Fantastic, fresh food! Friendly staff! Definitely a good deal cheaper when you order the daily special....$8.50 and it comes with perfectly sweetened tea. Thanks so much.
Great little hideaway restaurant that has delicious food, great adult drinks and kind customer service. Even when they were under staffed they did amazing. The atmosphere inside is clean and cozy; no windows but adds to the decor.
This is a Great restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great staff! We loved it! We met friends there and they had plenty of space for us all. The Texas atmosphere with Mexican heritage was lovely. Great art, decor, and yes, food as well. I think I was too enamoured with the restaurant to rave about the food as I ordered classic twx-mex. Great place to bring friends and family as they have a good selection of food as well.
They waiters/waitresses are always nice, as well as the atmosphere. Their puffy tacos are better than most Tex-Mex restaurants that I've been to, and they are my go-to for a carne asada burrito or torta smothered in green sauce in the Schertz area.
If they have a new chef! Thank You! The NEW enchilada sauce was Absolutely AMAZING TODAY 😍 I had the Cheese Enchilada Special today. There has never been a Better Enchilada Sauce than this one in all the years I have been to this Restaurant. I hope they remain to keep and continue with this enchilada sauce on their Cheese Enchiladas!! I wish they would have put the Puffy Tacos on the side and not sitting in that delicious enchilada sauce, was my only issue. Other that that it was a great Lunch!
I always drive by and have never stopped. Well I decided to go for dinner on a Friday and it did not disappoint. I loved the courtesy chips and salsa as we waited. I ordered the carne guisada plate with rice and borracho beans. It was such a good plate. I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast tacos. The food was so good and everyone was super nice. 👌 ❤️ 🏆
Friends that frequent this restaurant invited me to lunch. They only have great things to say about the food here and I have to agree. My friend’s husband ordered the 3 cheese enchilada plate and we ordered #41 cheese enchilada, crunchy beef taco and carne guisada with rice and refried beans. The food was good, hot and plentiful. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was quite pleasant as tables were spaced apart for privacy. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
It was a satisfying and fulfilling dinner experience. Local is always best in a small town. Why, chain it? My enchiladas were loaded, the salsa “on-point”, atmosphere was authentic, and that Mole? As Robin might say Holy Mole Batman! And it was three stuffed enchiladas. Frequently the dinner plate is only two at many restaurants, but not here!
Excellent food and the waitresses were wonderful! Diana waited on us and did a great job serving exactly what we wanted. I’ll label dishes after I upload these photos I’m visiting my cousin in the San Antonio in between looking for a place to buy in my home state, Texas. :) I asked one waitress Eva if they serve sopapillas and she said yes. I explained that the guests, grandma and granddaughter who is 6, were visiting from Kansas. Well, Eva had the chef prepare an extra special treat for the little one. The sopas were cut in dip sizes, served on foil with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Honey was in a small container so she could dip them. Then a bowl with honey and a spoon was provided for us to join in the fun and yummy desert. Also, there was a bowl which had cinnamon and sugar blended perfectly. Everything was delicious. They even make the gorditas Mexico style in a pouch. Loved it. Salsa was good not too hot and warm chips. It was a very enjoyable dining experience and for that reason and the extra special wait staff I send them my gratitude, thank you so much! See photos. :) I highly recommend their restaurant. This was the first time I’ve been there.
First time visit and we were very impressed! Very nicely decorated, very clean and plenty of room between tables. They have an outdoor patio, indoor party room and a nice bar. The music playing was low volume and not blaring. We there for breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero's plate with homemade corn tortillas. The coffee was very good. The only downside side was the wait for our orders, but our breakfast was very good! I give it my 3M rating. Mmm Good! I recommend;)) Enjoy!
You never know what to expect when you try a new restaurant. This restaurant has very good food and drink specials also a great selection of food choices. Their daily specials are $7.95 served with a good portion of food also comes with a tea. All-day $1.99 draft beer mugs and $2.99 margaritas (good choice). Pricing is a little high on the plates only reason they got four stars.
I went in today to get a $30 gift card. She said it'll be $32 and change. I said you don't charge tax on a gift card. I told her 3 times. She asked someone, they said yes we charge tax. I was doing someone a favor by getting the card for them. But i knew I'd be giving a review to let people know. So now they'll be collecting taxes twice. That's ridiculous.
Went there today and it was not good. Ordered the Saturday special cheese enchiladas, and a queso flameado. The enchiladas were oily and tasted off and then they brought me the queso flameado...what I got was ALPO with not fully melted cheese, asked for them to fix it only for them to bring me a second plate of ALPO in a sea of grease. This is not how this is supposed to look. Guys really need to fix this man.
I have been coming here ever since I moved to Cibolo I love the food especially the breakfast tacos before work, but recently it seems every time i go in the lady cashier or manager always has an attitide or is on her phone shes has charged me different prices for the same order.
Services was horrible. The waitress gave me coffee Styrofoam cup he said he don't have anymore coffee mugs, some of the fries were raw, and they only good things about this restaurant were the chips that they almost forgot about ,and the drinks, which the water tasted like it was from the sink. The tortillas were also horrible because they were really hard.
To begin the only fresh drink is the sweet tea. The lemonade and horchata are artificial. The red chips salsa was very good but the green was horrible. The green cheese enchiladas were good. The chicharon taco not so good to say the least. Had not been here in a few years and other than the atmosphere is much better the quality of food has really gone downhill.
I ordered 2 lbs of Barbacoa, the menu had 2 prices. $16.95 for 1 lb, if you want sides it's $21.95. I didnt want sides, Total came to 45 dollars and some change, when I asked why so high the cashier, the owners son said the price changed. I said well the menu clearly states $16.95, his reply was well the price changed. I said well the menu clearly states the prices, he wasn't going to change his mind, prices change so you'll just have to pay the higher price. Bad customer service and deceptive price gouging. I asked to speak to a manager, he said his dad owned the restaurant and he wasn't there. My point is they have bad customer service and the price increases should be noted or changed on their menu.
My husband and I decided to try this place out for the first time, sadly we were disappointed in our experience. We ordered a fajita plate for two and barely got any meat in it, my husband ordered a drink and she wrote down the wrong one. When we told her the drink he actually ordered and wanted she said that would be an extra charge! Like what? She didn’t even give us the correct drink so we just took it as a learning experience and won’t be back. If you want good food and don't want to waste your money, please go somewhere else.
