I love Applebee's. Since I've been going there. Like over ten years, let's say.... their customer service, alcohol,and food are good above and beyond. In my experience. And different locations as far as states. 3Never did I experience anything that was wrong or bad or anything negative. Atmosphere at Applebee's is .... Unique. I highly recommend

When I entered Applebee’s I noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant. Next I evaluated how warm and inviting the atmosphere was. Then my attention went to the friendliness of the staff; which was awesome. Finally the meal, I enjoyed the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Absolutely amazing meal.

I appreciate the manager checking with us to see how our experience was going. My only concern is the chairs. Too hard for some of with back and joints problems. Definitely will be back to try the new Hot Honey Glazed Chicken and Bacon dish!

My whole party of 13, ordered at separate times (I was the last to order my main entrée), and all our food came out at the same time (great timing on the kitchen staff). It is a nice establishment in Victorville! It is located at the entrance of High Desert, in Dunia Plaza. I have been here several times. It would be on weekends, when I would visit my relatives, who live in High Desert. The meals were always delicious. At the same time, they were not on the expensive side. Furthermore, the cocktails were well prepared. The prices, too, were not on the expensive side. It was for both, meals and cocktails. The staff, working in this establishment, were helpful, friendly, courteous, and attentive. The place looked, during my visits, well-maintained. Of course, there is a wait period, to get seated at the tables. However, bar is open seating. So, I would recommend anyone, who visits High Desert, to stop by this Applebee's establishment!

We always have a great experience at this Applebee's and the food is always delicious! I ordered an 8 oz. steak with loaded mash potatoes, broccoli and I love how it comes with a side of the crunchy fried onions. I like my steak medium-rare and it was cooked to perfection. The herb-butter sauce on top made it wonderful! Even the iced-tea actually had a good "tea" flavor and wasn't watered down like you find in a lot of restaurants. Due to our late night work schedule, one of my most favorite things about Applebee's, is that they are open until 1:00 am. I highly recommend it!

I haven't been to an Applebee's in years. I ordered the Riblet platter. I got brocoli and mashed potatoes as my sides. My taste buds were thrilled. My family was also happy with their food. We went to another Applebee's 3 days later and ordered the same thing again. I can't stop thinking about how delicious the food was. The folks working there are patient and kind and very helpful. Go and try them out if you haven't. Yummy!!

Look the food was not restaurant worthy lol I had a chicken salad and the chicken taste fake a squishy. My kids did love their food but my husband and I didn't. The only reason why this is getting more stars is because of our waiter Nate. He was so kind, so polite and just absolutely outstanding. Went last week with husband and daughter. It was slow when we arrived. One Waitress and a bartender, and I would say like a handful of people. So, went to our local Applebee's and it's almost the same as I've always known what an Applebee's to be, your classic American sports bar and grill. Price on food has gone up as expected everywhere. However they do have some good deals from time to time. Food was what I expected, nothing crazy but still good, the fries however were very good! In most cases you can't mess up fries. Service was great, forgot our servers name but for being as busy as they were, he was very attentive, nice, and helped out quickly when the guys in the back messed up an order (it did happen). Myself working in customer service, I understand the issues of what can happen so I couldn't blame him.

I sat at bar, so experienced might vary. The bartender was making jokes, ensuring I was never thirsty. Have Happy hour specials from 3-6pm. My food took a little long, so the bartender went and grabbed it for me, kudos for them.

Got the 8oz steak medium rare with mashed potatoes and French fries and chips and artichoke dip as a appetizer. Food and service was pretty good.

The wait was kind of long but it was to be expected since it is a Friday and Halloween. I want to give a shout out to our server Abbraham! He was very knowledgeable about the menu, was juggling multiple tables, and hustling to make sure everyone got their food and anything they needed on time. The manager was also out on the floor making sure guests were getting the service they need. Overall a great experience.

This Applebee's store greets upon entering. The atmosphere there is a friendly sports bar type. There is usually a food and berage campaign that appeals to the budget minded shoppers. Applebee's is a sit-down casual restaurant. However, their burger meals are just slightly higher than drive-throughs. Price point average for two $25-35.

The place was alright, the rib eye steak was just fine… it just wasn’t right, won’t compete with a proper steak house, we were missing stuff since a fight happened between some customers and the staff but I understand, things happen. But the food wasn’t that good, the service wasn’t bad but no one was there either because of the fight, they are quite friendly, fast and the cocktails are pretty nice. Their steak is so not recommended but the atmosphere and the cocktail menu is pretty awesome

We sat at the bar area. The host told us to sit anywhere. We sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once we got service, our waitress Delilah was great. We express our concerns with one of the managers (once we got acknowledged by one of them), and he "investigated" to see what happened. He was told that we "sat ourselves," and that was the reason for the delay. I got the Cajun chicken and shrimp, which was good, and my husband got the neighborhood burger, which he said was "ok."

Service was slow but it was a Friday night so I'd recommend going on a weekday or for lunch. The 2 for $22 deal is great but make sure you order the apps as part of the deal because they won't let you include them in the deal is not mentioned ahead of time. Drinks were really sweet but the food was good. I'd try again... just do it differently.

Daughter wanted to go and so we did. The start was 🙁 I wanted tI say so much about this visit, but I won't give all that detail. I will say my daughter enjoyed her food. I did not and was not even asked what was wrong, but the table in front of us was very well attended to and that was not appreciated. It was a beautiful day to be out and enjoy though.

You get what you pay for. The amount of food you get is real small lol but it's fine if your not looking for big portion. The waiter could of done a better job at making sure the kids drinks were filled and myself also. Service really sucked! Came in for dinner, ordered 2 for 26 and 2 for 32, I ordered a salad since I figured it will be faster to make and easier. Also when ordering drinks she didn't get them correctly and we where charge extra for drinks we didn't order. When the food came it was even worse appetizers where great spot on, the 2 for 26 meal where good, it was the 2 for 32 that sucked the pasta with chicken plate, the pasta was nat cooked correctly it was still hard when we complained about we where told it would take another 30 minutes for another plate to need done? So during all this time my salad was lost? I asked the waiter and she said she will look in to it, everyone else was done with their meals and I had no salad yet this was about 15 minutes after everyone was done eating my salad arrived. I asked what happened I could not believe it took that long for a salad to be made? Apparently my salad was never ordered and was ordered after I asked the waiter about the pasta issue? Won't be going back to this place.

My husband and I went there for a nice dinner. First there was more room But we waited for the person to sit us he walked away left us standing, then he sat us way on the other side of the restaurant in a corner, sat there for 15 minutes no one came to even asked us what to drink. We ordered the lunch meal deal for $9.99. Burger, fry’s, and a drink. My 89 year old mother wanted a cup of coffee instead of a soda and the manager would not allow it. Applebees should be more fixable. Chili’s does it all the time. It Took a long time to get our food and we had to remind our server that we still had not received our soda’s. No wonder there were not a lot of people there. The food was just ok. I have to say we won’t be back and I for sure can not recommend this place. And There is no need for me to follow up with anyone from Applebees, I have said everything there is to say about our experience with your company. I trust thought you should be aware of what is going on at this location.

We called ahead to check on the promotions. We were told they ran for another week. When we arrived, they said the promotion ended several weeks prior. We literally called from outside of the restaurant. The staff seems uninterested. The restaurant had a decent size crowd but was very quiet. The atmosphere was sad. The manager was just standing around. He didn't engage at all. The expectations for Applebee's aren't exactly high to begin with. But they really missed the mark at this location. We ended up walking out.

So the service was an absolute dumpster fire. Our host and the manager were on point but the waitress was absolutely terrible. She only went to big tables that had 4+ and was attentive to them. The manager had to get my wife a cup of cocktail sauce and had to refill my drink once due to her lack of attention. The food was subpar at best, I don't know how in the hell you can some hot and some cold on the same plate, cold ribletts and cold loaded potatoes vs hot mushrooms and hot chicken? The broccoli is not steamed but an over cooked soggy mess with 0 firmness and 0 crunch, might as well have been a paste to mix in. Its no wonder drinks are constantly pushed because I would have to be partially buzzed before I would even go back. Never again, I would sincerely avoid this location. Place looked nice and clean though! Restrooms were stocked and had a gentle soap. Our total for the evening was $63.63; what did I really pay for?

I absolutely love apple bee's, Food is great, well served, and prepared freshly every time we go. However, the 1 star is for the horrible experience. Hostesses working sunday night were very incompetent, lack of costumer service, never communicated with management about the situation, the Hostesses basically decided what part of the restaurant was open and what was not, they never offered any other alternatives for sitting arrangements for my party, just nasty nasty attitude from both females. We arrived at 9pm 5adults 4kids, sitting time was 20 t0 25min,well by 9:45 we were still waiting to be seated, by 10pm we finally got a table, 10:15 our order was taken, it was 10:55 food never arrived so we decided to leave instead. Very disappointing.

Salad had two chicken tenders only on it chopped up small...was hardly any. Was given appetizer no appetite plates for us to eat on..had to hunt the waitress down for drink refills....for the appetizer plates..my boyfriend was asking about the soup the waitress walked away while he was talking...then didnt return for over 10 minutes to complete takinv our order.....asked if we wanted desert while we were still eating dinner. Never asked us if we needed anything agter delivering our food ..again never even returned to check fir drink refills. We waited 45 minutes at our table and we got no service not even water. Making matter worse they served two other tables that wasn't even there as long as we were there so we left. This was the worse experience for my family on my daughter birthday. Will not come back and I will tell everyone not to go there. SMH

The steak that was given to me in my to-go order today (June 14, 2025) was the absolute worse steak I have ever had in my 58 years of living. 1/3rd of the steak was not edible due to it being extremely hard and filled with tendons. It was nowhere near medium well. Way over-cooked!! I truly believe that you are given the worse cut of steak when you order to-go. This may very well be the last time that I order a steak dinner to-go from this location. I am very disappointed.

I was there on 3/17/2022 last night around 9pm Our two children ordered the kids Mac and cheese And it was super watery and tasted like noodles with little to no cheese, as my 2 year old daughter was eating it she spit out a mouth full and I noticed there were these little sticker tags that said sunday on them I get accidents happen but my child could have choked , we were so grossed out we trashed both of their whole kids meals as we were about to pack them in a Togo box and still had to pay for them I’m very disappointed as this used to be our favorite place to go

Service was horrible. My to go order I waited over 15 mins and had to ask where my food is. As other ppl coming in after I placed my order got their food before me and then when I asked for a refund, they told me they would not give me one. They said they were going to remake my food. They brought it back out within two minutes and it was cold. I think they just put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. My food was still soggy. The manager had an attitude

Manager is rude, condescending, and incompetent. I wanted to use a coupon for a free app. I asked the server which appetizers the coupon applied to. The coupon's fine print only mentioned the combo app. I ordered the bone-in wings because, with my dairy allergy, my options are limited. But after my daughter and I had already eaten the wings, the manager told me that unfortunately the coupon also didn't include the bone-in wings. She tried to make like this was my oversight. "Try to remember next time that it doesn't cover the bone-in wings." She said this slowly like I'm stupid because she hasn't told her servers how the coupons work. I did ask what the coupon covered. And I don't know why I'm remembering what the coupon covers when it was for people who signed up for an account for the first time -- I won't be signing up multiple times. Then the manager acted like she was doing me a big favor by honoring what the coupon advertised. Gross. Also, we had 2 servers. The first server was nice and attentive, would have loved to be served by her any day. However, she went home. The 2nd server was as incompetent as her manager. Completely useless. They left our table covered in dirty dishes until after we left. Not coming back up this horrible place.

My wife and I went to eat here to give them a chance to redeem themselves from our last visit in which half of the food came and it was cold while we waited for the rest our meals. Everytime we dine out we take atleast seven (grandchildren). This time we didn't even get a chance to get seated. We waited so long and decided why wait this long and take a chance on getting cold food and horrible service. Even worst the manager herself was seated like four parties before us who arrived after us. My oldest grand daughter who loves to eat out (10 years old) "this is why I told you this is not one of my favorite restaurants to eat it's always like this."

Manager, Nathan was very disrespectful and would not honor what they promised us they would do!! Emily was very nice and we asked her to put our drinks before 6 pm before happy hour is over. Change of shift happened and they wanted to charge us full price for our drinks. We have been here several times and never been treated so unfairly! I'm very upset because I planned to stay longer and pay full price but this was not right how me and my girlfriend got treated!!

Food was not good we sent back a of wings twice , my plate had wonton tacos , wings and a riblet … I’m sad bc the tacos are my favorite but they were soggy and not good , the riblet very nasty but my wings were okay . Good luck

The food was terrible; it was like something you just took out of a microwave. So, if you like that type of food, it's your place.

I went to this Applebee’s recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We only waited about 10 minutes to be seated, which was totally fine. But after ordering, things started going downhill. My friends’ food came out first while I was left waiting quite a while for mine. It was awkward just sitting there watching everyone else eat. When my food finally arrived, it was cold, which made the wait even more frustrating. What really stood out to me was the experience at the bar. The bartender handed me the shaker to finish making my drink myself and this happened twice. She didn’t actually say “do it yourself,” but that’s essentially how it felt. I’ve honestly never had a bartender do that before anywhere. Between the uneven timing, cold food, and unusual bar experience, it just wasn’t a great visit. I wouldn’t recommend this location and hope they improve their service.

I was not happy with my food, I ordered a club sandwich, I asked for the bread lightly toasted and they brought me my food. The one piece of beard was white not toasted and the other bread was not toasted and soggy, the cheese and meat were half way out the sandwich! I let the server know and he took it back to the kitchen. Then the manager brought me my club sandwich how I ordered it and apologized! I paid for my order and I did tip the server! But I won't dine there again!

Worst service ever! Took forever to get our order taken. It took an hour for them just to take our order. Then over 30 minutes to get our food and they forgot several items and took a long time bringing those out too. It wasn't even busy and the manager never checked in on us although he saw us not being helped.

Came here for the first time and the last time!this place really sucks! Rude waiter rushing and not paying attention. Had to walk to Mimis next door and take my money where they appreciate. Horrible Horrible customer service

Waiter didn’t come by to check on us, I ordered a steak and mashed potatoes plate. My steak tasted like it was cooked in shrimp or mixed with seafood. Usually you can’t go wrong with Applebees BUT apparently today you can. Horrible service, and food

Waited 20 minutes to be seated when there was other tables clearly open + cleaned. Once seated and ordered food - an appetizer took 30 minutes to get brought out and food took over that time ! You guys also brought out one plate and made us wait 20 for the rest. Overall service was terrible and your staff was very slow.

Unfortunately there is not people to assist. There could have been a staff shortage this day. The phone was passed around a couple of times when placing the order to go, and when showing up was greeted by 3 people, but when comming out of the restroom, it is like they all disappeared. And after waiting in the front because of the pick up door being locked, and needing to go around to the front to begin with, was then sitting and waiting. Needed to add more foods. Unfortunately due to the long waiting for assistance left, so if they want to cancel my to go order, they can.

Called in for a pick up. Got out on hold for 10 mins. I had more time to drive over and walk in while still on hold. Got to the location and it was slow.. no one was busy. I talked to 2 servers who had attitudes like idgaf about your experience.. won't be coming back especially saying I have 5 other choices right next door.

My husband I went here and we were sat at a table in the bar area. The server was not attentive at all, which we don't ask for much, but we didn't receive any drink refills or even asked if we want one. We were never asked how our food was. When we received our food, we didn't see our waitress again; not even for a box to take my leftovers home. When we got up and began walking out, the waitress saw us and looked down and away and never even said bye. This was our go to place but it has gone down hill every time we go.

We waited to be seated, we waited for 30 minutes. Then comes in another guest and it appeared that she knew the host and greeted her in a friendly way and they automatically got seated. She personally cleaned a table for them to be seated right away. Why make us wait in line if you could just cut in front of the line? Poor service.
