A wonderful restaurant, perfect in every way! The staff were charming and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Even if you're not a fan of seafood, there are some delicious alternatives to choose from. I can’t imagine anyone giving this place less than five stars. We enjoyed our experience so much that we dined here twice during our stay. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this little gem while trying to find a late night dinner restaurant. They were gracious enough to keep the kitchen open past normal hours to accommodate us. There was a wonderful buzz of people sitting inside and outside. Our waiter was kind and friendly and did his best to explain the handwritten menu despite the language barrier. We would recommend this place to any travelers and will gladly return again!

In the summer, I enjoyed an excellent dinner outside on the pedestrian street leading to the beautiful town center. This time, I returned in the winter for lunch, comfortably seated inside the unique and eccentrically furnished "Promesse da marinaio" restaurant. We were always served by the welcoming owner, who presented us with his restaurant's signature dishes, and I must say, I didn't miss a single course. The octopus with panissa was excellent (try it!), and the tartar was made with excellent ingredients. Each dish showcases the flavors and culinary culture of the Ligurian Riviera. Fish-based and carefully prepared. The mussels are excellent, the fried fish is dry and tasty, and the pasta dishes, such as linguine with squid ink or the fish gnocchi, are a delight. The only flaw I could find in this restaurant is perhaps the service, which slows down as the restaurant fills up. But on the other hand, you need to take your time to enjoy each dish; this isn't a quick business lunch. Finally, the price is fair given the quality and location. Just step outside and you're already on the beach for a digestive stroll. Enjoy your meal.

Perhaps the best restaurant experienced in two weeks in the country. Attention to details, a caring and attentive owner, all for a fraction of prices paid elsewhere. Super fresh fish cooked to perfection (dorado), the most delicious anchovy soup, great gnocchi, tender fresh polpe (octopus) with grilled vegetables. Deserts were stupendous. A great white Pigato from Le Crêuze. Top-notch chef. The owner accommodated our desire to sit outside when the locals in their down jackets and scarves sat inside with doors closed. Thanks again. Do yourself a favor and eat there!

Servizio impeccabile, di una gentilezza genuina. Cibo ottimo anche se super caro specialmente i dessert che vanno dagli 8 ai 10 euro, però antipasti primi e secondi meritano.

Piccolo e riservato ristorante all'inizio del centro storico di Varigotti. Personale molto gentile e disponibile a soddisfare il cliente anche solo nella spiegazione del cibo. Anche se il menù non ha molta scelta è buono nella sua semplicità. Veloce il servizio. Consigliato.

A very elegant little restaurant in the heart of Varigotti, just steps from the sea. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. Fresh seafood and well-prepared dishes, especially the homemade pasta dishes and desserts. The service is friendly and helpful, though it can be a bit slow on busy evenings. Prices are moderately high, but justified by the quality and location. Overall, a great experience.

Everything is good, but expensive—first courses are around €20, and second courses are around €25-30. For a small restaurant with no view or special pretensions, I found it a bit overpriced. They don't offer wine by the glass, only half bottles, which are also quite expensive. Four stars because the food is very good.
