The food was truly wonderful, and I appreciated how quickly everything was prepared. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making me feel comfortable, and the service was incredibly attentive and caring. WOULD COME AGAIN!!
Great sushi, and incredible people working here. Love me some Nama! The Gina Roll might be my fav! The jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried are incredible too. Great sake selection!
The sushi is amazing... We tried Gina roll, Ryan Roll, Stadium and tempura... all delicious.
We’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is always delicious! The sushi is good, the hot food is good, and the vegetarian and vegan options are diverse! It’s a crowd pleaser!! Fast and friendly service, too.
This restaurant, which I often order from, has become cleaner and tastier since the sushi chef changed. It's fresh, well-balanced, and all the dishes are delicious.
We had great dinner here. We will back to try something new from their menu.

Fresh clean taste shashimi dinner rolls, tempura, miso soup fantastic. Side parking lot. Large menu staff working efficiently. 1st time just WOW. Party of 10.

Every time I come to town I always eat here. Its the best and highly recommend.
Yakisoba was absolutely killer. So delicious and it came to the table piping hot. Miso soup was also the perfect appetizer to start. The chicken yakitori was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back.
We came in right around when I imagine the Sunday lunch rush had ended because for the moment we were the only two in the entire establishment. Things that stand out, the atmosphere is great. Being next to a busy intersection you'd expect a lot more road noise but it was relatively quiet inside. Great, and quick service. I can certainly see myself becoming a regular here because their chicken teriyaki is delicious. While the food was great my only gripe is parking. Good luck, and if you can park nearby it's worth the walk.
Went here this past weekend and of course took it home. It was about 40 with two miso soups and tip. Portions could be a bit bigger. But not by much. I would have liked more fish on the rainbow roll instead of shrimp. Tekka maki had one little guy (1st picture bottom right of the Tekka maki)overall I’d come again.
This location is a short walk from Pleasant Hill BART. They have a super wide selection of rolls at fair prices. We would dine here again.
The Salmon sashimi was delicious. My favorite item on the menu. Reasonably priced (4 pc / $10.95). Inside is a lot nicer than outside curb appeal. I recommend this place.

Nice owners and service. Fish wasn't very fresh. Teri chicken was good.
First time an probably the last time. Staff were nice. The location an restaurant was decent. Nothing crazy. However the portions for the prices were very noticeable. We had just eaten sushi the day before an wanted it again so we tried another place (here). We ordered practically the same stuff an our bill was almost $25 more. The salad was also brown an old but covered up in dressing so you couldn’t tell. When our rolls came out we each looked at each other about how small they were. One of the dishes was so hot an steaming it was almost as if they microwaved it an brought it to us. I didn’t even take pictures. If you live near by an need a to go quick place then this is it. But we probably won’t eat here again.
The food was pretty good. They had these little flip cards with pictures of all of the rolls so you could see what each one looked like. They had very large pieces of sashimi so you really get your money’s worth. While the sushi was good, I wouldn’t say it was exceptional. The crab meat in the California rolls were mixed with a lot of mayo which was gave it a weird texture and taste. However, the other rolls were pretty good.

Service, quality and quantity used to be really great. Portion sizes have gotten a lot smaller, seafood for the sushi sliced super thin. Service was super slow and never came to check on us. Maybe an off night?
Just get the rolls here, no sashimi or nigiri. Tried the sushi sashimi combo, really disappointing. Low quality fish, high prices. I don't mind paying $22 for a chefs choice but when I can pay the same at other joints for fresh fish it feels over priced here. The standard nama roll was alright.

The last two times we were there we’ve noticed the quality of the sushi and the sushi preparation and presentation has gone down. Also they seem to be skimping on the amount of fish on the sushi itself. We’ve been dining at this place for many years and I think we are going to look for another place. I also want to add that we also use to go to Nama that was in Pleasant Hill by the Century Theater that closed down.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered the 10 nigir platter and 6 of them were all the same fish and of poor quality. I literally paid $30 to eat the “Sprout discounted frozen fish on Wednesday” . My work place is near this restaurant and tried it a couple times last year and it was good. But now it's not good anymore. Will never come back again.

The sign said open, so we walked in. The lady was watching TV, looked at us, and said they were closed. She didn’t want to get up to flip the sign. I said sorry and left. I guess they don’t want customers.
I’ve been a fan of this place in the past, but on my recent visit, I noticed a decline in quality. I ordered California roll unagi nigiri and the tempura roll—they lacked flavor and freshness I’ve come to expect. The taste felt a bit off compared to more authentic sushi spots. Hoping it was just an off day, as I’d love to see the quality return to what it once was.
