The Bar Principe of the Bordonaro brothers on Viale Garibaldi is a café and tobacconist: its name originates from the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy to the city of Vercelli in October 1929, on that extraordinary and unrepeatable occasion, the son of the King of Italy entered this café. Since then, this place has changed its name from Gambrinus to Bar Principe. Thanks to its strategically prime location, right at the crossroads between Porta Torino and Porta Milano, a family-friendly atmosphere and guaranteed openness at all times, this venue has, over the decades, assumed a central role, esteemed as a meeting place for the conviviality and socializing of the Vercelli community. From breakfasts to aperitifs, excellent service, courtesy, and the owners' utmost willingness to satisfy their guests' needs. The spacious outdoor terrace, located on the main Viale Garibaldi, is airy and sunny during the spring and summer seasons. During the summer, events with music are organized, and during the European and World Cups, all football matches are shown on a large outdoor screen, much to my delight. I attend with deep participation out of my great love for my country, where I defend and express my deep-rooted patriotism. A must-visit.

Buona cucina veloce e curata. Personale rustico ma molto disponibile. Locale in pausa pranzo feriale decisamente affollato. Se affollato vuol dire che prezzo e qualità vadano a braccetto. Bravi.

Hanno un ottimo servizio, soprattutto per il fatto che si può mangiare, magari per chi ha poco tempo e non puo tornare a casa e cucinare questo è il posto giusto per degustare primi, secondi e contorni del giorno preparati da loro.. parmigiana ed il pollo al forno con le patate da me mangiate erano squisite.. quindi lo consiglio 💪🏽😉

One of Vercelli's historic bars, with friendly owners and table service. I can't give it five stars due to the limited selection of pastries, although when I was there, Vercelli was celebrating the Alpine troops, so there weren't many pastries available. The girl serving the tables was very friendly and helpful, and the guy was also friendly. My only regret was the woman in charge of the coffee, who, being alone, had a lot to do, but honestly, I didn't like her very much; she was rude and, in my opinion, a bit lost in her orders. There's room for improvement.

Most weird cappuccino I ever drank in Italy was this one. It seemed like the last night's leftover was heated up in microwave and served. The only thing good about this spot is the location outdoor. At least their replies to the complaining reviews make you laugh.
