You have got to be kidding me, this place is always Great, my Favorite Bbq.. Food is always Awesome. I drive from Webster NY near the Lake to come get some of this wonderful goodness. All of it is good, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken, Pork Ribs, all the sides (especially the Baked Beans). I boast about this place to all my Foody Friends.

This place rocks! I dare you to order the “Pick 3” and try to finish it! BBQ RIBS are excellent! Meaty & tender are the ribs. Brisket is great! I usually get 2x ribs with brisket or chicken. Sides of collards greens, Mac & cheese, & beans are all excellent! They even throw in cornbread, half of a pickle and homemade pork skins! You have many sides to choose from - these are usually my 3. The BBQ sauce is great. For $33.00 the pick 3 is the way to go as you’ll definitely have leftovers for another meal.

First visit to Route 96 BBQ. We had browsed the menu in advance to ensure we all could find something. We ended up with the 4x4, which is 4 types of meat (includes salmon), 4 sides and 4 sides of corn bread and pork rinds. I was very impressed with size of the platter, the 4x4 is $43. We didn't like the beans very much as a side, the spices in there were definitely different. The rest was much enjoyed by all. The pulled pork and brisket were definitely a favorite. Their seasoning is pretty strong and there was heaps on the top of both meats, but we just avoided the majority of it. Their BBQ sauce is more southern style - vinegar based.

Just tried out this small restaurant after hearing about how good their smoked BBQ is. This is the real deal! They mainly serve just smoked BBQ brisket, pork, chicken, salmon with delicious sides. Their house barbecue sauce is not too sweet and full of flavor. Their honey mustard sauce is sweeter, but not overly so. Both sauces will taste great on whatever you get. If you're looking for a real barbecue place to satisfy your craving, I'd give this place a try.

I went here and got the 3x3 Platter consisting of Pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, collard greens, and fries. The platters come with cornbread, pickles, and pork rinds. I also got an order of fried pickles as an appetizer. The fried pickles were amazing. Sour and tangy while still be warm throughout. They don’t pull all the breading off when you take a bite and that sauce is fantastic. The pork ribs were divine. They are seasoned to perfection and don’t even need sauce on them. The vinegar cuts right through and enhances the flavor of the meat. The pulled pork was delicious, the bark was good and the meat itself was moist. The brisket had phenomenal flavor and was a good mix of fatty and lean meat. The potato salad was good. Creamy and flavorful with a hint of mustard. The fries crispy and hot, seasoned and a good accompaniment to the meat. The collards were juicy but lacked salt and seasoning. I really enjoyed my meal and experience here. Thank you so much for serving up some delicious barbecue!

Catered for a big function. Lots of good quality food. Macaroni and Cheese was basic. Sauce was really good. Meats were tender. They were a little disorganized but covered well and made up for the disorganization and did what needed to be done. Looks like a nice atmosphere to dine in even though it’s in a strip mall.

Food was great, I had the 3 meat plate and TX twinky and it was so much food i ate it for 2 days

First time out of town customers. Ordered variety of take out. Pulled pork sandwich outstanding. Mac Cheese fantastic. Texas Sandwich good, would get cheese sauce on the side next time. Service was outstanding. Definitely will be back next time in the area visiting.👍👍👍

Food was good little heavy on the dry rub for the chicken but overall really good. The fried pickle spears were freaking amazing 👏. They are tempura battered. I got the 2x2. It's 2 meats and two sides with cornbread and two pickles and pork grinds. I got the chicken and the pork ribs. They were out of brisket. To bad I really like brisket too. Mac and cheese and baked beans. The beans had meat in them and were really good. The Mac and cheese....decent 👌. My buddy got a trash plate there for those not familiar its a ny thing. He loved it but said it was a little hotter than he expected but he likes hot stuff. Overall if never tried it go there and see for yourself and judge it that way. You might like it or not.

Cute but small BBQ joint with good food. We went on a Friday and they were super busy (and this was before 6 pm!) Avoid the wobbly back table. We did the 4x4 - brisket x2, 1/2 chicken & salmon with Brussels sprouts, mac n cheese and fries x2. I've had better brisket there before. The salmon was amazing! Chicken fell off the bone and was super juicy. Brussels sprouts were great too. Loved the honey topped cornbread.

The brisket sandwich was very good. Nice and tender. I had the Mac/cheese, not very good. I would get a different side next time. Great service, very nice decor.

Really frustrated as the last 2 times we’ve driven from Rochester to the restaurant they are out of almost every kind of meat they offer. Last night tried again and got there about 525pm only to be told they were out of ribs, sausage, chicken, and one other meat option (can’t recall). We come there because the food is great but when they are out of food regularly (so it seems to us anyway) it is incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We left as did the large family that came in behind us

Place was nice - looked recently renovated; service was nice - we thought the food was just OK. Nothing was bad - but nothing was very good either: The appetizers we had (deviled eggs and the Texas twinkies) we liked very much! Probably the best part of our meal - and the cornbread we thought was good too. Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were all on the dry side, and neither of the sauces we thought were particularly good (mustard was on the sweet side and the BBQ sauce needed several somethings). The baked beans, Cole slaw, and potato salad were OK- macaroni salad we thought was pretty boring. Nice value too - thought the price was reasonable for the quantity of food we got - but we just wanted better.

Turkey Rubens were mostly bread one thin slice of turkey a quarter thickness of a slice of bread it did have a nice flavor out of a bread the sprinkle of diced tomatoes and sour kraut was sad you have to eat the bread or go away hungry the brussel sprouts had a good sauce but were hard as rocks macaroni and cheese sides was dried out no toasted onions on top. The Kids poured a bottle of bbq sauce on it to try to eat it the kids chicken was dried out only the inner thigh was eatable the pulled pork wasn't to bad. Fried potatoes were ok macaroni salad was different server was indifferent overall we tried it and will know better next time
