help that can take an over the phone order, it's not a hard job!

Went by today Worst service ever. Never again will I come to this location. The lady was too busy talking to some employee instead of taking my payment. Never greeted me at all. After that I told her I wanted everything on the side and said Okay. Another employee gave me my food and closed the window And they never gave me the sides I wanted and napkins A guy then approached me and handed me the sides. I only had 4 tacos and he gave me sides for like 20 Tacos. These people need to get retrained and be polite Never again Worst place ever.

Ordered 9 tacos. $20 bucks. Each taco was one bite. I'm 5'8". My mouth isn't big enough to justify "one bite tacos". I was still hungry after. Also, careful not to order too many items at once... They prepare each item, main dish, side orders and tacos ONE-by-ONE. With just one cook. How else can you explain waiting in the drive through for 30 mins?

I was afraid to ask for anything else for fear of irrelevant charges or whatever. It’s sad that they do that . I will never buy from there again based on this practice of no bathrooms , it could have been different like I go in to use the restroom and find a great restroom but because of this introduction I’m done

I didn't even order anything, a friend of mine did. He ate it but he said it didn't taste good, couple hours later he felt sick. I stopped there once so my son could use the restroom, but they wouldn't let him until he buys something. It's their policy. That's crazy.
