We decided to try this restaurant and were truly delighted. We had two first courses and three different second courses, all accompanied by excellent wine. The cuisine is truly fantastic, original, and lets you experience the true flavor of traditional dishes. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, and the desserts are also incredible... Everything is prepared in-house, and to finish, we tasted some of their own grappas. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

Simply wonderful. Dishes feature exquisite ingredients (top-notch cheeses from various sources) while still maintaining the flavors you'd expect from a mountain lodge like this. First courses are superb, from chocolate maltagliati to ravioli with fragrant black truffle and chanterelle mushrooms. The desserts are enormous and mouthwatering. The friendliness and cleanliness complement the experience perfectly. It's our first time here, but we'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

Very nice place to take a rest of a bike ride and have a lunch. I went for a Polenta with mushrooms and 6 types of cheese. It was delicious!

The restaurant is always a guarantee. We ate typical products in generous portions and piping hot (which isn't always the case). The second courses were excellent. The baked potatoes were delicious. The polenta taragna is also the closest thing to its name among those I've eaten in these parts.

We stopped here by chance before taking a walk in the beautiful Scalve Valley. The restaurant is very quaint and offers typical local dishes. The food is excellent, but I recommend ordering one course at a time as it's very generous. Reservations are recommended as it's very popular, but the wait is minimal. Excellent quality and price.

You'll want to try it, you'll be back! Typical local dishes, tasty, plentiful, and served with courtesy by the wait staff. Excellent and surprising wine list (Petrus, Tignanello, Sassicaia...at very fair prices). We opted for two appetizers with taragna (wow!) and the ever-present delicious casoncelli (homemade, like most of the fresh pasta). We had the opportunity to tour their cellar with the owner's son, who was extremely helpful and kind. In short, in my day, they used to say, "Seeing is believing!" We'll definitely be back!

From the outside, you wouldn't give the place much thought, but once you sit down... surprise! Authentic mountain cuisine, abundant and tasty dishes. We tried game dishes and traditional specialties: risotto with chanterelles, sliced ​​venison cooked to perfection and polenta taragna and mushrooms as a side dish The portions are really generous, so much so that I asked for a doggy bag and enjoyed it the next day too. Prices are more than fair considering the quantity and quality: for two we had a first course, a second course, water, a glass of wine and a side dish of polenta and mushrooms, spending 57 euros in total. I will definitely return, especially for the meat and game: their strong point!

One of the best porcini mushroom risottos I've ever eaten. The mixed grill with polenta was also excellent, although some cuts were perhaps a little overcooked. All in all, we ate well, and the service was friendly and fast.

I was returning from a hike and hadn't booked; nevertheless, I managed to have lunch. The restaurant is very well-kept (including the restrooms) and simple; the staff is courteous and always available to explain the dishes or answer off-menu requests. The food isn't skimpy... quite the opposite... I was surprised by the wine list, which highlights the highest quality and premium wines. The prices are average, but in line with the quality of the food and service.

A well-deserved 5-star rating. Excellent cuisine, exceptional flavors, quick service, even though the dishes are served slightly staggered, but no one dies for 2 minutes... I highly recommend booking!!!! Compliments on the homemade pasta... €45.00 well spent! Not all dishes were photographed 😅🤷. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, and if there's no space, there's another parking lot 200 meters away. I'll definitely be back!!!
