Giovanni's Pizza & Restaurant

I love this place! The service is friendly. The sauce is fresh and made on site. The thin crust is perfect. Even when the pizza is fresh and dripping with oil, it still has a great bite. Get there, it's worth it. Fresh veggies, not the canned ones lots of pizza places use. Check it out!

Not only does this place serve delicious, hot pizza but they have THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE by far! We ordered Pizza last week when we were expecting a couple inches of snow, and as it turns out we got almost a couple feet of snow! We called and cancelled our order as we felt bad for the driver. Would you believe JEFF still brought us our pizza AND didn’t charge us! He also would not accept a tip! Of course this amazing customer experience made us loyal! We ordered again tonight, and this time he delivered our pizza and surprised us with free delicious fresh cannolis! Simple acts of kindness go a long way. Keep it up Giovanni’s!

I’m from Brooklyn so I know whats great pizza.. this place is great pizza for what we call down in the city “upstate pizza”. My mom moved in the area and I was helping her settle in yesterday. She loved how clean and organized the place is. Will definitely be stopping by again and I’ll try and remember the young mans name that was behind the counter. He was hilarious. Thanks again!

Giovanni's is by far our favorite pizza place in the area. We've tried most delivery places in the area, and we keep coming back to Giovanni's. The sauce is great and not sweet. They use quality cheese. They're not your fancy pizza place, but they're your good solid reliable place for when you have a pool party or a cold winter night. We have only had their food delivered, and it's been great.

Amazing fresh ingredients! They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. We ordered Large buffalo Large cheese and a small pie! which all 3 were delicious! The sauce made to perfection! My familys go to when we are craving authentic Italian city pizza!

Definitely a hidden gem! Despite the appearance outside, the place inside is very nice and clean with a good atmosphere vibe. All the staff is very friendly and attentive. Now as far as food and pizza. AMAZING! Very good quality with fresh ingredients! My new favorite pizzeria.

I received a pizza and garden salad a little while ago from this restaurant and both were great. This was my first time ordering from there since the new owners took over. The place I normally order from only made pizzas up to 16 inches. This place has an extra large 18 inch pizza and it was delicious. My whole family enjoyed it and we will be ordering from here again in the future. Update: I have ordered food from this restaurant several times now and every time it's been great. Today, 3/31/21, we ordered the sausage and peppers and the chicken marsala entrees. Both were excellent! Keep up the good work guys.

If you are looking for the best pizza in Dutchess County, look no further. This place is hands down amazing. I recommend them to everyone I know because it is that good. Not only is their pizza great (all types) but everything from soups, homemade pastas and hot/cold heros is absolutely delicious. On top of the food, the family that owns it are just so nice and you can tell their food is made with love and they want you to enjoy. As long as I live in the area, this is my go to place. Thank you for bringing authentic good pizza and food to the area.

Ordered delivery while staying at a hotel nearby while traveling. Ordered the “house special”, I forget what it was called, but the pizza was decent. Not the best, not the worst. I think if it was cooked a few minutes longer (less soggy), it would have been much better. However, the “homemade cheesecake” was a total waste of money. It was a slice of frozen Sara Lee you could buy at a grocery store. I gave 4 stars for the pizza because I could see the potential if it was cooked a little longer, the cheesecake is at best 1 star.

We always order through slice from Giovanni’s and it’s usually good. This past Monday though our pizza was over 40 minutes late even though they’re 5 minutes from our house. Pizza was also cold and didn’t taste good. No explanation from delivery driver. We’ll have to take a break and find another pizza place for now. Disappointed.

Ordered the Alfredo pasta last week Saturday food was great so I decided to go back today (ordered for pickup on ubereats) and get the same thing and there was barely any sauce at all and the little sauce that was there was curdled, completely inedible. I called the restaurant and they told me “You don’t like? Call the company and get your money back” and hung the phone up. This establishments consistency with quality is terrible and the customer service is to die for. Would not recommend during the weekdays I guess.
