Andaman Thai Walnut Creek

Finally got the chance to try this spot that was saved in one of my bookmarks. The savory and delicious flavors you get from these dishes were excellent. Food was too good that I forgot to snap a picture of the presentation before my friends and I digged in, LOL! This restaurant is definitely for the books. I would recommend coming back. Thai Tea, large portions of servings per dish, and wonderful vibes within the restaurant.

It was our first time here, and we loved everything we tried. We were seated right away later on a Friday night (8pm) and ordered roti and chicken satay for apps, and Tom Yum noodle soup, Beef noodle soup, yellow curry and a pad thai...and they were all good! I asked for medium spicey for the tom yum noodle soup and regretted it a bit so probably will order mild next time. The beef noodle soup had very tender beef, and the pad thai had great flavor. Also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert, and we all enjoyed it. Parking is metered in the lot but readily available.

Hands down, this place deserves more than 5 stars. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The seating was comfortable. The decor was inviting and relaxing with soft lighting and interesting artwork. The food was amazing! We would highly recommend the veggie lovers, the green curry, Thai basil fried rice with tofu, the catfish and the sticky mango rice. Parking was a little challenging, but well worth it. Even if you’re not nearby, it’s worth the drive!

Really cute place and menu book! The food was wonderful and they have a decent amount of vegan options! The rice and soup were fantastic, the clay pot was refreshing yet could use a bit more flavour.

The green curry with seafood was excellent. However, I prefer the green curry with chicken. Just went back a second time, super delicious food. We had the mango salad and the crispy rice salad. They were both great. Super place to have lunch. The best Thai food we have ever had. Great service too!

Best Thai restaurant in Walnut Creek, friendly staff, excellent service, delicious appetizers and entrees. We enjoyed Pra Ram with chicken, Ginger eggplant with tofu and ginger eggplant with vegetables. Restaurant has an attractive and pleasant atmosphere.

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to so far. The food is absolutely incredible and the staff are super friendly. The service was crazy fast. I got the lemongrass chicken and it was so delicious! The crispy rolls appetizer was even tastier than I could have expected. I will absolutely come here again, and tell everyone I know to come try it!

Definitely expect a bit of a wait. It is a short walking distance to broadway plaza. Attentive service and lively atmosphere.

The food was really good and fresh. It came out fast and we were there about 15 minutes before they closed. The customer service was great. We weren't rushed. It's a great atmosphere, very clean. The decor and lighting were amazing! They have a full bar, it's a great place to go on a date!

Excellent Thai restaurant with a varied menu. There were so many dishes that I wanted to try. We settled on their crispy rice salad, peppercorn tofu, pumpkin chicken curry and pork pad see ew. All four dishes were delicious and presented beautifully. My favorite out of the four was the crispy rice salad, but all courses were good. Service was very attentive and polite. Also, their Thai Iced Coffee is one of the best I've had. It wasn't bitter or overly sweet like other places. The restaurant setting is chic, yet welcoming. This place could work for a casual family meal or date night. We will definitely be back!

As soon as you walk in- you are greeted by courteous & inviting staff. We ordered cocktails at the bar while we waited for a table. The wait was less than 5 min and the place was packed with happy diners. My pumpkin curry was pleasing to the eye and tasted delicious-although some pieces of pumpkin were raw. The lemongrass chicken medium spiced was delicious (full of flavor with the bright lemongrass & herbaceous spice). We shared the mango salad with shrimp -medium spice. Fresh & crisp & the shrimp were poached to perfection. We WILL return. *Ask for Alice.

This Thai restaurant is over the top! No kidding. Our server was so kind and gracious. She helped explain the menu options, and recommendations were on the spot. The Thai food here is truly top quality, presented beautify. The flavor was an absolute treat. And the Thai Tea, crazy good! This is a must do, we are returning soon and I'm sure you won't regret trying it as well.

It is a busy place but they move people through well. The food is incredible and worth any wait. Great variety of dishes and very flavourful with spicy or not spicy options. Friendly staff and good service.

Happened upon this place with a friend and was very pleased with the whole experience. We were greated and seated quickly, read through the menu made our selections. We both absolutely loved our entrees, appetizer and the mango sicky rice was phenomenal! The whole thing was incredibly wonderful and I'm bookmarking this place for another time! Don't get out to Walnut Creek often but I have a place that I will happily repeat when I do!!

My family has come to this restaurant several times for birthdays! They accept reservations, perfect for larger groups. Staff is always friendly and efficient. They are great when it comes to allergies and sensitivities. They also provide alternatives if they are unable to accommodate a customization to a dish. And the food is great!

We ordered Tom Yum Spicy Fried Rice and Spicy Cat Fish along with Chicken Satay. Every dish was served hot and fresh. Being a fan of Thai food this place is A+. Update: Ordered Basil Fried Rice and Pad Thai, both with Chicken as meat. They are super yummy and just can’t get enough of their flavors. Love it. Paid parking - $3.50/hr. 7 days/week 9 to 11pm.

Pad See Eew, the pan-fried thick rice noodles with beef, garlic, Chinese broccoli, egg, and soy sauce were delicious. However, if you prefer spicier flavors, you might find this dish a tad mild. The sweeter undertones add a unique touch. Pineapple Fried Rice, the stir-fried rice with chicken, pineapple, cashew nut, tomato, onion, raisin, and egg was a delightful surprise. The combination of cashew nut and raisin provided interesting layers of flavor. A touch more salt would make it perfect!

The fresh ingredients and aromatic herbs really stood out. The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sauce for the the roti was very watery. And the chicken sate was very dry.

Food and service are great, but they use Fabuloso to clean and it is the most vile smell in the world. I really can't eat anywhere that uses that cleaner. It's so bad & actually just got labeled as a pesticide by the EPA.

Yesterday, we ordered takeout from the San Ramon location and already felt that the seafood portion was noticeably smaller compared to dining in. Today, we ordered again through DoorDash from the Walnut Creek location, and honestly, I was very disappointed. The calamari pieces were extremely tiny and the portion felt far from what we usually receive. I truly love your food and wouldn’t be writing this if I didn’t care. But the inconsistency between dine-in and takeout. I hope the restaurant can understand this feedback and be more consistent with portion quality, regardless of how the order is placed. I’m sharing this with respect and honesty, hoping it helps improve future orders.
