Very friendly service even after we showed up at 9: 20 p.m. to order food to go when they close at 10:00 p.m. While we waited for our food We looked around the gift shop at all the cool and unique things that they had for sale. They had a lot of old items from back when I was growing up. All the old school games or mini versions like Pac-Man and qbert mini pinball machines, many old maid and war playing cards, all kinds of different pocket pets, mini cabbage patch kids, garbage pail kids, pez dispensers, connect Four, etc. They also have a bunch of different kitchen decor items that fits my daily pretty well. Lol. Sayings like "Relax we're all crazy, it's not a competition" and "I shook the tree and a bunch of nuts fell out" and "our home is full of nuts" lol. Everything is reasonably priced. Before we could even finish looking at everything they already had our order ready.
Ordered 1/2 & 1/2 peach tea and lemonade with our meal, amazingly good peach tea and the mix was perfect. On the second round, our server, Ben, added a shot of Strawberry lemonade to the mix.... sublime. The food was great, service was also great.
I had come in today with my wife looking forward to some of those amazing pancakes, we were greeted my Philip with a very warm and welcoming greeting. In all my years I have never encountered someone who was so polite, even though they were crazy busy he still made time to chat with me and made me feel the family environment. 10/10 will come again.
There food is good and so was there service and there bloody Mary is good to definitely be going back
It was Josh’s first day here at the Weatherford, TX store. He was very polite, and attentive. At checkout David was fun and polite. Both of these young men were very professional. This was my first time to come on here alone since my husband passed. These two young men were exactly what I needed.
Enjoyed breakfast today. The food was amazing and our server was very friendly. Excellent customer service from the hostess to the table. That is hard to find these days and always appreciated!
My wife and I ordered breakfast even though it was almost noon today. I had the Grandma sampler and my wife French Toast and some separate items sort-of a-la-carte including the hashbrown casserole which is always delicious! All of the food was fantastic but even better was the service we received by our waiter Jeffery he was very attentive to our needs. We found him very polite, patient and kind. A young lady named Piper checked us out. We've encounter her on many visits and she always greets people with a nice smile and is very professional! Unfortunately this is not the case at some restaurants in our area so we wanted to share our good experience as a way to show our appreciation. Thank you so much!
Always love it when get a chance at eating and checking out Cracker Barrel store.... Stopped for meal in Weatherford on way for Dr appointment and was grateful to see a employee (who way he handled situation I thought was the Manager) who was the cashier at time handle a long line when two older gentlemen started mouthing loudly about needing more registers, guy wasn't moving fast enough etc. I paid and then heard the cashier apologize to the gentleman but he was moving people along as fast as he could. So respectfully and professionally handled which you almost never see anymore at retail, restaurants or other service locations..... So after getting hubby and grabbing bag, I had to stop and tell David how impressed I was with his handling of the older gentlemen... Only to find out David is just a shift leader Wake up Weatherford Cracker Barrel, you've got an A+ retail oriented employee in David!! Plus our waitress and food great too!!
I love this restaurant..I travel very often and I know if I want a variety of choices in food this is the place to go...I could eat lunch, breakfast or dinner at any time.. and always fresh food. Today, I had backyard chicken it was tender and so juicy. Dallas tx the traveler
This store in Weatherford Texas is great. One of the Employees Trish is always very kind and helpful. I get meals to go there a few times a month. She actually remembers my name and always makes sure my order is correct before I leave. Store is always clean and all employees always great you. JR
We had a great time and what we ordered was amazing and delivered in a timely manner. Kadence was absolutely wonderful! She was pleasant to talk to, quick service, and recommended some items that made the experience that much better. We will definitely ask for her area next time.
My Steubenville Lone Star group had lunch here along with another group from our town, and the quality was great. We got our food quickly, despite four dozen teens coming in at once, and the food was great.
Cracker Barrel in Weatherford, TX, never disappoints! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The food was absolutely delicious—comfort food at its finest! The biscuits and cornbread were fresh and fluffy, and the. fried chicken was cooked to perfection. The sides, especially the mac and cheese and green beans, were flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was exceptional; our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The store area was a fun bonus, with so many unique items to browse while waiting for our table. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this Cracker Barrel location delivers an amazing dining experience. We’ll definitely be back soon for another hearty meal and warm hospitality!
It was my son's first visit there for breakfast and he was amazed at all the options there were for breakfast. He ended up getting the French toast and chicken. He loved it! Our server was amazing as well (I wish I remembered her name :( ).. We were there Sunday morning around 10 am and sat in the section closest to the store part.
I mentioned Cracker Barrel to my friend and we were both in agreement that we wanted to shop and eat! The service from beginning to end was outstanding as was the food. I felt such peace ordering comfort food and it came out perfect I cannot believe how much I enjoyed the experience, the food, the store, my goodness, I felt so complete comfort all the way around.
We love the food, we love the atmosphere, and we always have courteous, servers and hostess. That’s why we keep coming back. We try to make it a visit every two weeks if not more. Thank you for all that you do.
My mom, brother and I were on our way back to Abilene from JPS hospital in Fort Worth and decided to stop and eat before heading home. We love eating at Cracker Barrel in Abilene so why not stop and eat at one in another city. Our waitress had our food out before we could even finish the biscuits she brought out, made sure our drinks were refilled. Our food was exactly what we ordered...lemon pepper rainbow trout with our selected sides. It was all around a nice stop to eat and rest my eyes from driving as my mom can't drive long distances and my brother is getting over a concussion from a massive seizure so all the driving was on me. We will definitely be back again when in the area.
I want to take a moment to recognize our server, Courtney, who truly made my visit to Cracker Barrel unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, her warm smile and welcoming attitude set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Courtney’s service was nothing short of amazing. She was attentive without being overbearing, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. What really stood out was how she went above and beyond to ensure that my allergy needs were fully addressed. She carefully double-checked ingredients, communicated with the kitchen staff, and reassured me throughout the process, giving me complete confidence that my meal was safe to enjoy. Not only is Courtney an incredible server, but she’s also great to look at! Her warm smile and friendly demeanor make her a standout, and her professionalism is matched by her natural charm and elegance. She had positive energy and genuine friendliness that elevated our experience even further. She took the time to engage with us and make us laugh, making us feel like more than just another table on her shift. Her dedication and professionalism were evident in every interaction, and it’s clear she takes great pride in her work. I can’t wait to come back to be served by her again. She’s truly a shining gem!
My husband and I come here every Sunday. This is the best service we’ve ever had. Janie, our waitress, was super attentive and kind. Our coffee cups never got emptied that she wasn’t here to refill them. She brought us everything we needed quickly even though she was busy with other tables too. In talking to her we found out that she has worked here 11 years. After 11 years of service to Cracker Barrel, I hope they understand what value she brings to their organization. Everything we ordered was great too but having great service made it an extra enjoyable experience. We went to this location again this past Tuesday evening. My husband got the fried turkey and I got the homestyle chicken. The food was great but our server, Savannah, was even better. She was very attentive and sweet. The entire dinner experience was great!
An amazing experience everytime I go. Service is lightning fast and food is amazing! I give it a 5/5!
Our softball team went for brunch after our games and from the moment we walked in and requested tables for 30 ppl they were on it. Not long of wait, communicated the whole time to make sure we had all the space we needed, Kinsley and Hailey provided great service the whole time making sure all our kids had what they needed. Definitely will be going back if we ever have more tournaments nearby!
Chesney was an EXCELLENT server!! She was so attentive to our needs and made us laugh and smile. She took service and turned into hospitality. I couldn't get over how much my daughter, her and myself all looked alike too ..I asked her to take a picture and she did.... She was so kind. I will be back and ask ONLY for her. The manager didn't seem to kind that she took a picture with us and he seemed to have a negative disposition... He could take a play from her book and smile more, interact with customers more and laugh a little more. I personally did not appreciate him coming to our table and asking to see her in his office loudly in front of us. It really made me feel uncomfortable. If I could only give him a 1 star rating I would. The 5 star is only for her and her service.
We love the assortment of dishes you can choose from. Whether it's a big breakfast you crave, or a small dinner salad you crave, Cracker Barrel has it. Great food, friendly waitresses and waiters, and one heck of a store full of candy, crafts, and clothing. We call it the 3 C's. Pro Tip: When preparing for a trip, stop by Cracker Barrel, eat a good breakfast, and ask for a map. They have a map that shows most of the restaurants on your journey, so you can plan your next stop and try a different dish. My favorite? Campfire beef. It's like pot roast, but wrapped in foil, and a little spicier than their normal pot roast. It comes with two corn on the cob pieces too all wrapped in a steaming hot cast iron plate and covered with tin foil to lock in the flavor and heat. Delicious. Our Weatherford Texas local Cracker Barrel is our choice for good 'ol home-cooked meals, without the dishes! Enjoy ya'll!
I would like to edit my review. I didn’t mean In anyway that it was bad food. So I’m going to re wrote that! I personally didn’t care for the breakfast casserole. But the food is always good and breakfast is my fave thing here. I always get the waffles or French toast which are hands down the best ones ever. This location is always clean and friendly Our waitress was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.
We had a great experience here. All employees were kind and seemed to really care about the patrons. The little store in the front was well organized and clean. I always love shopping in the store because there are such random goodies!! The food was good. It came out promptly and was hot and fresh. They have a great kids menu. I feel like most children would be able to like something on the kids menu. Even picky eaters because there is a good variety of things to choose from. I would definitely eat here again.
We love staying overnight with our RV in the parking lot when we travel around the country and always enjoy eating there. My favorite is the Turkey dinner on Thursday.
Well stocked and very helpful staff. It has been a couple of years since we had visited so I was pleasantly surprised to see Cracker Barrel serving wine and beer, plus wine based mixed drinks. Some of our favorites have left the menu but they clearly made a point of keeping most customer favorites. I'm a bit sad to see a shift to a greater percentage of fried food. Thank goodness they still have wonderful biscuits, amazing turnip greens, and chicken and dumplings.
Always have a great experience at Cracker Barrel. This time was exception. Once we entered the restaurant we were greeted by friendly staff and by pleasant smells of the store and of the restaurant. Our server, Savannah, was very friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, hot, tasty, & abundant. No way you leave hungry here!
Go us in quick. Food was fast, hot & fresh. Service was wonderful. We were able to use a reward for free seasonal salt & pepper shakers too
Great dinner for my wife and myself. Super good male server. 5 stars this trip.
I love this place. The food is good, staff is very friendly/helpful. Last but not least the nostalgia when eating inside is out of this world. I'd definitely recommend people to eat here.
Service wasn't the best. When I first got up to counter to be seated 2 other guys came up right after me. The lady looked right past me at them asking if it was just 2 for the table. I looked right her saying I guess I'm invisible I was here already. Then My server although was sweet she was not very attentive. My coffee was not refilled but once then she wasn't around again until she saw I was done and wanted a to go box. Would definitely have this for breakfast again though because it was delicious. Service could be better.
Oh my!!! Delicious, perfect, on time! ALONDRA are waitress was the best i have had in years. She made my husband's and I night perfect. She was attentive and shared a story and sweet. I couldn't of asked for a better dinner. Food was gone before I could get a picture. Sorry! Tye chicken and rice was amazing. I'll have to ask for her as long as she is there. Thank you for the pleasant evening.
Love Cracker Barrel. It was super busy with it being 2 days before Christmas. But it didn't take long to get a table. And the serve time was good! Our server, Liz was very helpful and courteous. Chicken and dumplings! yum! One son had steak and eggs and the other one had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and hash brown casserole! Thank you!
What can I say we had amazing food and the best server we have had in a very long time. Cracker Barrel has always been good to us. I know sometimes the wait is long and the customer service has been just ok in the past. I will say this was not the case today. They definitely were super busy and even with that our server was top notch. He had a lot of tables and still never neglected us one bit. In fact he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. All of our food was hot and fresh. We had a good experience as always. We will be back soon.
Just wanted to give a shout out to our waitress Caitlin. She was so sweet and kind to us. Definitely a keeper and we will be back soon!

Everything was good except my scrambled eggs were not cooked completely. The waitress was very sweet though and I chose not to say anything. Just didn't eat them
Decent food. Great service and atmosphere. Nothing fancy, totally casual.
We had a party of five, and the man at the door seemed less than interested to be at work. In fact, he took everyone's information since there was a wait, but then none of our information was relayed for a table. We waited for over an hour for a table that was never coming, and no one even thought to ask why we had been standing around so long. After finding all of this out, we were seated as quickly as they could. The service after that was better. The food was good.
Went on Sunday afternoon with two friends. We were seated fairly quickly. Waitress was friendly & attentive. I asked if the chicken fried steak (it has another name, but I can't remember what it was) was fresh & battered fresh, or if it was frozen. I was told it was fresh. When it arrived, it was obvious it was not fresh & it tasted a bit old. I was very disappointed. The majority of their food is delicious, but not this one. I now know not to order this dish there. Their store is always great & I love shopping there!
Excellent Cracker Barrel location. Our server Julie was a delight! Food was served up hot and fresh.
We had a great meal today at Cracker Barrel. Everything that was served was perfect temperature and delicious. The service was great. The young man, David, who was at the cash register was extremely pleasant even during a rude exchange from a customer. We’ll be back!
My brother and I both had meatloaf. My food was as tasty as I had expected. The only complaint was how hard it was to open the butter for our biscuits and cornbread. Our server was a younger man who may have asked us if we needed anything else 15 times in the 30 minutes we were eating. Thankfully my brother gave him tasks to do 3 times or he may have been by MORE! Lol. Always a great place to shop. They have little grim reapers on wheels that move around when they sense motion. Scared and intrigued the heck out of some little ones. Made me almost buy one!! It was loud by the way. If I had a soft spoken or hard of hearing person I would not have enjoyed the experience as much.
Decided to try out Cracker Barrel after seeing multiple signs on the highway advertising the restaurant! I’ve always been intrigued by their menu after a new spot opened up where I used to live, just never got the chance to try them out. I love the atmosphere once you get inside. We entered through the shop and were greeted with a super cute country store filled with lots of holiday decor and various snacks and candies for sale. We decided to browse around after eating so we made our way to the hostess in order to be seated. They took a little while to come out and bring us to our table but at least they acknowledged the wait and apologized. We didn’t mind that much anyways. The restaurant is a good size. I imagine they’re busy on weekends but we happened to stop in on a Friday afternoon at an off peak time so there weren’t many customers present. Our waitress was very attentive once we were seated. She always made sure to come and check in on us. If we needed anything during our visit she was quick to grab it for us. Now onto the good part: the food. We got a basket with corn muffins and biscuits to start. I believe all tables get them for free. Definitely a staple! I loved their biscuits, I topped mine with a little bit of butter and jam. It was warm, tasty and flaky. The perfect biscuit. Unfortunately the corn muffins tasted a bit bland. Definitely go for the muffins! Off the menu I ordered the bacon Mac and cheese side and their broccoli cheese casserole. Both were delicious! Very fresh. We did have a 15 minute wait for the broccoli cheese casserole but it was worth it! Definitely something I can see being a hit at holiday get togethers. I’d probably opt out of the bacon topping on the Mac and cheese because it was a bit salty, but the Mac and cheese was good. Very cheesy! My fiancé ordered one of their seafood platters and said he enjoyed it. Just a lot of food! Probably a meal that can be shared. My brother in law got their catfish, unfortunately he said he didn’t really like it. He stated the flavor was lacking. Overall I enjoyed the food that I tried and the service was great! Definitely looking forward to trying out more of their menu items. Give them a try if you have upon a Cracker Barrel in your area! Edit: also forgot to mention we tried their white cheddar cheese bites and they were pretty good! A little salty though!
Nice laid back atmosphere. Great service. The food was flavorful and pretty delicious. The temperature could have been a little warmer on the fries. The portions are okay, not overly generous but enough most likely. Overall, it's worth a go! The gift shop is a great place to search for all kinds of goodies.

Waited 10 minutes after being sat had to go get someone for service. Had wait staff sitting at customer table talking while I watched and waited another 10 minutes for a box. My daughter had to leave. I sat and waited. Very sad experience
When I went to check out I specifically told the cashier I wanted to ONLY redeem my birthday reward... she opens her big mouth about the other $10 and $5 rewards in front my husband and I asked her why did she say that after I told her what I wanted...pissed me off... I wanted to save my points..i really felt like she did it on purpose....😡😡😡
Chicken fried steak little bland. Sides ok. Wife wasn't too impressed. I had loaded mashed potatoes and chicken and dumplings. Both were just ok. The one in Denton I think is much better.
As always the place was nice like a Cracker Barrel should be. Staff was nice and friendly, but the food was fairly cold when I received my meal. A few other people at the table said theirs were cold too. It didn’t matter, we were all in a hurry to get out of there so we all ate but it seems a lot CB locations have gone downhill. It’s a shame because it used to be a dependable spot to stop for a good meal really anywhere stateside but not anymore. Portions are smaller and the prices are higher. Will be a while until I return to any Cracker Barrel I think.
Was told 10 minutes to be seated 40 minutes later! We finally got seated, ordered food didn't take too long for it to come out. The meals all came out correctly. Everything tasted good. It was just the wait time that killed the whole mood for this experience. We will be back, there was five of us in the party.
There was very little option for vegetarians. Mostly just sides, and even then, many veggies had pork based flavorings/bits in them.
Food was pretty good except one of our cornbread muffins was hard as a rock and the plate my burger and fries was served on had leftover rice and a piece of okra on it. Wondering if they accidentally grabbed it from the pile of dirty dishes instead of the clean ones. 😬 On a positive note though, our server was attentive and friendly.
Service was great, but food portions were smaller and were not as tasty than other franchises I've been to. The bacon is usually my favorite, big slices cooked perfectly. Here, they were about 1/2 size and undercooked. The sausage gravy was tasteless even after adding black pepper. I'll choose another CB next time.
Food quality not as good as it was years prior. Meatloaf is mushy in the middle and greasy. Not cooked all the way through. Cornbread not cooked all the way through either. Miss the good ole menu!!
Catfish didn’t seem fresh. Hashbrown casserole the same. And I usually love it. My wife got the chicken and dumplings and they were so thick and had no broth. Just a lump of dumplings. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food that we both stated we wouldn’t eat there again unless it is for breakfast.
I know I'm going to sound petty probably but still....when the hostess took us to our table she also made a big deal about the items in this little "Specials Menu". So I checked em out. Then, we open our regular menus & there's a huge insert with the same specials with even bigger pictures and our waiter made a special point for us to check them out so we did. Now, it's order time. I order the S'mores Latte from the special menus. " Sorry, we don't have that". Then I try to order a starter. Nope! "Were out of that today". Oh my geeze. Now I order my meal and guess what?? My side item choice, they don't have that either! My husband says to the waiter, maybe you can let her get her meal minus the side and minus the drink but let her her get a dessert for her troubles. His response was, "I definitely can NOT do that". He should've, on his own, spoke to his supervisor on my behalf or made a better decision personally. It was only 7:30 p.m., their open til 10 so should not have been out of so many items. Makes me not wanna go back. Sad
The customer service was excellent but the food is not what I would call home cooked! Is commercial, bland, but the over easy eggs were good. Gravy was the worst though. I would recommend going to small mom and pops cafes unless this is the only option. I will say though, the social distancing system in place was impressive.

++++Breakfast of biscuits gravy and bacon, friendly staff, reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere. \n--Bad coffee and country & eastern sound track
Used to be you could get a decent breakfast here. But lately the quality has seemed to really slip. Under cooked bacon, over cooked eggs, and clearly some of the foods are prepared in a microwave.
Last time we tried to dine-in, we were seated and never helped. Asked for a waiter/waitress a couple times, person whispers something on her mic and still nothing. sat for about 10 minutes then left. Now we try to-go orders, first try was good food so we try again last 2 times its like they make the togo orders awful on purpose. 1 dried up cornbread for 2x $20 entrees. Rice that was cooked yesterday. Mush with grease and brown sauce that is supposed to be "dumplings". 7$ cake was from 3 years ago. Obviously, I wouldnt recommend this to anyone.
Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite places for Sunday brunch. Yet this past experience wasn’t it. We went in to celebrate my birthday and we were seated very quickly for having a party of six. Once we were seated we waited 25 minutes for our server. When she did greet us she was very nice, but It took over an hour before we got our food and when I had got mine the steak tips were practically burnt. When I tried to talk to a manager there wasn’t one available for the restaurant only the shift leader for the store side and he wasn’t able to help us. Overall it was very disappointing.
I'm sure they put cook a big pot of chicken and dumplings ahead of time but then i guess they put them in the fridge. Because middle of the bowl of mine was cold. Not cool, dumplings were cold. We kept needing stuff and never could we see our waitress. Twice we had to ask another wait staff person to go find her.
Very disappointed today. Went for lunch, we get seated quickly. Our waitress brings our drinks and asked were we ready to order. Told her we would need a few moments but asked do you still have grilled catfish. She responded yes. She comes back for our order, I order grilled catfish. The food took so long to come out, we finished our drinks and waited quite awhile for refills then waited a very long time after that for the food. Food comes out…Fried catfish. She took it back to fix the order. My dad gets his chicken fried steak and said it was awful, it was a frozen steak. My dad finished his food before I got my correct meal. I Also asked for biscuits, we also got cornbread. This might be on me because I didn’t say biscuits only. Then I asked for strawberry and grape jelly. She brings only strawberry. I think she has a listening problem. I have never had such a bad experience at Cracker Barrel. I think I would have been ok if the wait for food had not been so long. We were in there for at least one and a half hours after ordering.
Food always has a good flavor but clearly the management and the service have gone downhill. Anytime it takes 25 minutes to bring out eggs and bacon you know it's not going to be warm, and it was not. At the end of our meal they served hot bread and gravy. Two stars for hot biscuits & gravy.
My daughter picture ked up some chicken and dumplings on Saturday. The dumplings were excellent as always, but the chicken was so dry you could hardly chew it. I nearly choked on the chicken so I didn't anymore of the chicken. I just you might want to know.
To start the service was just bad. We asked for a drink refill and another waiter told us our server was in the restroom and it was 20- 25 minutes? Food was barely warm. To top it off they have installed new self checkout that no one was having much luck trying to figure it out so there was 3 people standing at each register waiting on one lady to help them. Just not a good experience that day.
We had a party of 6 plus an infant. We were seated very quickly at two tables put together to accommodate our party. We had two waitresses because apparently the tables were were seated at we're in two different waitress sections. One waitress said she was told by her manager she had to split the table with the other waitress and she had to wait for her to show up to take our order. There seemed to be a lot of confusion but one waitress finally took our entire order. Food service was very slow. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. The French toast I ordered did not look speaking and it had a piece of meat imbedded in the bread. This was the most mediocre experience we have ever had at a Cracker Barrell and the first time I would not recommend one.
Came in around 3:00...took forever to be seated and then waited forever to get my food. Was told they were out of biscuits and waiting for some to be done...when I got them, they were hard and cold, so know they didn't just come out of the oven. Asked the waitress for a refill on tea...never got it. Sat and ate my ice while I waited for my ticket. The manager did walk by and asked if I would like some tea, but by then I was finished and ready to go. I was there for an hour!
Bring back my old menus. Get rid of the trash new logo in all respects. Bring back the carrots. They changed the carrot recipe and went from "best in class" to "best in the trash" carrots. Judging from the fact that mine was 1 of 3 tables when just a few months ago you would have been packed... it would appear I'm not alone in my sentiments. Just utterly disappointed.

Sorry to say. Cross country trip and we ordered to go. They gave us forks but the grits were so watery we could not eat them, the food was cold there was lettuce specks under my pancakes. We travel to South almost every year and Cracker Barrel is a must stop for us. Hence our disappointment as it is always..ok 95% delicious and if not a manger makes it right on the spot. On the road we had to just toss most if it out.
I’ll start by saying the staff was friendly and the waitress was ok but definitely seemed spread thin. Other than that she was very nice. The food….. my god. AWFUL at best. Across the board. We had a party of 8. 4 adults, 4 children ages 8-11. Never once, in my life, have I ever eaten at a place where not one. Single. Person. Was happy with their food. I mean, the odds were IN their favor. They had a 1/8 shot of getting SOMETHING right. They fell short of satisfactory in any sense of the word. My wife and I both had the old timers breakfast with sausage, bacon and the loaded hash brown casserole. The “loaded” casserole was a joke. It was the regular casserole topped with what seemed like Walmart brand bacon crumbles and a half heated rubbery piece of cheese. Not even closed to being melted. I ordered my eggs scrambled with cheese and onions. There was cold cheese in the middle of them and BURNT (BLACK) onions. The biscuits that came with it were hard as a rock as well. The bacon was the only really edible thing they sent out. I don’t have time to list out the issues with every plate but the above extended across the table. Save your money. Don’t eat here. Go to IHOP across the street or Waffle House. At least you know at either of those you’re likely to be somewhat disappointed by something. Cracker Barrel has fallen way off. Sad day.
We've been coming to this location for years and over the last year and a half it has slowly declined. This Sunday (9/15/24) we were there it took us over an hour to get our food after we ordered -the waitress literally disappeared Into thin air and we never saw her again until she brought our food and then disappeared again until our bill was ready. I can never get more than one cup of coffee. They never bring the extras that are included and now they made us order something different than what we normally get because the waitress didn't want to upgrade a side on a entree when it's clearly stated that you can upgrade it but we were charged as a complete separate side. Normally my bill is about 40 bucks for me and my husband this time it was almost 60. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other or the waitress. Not to mention, our food wasn't good, bacon black, order partly wrong (after all), left disappointed with heartburn. I've actually tried to contact corporate about all this. I used to work for Cracker Barrel, once upon a time, and I am very very disappointed in what THIS location has become. (Yes I am well aware that Sundays are complete chaos, we always go on Sunday. They weren't as busy as other Sundays we have gone before)
I ordered some dinner from cracker barrel and had it Dashed. The food i got was absolutely horrible!! I had to throw the whole thing away. The meat tasted rotten, the eggs were not cooked to my specification, and the pancakes were awful! I called cracker barrel and spoke to a manager about the food I received. She told me I had to contact Dash....which I did and they refunded me $10.00!!!!! I told the manager that it was thier food that was horrible but basically told me there was nothing they can do. The little I did eat of the food has now made me nauseous!!! What the hell Cracker Barrel?!? You def have the grossest food!!! What a BIG dissapointment!!!!!
Riley was our waitress. She gave us our drinks and we order. I ask about the menu and she lied to me about the menu. It was supposed be 2 for 8.69. She those was extra when I checked out. So instead spending 8.69 it cost me $16.08. That makes a big difference. She never come to our table and ask for refill drinks till we got our food. Then we had to ask for it. Which a waitress or waiter should fill your drinks. Then it took her forever give our ticket. Went to the cashier and asked him about it and he said no you are paying for what u got. I told him even what Riley said when I order. He said I will take your tea off your bill. Still didn’t make the difference in the bill I ask to talk to the manager. He said he’s to busy talk to u. I should waited to talk to him before I payed the bill. Also they weren’t that busy. My husband work in restaurants and he knows busy. I see they are losing business. Should train their waitress and waiters how serve their people
UPDATE: Its a shame the company responds with an insult to my review and overall complaint. As a company who claims to make the customer happy and offer a positive environment and experience, they failed in delivering such claims. Very sad. I took my mom here today. For starters, the hostess who sat us was very friendly. The waitress, not so much. She rushed us to order, and neither one of us were ready but we just chose something and hoped for the best. The restaurant was freezing cold. However, we expect at least a little more than warm meal. It was cold. The eggs, cooked over medium as ordered, were barely room temperature. The biscuits were flat and hard, and also cold. The gravy, also cold, had a weird taste to it. The hashbrown casserole, also cold. The problem is that all the food was cold and subpar. The waitress (Kayle B is on the ticket as server) brought our food out and never came back until she gave us the ticket. My mom needed a HOT coffee refill, and I needed a lemonade refill. We never got it! When she asked if everything was OK, she asked as she walked away to go check on another table as she put the ticket down. I've never had a problem before with any Cracker Barrel, so I'm not sure what happened today. The old, cold, subpar food was disappointing. The service, should have been much better. Our meals should have been replaced for fresh HOT food. It's a shame I have to leave a bad review, just want others to know to be aware of what they may experience. Do better Cracker Barrel!!
We had not been to a Cracker Barrel in two years. After this visit, it will be that long again. Our waitress came 3 times. Once to take our order, once to bring the food, and once to bring the ticket. I had blueberry pancakes & one was not fully cooked. I was asked if I wanted blueberry syrup, which I said yes, but wasn’t told there was an additional charge for that. . Our other order was scrambled eggs, which was more like an omelet , had no taste and was room temperature. The hashbrown casserole was good, but not hot. The biscuits were the best part of that order. We were just very disappointed.
Worst Cracker Barrel we have ever been to. Services was very slow (granted she was the only one waiting tables), out of three different sides (greens, green beans, baked potatoes), food was not good overall.
My daughter and I had breakfast here together on a Saturday morning. We were sat at a table right away. Then it took over 20 minutes to get a drink order and our food ordered. The food was ok. Sausage patties were so Smokey they were not edible. Everything else was just ok. Latte was great. Service terrible. The girl kept forgetting we were there! This location seems to keep disappointing us so I don’t think we will be back.
I have never left a bad review anywhere but this is an exception. I called to make a to go order and was transferred two times in a row to the wrong department. Then, when I came to pick up my order my drink was incorrect. But the REAL issue was when I was eating my food. The biscuits that came with order had wet, raw dough on the inside. The service quality has been slipping for some time and I do not plan to return.
It's Thanksgiving, long wait time. Signed up online and was 1:50 hr. wait. 2 1/2 hrs later still waiting. Asked what the reason for the wait was, they said they called us 3 times. Funny that we didn't hear it, since we were stand 30 feet away from the hostess station. The hostess Jasmin, could not even find our reservation after she had checked us in an hour prior. They then told us it would be 15 more minutes after we proved them wrong. During that time they seated 3 other parties with the same amount of people. Once seated, service was less than par. I went for the chicken fried turkey, available 11/12/18-11/25/18 as seen in the attached picture. Ironically, they were not participating in the special on Thanksgiving. Even though the advertisement on the table said they were. I don't think I will be going back. I rather starve under a bridge in a cardboard box than eat here again.
I put our name on the app. The girl by the door shouldn't be there she has no clue. She said 5 minutes which turned into 15 i had to go ask her if they were gonna call our name she said they had i explained to her they hadn't. Then we got sat i ordered a mimosa oh were out. I asked for plain extra crispy hashbrowns and got hash whites. Watching the management hold up the walls the lady with the tattoos. We almost left. The whole experience wasn't good
We ordered our food, had 3 orders, brought 2 complete orders out, and the server told me we ran out of fried chicken. If you still want it, it will take at least 15 more minutes to cook. I went to a manager and asked why my order wasn't prepared with the other orders. He said he wasn't sure why. Told me again that if I still wanted it, fried chicken takes 15 minutes to cook. Then the waitress asked me if she needed to remove the meal from my ticket. I am very disappointed. I guess the cooks don't pay attention to the complete order
We had ordered 3 meals to be delivered by Uber today. We paid over $80 and was so disappointed. The hashbrowns we burnt & tasted horrible and small portions, eggs had no flavor and the old timer meal was small portion and disappointing. My sons meal was pretty good he said. But I don't ever want to order from them again after this disappointment.
Our family of 12 has been traveling and going to Cracker Barrels all over the Southern States. I cannot express my disappointment enough on the direction that Cracker Barrel has gone. I was terribly disappointed when they started selling alcohol but just accepted the realty of the times. From my perspective the service and focus on families has plummeted. Our family loves Cracker barrel so we hope there is some real changes so we can return with our buisness.
05/04/25 Ordered over the phone. The person taking my order was an operator from somewhere besides Texas and she had a really strong accent. Not to mention, she didn't listen well and interrupted me. The order was short only the extra cobbler she, the foreign operator pushed. The 5.79 cobbler... was missing. Let me tell you about the main course meat selection. Chicken fried steak is what I had ordered. It was simply a giant chicken nugget with gravy. Compressed chicken. Not the typical beaten and fried chicken....Compressed chicken. 25 bucks for this meal. I'm never going back to Cracker Barrel and neither should you.
This was one of the worst experiences I have had with ordering online to pickup. I ordered at 2 PM and got my confirmation email that it would be ready to pick up at 2:35 PM. I arrived at 2:35 expecting to pay for my food and walk out the door. I paid for it and they called back that I was there to pick up. For 15 minutes I stood around waiting for my food, with everyone just standing around. At 2:50 they finally brought my food out. 5 minutes later I was back at work ready to eat and again was disappointed. The fried okra wasn't even fully done and was sitting in a puddle of grease. The gravy was a solid gelatinous blob and was lukewarm. The dumplings weren't even fully cooked. It was disappointing because I love eating at Cracker Barrel. But I will not order to pickup after this again.
