TOP LOCALE IN TORINO 🖤
Ottimo cibo, personale molto simpatico, gentile e professionale.
Good
I returned to Turin after eight years and couldn't wait to return to Macherè. I ate there for both lunch and dinner and can only confirm the wonderful impressions I left. I immediately felt at home, just like I did years ago. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly, the atmosphere family-friendly, and the dishes prepared with care and passion. And what can I say about the pizza? It's the best in Turin, and beyond. It's definitely their strong point: light dough, quality ingredients, and a huge selection. The "Carlo" is my favorite; perfect pizza exists! The first courses are also highly recommended, and especially the desserts, prepared with love. I can't wait to go back.
1 Pizza + 1 Cola 20€ Very tasty. Napolitano style 100%. If you visit the Turin try to visit this place.
A small and cozy pizzeria, recommended by friends in Turin. The only downside is the stairs leading up to the entrance, making it difficult to access with a stroller. This is offset by the foldable changing table in the small bathroom (unlike larger restaurants). The owner is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pizza is very good, as are the pasta dishes. The menu is extensive, but perhaps a bit overwhelming, considering the daily menu and a second blackboard menu in addition to the already extensive paper menu. A welcoming place. Reservations are recommended. Definitely worth a try!
Wow that's a really good find! The restaurant is just across the road from Porta Susa so ideal if you're visiting. They offer an extensive menu of Southern Italian dishes in abundant portions, as well making their own pizzas. I'll definitely go back again. Please note the restaurant is very small and gets very busy especially in the evening so book in advance and no, if you have luggage with you this isn't suitable as there would be no room for your belongings (besides it's up a couple of steps too)
We called in for lunch having just got off our train from Paris and with some time before our next train on to Florence. What a great find this restaurant was! My wife's special requirements were understood and accommodated (even with our very limited grasp of Italian), and all our food was excellent. We had very friendly treatment and we'll certainly be back if ever in the area, and we recommend Macherè to everyone.
Super
Dinner on September 8, 2022. Semi-central location, near Piazza Benefica (where you can park, at least in the evening). Small place, although perhaps I should say cozy because you feel at ease, thanks to the attentiveness and courtesy of the owner (along with his brother who runs the kitchen). Tables aren't very spaced apart, due to the structural limitations of the place, but the acoustics are very good. The menu is quite extensive, almost exclusively Cilento, with tasty and plentiful cuisine that tastes of home and tradition. The tagliatelle (although, given their size, I'd call them more pappardelle) with porcini mushrooms are exceptional, homemade, thick and al dente, well-seasoned, and plentiful. The musciuncielli, fried dough balls with zucchini flowers, are a must-try. You can also opt for pizzas. Homemade desserts. The service is courteous and attentive, but don't rush. In my opinion, the only flaw is the very limited wine list, perhaps dictated by a clientele more oriented towards beer. I really appreciate the fact that no one rushes diners to clear their tables. The price is reasonable. This opinion has been consolidated after a few years of frequenting the restaurant. Food rating: 8.5 Atmosphere rating: 9.5
My girlfriend and I went to this place last night, Thursday, February 14, 2019. We were greeted almost immediately and shown to our reserved table. The menu for first courses, second courses, and appetizers is written on the wall/blackboard, indicating that it's a menu that changes regularly to ensure fresh ingredients. The à la carte menu, however, offers pizzas. I didn't even look at the classic pizzas; I immediately went for the special ones, each one better than the last, but in the end I chose the "Carlo" (pictured), a white pizza with Bra sausage, regular sausage, 'Nduja, spicy salami, olives, and an excellent tomino cheese (I hope I didn't forget anything). The pizza arrived after a short wait, just the time it took to prepare and cook. Nothing to say, other than excellent. One of the best pizzas ever, especially considering I didn't wake up that night to drink water like a camel, which is something I do even when I eat good pizza. The ingredients, besides being plentiful, were delicious, much to my delight. Once the pizza was finished, it was time for dessert, a cake (unfortunately I don't have a photo of it; I wanted to eat it, not photograph it :D) with ricotta and pistachio, which also comes in a hazelnut version. The cake was lovely, warm, and soft, and the waiter was kind enough to provide us with two forks and a double side of cream, instead of just one. We couldn't finish the meal without a coffee, which was also excellent. Maybe it was the blend, maybe it was the machine, I don't know, but it was excellent. When it came to the bill, there was also the surprise of a discount. In summary The waiter was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The pizza, dessert, and coffee were superb. Bill: two specialty pizzas (beautiful, generous, and delicious), a dessert, a coffee, a draft beer, and a draft soft drink = €40. TOP!
Trattoria and pizzeria serving Cilento cuisine. Small and cozy, with extremely friendly staff. The food is excellent, and the pizza is truly original, made with all the freshest ingredients. You can even have the pizza with a whole tomino cheese on top or with chopped pistachios. Since we discovered it, it's become one of our go-to places for a great meal and a home-away-from-home feel. Highly recommended!
Great pizza and really gentle and kind service!!! They always have special pizzas and dough of the day! Go and enjoy! !!

Finally, something original in Turin's restaurant scene. Authentic, exquisite Cilento cuisine with a wide array of flavors. Minimal frills and plenty of substance, from the unmissable Macarè appetizer to the first and second courses of seafood and meat, not to mention the excellent Neapolitan-style pizzas. Family-run, they carefully select their ingredients (even the cover charge is excellent: homemade bread made on site) and chef Raffaele's preparations, all without breaking the bank. I'll be back at the first opportunity.
I can't decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing that the place is small... small, because sometimes I can't find a seat, but at the same time it's a warm place; the owner is professional, very friendly, he deserves all my respect, without neglecting the excellent products and the tasty combinations of them!!! 😜💪👏👏👏🤩
I have only visited once and tried the pizza with fresh mozzarella. It was really great. The atmosphere is great. Recommended for family dinner or a bunch of friends.
Ok
Would not allow us in because we had bags with us. Only one table full at lunchtime, but the guy behind the counter just wagged his finger at us and told us to leave.
