My favorite restaurant in Warsaw.
I was lucky to enjoy a truly exceptional experience in Nolita. We were party of seven and went for the prestige menu which included the white and black caviar, foie gras calamari risotto, king crab, octopus carpaccio with hummus and more. All the dishes were unique and thoughtful and I can honestly say that I’ve never had anything similar to these dishes. The level of thinking, the unique taste and the presentation were definitely worthy of a Michelin restaurant and the wine pairings were so fitting that we just kept talking about the food and how unique it was. I’m absolutely certain that I’m going to remember this dinner for many years.
I started with a classical, an Antonius polish caviar, with its smooth light salty taste with a Chablis wine. After that I had the Silvija with a risotto, the risotto could be actually better, it was missing white wine acidity in it. My coup de cœur ! Best signature dish was the tuna yuzu, impressive fresh taste accompanying the best tuna sort of the world. Another signature dish, a mixture between polish and Asian spices and food. Another amazing culinary experience was the octopus, after being boiled and gilled, it’s served with a crunchy accompaniment with a glas of vintage Chardonnay. Everything was perfect, the staff and the chef are very friendly, adding a note of sympathy and warmth to the place. I really enjoyed and recommend Nolita Restaurant in Warsaw.
Phenomenal restaurant, had the 5 course menu with the addition of wine selection. Food was absolutely amazing, service was outstanding and the chef himself was an amazing person. If you thinking about finding a great place for dinner or business meeting in the heart of Warsaw I can assure this is just to place to be.
We booked this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and it matched our expecations. We had the five course tasting menu with the wine package. Highly recommended! The wine pairings were near perfection. The weakest part of the dinner was the dessert, but overall it is a five out of five. Good service, and well worth the money.
Booked a table for a tasting menu where meals are not pre- defined but prepared specially for you based on basic menu and your preferences, allergies, ingredients restrictions. The service is excellent- easy going, no artificial behavior however very caring and professional- big plus for this. The food: tasting menu is 5 course with amuse- bouchée served couple of times. All ingredients are excellent, taste compositions are surprising sometimes ( especially starters) however it magnifies the experience of this restaurant. Meats and fish based dishes- delicious. You will also find a lot of foie gras adding in various meals. Note:You need to be really hungry for tasting menu as they will not let you go hungry.
Highly rate this place. Perfect food and service.
Excellent food and wine and very kind and attentive service, we had a great experience! Can highly recommend
This is the place where you know that you will find something extraordinary. Of course there is a price for that but the taste of every bite and oryginal way of serving dishes sticks to your memory and stays there for a long time! Menu is compressed but dishes are decent and worth every penny…however, remember to have them a lot (cash) when you get there because there is also great selection of fine wines which are not even close to be cheap…all in all - great experience, I will be back!
Went her for the tasting menu but ended up with a main course and desert and still very satisfied. Place wasn't super crowded but 3 couples was from Sweden, us included. Waiters are really humble so you never feel that there trying to stress you and also you don't have to call for them. Ford was really good but also quite expensive. Wine was awesome. Will definitely go back!
Heaven in a place on earth! Hats down, all I can say. Definitely top 10 meals in my life because that tuna tartare, bluefin tuna steak with foie gras, and octopus in wasabi are something that cannot be found elsewhere. Truly fantastic service that attends at a perfect time and answers all questions. Delicious bread that’s baked in house with butter infused with thyme and garlic that I wish I could scoop with a spoon. Oh how I wish I’d had space for dessert… will surely have to come back. Many thanks!
Went to Nolita for Chinese Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend, had a great time Have been in a couple of Michelin recognised restaurants before and yes, the experience was great. But there was one thing that really stood out The octopus MARVELLOUS I did not expect that. Why? Because Poland is not known for the seafood, and honestly, I don’t remember last time eating such well prepared octopus Great suprise in the middle of Warsaw, seriously Thank you for that and can’t wait to see you again!
What can I say, I expect Topp class from #1 rated restaurant in Warsaw according to TripAdvisor. They delivered! Of course it was pricey but they deliver on it, service was flawless and the foot, drank both Dom perignon from 2009 and a 17 year old red wine 🍷. Amazing experience. And one more thing, because we booked the same day and one of us was vegetarian they weren't able to offer a full 8 course tasting menu but they could prepare 6 curse! So book in advance because they said that they can offer that with som day in advance. But I think we got at least 7 course... 😯. Either way, it's amazing of them to adapt in so short notice. We did the wine pairing and we never received the same wine, for the veg or meat.. Which never happened before. Amazing!
A great place to celebrate an anniversary. Ingenious flavour combinations. Everything tasted great. Absolutely nothing to complain about (as long as you know what fine dining entails ;) ).
It confirm the Superior quality among other Warsaw' restaurant. Looking forward to see the star assigned! Well done
Everything is very good, the dishes are exquisite, the service attitude is very good, thank you for your food🤗
Very nice place, if you want to try something fancy. If you go there for lunch, you have the option to try a three dish course for 99 zt, which I found very nice in terms of what you get for the price. The food is very delicious and the service is on point, and the waiters are very aware of what is going on, so you never feel overseen, no matter the number of guests in the restaurant. Would recommend!
Great restaurant in Warsaw, went here for lunch and was not disappointed. Great take on Polish food, the Wellington was spot on. Staff were great, and the whole experience was excellent. Highly recommended.
Food was very nice , combination of the dishes was excellent, I think this places must have 1 Michelin
Great restaurant on high level Polish Cuisine. Not cheap but a good price - quality offer.
outstanding experience. Lovely staff and really nice food!
We had suprise menu 7 courses. Great food. Super servise.
Peaceful restaurant with nice service, the taste manue for 5 courses is amazing.
Delicious food (modern and creative interpretation of local ingredients). Great service and wine list.
The most amazing octopus in my life. 10/10
Delicious food with beautiful presentation. The chocolate souffle dessert was quite amazing!
World-class cuisine covering both modem and more classical dishes. Has a tasting menu and a la carte options. Be sure to try the Bluefin Tuna tartare.
Incredible meal. Exact kind of service and quality of food you'd expect for a michelin restaurant.
Great place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Warsaw
Good service, excellent tasting menu of the vegetarian variety with obvious love and craftsmanship in every dish. Our omnivore friend was saying he wouldn't have minded the vegetarian menu either. If you are visiting this page to get a recommendation, here it is: it is worth every single zloty. Go for it, it is amazing! Now, two very minor points of feedback, for the benefit of the restaurant, regarding the vegetarian menu on offer to us on that day: I have to say that the Indian course was a little bit of a sharp detour both in terms of quality and in terms of flavor, from the otherwise very well-balanced menu. Something spicy but sweet from the Indian kitchen (a good korma, for example) would perhaps have fitted the menu composition a little smoother. This unfortunately was a little jarring. Also, while both dishes were delicious, having two fairly similar mushroom dishes on the same menu was a little bit too much. Both dishes were excellent on their own in terms of execution, but having something added so as to raise the second dish (with linguini) to the next level and distinguishing it from the first with more contrast (pickled red onion? pickled traditional polish cucumber?) could perhaps, in my humble opinion, enhance the menu further. Thank you for serving me and my friends, we had a marvelous time and will be sure to visit again!
A must try in Warsaw. This chef has got some talent. I loved his tuna tartar entree so so much. Everything we had was absolutely great. It’s a nice place for a quite dinner if you are on your own too and want to be away from your colleagues like I was😜
Perfect "cuisine" and service. High level restaurant. You should try to reach a Michelin star. It was a memorable moment spent in your restaurant.
Polish restaurants remain largely undiscovered by many international visitors, yet they undoubtedly stand as strong competitors to some of the best dining experiences in Western Europe. It all begins with the food, which consistently impresses with its rich flavors and high-quality ingredients. But it does not end there—service is equally exceptional, warm, and attentive. The restaurant we visited for dinner today is clear evidence of this. We enjoyed outstanding dishes, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere that made the evening truly memorable. I would highly recommend exploring Polish cuisine—you will be pleasantly surprised.
Would definitely go back. It had really good food the service was great. There was nothing I can complain about other than I may have ordered to much food.
At this moment, for me, this is the best restaurant in Warsaw. I reserved a table for seven people to celebrate mother’s birthday. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly polite over the phone, spoke English fluently, offered various options, and provided detailed explanations—something quite uncommon for Polish service. Service is extremely important to me, and in this restaurant, I finally experienced genuine engagement from the staff, rather than just employees working their shifts. Every professional knew their role exceptionally well. An interesting detail—only men were working in the restaurant that evening! The food… oh my God, the food was divine! We opted for the classic five-course menu, and every dish was incredibly delicious, refined, beautifully presented, and served promptly. The interior… the paintings, sculptures, flowers, tableware—everything reflects the creativity and impeccable taste of the chef, who is also the owner of the restaurant. The restroom… I always judge a place by the cleanliness and upkeep of its restroom. A solid 10 out of 10. And of course, the espresso! A perfectly prepared espresso is an essential indicator for me, and here, it was flawless. Again, 10 out of 10. I highly recommend visiting Nolita—this is an experience that will stay with you.
Been there in December 2022. This is Michelin recommended, they do not have a star. Took tasting menu with wine paring. I would say there was the best sea bass with dark rice i ever tried, magnificent! Wine was not something special, could be better. Oysters are served without lemon and any sauce, they were to plain. Try pumpkin ravioli, interesting paring. Good classic cocktails, i had negroni. The bad thing was, that we were seated by the window, and there was a radiator, that was so hot, we couldn’t seat there because of heathens, and they can do nothing about this. Waiters are professional, talk to you. If you want to try good food i am highly recommend. Tasting menu takes about 2.5h
We never chased any Michelin’s restaurant but follow good reviews on google users. This happens to be a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Service was better than average, the environment gives an exclusive feeling. Dishes are well-made but not to a perfect level. I give higher score to their small taste dishes that they served for free. :)
I will explain my rating soon. Service is absolutely fantastic! Premium class. My gratitude the floor manager and the waiters! The food is good but mmm.... I will provide more details update my review. To be continued
Loved the desserts and bluefin Tatar
The only reason this is four stars instead of three is because all five previous visits to Nolita have always been an amazing experience. But the last dinner was shockingly disappointing: sloppily made dishes, and nowhere near the expected quality. Plus, the place felt a bit lifeless, resigned. Hopefully this winter depression will pass and the restaurant will return to its original glorious self.
Given the price point, expectations for this place were high. The tasting menu is Asian inspired - which is our favourite cuisine so we were off the a good start. The food in general was good, but not exceptional. The truffle beef pizza was really tasty, as was the octopus and soufflé. There were a couple of low points though - the duck soup was so salty it was inedible, and the tuna starter was slightly odd.
Lower your expectations. The food is tasty and presentation is nice, but no WOWs there. Also, the vibe is not that hi-end. We came on a Friday night, and it was very noisy as large group was there. We couldn't hear our waiter(though he was perfect), romantic setting obviously non existing and overall felt like an overcrowded eatery. The check at the end was way too high for the food we had . .
Great service and I liked the design and mood of the place, but I am leaving a low rating because I expected more from a fine dining restaurant when it comes to the quality of the dishes. We had the tuna starter, a dover sole meuniere, a seabass with chilli crab sauce. It tasted good but I’ve had better food in non-fine dining restaurans. I would not come back or recommend it. As someone else in the review said - there is no Wow here.
As someone who has dined in many Michelin-stared restaurants all over the world, I understand why this restaurant doesn’t have a star. In short the food is nothing really exceptional, the flavours are too familiar to someone who has lived in Asia (or went to the Asian restaurant for this matter). There is nothing innovative or remarkable about the plates. The presentation can be improved, for example the bison steak plate was looking like nothing with puddles of sauce that look unappetising, even though the flavour was ok. The “pizza” was advised to eat with the hands. Eww. My hands were disgusting after that, If I want to eat greasy food I will go to a street eatery. The soufflée was tasting cheap the mix of Nutella and weird texture egg pudding. I have eaten a true soufflée in France and it was nothing to do with that 🤢 The service is average. The waiter will serve you your water until it overflows the glass, but when your glass is empty there is nobody to fill it. The level of English for some waiters can be better. When I pay so much money for the restaurant I want to remember the dishes for a long time. I have already forgotten what I have been served. I suggest you go elsewhere for a fine dining experience and food.
We got lucky getting in. The maitre d was a fine and friendly man who called us when someone else canceled. Very much appreciated! 👍🏼 Service of the staff was friendly, with a sense of professional humor and wit! English is not their first language, so it's always extra appreciated when someome is doing their best in their non-native tongue! 🙏🏼 We had the 5 courses with wine pairing and champagne for starters. Some spoilers and positive points: The bread and butter were home made, and especially the brioche bun was perfect! Love the sweet-salty butter, too! Tuna and the other fish-dish were very nice! Enjoyed every bite. We were really impressed with the broth's and different 'soups' with the dishes... loved them! Really powerful in their taste and perfectly balanced. Their interpretation of "Peking Duck" was really nice as well! Cooked perfectly and the sauce.... really nice touch! Also the quick, 1 cheese platter, with a bit of Italian truffle and sweet Polish honey.... very nice! The dessert: their way of making of a Snickers ice-cream..... fun, edgy and something else! Loved it. Never had the flavor of peanut butter at a fine dining experience, and it was really nice too! 😁 Some downsides: The wine pairing..... not the best. Predictable, and sometimes even boring or even "not well paired". A champagne for starters that adds another 50eu before you even started........ that's harsh for a restaurant without Michelin-stars (plural) - especially when the price is not mentioned. Which I get, but it wasn't a pleasant suprise... We believe it's important that the waiter(s) or sommelier can tell a bit more about the wine (and WHY you paired it!!!) than what is on the bottle. Also, wine is poured up to the 'curvature' of the glass... we had multiple glasses that were not filled up properply. When the bottle is done, before you correctly poured a glass..... you (unfortunately) get another one. #basics The sweet wine vs the waygu dumplings and the spicey prawn broth (again, this was great, some of the better I have ever had!!!), just did not add up for me... I understand the idea of sweet vs. spicey, but this wasnt it for me. Drinking almost sherry like white wine, with a starter... Also, when doing a bit of an 'edgy' sweet, dessert.... dont come in with a quite regular Tawny port! It was a lovely port, don't get us wrong! But again, it wasn't the match we were looking for... it could have been something more 'explosive' or 'out there'. Everything adding up: 350 euro's is a lot of money. Especially for Poland, but also even for Dutch, Belgium, German, Luxembourg or even French fine-dining restaurants... If we pay that amount, I want more than 5 courses. And definitely better wine-pairing. Small detail: if my girl asks for the bill, and puts her cards on the table.... 'she' is paying. Don't ignore her and give me the bill.
We took 2 lunch menu: 1: blue fin tuna, beef, tiramisu - fantastic starter and dessert. 2: artichoke, linguine, ice cream - decent starter and dessert, terrible main. The linguine was a soup of butter with pasta and mushrooms. Both separately were nice, but the butter drowned it all. When clearing the table, I flagged that to the waiter. His answer «we serve it all the time like that,so… » When is that ever a reason or an excuse! We had food at Stary Dom and Gessler restaurants that week, and it was much better! Menu 2 was not innovative and pretty average Menu 1 highlights: b alanced flavor in the starter, various textures in the dessert. Will not come back nor recommend for the price paid.
Nolita disappointment A restaurant without any philosophy in its menu, simply management of raw materials. We took the historical menu for €190 per person and it came with 5 dishes, 1 dessert and 2 desserts in respective restaurants and indeed awarded with 1 or 2 michelin stars you will get from 13 to 15 dishes in total. Now in terms of flavors the ceviche was delicious, so was the king crab but I wouldn't seek them out again, they didn't stick in my memory. The wagyu well cooked, but its accompaniment a disappointment. The octopus was covered in hot pepper The sweets apart from the ice cream were indifferent. The atmosphere is nice and the staff very helpful, with the exception of a gentleman who seemed to be the chef who visited other tables to put truffle or sauce on their plates, but he didn't even come to our table to say just good evening. Overall overpriced restaurant for what it offers 500€ for two persons And the Michelin star seems like an elusive dream We would not go again
We had the tasting menu, the food was too salty and had too much pepper in it, like everything. Desert was looking ok but also not good. My friend started to feel huge pain in the stomach after the 3rd course and the personnel didn’t help with anything, offered some herb liquor.
After visiting the restaurant (we ordered oysters and a prestigious menu) signs of poisoning appeared 4 hours later. Vomiting, diarrhea, severe headache (one of us did not drink alcohol) - Food is of inadequate quality. I do not recommend visiting.
The food is great, but the manipulative tactics they use to pressure you into spending more are shameful. The upselling is relentless and kills the experience.
