A welcoming, rustic atmosphere awaits you in this restaurant, serving truly exquisite dishes. Perfect for those who love cheese focaccia or chickpea farinata, typical Ligurian dishes. A great opportunity to share and sample different dishes, just like we did... after a generous portion of farinata with crescenza cheese, we savored a delicious and authentic Recco focaccia "pizzata," with tomato, olives, and anchovies! Fair prices, in my opinion, and there's no cover charge. I'll definitely be back soon; my family is a regular!

Very nice chill bar/restaurant/shop with cool atmosphere. Excellent service 👌🏻 Delicious food! For so long we were looking for a Ligurian style thin focaccia with melted cheese & ham in Northern Italy and it’s the first time we found it since our trip to Recco 😍 Pizetta, mixed salad and farinata (fried pie from chickpeas) were also very good! Definitely recommend this place!

We returned to this wonderful traditional eatery and were not disappointed. The farinata was mouthwateringly delicious and the pan cooked pizzas were a pleasure to consume. The service was just what was required with friendly and caring staff. A definite must when next we return to Novi

Lovely staff who took care of us coupled with tasty food. The farinata is freshly made and we could see the cooking by the chef on the basement level. Ambience is nice and they have more seating across the place. The baked small pizzas were nice too and the tiramisu was just okay. Not much options for vegetarians but they custom made the pizza for us. Overall a really cool place to grab food.

Everything was excellent! The farinata was very good, cooked to perfection. The cheese focaccia and pizzas were also excellent. The portions are small, but the prices are also low, so you can try more than one item. The tiramisu for dessert was also exceptional. Overall, a great place and highly recommended. It's not very big, so it's best to reserve a table or you risk a wait. It's also recommended by the Slow Food guide to Italian Osterias.

Piacevole scoperta nel centro di Novi, si presenta come un piccolo ristorante molto alla mano con al posto delle sedie degli sgabelli, menù incentrato sulla farinata ma con deliziose pizzette e focacce. Farinata per l’appunto molto buona con crosticina sopra e possibilità di affiancarci altri ingredienti😋 Personale gentile 👍🏼 Manca una stella per il tiramisù che non mi ha preso 🤷🏼‍♂️ Sicuramente da provare per chi non lo conosce e da tornarci presto

Novi Ligure sorge nel cosiddetto " basso Piemonte " Tra l'Appennino Ligure e le colline del Monferrato. Nelle campagne si possono scorgere i filari di vite molto noti tra Novi e Gavi. La farinata,la focaccia Novese e altre bontà tipiche si possono degustare in queste zone. Il Banco è un luogo che suggerisco per gli avventori Locale storico in una stradina di Novi Ligure. La farinata è il loro punto forza, ottima. Croccante fuori, morbida dentro, non spessa ,molto digeribile. Le pizzette...un altro prodotto da provare. La location è storica e alcuni dettagli la rendono unica nel suo genere. La carta dei vini è ben selezionata. Il servizio è adeguato senza troppi orpelli. Il giusto. Vale la pena ogni tanto farci un salto anche per provare altre specialità tipiche.

Siamo stati per una cena di lavoro e nell'insieme si é mangiato bene,anche se le frittelle di baccalà erano nel menú e sulla lavagna ma realmente non c'erano. Personale preparato e cordiale. Una piacevole serata.

My second experience at this lovely restaurant, which also has a shop attached. The dishes are few, mostly traditional, but the ingredients are excellent and the service is friendly: a family with two children who don't make a reservation on a fair day isn't always welcomed. Excellent farinata, a superb charcuterie and cheese platter, and delicious pan pizzas, cheese focaccia, and chocolate crepes. The only downside, perhaps, is the price of the platter compared to the rest.

We shared a large farinata, peppers as an appetizer, and two portions of fried panissa. With water, we paid a total of €32. It was all really good! The staff was also incredibly friendly!! After a day of walking and a late train to Novi Ligure, it was wonderful to find such a warm welcome from the place. We'll definitely be back!!

Small, friendly wine bar with many interesting dishes, and with jazz background music was refreshing after many dinners in many of Lecce's restaurants. Recommended.

Locale rustico per degustare un pezzo di Piemonte… ho assaggiato l’antipasto piemontese. Servizio semplice ma veloce. Arredi di un tempo con particolari di antiquariato non consueti. Il resto del menù non presentava particolari piatti degni di nota. La prossima volta prenderò la cima con salsa verde e sono pronto a farmi stupire.

Golden Silver

A historic and very popular restaurant in Novi Ligure. Unfortunately, Saturday, September 27th, it didn't live up to expectations. The farinata (€11) was disappointing, undercooked, very pale, and almost raw. The Ligurian appetizer (€15) was poor, with a slice of cima in salsa verde, a panissa (which didn't arrive), and two anchovies. The ice cream was excellent.

Farinata ahimè non più buona come un tempo, rapporto qualità prezzo deludente, caffè 2 €. Finalmente abbiamo trovato un caffè che costa più dell’Autogrill. Una classica e semplice margherita vince 10 a 1.
