Very nice experience, my son recommended it to me after going there with friends. The owner and staff are very kind. I recommend it for the price, nothing to say excellent. Thank you so much, and we'll be back to celebrate my birthday 🖐️❤️👏👏👏
Home-style cooking, authentic and flavorful, just like the trattorias of yesteryear, the ones that disappeared with the transitional seasons. Generous dishes and fair prices. Friendly service and a warm welcome. We arrived on a Saturday after 2 p.m. and were greeted without a second thought. An appetizer to share between three (more than enough) and tagliolini with mushrooms, all topped off by the delicate autumn sun under the pergola, and a decent dessert. Water and coffee, a total of just over 20 euros per person. You're 10 minutes from Noli or Final Borgo, right in the middle of the Manie plateau... what more could you ask for? In short, an experience definitely worth repeating!
Good people, good food. Recommended 👍
I'm biased, I admit, but coming here takes me back to the 1980s, when we'd come from Varigotti and borrow a Ciao Piaggio from friends. Furthermore, arriving and finding the place always the same is an added bonus, prompting a chat with the manager, who turns out to be the grandson of the old innkeeper who served you back then. The food was excellent: mixed antipasto, tagliolini with pesto, wild boar, sausage, rabbit...all excellent and indigestible (as is usual). All washed down with a local liqueur that only tastes good here and on these occasions. So, as always: GREAT!!!!!! Thanks for bringing me back to being sixteen!!!!
Nice place, several tables in a shade. The menu consists of Italian inland fare (I.e. no fish/seafood) and what we had tasted great! The waiter was very kind. Recommended as a place away from hustle and bustle of the seaside.
Beautiful location in the countryside where you can eat outdoors in peace. Simple, homemade food, truly excellent! The ravioli "au tuccu" are amazing, highly recommended! The fritters they make on Sundays for a snack are also delicious! One of the best places I've been to; eating here is always a wonderful experience!
We've been wanting to eat at this trattoria for years; we always passed by on our mountain bikes, and we finally made it. We ate DIVINELY 😋: Full menu: appetizers, 3 first courses including ravioli al tuccu, tagliolini with porcini mushroom sauce from Mostra, and tagliolini with wild boar, second courses: mixed meats and wild boar, wine, water, desserts, and coffee, all €35. Compliments to the chef and all the staff 👏
The best tagliolini with wild boar I've ever eaten. Every time I tell myself I need to find the courage to ask for a jar of wild boar sauce, but then I feel embarrassed. Outdoor and indoor seating. Very friendly waiters, excellent value. It is and always will be a must-try. Evening service and snacks available.
Best Tiramisu I have ever eaten! Everything is handmade and just tastes great!!!
I went to this restaurant a few days ago. I had a great meal. I had excellent homemade tagliolini with porcini mushroom sauce. The beef morsels stewed in red wine were delicious; the meat was incredibly tender. The fries were also good. The coffee and bottled white wine were all very good. The staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.
Nestled in the woods on the hills of Finale Ligure, this is a cool and pleasant place. On the road, easily accessible. You can taste the homemade dishes: handmade tagliolini and real mushrooms. The wild boar is very good, as is the chicken stew. The berry tart is delicious. Service is fast. The Mora mare is always present after the fence. The mosquito population is moderate (in summer), so bring something.
A historic local trattoria, this quiet spot enjoys cooler temperatures than the seaside. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is good, trattoria-style, and the prices are quite reasonable. The outdoor area is very large and can accommodate even large groups. A lovely evening.
This place has been there forever, I think the first time I went there I was a young boy, 50 years ago. It’s a basic place, charming inside an old church, and they make basically the same few dishes since then (homemade ravioli or tagliolini with choice of pesto, wild boar ragu or tomatoless ragu as pastas, Ligurian rabbit, brasato or chicken as second dish with either French fries or salad) but everything is like made by an Italian grandmother, delicious, simple and tasty. The wine is also local. The homemade desserts (tiramisu and bitter orange crostata) were superb. We ate like two pigs and the bill (even if a bit more expensive since the pandemic) was veeery reasonable. A must if you are in that area!
Authentic and homey styled food. Well seasoned and delicious. A little off the road trattoria that will fill your belly!
Bellissima chiesa sconsacrata con dehor sotto pergolato al fresco, io e mio marito bazzichiamo da molti anni le Manie e ci siamo fermati molte volte in passato a mangiare in un posto informale e case…
I returned after a few years, but the place retains its unique and classy feel of a true Ligurian trattoria. The food is always high-quality and excellently prepared, with no particular aesthetics in the presentation of the dishes, just pure flavor. The service is very friendly and down-to-earth in a very positive sense. The ambiance, both inside and out, is reminiscent of a classic western restaurant.
Deconsecrated church on the hill, with no sea view. Beautiful portico with plenty of outdoor seating! There isn't a lot of indoor seating. Very friendly and helpful family service. The offerings are always the same: mixed appetizers (cured meats, Russian salad, pickles and vegetables in oil); first course: fresh pasta (such as tagliolini and stuffed ravioli) with ragù, pesto, tomato, and mushrooms; second course: Ligurian-style rabbit, chicken, wild boar, sausage, salad, and French fries; desserts: tiramisu, parfaits; house wine, both white and red! Apart from the parfaits, everything is homemade and you can taste it. Nice location, friendly service, homemade quality, normal portions. The reason for the three stars: PRICE a bit too high for the homemade offerings (the four of us spent €100 for four first courses, three second courses, three desserts, water, and a bottle of house wine). Another reason is that they ONLY accept CASH, for technical reasons (technical reasons that have always existed...). NO RECEIPT. It's a place that could easily get 4 stars, but it lacks the aspects mentioned above.
