Food was excellent. Great atmosphere! We had an amazing pizza ( crispy by style) cajun shrimp cesar salad seasoned perfectly! My fist time having a moscow mule and it didn't disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised by the use or real ginger beer!

Danny's is a fun, tasty spot to hit up next time or every time you find yourself in Walton. We just had some chicken fingers and beers on a very hot summer afternoon and it completely hit the spot. Table next to us was ordering garlic knots like they were going out of style so something tells me those are good. Friendly service and during these tough times, the outdoor tent does the job. Stop by and say hello.

Food was delicious, best penne vodka I've had in a really long time , France diavolo style . With chicken. Garlic bread was perfect and delicious, excited to come back and try their pizzas.

My NY Strip Steak was amazing! It melted in my mouth, its was plucked from my dreams, and sated my craving. Our server, Kathy, was super great! We had the full enchilada lol Appetizers, Cocktails, Meals and dessert! It's our date night go to place!!

Every time I'm in town I make a point to stop in a eat at Danny's. It's a very comfortable place where I always feel welcomed and the food is obviously made with care. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Food is always good. I stop in every time I drop in Walton. Small town vibe, obviously. Not fancy or modern. The bar is layed back, love that they give popcorn.

Food was AAAAMAZING our waitress was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. We're from California and hardly get this type of service, she was great. Service was fast and affordable. Clean restaurant and plenty of parking.

I’m a trucker from Texas and I wandered into this amazing experience, the ambience is so amazing I had to leave a review before exiting , I felt like I was home in Austin, relaxed and comfortable the staff was welcoming and the food was superb. I’m definitely remembering the small town of Walton, NY and hopefully I can make it back one day to my new family at Danny’s.

Excellent food and great service. I have a gluten intolerance and they have a good selection and understanding which is comforting! The wings were awesome and the gluten-free pizza was too! My son loved his Jack Daniels burger which was cooked to perfection. We will be coming back! I want to try more! I also want to Thank whoever paid our bill because my son is in the Army. Ordered take out, pizza and fries. The pizza looked, smelled and tasted fantastic. The price, very good, as most would charge $25 for a large and 1 topping. Fries were good as well. Would go back there again.

It’s hard to find a good place to eat up here in the mountains. This is our favorite place to go to and order from. The food is good. We are always greeted with a smile and service is pleasant. I would recommend it.

They should have a sign on the door of this place that says best steak in town. I had a New York strip from them. They cut it fresh. It was the most delicious steak I’ve ever had. I would recommend it to anybody cooked medium delicious, Also, I ate at every other restaurant in Walton and had a steak there their steaks couldn’t touch the steak with a 10 foot pole

Danny's is a wonderful place to eat at. The owner Wilma and her family are always greet you with love and make you feel right at home. When my Brooklyn friend's comes and visit the Catskills they always want to go see Wilma and the family. Wilma always come out from the kitchen to greet us with love and to sit with us to catch up on how we are doing. The food is delicious as always. The atmosphere is always friendly and loving. We always meet new friends when we come to Danny's. What a great family business. My friends wished they served breakfast and were open on Sundays.

The family owners of this Catskill gem always put in the time to keep the great food and terrific service way up on the food chain. Great steaks, pizza and soup n salad bar and everything in between. BTW the soups here are home made and “other-worldly!!” Enjoy.

Wilma runs Walton! Great value for the money. Food is delicious and reasonable priced. Salad bar and soup with every entrée! Wait staff attentive and professional. Wilma is also in real estate and knows every deal around. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Purchase a home and a great meal at once! THANKS WILMA YOU MAKE IT LOOK EASY.

Every time we go to Danny’s it is awesome. Twice we’ve gone when they’re super busy and have still been in and out in about an hour. The prices are good, service is always awesome, we’ve never had a bad meal and the owners are always extremely friendly. If you want pizza, burgers, salad, or a dinner, it is all amazing! Would highly recommend this place!

I eat here from time to time. You can't go wrong if you want a nice quiet evening on the town accompanied with some delicious food and reasonable prices. I really love the wings here coated with their everything sauce. The wings are a really good size for a fair price I usually get the as an appetizer. The staff is always very friendly and more than likely you will be able to lick where you want to sit!

Today was the first time I ordered from Danny’s. I placed my order with a very nice waitress and as I’m ordering I told her I was allergic to tomatoes. While I was waiting for my food, another waitress comes and says “we take allergies very serious” and stated my meal was taking a little longer because they were checking every ingredient and spice and used a clean area. I want to publicly say how thrilled I was that they went to such levels to make my meal safe to eat. My meal was absolutely amazing! Thank you to everyone for your diligence in preparing my meal... just thank you so much!!

I stopped in with two groups of bikers on short notice after a power outage at another restaurant. Food was good, and staff did a great job handling the rush.

A small town diner, nothing more, nothing less. The specials are usually decent and the service is good.

4 dollars for a side of fries with a sandwich and got like 12 fries. Fine if your going to charge for a side but if it's that much it should be a plate full.

A wonderful place and a credit to Walton. We had a pleasant lunch. A wide selection on the menu. Well prepared and pleasantly served. Well worth a visit if you're traveling route 206 or route 10.

The Reuben was recommended and it was delicious. I started with the clams, which were OK. I didn't realize I was paying $15.99 for a dozen that were oversteamed, but when I saw the $10.99 crossed out on the menu, I should have asked (or perhaps they should put the new price on the menu). If they were steamed one minute less, they'd probably be perfect, not so dry. The eggplant fries are really good IF you ask to get the marinara sauce on the side, otherwise, you'll miss the good taste of the eggplant and they'll come out soggy from swimming in that sauce. Why am I giving it 4 stars, because they fixed the problem I had with the eggplant, no questions asked and the clam price was mostly on me for not asking. I'm basing my review on the taste of the food. 😊

I was in the area visiting a vendor of ours, and they took us here for lunch. The menu is fairly large, but not so large that you struggle to make a decision. Check the chalk board on the way in for the specials. Three of us went with the meatball parm sandwich and a side of fries, which was a special for the day. The sandwich was great. Proportions were right on, and the meatballs tasted great. No issues with the fries either. All three of us agreed that it was a good choice. I'd also like to say that the staff all seemed very friendly. If you happen to find yourself in the area and are looking for something to eat, I'd recommend stopping by here. Look forward to stopping here my next trip up there.

Stopped in while in area visiting my daughter. Pizza was decent. Hamburger soup was tasty and molten cake was a nice finish. Cute place with friendly staff for an out of tower. Will definitely return in future.

We have yet to dine indoors but have ordered take out multiple times. We are not from the area but visit Walton frequently. Food is excellent! Rice balls(more like pies) are unbeatable. Seems like a great local spot to eat and drink. Most likely give 5 star rating after we dine in house. Thanks for the great food, always.

Steak cooked to done. Ordered chocolate cake. Looked like a donut. Not like the picture .

Sat down here while killing some time on my way up to Syracuse. I had wings and a sam Adams. It was $22. The wings were not very crispy and covered with way too much sauce. Service was fine.

I've had the best burger here in the past, even a few weeks ago. How could something go so horribly wrong tonight? I just can't.

Nice ambiance. Server took my plate while I was still eating my fries...felt rushed, so it was probably close to closing time. My wife and daughter enjoyed the food they ordered. Spicy cheeseburger soup was excellent. But whatever you do, DO NOT order their Philly Cheesesteak.

If you want to get waited on by Flo from Mel's Diner this is the place to go. Was not a pleasant dinner. If you're going to charge you good prices you need to deliver good food

Waited over an hour for appetizers, very Rude and the food is not good. Trust me don’t waste your time

They are nice folks. It is fine as a Tavern for bar snacks and sandwiches. We had a chicken club that was great but also a cheese steak that was a dried out mess. We also had French onion soup which was fine. The tab for 2 soups 2 sandwiches and 4 beers was $58 before tip.

Well today may have been my last time going here. It's a shame that this place has changed so much since covid. Not sure what's going on with the waitress in the bar section, I know in all the 20 year time I've gone there she's never really been overly friendly or very nice, even though we always have a decent bill and a very good tip. But today she was just extremely unfriendly. We went to have a nice lunch and she made us feel unwelcome and exhibited annoyance when I asked for 2 small things I needed. I saw her laughing and joking with other people, so I don't know what her problem was today. I wasn't expecting a song and a dance routine, but a little smile and friendliness would have been nice. Either way I refuse to go someplace and spend good money to be treated that way. I guess we'll just go to the new diner in town. They are always welcoming and nice. Always genuinely glad you are patronizing their establishment and show it. They will treat you like family if you like that and remember your name, it's very nice to be appreciated. And the food at the new diner is amazing.
