Truly a great place to eat, service was awesome also. If you like dark strong beers. They will let you taste a few to see if you like.

Our server Liv was very nice and clearly wanted to make sure we were having a good time. They have a cool bar that serves patrons both inside the restaurant and on the patio which did cause a bit of a draft, but it was cool so I’ll allow it. They have a nice spread of menu items so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. I do wish their tavern style was thinner but it was still good! (Jacob’s super special tips: if there isn’t a host maybe the bartender can welcome a group in and tell them that someone will be there shortly to seat them) p.s. we came at midnight so I assume they usually have a host during the day.

This place was really good! Great food, nice waitress (Liv) and solid drinks. The only issue was we waited 10 minutes before the hostess came to get us a table (there was only a few people in the restaurant at the time). We thought we walked into the wrong door before the hostess came out and sat us down. But overall, come to this place, it’s fire.

Let’s talk about Old Chicago. Upon arriving, I noticed that they didn’t have anyone at the entrance to sit or deliver orders to people who ordered online or on an app. We had to wait for a waiter who was nearby to finish the table before serving us. Including someone else who apparently worked for a delivery app. Although the wait wasn’t that long, I get the impression that at busier times, it can be a problem. When we sat down, we didn’t wait long. The service was actually pretty fast. We ordered, and although the food took about 10 minutes, the waiter always kept us informed of what was happening with the food. We ordered some wings, which were really good. Although it was the standard for any fast food in town. Also, the portions, for almost $10 for 6 wings, is crazy. Although I got an extra plate of wings, because I was lucky enough to be there for a "Wings Happy Hours". I think the price is way too high for 6 wings. I also ordered a carzon, and I can’t complain. It was pretty good, although I think it needed a little more protein. My companion ordered a pasta, and the pasta was a bit cold. But I imagine it was due to the lack of employees, and the wait for the dish to come out and not having anyone to take it to the table. I think they can improve, but the only way to do it is by having a bigger team. People who can lighten the load of the waiters, who apparently are doing everything.

Got there around the time it opened. Food was great no complaints. It wasn’t busy… with that being said it felt like it took forever to get a drink from the bar. We just didn’t understand the issue, it wasn’t packed. It just seemed like we got ignored by our waitress a couple times. Other than that everything was great. I will go again, the pizza is always good.

Restaurant wasn't busy. Atmosphere was representative of a morgue. Sat at the Bar and had to ask the Bartender to clean the bartop where we sat at.Ordered the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer and it was phenomenal

I have been going to Old C's for decades. My name was on the wall on a now closed location in Colorado. The location in Waco reminds me of those good times minus the food. Everything was was over cooked and dry. The spinach and artichoke dip was just a tub of oil. Chicken wings were petrified and the pizza wasn't much better. It's unfortunate.

AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!! We arrived and most of the tables were empty. some empty tables still needed to be cleared. WORST part. the pizza was arrived WARM. Our cups were empty for most of our time. we stopped another worker to get a box and the bill.

This chain has gone downhill-will not be returning. Only 1 table and 2 persons at the bar at 5:30 on a Saturday night-that should have been an indicator of what was to come for our 4 person party. Took almost 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. 5 wings for $10.99 were tiny as big as my pinky finger with no rub, pasta dish was cold, burger and fries were cold and calzone was mediocre for a pizza restaurant. Extra charge for a side of ranch as well. Waitstaff was super slow with no drink refills....the list goes on and on.

I have been to Old Chicago up north, and have always had great food. This Waco location was not good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive but I think the management is not good. Awful food, no cooks that I could see (meaning the waitress was cooking and cleaning), and the men’s restroom was in very poor condition. Someone in my group for chicken tenders and they had obviously been cooked in old grease. Very disappointed. Glad our waitress was kind though!

This was my favorite place! I don’t understand how you serve customers subpar food. I’m sure when the nachos came out of the oven, the cook saw they were burnt. Yet, you serve them anyway. They even look unappealing! For the price, I expected better! Unfortunately, we live in Harker Heights so going back is not an option. Highly disappointed.

My order wasn’t ready for 15 minutes after the time given. I made a comment about how small the soup was for the price, $7.99. The lady there said I would, if I didn’t work here. I got home to find the burger was well done. The tall order of boneless wings had 9 small wings that did not appear fresh, looked day old. The soup for $7.99 measured out to half a cup. When I called the manager, he dismissed my concerns and stated that they were served to corporate specs. I will not be back.
