Dined with a large group of firefighters while at a convention. Spoke with Maria who was more than accommodating for our large group. BYOB restaurant with great dishes and pizza served fresh from their oven located in the middle of the restaurant. Have the hot honey pizza! Apps were fantastic and entrees even better. Rosa took great care of our party with great recommendations. This is a family owned business and is a local favorite, after dining here I definitely see why. If you’re in AC, put this on your list! Enjoy!

My wife and I have eaten here several times. The restaurant is family owned and operated. On any given night there are three generations present who make you feel right at home and as if you were in your own kitchen. The food is fabulous. We had the fried calamari with hot peppers, the homemade meatballs and the eggplant parmigiana. All were cooked perfectly. This restaurant is a must for us every time we visit AC.

I had an absolutely perfect experience at The Red Room Cafe! From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall charm, and I loved that it was a BYOB establishment. The standout dishes for me were the pork and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake - they were absolutely delicious and a must-try! I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.

I went to The Red Room Café on September 13, 2024. I tried to make reservations online, but for some reason, I was unsuccessful, so I took a drive from the casino and I explained to the hostess my situation. At first they told me everything was booked solid, but after checking their reservation book, they realize that a party of 2 had not shown up, they called them and they said that they were unable to make it, and that they call and canceled the reservation by leaving a phone message, (my lucky night). I was able to be seated outside. The service was great. I ordered the pork chop and broccoli Rabe with provolone sauce, all I can say is that was a very, very great meal. I will be returning, and I will have reservations, I just want to thank the person who recommended me to this restaurant. I definitely will be back there again, real soon.

Absolutely Outstanding! I’m a huge foodie and I wanna say my Bolognese is the best but wow 🤩 this was absolutely outstanding. Need to change the name to Mangia Mangia “ you are too skinny” cause I don’t like leaving a plate of food but they beat me! Staff is super friendly and the place is so cute. Need a date night go here cause it’s awesome! Thanks 🙏

If you are ever in Ventnor NJ this is a must try. Food A+. Traditional Italian dishes made with love and the wait staff make great suggestions. Service A+. Everything here was top tier. They owe me nothing

Another amazing meal at the Red Room. Had an 8:15 reservation and we were immediately seated with a packed house. Service was good, Scotch was tasty, but the Veal Chop Parm was to die for Life is good in Ventnor.

We had dinner tonight celebrating our 3rd anniversary. Taylor was our server. She was great! It was only her 2nd day. We ordered the brussel sprout salad, which was a special, it was delicious! Our whole dinner was really good and we have leftovers! What a great place for dinner in our little neighborhood ! I would highly recommend it!

Went into this charming little cafe by chance on Saturday morning, met the kind owners as we bought pasta, sauce and prepared dishes. We were lucky to return that evening for dinner and we were not disappointed. The pizza, pasta and cannoli were all delicious . Pure perfection and !

We love the red room Cafe in ventnor! The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful. We had the artichoke appetizer (its a special) last year and I've been craving it all year. I just had it again and it was everything I remembered. I've had just about half the menu (not myself but tasting my family's entrees and app too) and I have loved it all! They never disappoint. And while the steaks and cooked perfectly and the pastas are delicious don't be afraid to get the pizzas .... they are amazing!! You can't go wrong. Definitely make reservations, even fornweek nights. Thats not to say they are always booked, but they do fill up fast if they arent booked! There is nice outdoor seating too. The owners are so friendly. They walk around to check on everything. The women owner even helped my kids with their plates and napkins, it was very sweet! Our last visit we didn't have reservations and they were very accommodating. However we got super lucky that there was just enough time before the next reservations. I can't believe I didn't take one picture of our food, it looked just as good as it tasted! My kids are expensive dates. They eat appitizers with us and ordered steak. Plus we had dessert and espressos, which were all also soooo yummy!! It's a byob and there's a liquor store right next to the restaurant with wine, beer, setzlers, etc, just 2 doors down. If you haven't eaten here, you need to!! :)

Recently, four of us dined at the Red Room, and I ordered grilled swordfish. It was the most delicious and largest cut I've ever had. If you're looking for an inexpensive, quiet (the reason for 4 stars and not 5), intimate dinner, this is not your place on the weekend. But if you are looking for quality Italian cuisine any night of the week with homemade pasta, this IS your place! Abbiamo mangiato molto bene!

I really enjoyed our Mothers Day dinner here. The service was excellant. The staff is friendly and personable. They remembered who ordered what dish and took care of all of our requests and needs with a smile. I had the lobster tail franchise which was awesome, I also sampled my friends Salmon which was very moist on the inside and a sweet crust outside, also awesome! I tried a lamb chop which was cooked to perfection! We had a calamari appetizer and I really liked the gravy with it! My neice had the surf and turf and the filet mignon was a very large portion for filet! Tiramasu was very yummy! As far as atmosphere is concerned their is a huge , very impressive round brick oven sitting in all its glory at the rear of the resturant. Other than that I was not impressed with the decor. Nothing special or impressive when compared to the quality of the food they serve. The wood slat window treatments on a sunny day give this place a nice seashore town resturant vibe, which is very nice.

The food was amazing the staff was fantastic, Rose was our waitress she was awesome. Joe served the food he was great too we will come back for sure. We came up from Baltimore and we're told we had to visit this restaurant and it didn't disappoint and the blush sauce is unbelievable. Highly recommended!!!!

what a fantastic meal! We had a party of nine and four of them were children, the wait staff was very kind and patient. The escargot was the best we've ever had, the meatballs were fantastic, and all of the meals were exceptional. I totally recommend.

Red Room Cafe is an excellent restaurant. The pasta is homemade exceptional, flavorful and, Delicious. Our waitress was personable and highly accommodating. Each of us had 🎂 dessert 🍮 🧁 , and you have to try it out for yourself to reap the reality of just how fresh and tasteful in every way. I have to add my Latte was freshly made.. and others enjoyed the expresso. Amazing 🎈 Birthday 🎂 Dinner I will be back there ASAP... I am not one to write reviews; however this place is more than deserving Pure perfection

Love the Red Room. Family owned and operated, they make you feel like a special guest, more than just a patron. The food is incredible using only the finest ingredients and made fresh daily. The pizza is made in thier own wood fired oven and is one of a kind. Do forget to B.Y.O.B. Don't tell anyone about this fabulos dining establishment, its hard enough to get a table as it is ; ) We will be going back again and again and again......Bon Appetit!

Loved this place -- it's loud and not particularly posh for the prices, but the copious portions of chow are terrific, and the service is first rate. Just be sure to make a rezzie -- this place fills up fast and they (wonderfully) don't rush you out the door.

Food was solid. Veal San Marzano was best dish we had. Service was great. Taylor was informative and friendly. Priced according to island trends. Busy summer night, you are being rushed out the door. Next visit will be in off-season.

We had a great dinner at the Red Room Cafe. There were 6 of us and it was our first time dining here. We all loved our apps, entrees and dessert. The homemade pasta was amazing. The grilled octopus was a favorite app & the grilled Caesar salad. They did not rush us on a busy Saturday night. The staff was very nice especially our server Lisa (the best)! And we enjoyed meeting lovely Maria, the owner, who stopped by our table to say hello to check in with us. Well-deserved 5 star rating.

I love coming here for dinner when I'm in Ventnor City. The food is so tasty, especially the gnocchi and pizza. The service is tremendous and getting a reservation is the best way to get a good table

Best restaurant at the NJ shore. Food is outstanding and always on point. Homemade pasta....great sauces...filet is always incredible, overall excellence. Service is exceptional as well....true family run restaurant, and it shows. You will not have a superior meal anywhere....these guys are great.

Restaurant is not big and there were a lot of tables in there, so it seemed a bit crowded since every table was full. We liked it better once 1/2 the people left. ( just our personal preference - but glad for the owners it was busy) Food was good and the restaurant is BYOB. We had a nice meal, and service was efficient.

So let’s start with the great, the food is absolutely delicious. We had the calamari, fried version of arancini balls, broccoli rabe and the shrimp pasta and they threw in some gnocchi for us to try. BYOB is awesome with no corkage fee! Charlotte was our waitress and she was a gem. We also met Maria who I believe is the manager and or owner very friendly!! The only reason for me not giving it 5 stars even though I want to was we did wait about 20 mins to be seated and our apps didn’t come out for almost an hour. They were very slammed but very apologetic about it. Food was worth the wait and staff is really sweet. Freshest pasta I have eaten besides Italy. You should go there when in town but just be prepared to wait and bring some extra bottles to keep yourself occupied :)

We were only able to get an outside table for a 6 pm reservation. It was a hot sunny summer evening and the sun shined directly on every table. We suffered through dining in the scorching hot sun. We could not believe that the owners take no effort or small expense in providing outdoor umbrellas to provide shade for all its customers. I find it negligent and uncaring. We grabbed umbrellas from our cars and continued dining holding our rain umbrellas to protect us from the hot sun. I would not recommend ever dining at an outside table on a hot sunny evening. Shame shame on the management and owners for ignoring such a simple fix to make everyone’s dining experience more comfortable.

The food was delicious. The service was good. Nothing spectacular. For 4 people (we all had the chicken Parm) 4 soft drinks & 2 desserts it cost 172 Dollars. They do add a 3% service charge (we did NOT BYOB) so I'm kinda unsure what the "service" they charged for + they charged me 5.09 to use a credit card. I was surprised by the fee to use a credit card as I thought that is the "cost of doing business" parking could get tricky in summer.

We ate dinner there this past Sunday It was a birthday dinner the food was good but the service was lacking. I understand When a restaurant is very busy There might be some delays From the kitchen But 45 minutes For appetizers was Unacceptable. We had Champagne and wine for our table and had a hard time and wait to get wine glasses. Also a long wait for our Entrees. We were a party of three and celebrating a 85th bday for my friends mother. Needless to say We left disappointed.

Went for Valentine's Day dinner. Service very good, server was attentive. Food came out timely and portions were excellent. Two entrees were $108 w/o gratuity (welcome to the Biden economy). It was BYOB so I thought it was a little pricey. Paid with CC so 3% added to tab. Enjoyed ourselves.

Very expensive for what you get. Had to send my Dish back as it was not cooked. The new dis came back with less food and the shell from the shrimp I ate. The appetizers were good both clams and calamari but the 6 entrees were nothing to write home about.

We didn't like it. The first thing we heard was "we don't have calamari, crab meat and pizza" ... It's a good start, isn't it? We waited for appetizers for a very long time, well, straight for a very long time. Of the appetizers, we only liked the octopus. Then, almost immediately, they brought in hot stuff. A huge dish, designed in my opinion for two people. It seemed not bad, but we weren't happy. We asked to put the half-eaten dishes to take out, but they threw away half of the uneaten fish, saying that they did not understand that we wanted to take this dish. I won't come here again.

Average food. Had pasta with crab and shrimp. 3 shrimp and blush sauce was bland. Caprese salad was good but 20 dollars is ridiculous for 3 slices of tomato, mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers. Wait service was very good and attentive.

I come here every year for my birthday dinner. My husband and I are locals so we tend to visit in the off season to avoid the craziness. What I usually love about this restaurant is the consistency of the food, we never had a problem even during Covid. We dined in this past Thursday night for my birthday dinner. Our waitress Taylor was attentive and super sweet. We shared a hot honey pizza for an appetizer and it was very good. I love the pizza here. My husband got the gnocchi for his entree, which you can never go wrong with. Red Room’s gnocchi are little pillows of heaven. I always get the same entree every time I dine in, the frutti di mare. When our entrees came out, my meal was not hot and the paccheri pasta was completely undercooked. I don’t mind al dente, but I couldn’t get past the texture, taste, and thickness of the pasta. It was hard to stab the pasta with my fork. I usually never send food back, but I was so looking forward to my meal and I wanted to enjoy it. They said they would make a new one for me. 10 minutes or so go by and the second time around my entree was very hot and the pasta was cooked perfectly, but then I noticed the color of the sauce was much lighter compared to the first time I received the entree. I don’t know if they boiled the same pasta from the first time, which then made the sauce watered down? I tried to eat it, but then the dish didn’t taste right. Something was off. We ended up stacking our other dishes on top because I didn’t want to make a big stink about it, but I was very disappointed because I’ve never had a problem here before.

Came here the other day with the last possible reservations with my family. We had to wait a while outside and when we got in the restaurant was nice. Kind waiters but I wish they had more beverage options and better seasoned food for its price. We ended up being the last ones there and they were cleaning up before we left leaving us feeling rushed. We packed our food to go and was honestly not worth it.

So the atmosphere is very charming. Very tight knit. Every table was taken. We got calamari which was one medium size piece that was bland and rubbery. The muscles Diablo were good! When we asked at minute 85 what was taking so long we got a glib response of the chef didn’t show up. Now I get it that things happen but that’s not our problem. You should have let us know. We would have re scheduled. Maybe an appetizer on the house or something. Customer service was decent and the staff did apologize a few times. The chicken Marsala wasn’t special in anyway but it was a VERY GOOD SERVING portion. Not the place for children. If you are on a date our are with a small group and enjoy a fully packed environment then this place will be right up your alley. I’d come back but only one more time. I wanted it to be the fantastic corner Italian sport it seems like it was a few years ago.

We waited 1 hour 40 minutes for our mains. When they finally arrived, my salmon was room temperature while the other 2 salmons at our table we’re perfectly hot. I sent it back 2 times and all I got was a heated plate, the food never getting hot. By that time I had lost my appetite and left most on my plate. Management knew there were serving and kitchen issues and did not attempt to apologize. All we were told was “we are doing the best we can”. Sorry, not a good answer!!

You are rushed all the time. Plates are taken even if you dont finish. Not time to read menu, or talk. If i wanted fast food, i would of went for fastfood and spent much less. Atmosphere is like school lunchroom -loud! Tables squashed together. Workers walk by you and push and move and hit yoy all the time. Octopus was oversalted. Pizza wasnt cooked through. Most of the food oversalted. Pasta way under cooked. I have no idea what kind of filling in the cannoli, felt like flour and god nows what cheese, almost no sugar. Lemon cake testkess. Food is either oversalted or tastelss. Instead of rushing people they should take their time and try to cook food that actually tatses good

Picked up their “famous” egg plant park that’s always out of stock at the farmers market and a pint of vodka sauce. Why do I get home to taste everything, and I get raw tomato? As a chef I feel so disappointed you believed it was okay to put in tomatoes from the can in both of these items without cooking them. What kind of Italian establishment doesn’t know to cook tomato sauce for a long time over a low flame. Are you that behind on your production you’d rather serve raw tomato from a can?
