Staff were so lovely here. They knew we’d had a horrible holiday and brought us a desert platter and two shots. Food was great to share, also easy to share with little ones. Good portion sizes, best croquettes I’ve had in the area.

We were on the beach club rented a cabana, somewhat expensive but was worth it. We had good service and away from the crowds. Would recommend it for a nice day on the beach.

Santiago was amazing! We came to breakfast 3 times during our stay and Santiago’s service to us on the last day was incredible. He was quick, kind and even gave my husband and I a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon with a heartfelt handwritten card. I would return every day if I could. We were also attended to by other staff members like a Middle Aged tan gentleman who was also very kind and incredibly professional. The food was plentiful and delicious. Simply amazing.

I had the most amazing experiece on this Restaurant in Barcelona, the food is amazing and the service is even better, the way the staff treat you it makes me feel sooo good the are amazing on the way they treat you , i am sooo impressed, i wish we have service like that in the U S, the caring and thoughtfull impressed me so much to all for treating us the way they did Kudos!!!

Our family loved this restaurant so much. The food was great but our server was just incredible. David treated us so well and gave us great recommendations, we loved his service so much we came back just to see him. The restaurant is accommodating for gluten free, including gluten free bread. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants.

Bread and salt presentation is amazing. Sorry to say stick with all the small stuff. The steak was more skirt steak and if you want a rib eye or anything like a US Steak its not what you will get. But good vibe.

Dining at Salt Restaurant is a delightful experience, especially when seated outside in their lovely setting. The ambiance is enhanced by their refreshing sangria, which is a must-try. The staff are friendly, and the service is commendably good. I would definitely recommend Salt Restaurant for a pleasant and enjoyable meal.

We had a great lunch here, and will definitely return! My wife and I had a couple really fun and tasty cocktails to start - a fresh fiero and a sweet moment which were creative and delicious. Then we had three great dishes. We started with the pan con tomate which comes deconstructed so you get to build it yourself, kinda cool. Next we had the calamari in romesco sauce, the serving was huge and the calimaris were perfectly cooked and delicious in just a light batter. We also enjoyed the omelette traditional. We've had a lot of these and this one was delicious! I read some reviews about small portion sizes, our servings were very generous and everything tasted great. Go!

Was wandering the hectic Barcelona streets looking for an the perfect apertivo spot, and I finally found it here. I was fresh off a night out and then a 45 min wait in the Bo de B line, so needed to just get off my legs and post up for a bit. I was aimlessly wandering toward the W and found this cozy little cabana-esque spot that wasn’t crowded, so I decided this was it. What a building that W is by the way. I need to look up the architect of that. He’s doing his thang. Sitting here, you are right on the beach protect from the sun rays with beautiful white umbrellas as the W looks down over you, with an option to sit in these lounge chairs where your feet are in the sand. Luxury. Definitely more expensive than most other spots around, but I was willing to pay extra for the vibes. 4 stars because the price and the spritz was kinda mid tbh.

Nice meal at the Salt Beach Club attached to the W Hotel in Barcelona. Chicken nachos followed by a duck burger.

The chairs are not great—there’s only one umbrella for every two chairs, and the umbrellas don’t tilt. If you’re more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, they start double-selling your chairs and keep your prepayment. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I called to explain that I was stuck in traffic, but they refused to make any exceptions. Fortunately, we made it within the 15-minute grace period, but I would have been furious if they had double-sold our chairs and kept the money, as they indicated on the phone. The water was just okay, nothing spectacular. Access to the beach isn’t ideal—you have to cross a boardwalk and some rocky sand. The food was average, and the straws were too short for the cups.

After a rocky start (our table not being ready despite booking a month in advance). The food was actually really good, but I felt it was over priced for what it was. The manager was very attentive and courteous and the service did pick up somewhat, although we did see some unhappy faces with others seated in inappropriate areas for eating and no salt and pepper on the tables. Some wines and food were not available from the menu, which we only found out when trying to order. The staff and service needs to be revised especially given it's location and surrounding competition. Not a place I'd rush back to, to be perfectly honest! However, the beach bar across the promenade did fantastic cocktails with an amazing view of Barcelona at night, with some decent tunes in the background... this place definitely worth a visit.

Amazing location, decent food, but poor service. Took way too long for food to arrive, especially some takeaway for dessert. Overall it’s not too shabby, but the service could use some work. Nice place to relax, but don’t expect too much.

Could have had better service ... We sat on the tables on the beach. Though the burgers were not bad (delivered from the main restaurant), the cocktails were not worth it, and were served in plastic glasses, just like in the pool area of the W Barcelona. We did not give a second chance to this bar - Jefferson some 300-400 meters away on the beach was much better.

Great atmosphere and ok Italian food. The drinks were pretty good. Definitely go here for the amazing beach view.

The food is on the quite expensive side. And that's why I can't give a better rating. But the taste was good. The cooking was perfect and the attention from our server, Federico, was 11/10 🔝

Great experience from the restaurant, the staff is great and welcoming! Food is very good and ambiance also nice. Just 1 thing to complain about, the reservation policy. Those guys keep your table for 15mn and then charge you if you’re not showing up even if you call before the reservation to cancel or modify. You guys are a restaurant not an airline company, your policy is out of market standards. I managed to postpone my reservation after 15 mn of négociation. Flexibility = 0.

The service is a joke when you pay 250€ for 2 persons. The team are always talking to each other in groups about their lives. They were doing it once just behind our bed. They are not attentive and someone just went to the bed next to ours without being a guest and making us feel unsafe to leave our belongings. They realised 40 later and after we questioned security that this person was not a guest. This confirms that the team is not attentive. Food: croquetas and jamon good. The bread was not well toasted. Calamaris not crispy seemed more boiled than fried. The was incorrect. The impression we got was that as we had a minimum spend and we would not reach it, they just posted things from other people in our bill.

The restaurant and the beach club are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT experiences. The restaurant was wonderful and the food and service was great. The beach club…I kept trying to get someone’s attention but no one cared. We paid for two chairs in the SHADE! It was windy and the servers did not know how to handle the umbrellas and wind. It was ridiculous. The Beach club is not worth the money. The restaurant was wonderful.

The place is quite cozy and the views are truly beautiful, which is definitely appreciated. However, the service was rather poor, and I was surprised to be served an espresso martini in a whiskey glass. We also wanted to have dinner there, but the hostess told us everything was fully booked. That turned out to be untrue, we ended up dining at the restaurant next door, and when we finished around 10:30 PM, the place was still nearly empty, with only about three tables occupied. These are details that should definitely be improved to match the quality and charm of the setting.

Great Location, Poor Service Salt has an amazing beachfront setting, but the service was disappointing. Staff were inattentive and disorganized — we had to flag them down multiple times just to order or get basic things like water. A nice spot, but the experience didn’t match the setting.

We came here to eat with a Groupon voucher. Because of this I had the feeling they didn't threat me and my GF in same way of similar customers. We wanted to seat more near the sea view (restaurant was empty as per picture) and they didn't let us saying they are reserved (of course they were not). Waiters were no time next to us even when we were asking for a clean spoon. Food was good but overall experience was unhappy. I would not reccomend it only for the bad service.

Terrible menu for food. The view is wonderful but the food menu is horrible. You pay 250 euros for the day and really nothing is considered a nice lunch. This is the W for pity’s sake. It should be 5 star. Very disappointing. There was garbage on the ground around our cabana at 11 AM. I asked them to clean it and they never did all day!!!!! Terrible!!!! It says salt restaurant and beach club. But you don’t get to eat at the restaurant unless you pay extra. It’s very deceiving.

We had a lovely waitress, Saney or Sanad, lovely lady. We have been going here for years (9-10 years) to get hamburgers, now they don’t have them.

So, this place isn't cheap and was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. The min spend is 90 euros. We turned up and was told to store our suitcase under the bed !! They have lockers apparently. We stood for 20 mins waiting for towels whilst all the staff chatted by reception with their mates. I went down three times to remind them we needed towels. This was pretty much the theme of the day, ironically there were more staff members than guests?! The service was rubbish, they stated that "we will provide great service'. My friend has food allergies and this was not catered for even though previously they said it would be at time of booking. We ended up with a fruit salad that was cut with an onion riddled knife and stank! We did leave feedback and were offered no form of compensation! In summary, it could have been amazing if you bought your own food, towels and drinks or joined the gang at Reception as they were having a great time. Give this place a wide steer, not worth the money and clearly just cashing in on the fact it is one off holiday makers. Shame, it could have been amazing.

The cocktails are really bad. The cosmopolitan extremely acid and the pina colada kind of a milkshake. We didn’t eat but we don’t recommend this place as the barman does even not know how to prepare the most classical and easiest cocktails… very disappointed

Not worth it, no value of money. Nice and friendly staff BUT, the service was horrible, it took 1:30 hr to get us the poor quality and over priced food. We paid more than 200 euros for around 4-5 dishes( 2 salads- 1 pasta- 2 main course).

Very disappointing experience at Salt Beach Club. Despite the place being empty, the staff refused to seat us, claiming a group was coming — yet all tables were vacant. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Definitely not recommended.
