First time visiting last night. Great selection of seafood options and we had a great experience. This is not a traditional Mexican restaurant with cheap dishes - everything seemed fresh and prices were in line with what I'd expect. The atmosphere feels like a cantina with low lighting. Will be back to try more of their menu.

Went for lunch on a Sunday, which was our second visit. Only a few tables, so not busy at all. Food was quite good--I had the camarones a la diabla (even though the shells are still on so you have to work at it), one had the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and my wife went with the chicken quesadilla. Service was quite poor--took over 90 minutes total time for our party of 5. Had no creamer for coffee that friend that was with us ordered, in addition to it taking a long time to arrive. Not sure coffee was even brewed, so may have been instant or Keurig, but how can you offer coffee without any creamer?! Waiter never returned to check on things. My take is that their understanding of English did not seem to be very good, which likely led to a lot of the issues. We did determine that we will not return in the future.

Prices are way too high for what they offer. Service is horribly slow. Food was decent but that’s it. They do not have refillable drinks either. Every thing is either bottle or cans.

Being a owner of three restaurants in the area . We decided to give this establishment a second try. Needless to say we were truly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and service. Chips and salsa was requested three times only to be told they had ran out and were being made.In the meantime other tables were receiving nacho orders. When the chips came out they were not just made as we were told. When are orders came out they did not come with everything as listed in the menu. We had to repeatedly ask for silverware after the food had already been served. The drinks were watered down and sweet. Even the long island was extremely sweet and made incorrectly. Both servers female and male with a dagger tattoo had poor demeanor and sarcastic remarks. We will not be returning and or recommending this establishment.

Definitely frendly staff and a nice place. If you want Mexican you're better off going to Taco Bell. A lot of seafood, pasta, French fries. Margaritas were terrible. Not even a single burrito on the menu and not really any traditional Mexican meals. Response to Owner: Definitely will come back in February then.

Bought the birria tacos & they tasted absolutely wretched. They had the taste of sweat and armpits. Not even 2 hours later i wake up out my sleep and throw up, food poisoning once again from-a place who doesnt know what theyre doing. This place is not safe for the community.

Horrible everything! No one greeted us, finally got seated. About 30 minutes later a man came around to get our drink orders, didn't know what they had or how to make, ie, Kuala &cream. We ended up making it ourself. After about another 26 minutes came back and took our dinner orders. After another 30 minutes one order at a time our food came out. Unable to all eat at same time. Food looked beautiful but tasted 100% horrid. Nobody ate but a couple of bites. Did not take home doggy bag.!! Also the place was overwhelmed with gas fumes to the point we we going to call Fire Dept. My husband(fire officer, Baltimore City) brother in law and our nephew whether to check it out. In the kitchen the gas and smokey air was coming from a floor cleaning machine. They turned it off and opened the back doors. I have no idea why we stayed, we usually aren't so dumb, but be warned, stay away. It's the worse place we have ever been! There were 8 of us. Ages 6 to 79 yesterday old. Also it was 6pm and one other couple were there.

We walked in the door and we got funny looks because we aren't Spanish. My girlfriend asked for sweet tea and the waiter said they only had tea in a bottle. She said that's fine so he brings her raspberry tea instead. Good thing she likes it. So we ordered the tacos. The chicken was dry, steak to well done, and shrimp was over cooked. Then the waiter has a nerve to ask for a tip when you can clearly see we wasn't happy with the food. Each taco had one bite out of them and that was it.

The food was great. We had a party of 20 with a reservation, it's not a big place. But they told us they could sit us. They then proceeded to refuse to split our check before dropping it on the table at the end of dinner. Yes we asked multiple times when we arrived if it was okay that we needed to split the check. Beyond that though, the DJ was playing an excellent mix, at a psyops level of volume the entire meal. I left with a migraine, still hungry since we waited over an hour and half to get the first plates, almost 3 before the final person got their food. Suffice it to say, the food was amazing and I'm sure the people are great. This was definitely not their night.

I recently dined at Villa Corona with three friends, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. While the food was decent, the service left much to be desired, and the forced tip added an unpleasant surprise to our bill. What left a particularly bitter taste in our mouths was the forced tip of around $40 for a party of just four adults. While I understand the importance of tipping, it should be left to the discretion of the customers to decide how much to tip based on their experience. Forcing a fixed tip amount, especially when the service was subpar, felt unjustified and left us feeling like we had no control over our dining expenses.
