This is one of my favorite restaurants! I ordered their House Special pasta with shrimp and it was amazing, might be the best pasta I've ever had. It was my birthday and they gave me a free slice of carrot cake which was also good. I enjoyed garlic rolls and a Greek salad along with my pasta and only spent $21 plus tip.
I had a beautiful table and a wonderful waitress. My food came out in a timely manner(ribeye rice rolls salad brownie cheesecake) with tip about 50 ended up taking most of it home but it was soooo good. This was my 1st visit but not my last😋🤏🏿‼️
We were in town for a family reunion.we traveled from Florida and stayed at the Hampton inn and the lady that worked the front desk recommended this restaurant and i am glad she did! I would give 10 stars if i could. The waiter was awesome very fast service, the food was awesome for a good price and the peanut butter pie was the best I have ever had.would definitely return to this restaurant.
My daughter bought home leftovers a couple of years ago. The restaurant is over an hour away, but well worth the drive. Me and my granddaughters finished off the lasagna and breadsticks. It was delicious. For a while now I've been asking for the name of the restaurant because I was thinking about going with my older granddaughters one day. Recently she found out the name of the restaurant and I've eaten their food twice since then. She's been there two or three times and was able to take her whole family one weekend. Sorry for such a long post, but I just wanted to let others know about this wonderful place. Don't miss out, try it soon.
It was my first visit to this restaurant in Valley/Lanette (sp) Alabama. There was a birthday party going on, as well as regular patrons. My cousin ordered the chicken parmigiana and I ordered the Tour of Italy as take-outs. The food was exceptional, and there was PLENTY. The wait was reasonable and the service was good and friendly. The desserts looked amazing 👏 I recommend it. Oh, and let me mention that there is an outside dining area.
If you visit this restaurant on the day of your birthday, they will give you up to $20 on your meal. My birthday trip was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere was great, our server was very pleasant and efficient and the meal was out of this world! For starters, we enjoyed the garlic rolls with our salad, which was fresh and cold with delicious, homemade dressing. Next, I honestly can’t remember ever having a better steak than the huge ribeye which was cooked to perfection, along with a half-dozen huge fried shrimp! Then, to round out our meal, I was served a huge, complimentary dessert. I chose the peanut butter pie, which was absolutely phenomenal - the best I’ve ever had!! Three of us ate some and we still took some home, along with left-over steak and shrimp for a meal the next day. If you’re looking for an outstanding dining experience, you must visit Milano’s in Valley, AL
Skip everything and go straight to dessert 🎂 Everything was great including service. We had a group of 6 for dinner and only waited 15 minutes or so on a Saturday night. Busy restaurant with a fun vibe. I will never forget the Brownie Cheesecake!! Good wine prices in a sweet spot. We happened to be in town for the weekend so unlikely to visit again just based on location, but highly recommend! Cheers 🥂
04Jun19. We visited during lunch. The garlic butter rolls were delicious. I had the flounder platter. It was lightly breaded and flaky. The fries were not hot. My brother had the chicken parmigiana. He said that the sauce tasted authentic. My mother and sister split a salad which was huge. The ranch dressing is made in house. Service was outstanding. Prices were reasonable.
Everything is great service is outstanding the salads are really fresh and tea is very fresh tasting the dread rolls are to die for

Great food in a fun atmosphere. Stopped by while in town for work and was not disappointed. My meal was delicious and everything that came from the kitchen looked quite good. Looked like a fun spot to hang out and get a good meal.
The homemade desserts look amazing, but I didn't try one. I got a chicken parm dinner. It was what you'd expect. Nothing spectacular, but your general Italian vibe. The chicken seemed like it was fried, though, instead of baked. Something about this dish was very greasy, and that was the only thing I could think of. It was surprisingly busy for a Monday night, lots of birthday celebrations, but with these desserts, why not?
We enjoy eating at Milano's. Their staff has improved and it makes for an enjoyable delish meal.

The food is extremely greasy and just not worth the money or the heartburn. The only thing I'd go back for is their cakes those are phenomenal. I got my kids the spaghetti and meatballs they refused to eat more than the one bite they took. I ordered the tour of Italy and the amount of grease was awful. Definitely recommend the dessert but get dinner somewhere else.
I was told by a friend that this location had great food. Upon entering the parking lot, I could not find any parking spaces marked Handicap. Then, to enter, I was forced to walk through second hand smoke from the outdoor dining area. The patrons in that area were smoking, while eating,( NASTY). The hostess seated us in a booth. The seat cushions were well used, to the point they resembled sitting on an old bed spring. The food here is good, with large portions and fresh ingredients. Our server Franky was the best part of our visit. He was knowledgeable of the menu, and we found that his personality made our evening great. It is evident that they need a manger with some common sense. The French Dip sandwich was presented with a tiny serving of au jus. Dipping it was like an elephant riding a tricycle, it just didn't work. Thanks to Franky he brought us a bowl to make dipping easier. I will come back, only because the food is terrific, but they need to update the seats, and not allow smoking on the patio area.
I travel for work. I'm in restaurants daily all over the country. I'm not writing this to complain. I'm writing with hopes the owner/manager will coach their staff. Service is a tough job. People suck. I know!! But bad service is a fast way to lose customers. Food was good. I'll come back if I'm ever in town. Service needs work. That being said: Recently, I was in town for work. My hotel suggested I try this restaurant. Overall it is a small town restaurant. Clean and decent atmosphere. I was seated right away. My server, Camryn, must have been having a bad day. She seemed irritated to be there altogether. I ordered my appetizer (Fried calamari) and meal (seafood platter?) Great amount of food. Came out quick and hot. The food runner (young man with twists in his hair) was pleasant and polite. As I was starting to eat my entree, the bartender was serving the table next to mine. He told them all of the specials they had for the day. SPECIALS?!?!? Who knew? Not me. Camryn never even mentioned them. After dinner, Camryn asked if I was ready for check. Didn't ask if I was interested in dessert or coffee. I told her I was ready for the check. She went somewhere and then next thing I see she's outside on the patio taking another tables order. The bartender asked if I needed anything else and I said I was waiting for the check. He brought it to me immediately. By that time, she was back inside and walked up as he was handing me my check and said Sorry to him. I paid and left. I hope Camryn has better days moving forward. I hope management works to better her.

it just was not that good to me first off went in for lunch special ends at 3 he told me it’s dinner time ok then food came out with salad sauce was full of grease i don’t know if it was old or just to much grease in it i could not taste any tomato in it a can of ragu would of been better the eggplant hade to be frozen it was so mushy the only thing good was bread and salad i barely ate my food it was still a full plate and no one asked why i did not even take it to go all i know my stomach was hurting after.
Sounds were terrible, brown and mushy. Entree's were large but inedible. service was sub par. Place was filthy shoes stuck to floor all of us said we would never go back
Milano's is one of my favorite restaurants before yesterday's experience. It's Valentine's day, I went here with my husband. I'm in the hospitality industry, so I know how things work in a restaurant. When the hostess is trying to sit us, the server rejected us and the hostess led us to another table. Nobody attended to us until ten minutes later. Server was frowning and seemed like she doesn't wanna serve us. She was in a hurry and won't even glance at us. But we understand that it's been a busy day and she wants to go home. We ordered calamari, tour of italy, spaghetti and meatballs and, a cocktail. Mains were served first before our appetizer. Food quality is not the same as before. We got 80% tentacles out of the calamari. Food doesn't taste the same anymore. It's really our go-to before but we won't come back here ever. Sorry ;/
Very hard to call in an order. After driving 25 mins to pick up. Had to wait another 15 mins. Ask the girl to check my order and the lasagna was soupy( not normal). She responded I don’t know what you ordered so…. Ask about the extra rolls I had ordered and paid for. The 2 nd girl snapped “ You don’t get rolls with lunch”. Oddly after calling 3 times and being on hold over 5 mins. No one told me I was ordering lunch. Very disappointed. And they were not busy.
There isn't any Italian food cooked there. It's mostly boxed food. I ordered lasagna and what came out didn't look like anything that looked like lasagna. Whatever it was, was smothered in a cheese substitute. The meat sauce appeared to be watered down spaghetti sauce. And if there is a heat setting lower than Luke warm then I found it there. Unfortunately gone are the days when they had really good Italian food. Apparently the restaurant was sold and the new owners aren't on the Italian side. If you want Italian go to olive garden because Elvis and Italian food ain't at milanos.
Last night 10/31/2024 my son had pickup a to go order for spaghetti with meat sauce as you see there was very little meat sauce it was none hardly I was very disappointed with us spending over $50.00 and that’s sad if not for the small salad I was very disappointed will never order from them again see picture below
