Michelle and Sugar are the best! Michelle always knows exactly what we all drink and eat. And when Michelle isn’t here Sugar always has our back!! Both of them are wonderful people and super sweet. The food is great too, but their service is what keeps us coming back.

I’ve enjoyed IHOP on occasion at other locations, but the wait staff at this IHOP are second to none. Sugar and Michelle know most of the morning customers by name. Food is made to order— even with special requests. They make sure everyone feels welcome and show genuine commitment to excellence and best of all, to PEOPLE. Five stars is not enough for this team!

I came on a very cold day but I enjoyed the warming environment. It was quiet since it was early but people slowly started coming. Johnathon was very professional and the meal was perfect ! Came in today with my niece and nephew .. we had the pleasure of having sugar as my waitress , she is the most sweetest and genuine person I have ever had. She made sure our food came out correctly and on time and our drinks stayed filled which is my biggest thing when I go out to eat , I need my coffee to be filled .. we just love sugar and we will definitely be back for her . We just had the most amazing experience this morning. We’ve been going through a lot this year and we needed a nice family breakfast (for the first time in months) to start off our week. We came in and were greeted and sat by a guy named Ray and he was so kind and friendly and made sure we were warm and cozy and set up! Our server Sugar came up with a huge smile and such a great personality. She was so sweet and helpful. THEN THE BEST PART, my daughter had seen something about a reindeer pancake somewhere and we had no idea what she was talking about or where to get it; but the manager Leo came through for her!!! Not only was this an amazing act of kindness, it was also SO CUTE and delicious. Our French toast is amazing, as well as everything else. Thank you Leo, Sugar, and Ray for such an awesome morning to start our week off happily.

Sugar was a great waitress! The whole staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly. There were a lot of older customers that seemed to know the servers well and were in good spirits. Also, Michelle talked to us and other customers even though she wasn’t our server. Would definitely come again!

Five Stars – Excellent Service at IHOP Waco! I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at the IHOP in Waco, TX that I felt I had to share. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Victoria with a big Texas smile. She made sure I was comfortable right away and brought my coffee and water promptly. I have a bit of an unusual request when it comes to my omelet, and most places never get it quite right—but Victoria made sure it was exactly how I ordered it. She double-checked everything and also ensured my guest’s meal was perfect. The food came out quickly, hot, and delicious! Victoria’s friendly attitude and attention to detail made this visit truly stand out. She gave us wonderful customer service and made our meal a great experience. Thank you, Victoria—you deserve the recognition!

Super clean.....no sticky floors....no sticky tables...place was packed and we were seated quickly...just two of us....got our food quickly also....very good...waitress was nice!

This place is reminiscent of a morgue. There's no voices carrying in the air no pleasant sounds. I guess it's different on a Friday or Saturday night but today in the afternoon, like I said, it was as fun as a morgue

Regrettable stop in Waco. Waitress was entirely too bothered to provide any assistance in an almost empty dining room. Coffee was burnt. Plates were tossed onto the table and instead of asking if things were acceptable, an across the room "thumbs up" was offered while napkins, condiments, and drinks were elusive.. I opted to leave the pancakes as they appeared day old. Maybe they'd been left before? Across the room others were given "just brewed coffee," and regular check ins. It will remain a mystery I suppose.. Alas_will not return to risk it.

Service was terrible! It took such a long time for our server to come over initially. When she came over to do our drink order we ordered our food at the same time worried that we would have to wait a long time again just to place the order. The sweet tea was not sweet at all and had to then wait to get a replacement drink. After part of our food finally came out we then had to again wait for silverware. We had to ask for the rest of our food because it was not brought out. There were employees out, on their phones leaned against the wall and some arguing loudly about fighting in the back. After paying for our food the waiter informed us that the food we had came with bottomless pancakes. At this point we were over waiting so we just told her it was fine, something I feel might of been better mentioned at the beginning of ordering.. there were so many employees and not many customers in the restaurant at the time of us going so I’m not sure what exactly happened…. Very disappointed
