Went here on veterans Day with some friends who are visiting from Michigan. One of them was a veteran and he was able to receive a free breakfast. The food here is usually hot and fresh and the wait staff as usually very attentive as well.

Ms.neia was amazingly sweet warm and hospitable to me and my grandmother and grandfather my grandfather has dementia so he repeats his self over and over again she immediately understood and made my grandpa smile and laugh like I haven’t seen since I was 25 mind u I’m 41 now and my grandpa is 91 I hope this isn't to much but that experience and love from someone we have never met before made this unforgettable and I will be recommending this store to all my friends and family thank you and god bless

I visited IHOP this past weekend, and I was genuinely impressed by the service, especially from the hostess, Joanna, From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. Even though it was a busy morning, she remained calm, polite, and organized, making sure everyone was seated in a timely manner.

Our waitress, Paige, was absolutely wonderful. Great attitude, efficient, and all around awesome server. The food was spot on and delicious. The experience couldn’t have been any better .

When we first walked in and saw people waiting we were afraid there would be a long wait but we were actually seated pretty quickly. Our server, Perfecta, was very friendly. We looked over the menus for a bit, she was patient, once we placed our order it didn’t take long for our order to arrive. Perfecta updated us on our order status during our short wait. Our food was delicious! Perfecta ensured we had everything we needed. Sorry, didn’t take any photos of our food. Perfecta was very attentive during our meal. Once we were done she brought us our bill along with some stickers. My son was very impressed that we were given stickers with scriptures on them. We were in town for the Forrest Frank concert at Silobration so the stickers were very much appreciated. Thank you, Perfecta. If you’re in the area stop by IHOP and maybe just maybe you’ll be blessed with Perfecta as your server.

I’ve been a long-time regular at IHOP, and Sugar has always greeted me with a smile and provided amazing service every time. IHOP after church is always a great way to spend my Sunday! We just had the most amazing experience this morning. We’ve been going through a lot this year and we needed a nice family breakfast (for the first time in months) to start off our week. We came in and were greeted and sat by a guy named Ray and he was so kind and friendly and made sure we were warm and cozy and set up! Our server Sugar came up with a huge smile and such a great personality. She was so sweet and helpful. THEN THE BEST PART, my daughter had seen something about a reindeer pancake somewhere and we had no idea what she was talking about or where to get it; but the manager Leo came through for her!!! Not only was this an amazing act of kindness, it was also SO CUTE and delicious. Our French toast is amazing, as well as everything else. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Victoria with a big Texas smile. She made sure I was comfortable right away and brought my coffee and water promptly. Waited 5 to 7 minutes to be seated. Several employees glanced out way bit failed to greet us or even say someone will be right with you. After we were seated by the hostess who had been in the restroom, one of the ladies who failed to greet us or make eye contact was out server. She did a wonderful job serving, as this is how you earn your tips. Good was very good, certainly no complaints there. Restaurant was clean. I did not use the facilities.

I hardly come to this IHOP in Waco and it was good. The food was good and service was ok. I feel like the server didn’t care much about trying to go a little above and beyond.I asked for fresh strawberries instead of the glazed strawberries cuz I try to avoid sugars but anyways right away I got a NO! But yes I know I can be a bit complicated but I am also a very good tipper cuz i know what it is to be a server. I needed something but didn’t want to ask for more . She was fast so don’t want to put her down but think sometimes it’s ok to do a little extra .

Food is good. Servers are good. This place is always understaffed. The hostess is absent from area most times and waiters and managers are usually juggling multiple tasks. You can expect a lenghty visit even if it's not busy. If you are not in a hurry this place is great. They can accommodate big parties and they have an extended seating area for really big parties/families or private events.

My table of three people including myself, were left unattended and waiting an hour for our waiter to pick up a check. Visually, our table was completely cleared of food and was what I thought apparently obvious that our dinner part was ready to depart.

The restaurant is definitely busy and every staff were doing their food service and table cleanup. The food was delicious and waitress was great in service. i just want to comment on the restaurant cleanliness as it is needing attention from management as it can also impact future reviews from other customers. We cannot focus on the food by itself rather we need to take a step back and look at entire establishment. I would like to suggest if Management can take time to cleanup the front of their properly like take a moment to power wash the front so it is much cleaner and appealing. Inside the restaurant, take a moment to replace ceiling tiles with water damage and replace filter as it seems the filters were not being cleaned or replace. You never know what might fall into the customers food while eating. Take a moment to clean the windows and glass doors so all hand markings are not so noticeable. Replace vinyl tiles so the floor does not look like the road with pot holes. Also, I noticed all the computer ordering console need to be wipe once in a while since waitress are just busy touching and typing but they don’t noticed all their fingers marking with food slime just filing up. I’m posting so that IHOP is different from other establishments most especially it serves food.

I'm pretty sure this IHOP is severely understaffed, came in at around 10:50 am, there was no one at the front to check people in. When someone did finally come up, we immediately ordered as soon as we were seated, and we got our food at 12:05. Our order was also wrong, but we didn't feel like waiting another hour to have that corrected. The wait staff also never stopped by to check on us or refill drinks. So much for breakfast, turned into lunch.

I ordered the French toast combo meal. I didn't receive my french toast until the meal was over. We don't blame the server. She said someone else was supposed to deliver the order. We ran out of coffee and water. We were never offered refill. Not once did we see a manager on the floor. A couple next to us waited for 15 minutes before their order was taken. There was a gentleman waiting when we got here to pick up an order. He walked to the front to cancel his order because he had waited so long. I do not know what systems this particular restaurant has in place, but man...this place sucks. Oh, and the manager took a whole 2.99 off my meal because I refused the french toast, which had obviously been sitting for a while. In a climate where customers are choosing to stay home and eat, restaurants need to be doing it better. This place was a major fail.

The food tasted good but until I saw the hair in the Oreo waffle. Place looked good until I saw cockroach. Chicken fajita omelette was very tasty. The service was good but felt the place was not hygienic. Mentally I wasn’t okay dining here, wouldn’t recommend.

To start with, the server was very slow in delivering our order as we can see our food sitting there on the counter for almost 15 mins and then when she brought the food, she missed the chocolate chip pancake(which she said herself) and yet she forgot about it for next 20 mins. Then, as a server, she never came to check if we wanted anything else, and its not like the restaurant was very busy and there were no other servers. Then, when she finally came and when we told her that she missed the chocolate pancake then she looked at us with an angry face. Secondly, we got the wrong of the chocolate chip pancake(picture attached below/above), and everyone knows its not how it looks.

It’s best to NOT order stuff to go from this IHOP. On several occasions I’ve got home to realize my order is not only incomplete (the 4 sausage links I ordered were nowhere to be found) but the stuff I got wasn’t right either. I watched my wife dig tomatoes and onions out of her omelette for 5 minutes. Better double check your order before you leave.

Regrettable stop in Waco. Waitress was entirely too bothered to provide any assistance in an almost empty dining room. Coffee was burnt. Plates were tossed onto the table and instead of asking if things were acceptable, an across the room "thumbs up" was offered while napkins, condiments, and drinks were elusive.. I opted to leave the pancakes as they appeared day old. Maybe they'd been left before? Across the room others were given "just brewed coffee," and regular check ins. It will remain a mystery I suppose.. Alas_will not return to risk it.

All in all it boils down to don't argue with your customer even if in your head you think you know what you're talking about, it costs you nothing just to say yes sir the chocolate chocolate chip pancakes. You'll receive a much better review and probably a nicer tip as well. I swear people in the service industry now just don't even care about their job. It's not even about providing an experience anymore it's how fast can I get off this floor to go talk to my coworkers or play on my phone, etc. I could say the one redeeming quality atmosphere wise was that they still had Christmas music playing. I did enjoy that.

He seemed irritated by simple requests, answered questions with barely concealed contempt, and generally made us feel unwelcome as he rushed our time here. Food was unsanitary, gross and cold including the silverware itself I don’t think I’ll be spending my money here anytime soon this service is unbelievable!

I can't imagine not caring this much about someone's food that someone paid for. I'm stuck in the hospital and was told at 10 pm last night that I could eat after not being allowed to eat all day. So I ordered from here. He arrived and a woman gave him the order. Half of the food wasn't there. So they had to make the other half while the EGGS AND MEAT he had in his hands got cold. They brought him the rest of the food and he still had to ask for our drinks. He got back to the hospital with everything and realized that we didn't get coffee. We got iced water. Incredibly lazy. It IS theft as well. We called to complain and they said "well you can come back and get the coffee"... the whole meal should've been remade. It's absolutely disgusting that y'all would send people with cold food because you didnt want to complete an order. My husband also said while he was waiting someone walked in to eat and was handed a menu and was told "you can sit someone where over there" instead of being walked to their seat. Get it together.

Service was terrible! It took such a long time for our server to come over initially. When she came over to do our drink order we ordered our food at the same time worried that we would have to wait a long time again just to place the order. The sweet tea was not sweet at all and had to then wait to get a replacement drink. After part of our food finally came out we then had to again wait for silverware. We had to ask for the rest of our food because it was not brought out. There were employees out, on their phones leaned against the wall and some arguing loudly about fighting in the back. After paying for our food the waiter informed us that the food we had came with bottomless pancakes. At this point we were over waiting so we just told her it was fine, something I feel might of been better mentioned at the beginning of ordering.. there were so many employees and not many customers in the restaurant at the time of us going so I’m not sure what exactly happened…. Very disappointed
