This place never fail, constigency is king here. Food taste and quality is always exactly the same, and they have yet to increase the menu price. Thank you, for being nice, and keeping the quality without raising the price for profit.

Nice family place. We usually eat family style. Their braised pork and egg (thịt kho trứng) and bitter melon are good - tastes just like mom used to make :)

Authentic homestyle Vietnamese food.. The Gỏi Mít was incredible, the nuoc mam they used on it wasn’t too salty and had perfect taste. I come here for the Canh Chua Cá every time and the broth is delicious. Very well priced and it’s a small quaint place. 🫶🏼

I ate family dinner with rice in Hien Thanh and it was great. This time I tried Bun Bo Hue (BBH) for lunch and it amazed me. It was really good! The soup looks good and tastes good. The special thing about BBH here is its ginger dipping fish sauce, tastes really good with beef tendon. I recommend you try BBH here.

All the food was tasty and presentation was nicely done. Prices were reasonable and portions were good. Only negative feedback was the dipping sauce for the spring rolls (gỏi cuốn) was not properly made... watery, not flavorful and missing crushed peanuts. Also, there were no condiments available on the table, such as sambal, sirachia, fish sauce, etc. But overall, a good experience and will come back to try the Cơm Phần selections 👍

We always get the meal for two even though there are three of us (me and my grandparents), but it’s perfect since my grandma doesn’t eat much. Our usual lineup: Rau muống xào tỏi (water spinach with garlic) — extra garlic always. Worth the upcharge. Canh chua — classic, solid. Cá kho tộ (caramelized braised catfish) — this is why we come back. It’s done so well here, better than most other spots. Rich, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth kind of good. They also give you a side of white rice, of course. Service is quick, staff speaks both English and Vietnamese, and it seems like everyone in the restaurant is always ordering the same set. It’s just one of those comforting, homestyle Vietnamese spots — nothing fancy, but clean (no sticky floors!) and consistent. Bonus: It’s just a hop, skip, and a jump away from TK.

half the foods we ordered taste decent and one of their served spoon still have old food stuck onto it...gross. Even they have a Free Drink's sign right in front of their restaurant but they won't serve it to u unless u asked for it. They do need to hire more friendly servers.

The food is ok, not great! Typical Vietnamese style small shop service = none. (They try to take your order the minute they handed you the menu, without you even flipping the pages yet. They put your food in the table without saying a thing, and... that's it! )

My family try this restaurant from the recommendation of a friend. Restaurant is small. We had to wait for 15 minutes to get a table, which is a norm here in Little Saigon. Lol. We got the menu as soon as we were seated. As recommended by our friend, we ordered a chicken salad which was quite tasty, the shredded cabbage was mixed with shredded chicken and it served with shrimp chips. Next, the sour soup catfish, and caramelize braised catfish which are typicall family dinner food for people from the south of Vietnam. The blandness of sour soup was a disappointment. The soup tasted like vinegar mixed in water. The braised catfish was bit salty because it was so thin slice, it absorbed the saltiness of the fish sauce so fast. Another disappointment. Service was OK, but, we won't be back. There are some restaurants that taste much better than this place.

An automatic 20% tip tacked on for a party on any number. A tip should be based on service and food quality, not automatically charged on the check. Food already over priced for the quality. I'd give this restaurant "a should skip". Back 2 years later to give it another chance. Nothing has changed. No 3rd chance will be given.

This home style Asian food place is the best. Their pork stew and sour soup is what we get every single time. ----- Update: I've always liked the food here and the service was always okay. But this time, the short hair guy in his hoodies is extremely rude. He kept his hands in his pockets the whole time while we were ordering. I order togo. They gave me very bad experience. No chair for me to sat & waited. They asked me to move outside because they need more space to go back & forward to serve & cleanup. But the weather so cold, i couldn't . They're so mean!

Expensive. Expensive. Expensive for a meager portion and average taste. $18 for a steam veggie plate with caramelized pork fat... We decided to never come back here again...

“I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Just as we were finishing our meal, the waiter started clearing our table without asking if we were done. This felt rushed and intrusive. When we mentioned this to the owner, he rudely told us that if we wanted to chat, we should go somewhere else. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable in any dining establishment. The food was decent, but the poor service and rude management ruined the entire experience. I hope the management can work on improving their customer service skills.”

Food is nothing special, really bad service from waiters to the owner. We have not finished dinner yet and they tried to clean up the table. I talked to the owner and he said don’t come back here to eat!!! OMG! Horrible service and we will not never come back.

The foods portion were small. BEWARE of 20% tips added to the bill without let customer know. My husband ask for the hard copy of the bill, then we realized the tips was added to the bill. At first I didn't know the tips was already added 20% to the bill (originally the foods cost $126 with total of the bill included tip are $148). I gave her $150 and then another $20 bill said to her for tips, she didn't mention to me the tips was added to the bill. So total I gave her $170. I really got SCAMMED over 30% tips from this restaurant.

Watch out when you pay your credit card. The owner was an automated add-on 20% tips on the bill without asking me. It's not right!

Extremely crowded, had to put my name down and wait around for a seat. When get to seat down, we were squeezed in to a table that next to another table with no space. Extremely comfortable when the other table can hear everything we said and we can hear everything they say. Never again I would put myself in this kind of situation.There was no services because they were so busy and there was only one waiter.

The portions are small and the flavor is not there. 1st and last time I will come to this place. Thanh My is a much better Vietnamese restaurant than this place with portions , pricing, and flavor. And yes I am Vietnamese. The vegetable dish costs $17 and it looks like they gave me half portion. The shrimp meat dish was $15...also looking weak on the portions size.
