As real as it gets. Went here on a recommendation from the Hilton concierge and boy does he know great restaurants at great prices….thanks Pio. Wife and I had two dishes from their extensive and beautifully prepared menu. They only serve traditional dishes from a very specific region of Italy so be prepared to eat REAL Local Italian food.

I have a gluten allergy and found this restaurant on my GF app, but MAN did it deliver for both me and my husband. It is tucked away on a quiet side street and you really feel like you are enjoying a family's cooking. We were immediately greeted and given a history of their family's background and they were extremely attentive to my allergies. The stuffed pasta and tiramisu were some of the best I've ever had, I can't recommend this stop enough!

Spectacular dinner! We were staying at the Hilton Milan just around the corner and went out on a stroll to find dinner - stumbled upon this gem of a place and could not have made a better choice. The staff were friendly and let us know this was not your typical Italian, they did not serve pizza and their menu changes based on season. We ordered duck and a steak salad - both were incredible. The duck was bursting with flavor! My partner kept repeating “this was fantastic” over and over! He very much enjoyed the meal! We also ordered 2 desserts which were delicious! Thanks for an incredible dining experience!

Although they were reluctant to have me dine there and take a nice sidewalk seat, they helped set expectations of what they do not serve. Dinner was great! All from Piacentia province. The baked onion, tortellini, and dessert was great. My waiter matched a nice white wine for me that went well. Thank you for a wonderful dinner in Milano! Second visit was great too.

I went here spontaneously on the last night before leaving Milan and luckily got a table even without a reservation. Eating out alone can be a bit of a lonely experience, but the staff was very friendly and made me feel at home immediately. The food is a little different from the Italian cuisine you might be used to, but very good. Overall a great experience! 🙏

Just walking on the streets and I happened upon this place, a Sunday midday. With no reservation the host was able to seat me quickly. The food, from the starter through the coffee, was phenomenal. The cook staff all make everything fresh in the tiny kitchen in the back, which you can watch while you wait, if you want. There is also a menu in English with pictures of all the food. Highly enjoyable and very satisfying lunch!

I had a really tasty dinner at Barzac - I chose the more left field/non-traditional options of prawn ravioli with apple and duck with shortcrust crumbs and I enjoyed both of them (though the duck was too sweet for my partner). The servers were very nice and welcoming and recommended me a sparkling red wine which I liked a lot. I definitely would recommend to check it out, I’d like to go back for the more traditional piacentino dishes.

Lovely little restaurant out of the way on a somewhat quiet street. Piacenza cuisine, my first time trying it. A bit different from what you might expect but they have a good menu book with photos and explanations. The waiters were charming and helpful. Very sweet. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We were so stuffed that we couldn’t eat dessert. Recommended!

Ravioli was very good. Potatoes were good. Salad was very fresh… expected the lemon to be better being in Italy. The lemons in Sicily and Naples at this time of year were unbelievable!! Great staff and service, cute place! Update: I ordered two side dishes because I am vegan and do not eat pasta or grains…. Just vegetables. I was limited.
