Amazing food, strong drinks, and great service. Was hoping it was more Roswell themed but I would return here again and again.

I was seated quickly and they took my drink order. Food came quickly and was delicious. They pretty much serve comfort food and it is all good from my experiences. There are a lot of families and older clientele but everyone is very respectful of each other's space

First time patron and I must say, where have I been?? This place is soo good! The cheese sticks were the best I ever had from any restaurant. They're lightly breaded and so cheesy. The service was great, the food was great, and the entrees were priced right. Hubby and I already said we have a new spot to go to. I already plan to go there for my birthday, and that's 5 months away! 😁 You can say I loved it.

I went to Lulu's for the first time for breakfast and it was very good. The waitress was very nice and funny.I liked her energy and she was a older woman who had the best personality and great smile.I will return to eat other items on the menu .Compliments to the chefs in the kitchen .

The quality is excellent and has improved greatly over the years. The menu is large and offers a variety of lunch and dinner items as well as breakfast. The meat in the hamburgers is excellent and fresh. Well grilled and served with fries in individual fry baskets. They offer bbq including ribs and steaks. Their salads are generous and well-made. Service is excellent, the ladies are pleasant and easy to get hold of. The owner is nearly always present and very helpful and friendly. On average expect to spend $12 - 15 per person

Went here for Mother’s Day brunch. We waited a little longer just because of the holiday crowd. Our waitress was very busy but she still managed to take decent care of us. I had the salmon eggs Benedict. Which was yummy.

Met with a group of about 20 and had reserved the back room. Staff was great and efficient getting everybody fed and coffees filled. Everything went very well. Again, but it seemed like our server was overwhelmed, maybe someone called in sick, but service was still great.

Had breakfast with family and friends. It was great.

Aviation themed, Lulu's probably your best option when it comes to down-to-earth, American Diner cuisine. They were pretty good before.But within about the last five or six years, they have completely upgraded their menu, and the stuff is top notch.

Wonderful staff and food was great. Love the atmosphere . My husband got the Bonanza waffle plate. Waffle slice of ham stake eggs and a waffle on top. I had the pull pork all was delicious.

We just found this place and omg it’s amazing. Full bar with affordable drinks, the food is amazing, the menu is huge and the portions are too. Our server Melanie was incredibly knowledgable and attentive. I can be very needy and she didn’t miss a beat. I will most definitely be coming back!

Not many places I've been to offer tuna melt, so I'm glad I came across Lulu's. Sandwich is pretty big that usually serves for two meals. Holds well if toasted in N oven toaster the following day. You won't be disappointed.

We bring our family here every Thanksgiving. The food is fantastic. The variety of choices, besides the Thanksgiving dinner special, is great and our waitress Kim is absolutely the best in the world! That woman is incredible and kind and attentive. A real jewel!

I have to love Melanie our server and there’s a couple of other services that are great to Efren the manager who I was working with was a lot of fun I had to have the club sandwich which can easily feed two people the turkey is so fresh and juicy that you swear you were slicing it right off the Thanksgiving day leftovers. We also had to have the beer better onion rings which are beyond delicious but I always add tartar sauce the outdoor seating is extremely comfortable they’ve gone way out of their way to make sure that you can watch TV listen to music and enjoy great food was fantastic service during such a difficult time… Keep up the good work guys!!

Great food and service at this family friendly airplane decorated restaurant near the Van Nuys Airport. My recent visit I got the ‘Pigs in a Blanket’ breakfast food item featuring 3 delicious full size pancakes wrapped around pork sausages with powdered sugar and butter and a side of maple syrup. I enjoyed my food! 👍👍

We come to Lulu’s often for breakfast or lunch, and it never disappoints. It’s very family-friendly and casual, but the food is so delicious and comforting. The portions are generous, and everything has that classic comfort-food feel. The servers are always friendly, and there are great options for both breakfast and lunch. This time my husband got the French toast, and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich—both are some of our favorites and always hit the spot. Definitely a great go-to place when you want something tasty, filling, and relaxed.

Had the Patti melt. It was decent. Hung out on the bar side till closing. My wife and I had a great time. Met some really nice folks. The bar tendress was very nice we all had some good laughs.

Lulu's is an amazing experience of "taste of home cooking" here in the valley. This establishment is privately owned and operated, which is so very rare in Los Angeles County - Bravo! I had the meatloaf last night, with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies! It was absolutely delicious! If you are looking for a comfortable environment with great food, give them a try. Oh, did I mention how delicious their Chocolate Chip cookies are - YUM!

Flight enthusiasts or enjoy that type of atmosphere this is your place. Good old American Burgers and Beer! The Burgers have a nice smoke favor and the fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly cook on the inside. I am always interested on trying something new and was referred to try this place out. I can say I was not disappointed. The outside area was filled with laughter and had plenty of seat. The inside had a bar on one side and indoor dinning on the other. The atmosphere was super lively with various tables having a great time. The service was fast and professional. It was late and only did a takeout order but look forward to sitting down to eat next time. Recommend for family and friends to enjoy American style food. 👍

The restaurant was CLEAN, with no dust or cobb webs, and you couldn't smell any cleaners! The service was good, food came out at a reasonable time, and the quality was great! My wife had eggs benedict, and the potatoes were cooked evenly all the way through, which is rare. The design is from the 80s, but whoe cares really, and since they're next to the airport, there are planes in the wall and model aircraft hanging from the ceiling. Forget dennys- Lulu's worst day is still better than dennys on their best.

Wednesday April 5th 2023- Dinner The food was good and the drink orders (lemonade and soda) was brought to our table pretty fast which is good. The server was very kind and when we asked for a take-away box for our leftovers she said that we could have one. The restaurant is clean too.

We had a great experience here . Don't let the parking lot scare you away, looks dark and creepy, but the place is so worth it. Our waitress was so attentive and caring. She gave us her opinion on the best burger (Ranch Burger) which we took, and it was so good!

Went here last Sunday after a long walk at Balboa Park. We did not have to reserve and was seated as soon as we arrived. They have an outdoor seating and I remember bringing my pet dog here one time. Service was great and the food was really good! I highly recommend trying out the Corned Beef Hash and Egg because it’s one of the tastiest meals we had during our visit. The serving is huge and make sure to ask for a box to go if you cannot finish it in one sitting. They’re not lying when they called their Big Chocolate Cake big because the size of that slice was enough to fill me up until dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

It was my first time at this place. The chefs at this place are amazing!!! I'm having to adjust to eating with braces and eating BBQ tends to hurt. The waitress offered an alternative when I asked her for a recommendation. It smelled delicious when it arrived to my table, and glorious when I took the first bite! The meat here is seasoned very well and the guacamole was amazing. The kitchen staff is amazing! Definitely coming back!

I do enjoy eating out on my days off, my wife and I do like the waitresses very polite and efficient most of time, waitress forgot in wanted dry toast and brought me with lots of butter.. But she replaced it right away. The people that frequent the place are our age group, 60s> I recommend it if you like quiet atmosphere, so if you are up there, Stop by you will enjoy it. The food is good too ... You young guys can come too, but don't make too much noise.... hehehehe

Amazing food just the place needed some repairs

Came here for happy hour on a weeknight. Decently busy but there were a few open tables in the bar area. The feel is pretty divey...didn't check out the main dining area. The bar area is pretty small but can’t beat the happy hour. For the price, the food is a great value as well as the drinks. My only complaint is that the music is way too loud for the size of the space. Or am I just getting old?

Great Confort Food. Highly recommended Most service staff gets high marks, only had one or two that were not skilled, but at least had good additudes and were customers focus. A bit of training and elevating communication skills should address this.

I was in a room with about 10 other people for a computer Club meeting. It was nice being separated from the rest of the restaurant. The service was great, especially for such a big group! I was freezing cold, but I didn't say anything. I ordered a steak dark pink, but what I got was a steak that was too well done. When I mentioned it to the server, she agreed and took it immediately! Very shortly I received a very well cooked tasty steak.

A very quaint place. The food was good, service was very nice and friendly and the aeronautical theme was cool. But, it was not worth $70 for two of us to have breakfast. The prices were a bit high for what we got.

Really like the chicken wings with Buffalo sauce, our group had different dishes and the all said they liked them.

I was really disappointed in this place. It's hard finding good chicken fried steak in the valley, and while they serve it here, they neglect to mention that they use bacon in the gravy. That's cool, but should be noted somewhere for those that can't eat bacon. Otherwise, my BBQ burger also left a lot to be desired. Their saving grace was the amazing pie.

It was my first time at Lulu's. The service was good, the food was okay. I ordered the eggs, bacon, and cinnamon French toast. The scrambled eggs I got were good. I like crispy bacon but it was definitely burnt here. The cinnamon French toast was the best. My other guests had more lunch items and seem to be happy with what they selected. The place definitely needs updating. But for breakfast or lunch I don't think you'd be disappointed.

This review is mainly for my last visit to Lulu's. I would first like to say, the service I've received at Lulu's has always been great! Keep up the good work. I was very disappointed 😞 with the Monte Cristo Sandwich I ordered as take out. It was actually burnt. I would've taken it back but didn't feel like getting back in traffic. This sandwich used to be a good option but I won't be ordering it again from Lulu's. A message to the cook, if you know something is way overcooked, don't just serve it open, prepare another one!

I had the San Francisco Sourdough Burger. I asked for Well Done. It came Rare. I ordered Carrot Cake. $10 and it didn’t taste like Carrot Cake.

Was hoping for some "home cooked" comfort food but got frozen and fried. Service was a bit patchy but friendly.

The atmosphere was great, I enjoyed the way how the restaurant theme was based off pilots and Air Force, but that was really it. The server was friendly when interacting with us but ignored us most of the time. The food was eatable but not the best. I did enjoy the sample plater because it’s a bit of everything, but the ribs were underwhelming it was dry and didn’t have much flavor. Also had a bad smell especially after a 30 min wait.

Hubby & I walked to this diner on a Friday eve to support local biz. Although the service and ambiance were good, the food, drinks, and dessert were NOT worth their price. The good: The restaurant and restrooms were clean & well appointed. The service staff were friendly and attentive. The bad: Hubby ordered his fave--blue cheese burger. When server asked how he wanted his meat cooked, he said medium. What came was a charred, dry burger...what a waste of an 8oz patty! Only the bacon and fries were decently prepared. I was mostly thirsty, so I only ordered a tomato juice, which was weirdly salty, and a side of cole slaw, which tasted OK but too soggy. To try to end on a good note, we shared a raspberry cheesecake, but even that tasted like wax/candle. The ugly: Way overpriced for mostly inedible menu items. As much as we appreciate and support local businesses, this one was sadly a waste of our hard-earned $$.

First thing I noticed I asked for a freshly squeeze orange juice and it was just regular store juice. Second thing the plastic was melted onto my eggs so I didn’t eat them.

Let me start off by saying if you’re not 65 and older don’t bother going. The chicken was dry as some of you guys elbows. We ordered three shots of patron and it’s obvious that they put water in the bottles with the shots. They water it down. I’ve tasted better when I get dragged under water at the beach and swallow some of that water.. the nachos came out with sprinkled cheese not even know damn, nacho cheese. The service was garbage.. if your management and reading this, please don’t reply you couldn’t give me free food for life to come back. I guess that’s what I get for eating at a low budget Denny’s.

It stinks. The restraunt has a foul, musty odor and the Asian waitress is very rude. Always! She’s rude for no reason. Just rude. The worst waitress ever at a restaurant.

Manager Mike extremely rude and condescending. Made a small mistake with food taken home that had tomatoes in it. He got on the phone said he was the owner of the place and there was no one else I could speak to outside of him very disappointed in my experience with the customer service especially because everyone else that served and works here is amazing. People check your Utensil. I was eating my side dish and my fork flipped over and there was crusty old food stuck on the back of my fork...really disgusting! I am in very poor health so for me this could have been life threatening if there was any bacteria which my body can't fight. I also can only eat small portions due to my. I made the server aware of the issue who brought me a fresh side dish which I couldn't eat. The manager never came over to apologize (I guess they're there just for the paycheck, not to address issues) oh, and they gave me free cookies which I can't eat. Those utensils must have been in at least 3 peoples hands before they reached the table and not 1 employee noticed which matches management behavior I guess. So I don't think we'll be meeting here again. The group was pretty disappointed.

PLEASE BEWARE of eating here. I rarely write reviews but after having my first meal of the day here today I had severe diarrhea and bad stomach cramps. Gave me a terrible stomach bug for the day. I also see here in the reviews i’m not the only person that this has happened to. Disgusting and will never come here again.

Do not go to this restaurant. My husband and I hadn’t eaten all day, and this was our first meal. From the very first bite, we could tell the food wasn’t fresh, so we didn’t even finish it. After we got home, we both started vomiting and having severe diarrhea.

For starters, a server was complaining out loud about their co-worker and using profanity which is unnecessary because I am here to eat and not here you complain. Secondly, it seemed like the server didn’t want to be there he seemed awkward and kept coming back because he forgot to ask things. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was the only good thing about the place! My boyfriend said “There’s a Five guys across the street just go there”

Honestly, the food here is disgusting and waay overpriced for how gross and flavorless it is. This is a glorified Denny's, and the service is horrible every time. I don't know if they don't have enough people working here, but I came in twice and had a horrible experience both times. I had the Eggs Florentine, and the hollandaise sauce was not very good, and the spinach tasted chalky, like it came from a can. The Belgian Waffle was flavorless and cold when we got it--not good at all, and the Orange Juice was spoiled. The French Onion soup tasted like it came out of a bag, and they use gross, dry, croutons that are definitely not home made. They top the soup with so much cheese, and it was cold when it arrived. How disgusting. Then I asked for a Beyond burger, but they didn't have one, so instead of telling me, they just switched it out with a dry, disgusting black bean burger patty, and it tasted like cardboard. The mozzarella sticks were okay, but honestly I would never ever come here. Both times I came in here, my server ignored me and the person I was with, and forgot multiple things on our order. Oh, and when I walked in the restaurant, they took 15 mins to greet/seat me. The employees all saw me, and were right at the front, but they just ignored me. Honestly, this place is a joke. Do not come here. Anyone who leaves this place a decent review must not know what good food is.
