2nd visit in ten years. Great flat pitches on the terraces. Good location near to Bormio and the Stelvio Pass. Lovely pizza restaurant. Shame there are only 2 European toilets, it's like being back in Morocco having to squat for the toilet. Also have to pay for showers.

Food, especially the sciatt, is great. Staff are great. Owner, that you pay at the end of the meal, is a sour faced lady that has never smiled in the 6 times Ive been there...doesnt do anything at all. Zero personality and doesnt even say thankyou after you pay. Really dislike her but everything else is cool.

Bas Marquering

Nice small campsite. Owner only speaks Italian. Great base for cycling to Stelvio or other passes in the area. Toilets could be cleaned more often. You need a 1 Euro coin for the shower. It will give you around 5 minutes of hot water. Views from most of the pitches are marvelous. Pitches are not very large. Restaurant on site is good. Good value for money. Lots of locals seem to eat here.

Not the most secluded location right next to a main road, its about 6km outside of Bormio. The facilities are decent and the camping spots flat. Its the Pizzaria that IS AMAZING. I would stay there again just for the food.

Delicious meal, big quantities, fair taste, but with no big expectations. The serving personnel is there, they move fast, but you feel like in a cantina sometimes. You will not get out hungry for sure.

We passed this camping on our way to the Stelvio pass and stayed there one night. It seemed many people who went there weren't staying for long. The location of the camping is nice, as you can walk into the forest directly from the camping. The reception double-serves as a restaurant that is popular among the locals. I was not impressed with the sanitary facilities: there were many squat toilets and only a few normal ones. Showers cost a euro for about five minutes, and there was absolutely no place to leave your dry clothes/towel while showering. The people at the reception speak good English.

We were here 2 couples. We didn't liked the bathrooms, to dirty and bad smelling. For a small camping like this one the toilets must be impeccable! We also didn't like the payment showers. 1€/shower. What is the tax per person for ? Air? We also don't agree with the car tool idea. So, you pay a site for the tent and you have to pay extra to park your car on the same site. Check out before 10 a.m. Yeah... Wake up at 6 am just to be ready at 10 am the do the check out in time. The average camping sites have the 12pm checkout

Nice place, we've been to the restaurant and not to the camping so I'll speak just about the restaurant. The location is good with a classic mountain stamp. Food quality is average, not really the best Valtellinese food but it is ok. Prices are standard. What makes me give only 2 stars is that, after 45 minutes without being served, I had to ask to the waitress why it was taking so long for our plates to come and she said that they forgot about our table. When we had to pay, I've found that we were charged of 2 more plates, that we didn't order. We've been refunded of course but this experience doesn't make me want to come again.

The Italian hostess is extremely unfriendly and should do a 101 course on hospitality. This is opinion of everybody who we met on the camping. They can probably get away with it, because it is the only camping in/around Bormio. Having that said, the pizza's are pretty good (but you can't eat them on the patio...). The showers are warm but cost a euro (don't mind the euro, but do mind the nuisance). The roads on the campground are very steep. The sanitary ok, but outdated. Bormio is fantastic and that makes up for most but the witch at the front office...

Disapponted, after a long day you have to pay for the shower extra 1euro/4min ?????? We spent 120 euro for a night and dinner. And shower for 1 euro??? A couldnt belive it . I traveld all over the world never seen something like this. Whats next you have to pay exrta to brush yout theets?
