So happy we passed this place en route up to Fairbanks yesterday. The burgers were incredible, portions were great, and service was more than welcoming.

This place redeemed itself and I'm glad I tried it again. I did previously leave a single star rating, but it's purely because I obviously picked the worst thing on the menu. It's called a burger place for a reason. GET THE BURGERS. The chicken nuggets are also pretty nice, but do not get the shrimp 😭 The burgers are where this place shines, with a lovely char on the outside of the patty, to a nice juicy and flavorful inside of said patty, it's very filling and satisfying! I appreciate the owner and what he does as a one man band, I have yet to see another employ, which makes me respect this guy even more. He knows what he's doing when it comes to burgers and that's what matters in a burger house. I will happily be coming back for more food 😁 (Just never getting the shrimp again)

Food was good and fresh. Generous with the fresh toppings on the burgers, even for the kids menu. Inside it’s a bit “old” but also a lot of interesting decor to look at. Gentleman behind the counter was polite.

Everything is great about this burger, save for the meat, which seems sysco-like. The toppings were great! Everything is good except the quality of meat.

The Hawaiian burger i got was real bad no pineapple no teri sauce soggy bun fries were ok made with old oil you can taste it but the man that made it was so so rude never never again n I will post this all over wasilla took one bite n threw away

I do not write reviews at all but wow. Grumpiest person I’ve met in a long time. Really hope that they can get a new front desk person. Sorry you’ve had a bad day, but you shouldn’t let it ruin your customers day. Food is cold and not made the way I asked. Sucks when you pay and it’s crap service.

This was my first and last time trying to go here. The service was horrific and the guy (don’t know his name but he was a larger man with brown hair and a big beard) who spoke to us was extremely rude. Probably shouldn’t cuss at customers. Will never go back.

Over priced!! Plain frozen fries, and an over cooked tough hamburger. Don't waste your time or $$! Worst burger I have had in years!! The table was sticky and not clean. Salt shaker has dried food on it.

I was very excited to try this place because my husband had put it on a pedestal for a couple of years before we had gone. The first issue that I had was the fact that they took cash only. The service was horrific. The people were very rude, very cold, no customer service, which was very surprising to me given that it seemed to be kind of a family owned business. As someone that has worked as management with 20+ years of customer service I really expected much more than what we received as far as customer service went. What really got me though was the fact that the hamburgers were incredibly dry, there were no condiments to be found. Not to mention the fact that we were told that in order to have condiments, like mayo, we had to pay extra. I don’t understand why you would make me pay extra for a condiment that is naturally on a burger. A can of soda was something like $3 each. The atmosphere was very dull. It really seemed to give off the same energy as the people at the counter. My husband was so disappointed, he couldn’t believe what he had just experienced after years of telling me how wonderful this place was. I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what changed, but the food is not worth it. The customer service makes it especially not worth it, the fact that it’s cash only is absolutely crazy, and the complete coldness of the employees is enough for me to say that I will never return there nor will I ever recommend them to anybody. I truly hope they figure it out and bring back the establishment that my husband loved so much.

Very very rude old lady working here. I went to the other location and had great service. She had a rude attitude with me when I asked about payment options because I did not have my atm card to grab cash. Other payment was accepted at the other location so I thought I would ask. Very rude. Never going here again.
