A beautiful place in the narrow streets of Sampierdarena. The atmosphere is friendly, thanks to Maury, the owner, who is always very approachable and helpful. They also have a wide selection of beers and late-night refreshments available. Highly recommended!

An Irish-style pub on a side street off Via Cantore. The food is good and plentiful at below-average prices. The owner is friendly and welcoming, with a hint of Genoese wit. I'll be back! Great selection of draft and canned beers. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere!

Mr. Mauricio was a very kind host. The bar has a great atmosphere. It's primarily a place for beer lovers, but you'll also find plenty of good drinks and small snacks. It's a small, yet charming spot!

This place saved us from boredom! Although we didn't expect it, the place was very comfortable for five young tourists. The owner, Mr. Mauricio, welcomed us like his own family! The prices are very reasonable. Bar Big Ben should be much more well-known and appreciated. We will definitely be back next time we're in Genoa!

Mauri's bar is a perfect place to sit with friends, chat, and have fun. Mauri, the owner, is always knowledgeable about all the types of beer available, which vary in flavor, strength, origin, and color. So if you're not sure what to get, you can always ask for advice based on your tastes. He might seem gruff at first, but once you get to know him, you'll realize he cares about what he does and his customers. He's incredibly friendly; don't be put off by a friendly tease! I haven't had a chance to try the food yet, but as soon as I do, I'll update the reviews.

Having lived there for years, I miss it dearly for its beers and the family atmosphere that the good host offers in classic Genoese style, but above all for the events he occasionally organizes, which are always successful and full of patrons. If you're just a drunkard and, what's more, a nuisance, I warn you: stay away; you'll never be welcome, neither by the host nor by the other patrons.

This is a truly fantastic place, with a vast selection of excellent beers, all listed and explained. There's a beer for every taste, and if you're a true beer lover, you'll love this English-style pub. You can tell right away that the owner is a serious guy: - He always knows how to recommend the right beer; - He uses a separate glass for each beer to better showcase its flavor. The prices are fair, considering you can get as much fries and roasted, salted peanuts as you want. This is a place for connoisseurs, even when it comes to food: the burgers are truly excellent, and there's a wide selection of sandwiches. The best? The hot dog. Also noteworthy is the bruschetta, which is excellent shared to accompany your beer. I'll conclude by praising the interior design, which makes you feel right at home in London.

Fantastic place!!!!!!!! "Real pub" style... Excellent selection of beers both on tap and in bottles. The sandwiches and piadinas are good, but the burgers or even a simple mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses are even better. The quality seems excellent to me. I have to tell the truth: "the few times I've been there it was a blast. I had a really good time...." I recommend it both to Genoese who don't know it and to tourists who happen to pass by the area..... Really nice

Grande mauri, number one

il locale tenta di offrire un ambiente particolare ma, direi senza riuscirvi. Offre comunque una discreta scelta di birre e alcune proposte alimentari (bruschette, panini e piatti). Purtroppo l'igiene non sembra eccelsa. I prezzi non sono eccessivi.

Mi piace andarci perche e un posto un po alternativo anche rispetto ai soliti pub ..... il suo fascino sta prprio nel sembrare un po trascurato.... e cmq si bevono birre ottime e si mangiano hamburger buonissimi.. merita davvero
