A beautiful place to relax with friends. The lake water is calm and sandy on the bottom. You can enter gradually and it's suitable for families and children. However, the beach (after a week of rain) isn't very accessible; there are muddy areas. The bar is open, although unfortunately this isn't always the case, and you can rent a pedal boat. Beautiful.

I went this morning, Monday, June 14th, with my two seven-year-old twins. We were already there at 7:30. Given the day and time, we had no parking problems, but things change after a certain time: there are few parking spaces and you risk fines. The place is enchanting, quite isolated and hidden (although isolated places don't exist on Google Maps...). Grass, trees with the possibility of shade. The lake is a body of water. Clear and transparent, with a sandy bottom. The water is very shallow at the beginning and then gradually rises. Suitable for little ones who can play safely. The rustic beach itself deserves all 4 stars. A couple of observations and criticisms regarding the setting, but it's not the place's fault. The bar is still closed on June 14th. People with dogs despite the ban, I have nothing against dogs (I have two), but if there is a ban... And above all, excrement not collected. I found everything very dirty, due to "Sunday" tourism: bottles, masks, and tons of discarded flip-flops (they must have paid a few euros for those flip-flops!!!). It's truly a pitiful sight, due to the lack of respect for others and nature. If I had a bag and gloves, I would have cleaned up myself. For the record, around 11:00 a.m., with the beach already quite crowded, a gentleman came by to collect the largest piece of garbage. It's a real shame that the rudeness of a few people is ruining such a beautiful place. I hope the situation improves with the bar open.

French fries, mojitos, spritzes, all good at fair prices, but I have a few points to make: If I order fries that cost €5 on the menu, and you give me two packets of sauces without me asking, you can't charge 30 cents each. Then if I ask for the pedal boat, you tell me to get in line, I wait 10 minutes, and then you can't tell me it's booked until the next two hours. You tell me right away, so I can decide whether to wait in line or not.

Why is the bar closed on a sunny Sunday afternoon in August? The hours on Google show it's open, and we came specifically to rent some SUPs and have a drink. Closed without any explanation.

We waited an hour for a sandwich and a bruschetta, which had probably been forgotten. When we asked, after a 40-minute wait, the blond guy taking orders behind the counter told us he wasn't from there (?) and then turned away. The food was okay, nothing special. The prices, in my opinion, were very high for what the place offers and for the location.

Good morning. I've been frequenting this beach for two years now, and I want to point out that the lake and beach are the best in the Verbania area, including for me. I give the bar a 3-star rating, neutral, and now I'll explain why. The bar is an essential service for a beach with many families and young people. On a beach with very little parking, where you have to arrive at 8:30 to find a spot, a bar that doesn't open until 10 and doesn't have croissants for breakfast seems unthinkable. Closing at 7:00 PM. Same thing. In such a beautiful place, you can't have dinner or an aperitif except for a take-out pizza, with the bar closed and terrible. The self-service checkout service is good, but it's not very functional and not maximized. Prices, in my opinion, are out of reach. A ham pizza for €9 on a paper plate seems a bit excessive. Prices are like a pizzeria with service, hoping they're not frozen; I've never tried them. Good pedal boat, canoe, and board rental service. Bathrooms are often inaccessible, but this is due to structural problems and the fault of the people who leave them in such a pitiful state. In short, a very useful bar, but in my opinion, it's undervalued. It's true that it's only been open for four months, but it could do more. Organize themed evenings, happy hours, etc. Since it's managed, I don't know if it's their fault or the owners', but it's a waste. I can think of a myriad of things to do in a charming location like this. I'll continue to frequent it, hoping for a quick improvement.

I don't think there's been any worse management in all these years. The sad thing is that, being the only kiosk, it still manages to operate well without putting in the slightest effort. The exorbitant prices, the spritzes made with Moscato, the tables left lying around, and not even a single wipe, but what really shocked me was seeing only two trash cans on the entire beach... every time you have to go to the bar to take out your trash, and by mid-afternoon, the trash is dumped at the foot of the bin, so full is it... it's shameful that a bar that has a monopoly on the beach doesn't deign to keep it clean.

Google Maps says parking costs €30, but on the spot they simply said €50, without any explanation. Frankly, I can't give the Rustica Beach Bar more than one star. It's truly awful. It's a bar on a small beach that already sees its first guests at 8 in the morning in the summer, and the bar is still closed, ditto at 9 and 10. Often, it even opens at 11. So if you're hoping for a coffee or breakfast, it's impossible. They rent beach loungers, but if you arrive at 9, you have to wait for them to open, and even if they open at 11, they charge you for the whole day—absurd. Poorly stocked; every time you ask for a type of ice cream, it's sold out by the time they open. High prices. For a frozen, oven-baked Margherita pizza, they charge €6—insane. There's no separate waste collection. They have a few bins, but only for general waste, so either you take them home and sort your waste, or it all goes together. The worst thing is the bathrooms. Dirty, dirty, dirty. They aren't kept clean in any way, and the rudeness of the people adds to the rest. It's unacceptable that there are no trash cans in a bathroom and that people leave baby diapers and nothing else lying around. It's a shame, because they're missing a great opportunity to make a bar with great potential work magnificently. The beach is quiet but poorly maintained; it's more of a small swamp than a lawn. In fact, if it rained the night before, forget about laying out your towel. There's no one to enforce compliance with the rules, such as the no-dog rule (which personally wouldn't bother me), but the dogs are there, and no-ball play, but they can play. If rules are put in place, let's make sure they're respected.
