NEM RÁN CUA BỂ I honestly ordered it without knowing what's in the rolls and found out it's deep fried crab spring roll. It was salty, but eating with the plants made it better. Still great flavor. BẮP XÀO BƠ I did not know about this dish. It was my first time trying it, and it was super good. It's literally butter stir fried corn and just simplely good.

We’re from out of state and this is the best choice in a wide range of restaurants. Food is fantastic and serving time is in a eye blink! The nem cua be is a must try, super crunchy and tasty! The owner is very friendly and welcoming. She gave us the best service ever!

We went here for dinner while at the tết night market, the food was ok I ate bun riêu cau and my stomach wasn't happy at all, wife and kids plate of rice Bo lúc lắc and eggroll.

Ok place, parking right in front is crowded so it's best to park somewhere close and walk. Food is ok but is reasonably priced. I got the pork and egg roll rice noodles. The pork was unseasoned and dry and they don't give you much. Not a lot of veggies either. But the egg rolls are good! If I come back it'll be for the egg rolls which are made using a rice paper

The Bún Mắm Trà Vinh was very well balance between savory, sweetness, and full of umami flavors. It has all the right ingredients, although the fresh herbs accompaniment lacks some herbs. Friendly service staffs. The place is clean and bright with lots of seating space. Parking however, will be hard, especially during weekends and holidays. So plan accordingly. The menu offers other dishes as well and I will try them at another time.

My hu tieu special was not bad needs more flavor, the beef stir fry was really good with bread. I might come back and try other menu items.

Meh... not the best, not the worst... We had bún mắm, not enough topping, the bowl has 2 small piece of bbq pork, 2 shrimp, a very thin slice of cat fish, and half a mince pork stuffed jalapeño. Not enough vegetables either. I've had better Bun Mam at other nearby restaurants.

Food is great .. bún mắm was amazing .. bánh khọt crunchy and delicious.. very disappointed on a Sunday afternoon and they ran out of the bánh cua bễ.. it's like egg rolls but in square and real crab meat .. that's why I give this a 2 star

This place had new owner about a year ago, but kept the same menu with small increases in prices. Only 2 other parties for a Friday lunch, so it's not popular. We were sitting in front under the tent, where it was cool and one can smoke. Went for a Bun Rieu Oc, $15. The bowl was large, loaded with lots of proteins, shrimp, snail, blood curls, fried tofu, served with a small plate of morning glory and papaya flower. It's a good value. Proteins taste good, except the snails which were small and way to tough, inedible. Will not order snail in the soup in the future. The broth is tasty, typical of pork stock, but lacks the fragrance and deep, creamy taste of fresh crab in traditional bun rieu, which we can only find at Van Restaurant so far. The shrimp paste smells half fermented, very fishy, typical of Northern shrimp pastes, very disgusting I could not eat it and had to move it away. Other brands smell rotten but in a good way and are fully fermented, tasty. Will come back for other dishes but not Bun Rieu or Banh Canh.

Bad experience with this restaurant. We found a parking and this lady stopped in the middle of the row with no signal. We successfully parked our car and the owner came out with a stinky leer and told us to move. This is very unwelcome and disrespectful to their customers. If you want to be treated like an animal, you will find it at this SAIGON XUA restaurant.
