Trovato quasi per caso, è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa, piatti ben cucinati, alta qualità. Chef con ottima mano. Personale di sala (proprietario?) impeccabile, discreto, preciso. Staff giovane. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Pro: Piatti ricercati, raffinati e di qualità a prezzo ragionevole. Contro: porzioni non abbondanti ma che rispecchiano la scelta del locale di favorire la qualità alla quantità.

Locale semplice ma molto carino, servizio ottimo come anche la cucina che valorizza al meglio le materie prime che utilizza.

Ci ritorniamo sempre volentieri, ieri ad esempio per assaggiare il nuovo menu estivo. A pochi passi da Piazza Lavagna, offre un perfetto mix tra cucina italiana e peruviana. Ceviche top e anche il tiradito; la focaccia fatta in casa è buonissima.Servizio super e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche considerando che le porzioni sono abbondanti.

Chef Peruviano molto bravo, cucina mista peruviana/italiana. Qualità molto molto alta. Personale molto cordiale e gentile. Locale molto carino all’interno con ottima musica jazz in sottofondo. Da tornarci di sicuro

Abbiamo mangiato in 7 persone, siamo tutti soddisfatti. Prezzo leggermente sopra la media, ma cibo e ambiente piacevole.

Completamente inaspettato! Ottima trattoria Italo-peruviana, piccolina, tipica conduzione famigliare, con pochi piatti e qualche piatto del giorno fuori menù a dir poco deliziosi! Nota di merito per le tagliatelle al ragù e il brownie con mousse al cioccolato fatti in casa! Per non parlare della focaccia calda al posto del pane! Altamente consigliato, complimenti per il servizio!

Sono stato qui domenica 23/02, classico pranzo in famiglia, eravamo solo noi e un'altro tavolo. Ristorantino caratteristico di cucina italo-peruviana, si trovano piatti italiani di pesce e carne anche rivisitati, ma anche di tradizione sudamericana, tutto molto buono. L’accoglienza è tanta e il personale è molto gentile. prezzi forse leggermente sopra la media, ma considerando anche la comodità (a pochi passi dal porto antico) onestamente ne vale la pena. Ci ritornerò😉. ps. provate il manzo e riso con le cipolle e pomodori saltati in padella 😋

Had a delicious meal here -- nettle tagliatelle with tomato pesto and burratta, ligurian fish of the day, and the pasta with Bolognese sauce were highlights but everything was very good. Friendly staff and casual easy-going vibes. Recommended!

The food was a 10/10. Its a small but very nice restaurant in oldtown Genova. The waitress was super nice. The food was so good. You could taste how fresh everything was and the flavour profile of the dishes was great. We ordered the fried cod, nettle tagliatelle with tomato pesto, grilled octopus and steak with fennel and orange salad. As a dessert we had tiramisu and it was out of this world, so creamy, light and perfectly sweet. Sadly we discovered this restaurant on the last day of our stay otherwise we would be eating theumany more times

The food was incredible and I can't say enough nice things about the staff. Got lucky that we found it while taking a nice walk through the carrugi. Eating here and walking around the neighborhood was the highlight of my day-trip to Genova. I can't wait to go back.

The food is creative and delicious, but not fussy. They practice a clean way of cooking that makes the tastes of local ingredients stand out. Service is lovely. Moreover, I forgot my scarf and the server chased me for a long block to give it back to me. This is the sort of kindness I have previously seen only in Japan. I also liked the bright design of the place. Clearly, thought was given to making a spot of light in the typically Genoese narrow alleyway. I found it by accident and I was so glad I did.

We had a really lovely dinner here. The lady was really friendly, I think it was just her and one chef in total! The food was delicious, especially the tortellini were absolutely incredible! Would definitely return if I ever find myself in Genova again.

Couldn’t recommend it more! Excellent food and product. We had incredible pasta dishes and tuna, and wished we had more space to try the entire menu! The place is simple, no frills, but we liked that it wasn’t pretentious. We really hope more people make their way to RetroCucina to discover this hidden gem with amazing food and service!

Absolutely delicious food and wine, and really lovely friendly staff. Had the fabulous mushroom and chestnut crepe, and creamed cod to start; followed by a mussel pasta, and then a chestnut crumble dessert to finish off. Each course was unbelievably tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Easily the best meal we had while staying in Genoa. We had the Chestnut pancake and cod for starters. Both were wonderful. We had 4 different main courses, 2 fish, one meat and pasta, and one vegetarian pasts dish. All were excellent. The desserts are small but incredibly tasty, particularly the ricotta and fig , but at €6 they are great value. The only star missing is not the fault of the restaurant, it was a bit quiet because of a torrential thunderstorm that occurred while we were there. This restaurant and chef deserves to be much better known in Genoa!

Thank you mama Franca! The food was fresh and very wel cooked. Don’t come here if you’re not hungry. The formula is great, you get a lot of delicious food for a fixed price. 5 stars all the way. A nice dog came by, don’t know if it was set up or not but it was a nice touch.

A very special concept - the chef comes out every once in a while with a new dish and the guest are invited to take. Everybody shares everything. All the food was incredibly delicious and the place is very nice with a home-like feeling to it. Make sure to save place for the desserts! Definitely worth the problem of finding this restaurant through Genova's alleys.

In my opinion, heart is the main ingredient for making a good dish. Well, the chef puts a lot of heart into his job. We ate marvelously for a fair price! Highly recommended!

In sette ieri sera a cena, scoperto per caso. Non c'era nessuno altro. Locale piccolo ma accogliente con pochi posti a tavola. Cucina metà italiana metà peruviana, hanno un menù e un fuori menù molto ricco. Quattro primi, tre secondi, acqua una bottiglia di vino e quattro caffè, 30€ a testa. Ad allietare tutta la cena una playlist di musica di vario genere apprezzabile, forse volume leggermente sopra. Lo consiglio.
