Really nice place to have a meal with your family. Found it interesting that you order your food on one side of the restaurant and your beer on the other side. Really not that big a deal cause the beer was great and the pizza was delicious 😋. Order the chips, they make them there themselves. Very reasonably priced. Great family atmosphere.

Pizza is great! Love the spicy garlic Italian. Try the honey chicken or the carnitas pizza. Wings are pricy but good, also the stuffed jalapenos are delicious. Sandwiches are also very good.. make sure to ask for extra sauce on the meatball. Excellent salad bar. Transmission brewery has some good beers. I had the"mudflap" - a really nice brown ale.

I had their Dijon chicken pizza and Hawaiian heat pizza. Their pizza are full of toppings. Perfectly crunchy in the bottom and perfect amount of chewiness of the dough. Very flavorful. They have a lot of selections and if you cant find one, you can build your own with over 15+ ingredients. The brewery next door definitely help... I mean, pizza and beer... Who can say no?

This was our first time visiting Topper‘s Pizza. I have to say I was very impressed especially with the staff it is all about the customer at Toppers Pizza. Everyone was very nice and attentive. We like that there wasn’t tons of different prices on the menu sandwiches are all the same price same with the pizzas unless you just want a cheese pizza and add your own toppings. This was seriously the best pizza we’ve had in many years and every time we visit Ventura we will definitely visit Toppers Pizza on front Street!

Very tasty food!! Our Hawaiian pizza was so good and had tremendous flavor. We asked for no jalapeños and loved the result. The salad bar is very nice and the breadsticks were very tasty with a soft pretzel feel and flavor. I highly reccomend and it's connected to a brewery if you want an adult beverage. Very cool vibe too

Beautiful architecture in this new building. I especially loved the circular dining pods, solar panel canopy and outdoor patio with its massive metal fire pit. Lunch pizza was tasty and we paired it with salad to make it feel more healthy.

Went for the first time on Sunday 4/28. It's definitely one of the best pizzas in the VC and it's also definitely pricey. What makes up for any issues here is the rooftop patio where you get ocean views and the pizza delivered to your table. Great beers and great staff and it's 21 and over so no shrieking kids running around and ruining your day.

Great pizza! Our group got the potato chips and pizza and 2 others ordered a salad and a sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the game playing. Great time of fellowship before we all headed back home from our fall conference. I would definitely come back and eat here with my husband and kids when I come to visit again.

This place is excellent! The decor is great, the pizza is top notch and the attached Transmission Brewery has some tasty brews as well. One of my favorite touches is the “gas/no gas” water dispenser, where you can choose to pour your own carbonated or flat water (free of course). I highly recommend eating here.

Industrial imagery combines an incredible artisan brewery with one of the best pizza restaurants in the county. Fresh salad bar, but the ranch is best on the pizza (mixed with the spicy red pepper flakes) - not to be missed. The brewery has an upper drinking dining area accessed from outside stairs is strictly for 21 & over - the view is awesome as you can see the channel islands & watch beautiful sunsets 🌇.

I've never been to this location before, but I am so pleased to say exceptional atmosphere and food was great. We selected this pizza/crafted beer 🍺 restaurant to hold our annual Dynasty Football League gathering to meet and greet each other. We all enjoy the meal and had a blast. I appreciate the type of dough used in their pizza. It seems like the yeast is similar to sourdough. It is crunchy on the edges, just the right amount of rise. But I don't know anything official about sourdough or this pizza dough's ingredients. Toppings are high quality. Fresh tomato, mushrooms, all the veggies. Pepperoni is so yum too. I got a ham & Swiss sandwich as well. Meh. Totally meh. Bread not impressive as the pizza dough. Ingredients lacked pizzazz & substance. If you get a single serve salad bowl? IT IS majorly TASTY & A CLEAN BUFFET. BUUUT- they SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED at the size of the bowl. So so small. It's pathetic. Although price is, $6. So I don't know, is this the way life is? Everytime I'm in Ventura, once every few years, I stop here to eat cuz I love the pizza & beer options.

Excellent thin-crust pizza right next to Transmission Brewery in Ventura - they actually share some space, and you can order pizza from Topper’s, sit anywhere with a beer, and the servers deliver the pizza right to you via location hockey-pucks. Big salad bar, not tried. The pizzas, though, and options to add to them are delicious, and the final hot, crispy goodness is amazing. Go!

Lunch special in the weekend AND a delicious salad bar and homemade chips with onion dip. Yum. I only stop in Oxnard occasionally, but this location was such a vibe! So cute!

What I like the best about Toppers is their lunch. A small pizza and a side salad. When I added a soda and a tip, it was still less than $15. The fact that you can also go up to the Brew Deck and get a great view just adds to the atmosphere for this location.

Huge restaurant and bar. The bartender was rather abrupt and not friendly. Loved the pizza but the ordering process was confusing. They gave us a vibrating coaster so we assumed it meant our pizza was ready so I went to get it but they were going to deliver it to our table. This wasn't explained when ordering. The pizza came super fast - after a bathroom break, ordering beers and looking around, it was ready!

Some of the best pizza we've ever had!!! We shared two large pizzas and a salad bowl amongst 2 adults and 3 kids. We ate every scrap, but there was plenty of food. Highly recommend anyone thinking of going - just go!

I stopped by Toppers Pizza Place - 1076 E Front St today and got the salad bar, and it’s honestly one of my favorite places in Ventura for a great salad. Fresh, well-stocked, and always satisfying. I sat outside on the back patio, which is a really nice, relaxing place to eat. The atmosphere inside and out is great, and the whole restaurant has a welcoming feel. Best salad bar in Ventura in my opinion. Highly recommended!

I was visiting Ventura an thought I would give it a shot. Well I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a craft beer. Beer was very good and I would go back for that. The pizza was amazing, crust, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, the thing was cooked perfectly. Im sad I only tried the pepperoni as Im sure there are some other great specialty pizzas. Toppers is never about the pizza. The pizza is the least memorable part. It’s vanilla mediocre at best. The salad bar, where you can top it all off but with only one trip? My advice? Lots of layers. Use pressure to condense your veggies. Dressing. Cram in what you can and stack it high… The side salad goes a long way! The cheesy garlic bread went really well for our group of 9. We dined in the center circle, like hungry knights of the round table. Surrounded by an airy, open atmosphere. With happy cheers from the beers and drinks of the adjacent brewery. The decor is modern, artful, and relaxed. The staff were eager - but not too eager - to please. We were cravin’ but did not cave in to the cookie pizza ala mode. Our group left satiated and satisfied. While there are other Toppers all throughout Ventura County, this is one of the tops!

Had to go visit the new location and check it out. I heard it was a fusion of Topper's pizza joint and brewery in one. They didn't disappoint. The pizza 🍕 was bomb 💣 as usual. I order the spicy italian with the little roasted tomatos and hot sausage and the BBQ chicken pizza that has the cilantro and red onions... Awesome. The staff was great too.

The salad bar is always great at any toppers but I have to say the pizza was not what I expected or up to Toppers par. But I did enjoy the new Toppets with its kid friendly seating area and its modern decor its awesome. Plus enjoy a beer with the brewery located right door that's joined with toppers.

I remember it being better and almost feel like it is too hyped up. The pizza was good but just good. The salad bar was amazing but you only get one bowl so it doesn't seem like a good value. My mom loves their soda water that is free. Apparently the beers are expensive although I didn't order one this time. We couldn't sit outside because a group had taken it over and the booths are made more 4 people groups. Hard to fit 5 people groups inside.

First time here (recommendation from someone who lives here in town) and had a good time. The poppers were really good, being baked versus fried makes a BIG difference. For pizza, we got a Hot Honey which was pretty good, but nothing special. Got a Helles from Temptation (which is the other half of the building) which was very good. Will definitely come back.

Well, the pizza is still good.... not what it was before shrinkflation, but solid for sure. The dry rub wings are fantastic. Lemon pepper and holy moly, Lets Go! The staff are always friendly and helpful and the view from the deck (21yrs+ only) is amazing. Watching the sun set behind the islands into the sea while eating pizza and wings with a tasty beer - priceless.

Toppers Pizza, Highly recommended by locals of Santa Barbara, CA lthat I visited from out-of-town (Sacramento, CA Area). Well, they (my Co-Workers) are so right to put Toppers Pizza in high regards and praise. Forewarned that the Pizza is worth the price and that price point $12 for a small pizza "Toppers Combo Top Hit Combo". On this "combo", I requested as Half "combo" and Hawaiian style (Canadian Bacon & Pineaple). The toppings go to edge of the crust and plentiful and tasteful it was. I also sprang for some Hot Wings. The selection of sauce rubs include (Asian, Lemon Peper, BBQ and Nashville Hot). Selecting the Nashville Hot had a ting of sweet upon the bit of that crispy flavorful skin and then... that heat from the fried in sauce bites me back. Now, there is similar pizza of this style in Northern California Silicon Valley called "Stuft Pizza" very similar to that of "Toppers". In fact, they are very alike and both establishments are on equal playing field. So either in Ventura area or Fremont ( East Bay) areas, stop by the best pizzas of their respective areas. I have to rate Toppers Pizza at 4 Stars. Although, very delicious, a little high price point, it was worth it. However, unlike Stuft Pizza, they didn't honor Armed Forces or Veteran's status. Otherwise, the 5 Stars would have been a given. I recommend it.

Having spent my formative years on the East Coast with lots of Italians and great pizza, I know what a pizza should taste, look, and feel like. That being said; Toppers (and most pizzas in Calif) just don't measure up. The service is good, and the atmosphere is okay, bit can be loud especially when there is a game on.

I had a small 3 topping pizza for under 13$ add a tip and its still a good deal. The crust is good and not thick. It was not crunchy tho . Their sauce is tangy and sweet. Jalapeno toppings were a good amount except for the piece which was from the back end of a jalapeno. They use fresh mushrooms instead of canned.

The pizza is good but it's out of control expensive!!! It was $100 for one large pizza with two toppings, one small pizza with cheese, two small salads and one large salad (and the small salads are very small. I'm talking the size of one of your hands cupped.) And there really isn't much of a salad bar.(total ripoff!!) And four sodas. But the pizza was good. And the restaurant is really dirty. We went one time when there was really no one in there and none of the tables were bussed. We had to go from table to table to table to finally find a clean table. I can't believe it!!! Almost every single table was just filthy!! Another time we went in there and it was quite busy and we finally found a table and had to go look for somebody to bus that table and wipe it down. It's just weird that they don't have anyone cleaning tables All in all I felt that its way overpriced and not very clean. I will say though that I might order their pizza again but I will have it delivered. And only if I have extra money because like I said it's very expensive. I wish Little Caesars delivered 🤣

Updated review: I gave this location a five star review two years ago but I had to change it to a 2 star review due to my last two visits. For whatever reason their personal pizzas are coming out burnt. The crust is burnt, the cheese is burnt and the toppings are extra crispy. I pointed this out on all of our pizzas to the staff both times and they didn't seem to care about it or do anything about it. So that's the last time I go to that location. I have never had that issue at any of their other locations.

So inconsistent. You'd have to be drunk from that bar next door to accept a sandwich like this. And we ordered at 8, so it's not like we got it before they closed. And I normally like toppers, but this one kind of misses the mark here and there and I'm over supporting inconsistent food.

My family and I came to this Toppers location for our first time (near downtown Ventura) and immediately were disappointed. The two toppers associates (male and female) mandating the register did not greet us promptly (mind you there was no one in line). As we were waiting to be greeted or to be asked if we were ready to order, both Topper's associates waited in silence and created an awkward moment. After I made contact with the female associate and patiently waited she finally asked if we were ready. My immediate response was “Yes; are you?” I guess I should have just said yes, I am ready. At this point, everything got more uncomfortable. Upon concluding our order and walking away to get our drinks, my wife and son noticed that both associates were laughing at us (or me for that matter). Their laughter continued for a little while and noticed continued eye contact. This made us uncomfortable and upset to the point that I began to walk toward them to confront them and inquire about their behavior toward us. However, my wife reminded me that they are handling our food and we do not need to make things more uncomfortable. Overall, my family felt bullied, unwelcome, and disrespected. I am a native of Ventura County and have been a long-time patron of Topper’s Pizza. We will not part ways; however, we will never return to this location. I hope no one is subjected to this awful behavior, anywhere.

Horrible pre made crust. The cheese quality is cheap and thin and the crust is frozen premade. This is not a pizza. Food is coming from the supermarket and workers have their hands all over the food.

Attached to an awesome brewery. I’m gonna base my review on cost and variety. A food item unique to this location is chicken wings. They don’t use sauces, just dry seasoning. So, wrong place it you want something with a glaze, especially, bbq. Cost was over $20 for 8 pieces, including tax. Not worth it for me.

My family and I came here to enjoy some pizza and salad. Unfortunately my sisters salad wasn’t so good. Came with some protein in it. Aka a little critter. Very unsanitary and disgusting. These bugs must be all over their vegetables in the fridge? Thank you toppers pizza for adding a new protein to the menu! Wasn’t expecting to find a bug in any of our salads.
