Catrina's Mexican Grill & Cantina

Quiet and clean atmosphere. The customer service was excellent. The host and waiter was friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious. I recommend this restaurant for couples who want to have a date night.

For me the Chile Verde was very good. We found this place a year ago while we were in Bakersfield. We liked it then so we had to revisit it again this year.

Found this place on Google while passing through the area on Hwy 99 late Oct or early Nov 2021. Had great reviews so we decided to try their food. Excellent Mexican food. Good portions. We ordered to go & food was prepared hot & fresh & service was pretty fast. Place is nicely decorated & furnished. Restroom was clean & well-maintained. Busy during dinner time on a Saturday night. Would definitely visit again whenever we're passing through the area.

Catrina's is a favorite of my wife and I. Great food and drink variety. I understand Karaoke happens...we just have not made it to any of those nights...yet. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The service is the best! Rene has been our server every time we've gone and he is so awesome. Always a great experience with him! The food is really good too. My favorite is the fajitas, my boyfriend loves the chili verde. The drinks are also great. All around, really great place. Definitely one of our favorites in town.

Great service. Cesar took great care of us. Seafood enchiladas were awesome, chips and salsa were great too. We'll be back next time we drive through Wasco. Served quickly and you could tell care was put into preparing our dinner.

This place is a 💎. I took my wife and son. We ordered chile verde rice and beans. Green enchiladas rice and beans. Flautas de pollo with rice and beans. All plates were amazing. All the food was hot. Everything had very good flavor. My chile verde was great. Pork was very soft and tender. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very nice and always made sure we were ok with everything. Again this place is the real deal.

My Grandma loves this place! so she had to bring the family. They had great food very tasty nice service, we both had the 2 combination plate chili relleno and enchilada rice and beans the rice is the best mex rice I had in awhile, and I had the Budweiser michelada very tasty so we will definitely be returning soon .

My Grandma loves this place! so she had to bring the family. You get to know Cesar and Marcela the moment you walk in the door. They're true invested business owners that care about the people they serve and the food they prepare. Always enjoy the lunch special and the personal experience that never ceases. Living in the central valley you have a lot of exposure to Mexican food. I stand by my statement that this is my favourite place by far. Not only for the quality and price of food, but the experience of eating in that little restaurant in Wasco. You almost feel like you're just going over to your neighbor's house for dinner, something that you get in very few restaurants nowadays. Keep it up, and I hope y'all are here for years to come.

The fajitas are outstanding! The ambiance is very relaxed, the service very friendly, the food delicious! A hidden gem on Hwy 43 in Wasco, if you are in the neigborhood, don't miss it! BTW, it has a fully stocked bar, I recommed a margarita on the rocks.

My husband & I just went yesterday because we love having the Campechana (Mexican seafood coctail w/ everything) it's always great tasting & always so much that we have to share it 😋 but lately the servers/waiters have been the young teenage boys & you can tell that they've not been properly trained to giving great service like the lady servents before. I just watch them pass by never asked us if everything was good or if we needed anything else 🤷 I hate to leave a bad review because the service has really gone down & don't think we'll be going back anymore sadly 😔

Catrina's use to be very good, expensive, but good. We would be greated with a smile and welcomed. Went with my family today and was very disappointed. The greating was eventually by a woman with a frown and a short "how many?". Prices went up, portions decreased, drinks watered down, and food not cooked as ordered. Had to ask for condements multiple times before receving them. Husband ordered a steak medium rare and it came cooked well done, politly sent it back and the steak came raw.. not rare but raw. I will no longer be recommending this resturant.
