Finally found the perfect spot! We have lived in this area about four years now, and really struggle to find a place that fits our vibe. This place is clean, has an incredibly large selection, and the craft cocktails and pricing are impressive. Alicia, our bartender, exceeded our expectations. Will be back!

always a good time at preamble, the staff is amazing. the vibes are always high, drinks are on point. definitely a hidden gem with djs playing every weekend, it’s giving downtown vibes but in webster. definitely saving me a 45 drive! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Loved our experience at this cool bar! We just happened to check it out on a Monday which is their “happy hour all day” and we definitely enjoyed it. Joseph took extremely wonderful care of our family and served us some delicious craft cocktails. The mood of the bar was super relaxing and decorated for Halloween which made it even cooler. The music was a mix of all genres which was perfect for we kids of the 1980’s and 1990’s. If we lived in this area full time, it would be “our favorite hang out”. Thanks Joseph and Preamble for such an outstanding evening! A plus all the way!

We are traveling through town and happened to come across this place. In their defense it was a Tuesday night so only a handful of people there. Kaly took awesome care of us. As you can see by the pictures she made amazing whiskey sour and Old Fashion. They do not have food so do not come hungry.

Awesome drinks (The Garden and Old Fashioned). Awesome food (flat breads and cheese boards). Improved customer service and new floor wait staff! Clean and revamped with new ownership who clearly is putting the time and efforts needed to make this establishment its best. It’s about time the Webster area has an upscale lounge for the more sophisticated crowd! I’ll be a regular for sure.

Stopped in here to grab a drink and found out the HH is all day on Mondays, the day I visited. The normal drink prices are not bad for the area, and the HH prices are fantastic. I ordered a spicy cucumber martini to start and it was unusual, but delicious. The drink and the ambiance were so nice that I called my girl and asked her to join me. We ended up staying for several hours, ordering some Old Fashioneds and some snacks. The Old Fashioneds were very well executed and delicious and only $6/ea! The pretzel sticks were much better than expected, and the stuffed roasted mushrooms were also quite good. The bartender was obviously skilled, but also very friendly. I'm a new fan of this place and will be back soon.

Good place, had a DJ in the evening when I was there Friday night. We had two separate cocktails and both were a bit rough for me and my wife but we were experimenting a little bit. Like the atmosphere of the place the most.

I’m not sure about this place yet and may need to give it another try. We went here during the week so maybe the weekend is better. The cocktails were great! Sat at the bar and bartender was very nice. The only food available was from the grill outside. There are no small, bar type food choices available. The vibe is somewhat boring and odd.

Very disappointed at how the young bartender allowed her inebriated boyfriend to harrass my husband while we were minding our own business, then we were asked to leave because of the negative interaction her drunk young friend initiated. Been frequenting Preamble for many years, but lastnight made me realize this establishment has been overtaken by unexperienced people who have no regard for others. - AJ

Stopped in on Saturday around 5 for a drink for the Houston Energy football game and we were very disappointed. There were 5 or so other people in the bar at this time. The place is in an unassuming strip mall but the interior is nice and spacious. Some of the furniture is run down but overall we felt comfy in the space. The ac wasnt working so there was no food and it was a little hot inside but we understand that these thing happen. They offered a 15% discount for the inconvenience. We ordered a dirty martini and a spicy cucumber martini which were both the worst drinks we've ever had. Also while the bartender was very nice it took a very long time to get our drinks.
