Absolutely delicious! This Halal Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We tried the singapore noodles, sesame chicken, fried rice, and bubble tea— all were amazing! The portions are very generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick. It's hard to find good Halal Chinese food, but this place nails it. It's my first time at this location and first time having halal Chinese food. The food tasted GREAT! I got shrimp and broccoli combination plate, the shrimp tasted fresh (not like some places where the shrimp has a fishy taste, mushy texture and/or don't clean out the poop well). Broccoli looked and tasted fresh (not pale or weird tasting). Rice was very good, I normally get pork fried rice, so this place being halal I was missing the pork but otherwise the rice was done very well, great texture and flavor. The egg roll was a chicken egg roll and in my opinion tasted way better than a pork egg roll. I will definitely eat here again if I working in the area again!

Food was amazing and a lot. I ordered the lunch special and it came with enough food in one plate for lunch AND dinner. It was great although if you want to do it better ask for some hot oil on your food and it would just be great

Tried a new halal Chinese spot in Valley Stream and it did not disappoint! The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. Such a cute little place and a great option for halal Chinese in Valley Stream!

Best halal Chinese food around Long Island. Their lunch specials offer verity options with different types of fried rice and choices of soups. My favorite is Beef Pepper Steak (best in the town). I highly recommend it.

They make the BEST sweet and sour soup that I have ever had. A large is only $4.15! I ask for tofu instead of pork; the broth has the perfect amount of spicy heat, and the two types of mushrooms are fantastic. I don't live in Valley Stream anymore, but I make a point to go there when visiting. The shrimp lo mein and crispy shrimp egg rolls are delicious. Looks like a hole in the wall, but the owner/chef is so friendly that I enjoy placing my order and waiting there while listening to the sounds of superb cooking.

Food was bad year ago but now it’s good. They improved significantly in a year. I tried their Singaporean noodles with chicken wings, house special fried rice are good.

It feels like they skimp on the meat for chicken with broccoli and other dishes but it’s still good would rather get my money’s worth tho

Decent Chinese Food Place. Food is genuinely solid but the servings of meat is so scarce. They give you a few slivers of beef in your fried rice regardless if you get the extra beef. I also got the shrimp fried rice which had the most miniature shrimp you can imagine. I been getting food from here often since they don’t have anywhere else locally with ok halal Chinese food. They leave my white rice out often and forget my food completely regardless when I order it and make mistakes constantly with my orders. I called and ordered from the restaurant at 8:18pm, we received the order after 10:30pm. I live less than 10 minutes away to give you an idea of how long the wait was. The restaurant did not pick up any of my calls and the driver assigned to me said the restaurant kept saying 15 more minutes when he asked how much longer. They forgot my drink and the food was not good at all. Chicken with broccoli was very watery, eggplant was weirdly sweet, lo mein had no flavor and chicken wings were not crispy or tasty at all.

They’re freaking gross 🤢 I ordered chicken wings & broccoli in garlic sauce with vegetable fried rice. The rice was brown not pleasing to look at like some other kind of made up brown anyway the chicken was fried hard. The bone was black, now I ever seen that I mean ! Black ! Inside the chicken was yellow. Chicken fried hard just ewwww. Then they volunteered DoorDash services waited for 2 hrs chicken wings cold & nasty

Called in an order for Boneless Ribs and I was told they were out of pork so I ordered something else. I go pick up my order and see the signs that they are now Halal and will no longer sell pork. So basically you lied to me because if you told the truth I would have gone somewhere else for the ribs and you didn't want to lose a sale. You're not losing me as a customer because you're Halal you are losing me because you lied. I hate liers!

Main takeaway: The cook spit phlegm/saliva/mucus across the cooktop into the garbage can next to where the food is made. The owner has changed. The friendly older woman who would pick up the phone and the older men who used to cook the food have retired, I suppose. The new management is not good. I called to order the general tso cauliflower, and the new team had no idea what I was talking about, and instead of just sharing that the management and menu had changed, they just continued to say they didn't know what I was talking about. I went into the store to order thinking I'd called the wrong number and realized that the management must have changed. I ordered general tso, and it was disgusting. Overly breaded and way too sweet; the sweet breading tasted like a corn dog. The rice was bland and tasteless, and the food was overpriced. While I was leaving I saw one of the men hock a wad of spit into the trash can directly next to the cook space, in full exposure to the food and directly in my line of sight. Not to mention, the restaurant is filthy. I will NEVER eat here again, and I miss the old owner, and the cooks who knew how to make good food, and had a connection with the community. I've been eating there for 20+ years. The new management and staff clearly have no passion for food or care for the community.

The service is horrible. I placed my order for a sesame chicken with fries. Once I received the food, I tried it and it tasted spoiled & rotten. I then proceeded to call customer service and she said to come back to the store so she could put more “sauce”. Im a regular to this place, I came last week and it was fine. Im sincerely disappointed and will never come back. I don’t reccomend this place as the lady on the phone did not assist me whatsoever, she then went to “try” the chicken and she told me it was fine? I mean… I am just offended. $17 plus tax for a container of supposed “rice, beef, and shrimp” that contains not even 3 pieces of beef. In the picture I provided, do you see a piece of meat anywhere other than that sad, pathetic looking piece of shrimp? Now I could rant about this but I don’t want to look like a carnivorous Karen for feeling the need to beg for meat that is supposed to come with the rice. The rice was oily and bland. I tried to fry an egg at home to help but don’t even waste your money. This economic state doesn’t allow mess-ups like the restaurant committed with my order today. I tried to be nice and give it multiple chances but battle my tastebuds had trying to find flavor in the dish was more intense than the Vietnam war. Every spoon I took was just more and more offensive to my mouth. I couldn’t see it through and just gave up. $17+tax for a container of oily, one shrimped, nonexistent beef rice should be a crime itself. I think British tea has more “flavour” than my order. And you know it’s bad when I(a foodie) chooses to eat instant noodles over this disgraceful plate. I have never in my life eaten something that’s made me more hungry than when I started eating until today. The only thing “Golden” about this restaurant is their containers after being loaded up with all that unseasoned oil. Even as I put away the food, it still offends me how my poor mouth had to waste time chewing unsatisfactory, bland food. Maybe chef had a bad day and wanted to pass the negativity through his cooking but, never again.

Very Disappointed – Not as Advertised I ordered from this place on the night of May 25th, and honestly, it was a letdown from start to finish. Here's what I ordered: Chicken Chilli Dry – The name is misleading. What I received was a dish overloaded with onions, grated carrots, and hot peppers. It barely had any chicken, and from the name and menu description, I expected a straightforward dry chicken dish, not a pile of vegetables. Szechuan Chicken – Again, mostly vegetables. It came with tons of broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers, with just a little bit of mushroom and some chicken. Large Fried Vegetable Rice and 4 Large Fried Wings – I was told the wings were $6.99. I also got 2 small containers of white rice. The total? Over $42, and I didn’t even get a proper itemized receipt. Just a final total with no breakdown of what each cost what. For that price, I expected quality and quantity — but instead, it felt like they bulked up the dishes with cheap vegetables & soy sauce and gave very little meat. The fried wings were good but again very little meat on it…the vegetable fried rice was good. This place does not deliver what’s advertised on the menu. It feels like a rip-off, and I won’t be ordering again.

I recently ordered from here and was extremely disappointed to find a cockroach in my food. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant. As a customer, I expect my food to be prepared in a clean environment. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning the quality and safety of the meals being served. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue, as no one should have to encounter such a situation. I won’t be ordering from here again!
