Hard Rock Cafe - Sacramento

It’s unfortunate that a lot of people are not paying attention to what they are reviewing and it’s giving this restaurant lower reviews. A lot of people are reviewing the casino in general or other areas which isn’t fair. I’ve always enjoyed myself at the hard rock Café. I’ve been here with family, friends, and on dates. If there isn’t a sports event playing on the large number of big screens, there are music videos with the good music playing. The wait staff is always great and there’s a lot of different things to choose from on the menu. I tend to order a lot from the appetizer menu and share with everybody at the table. I’ve also tried the Caesar salad with chicken which is great, the cowboy ribeye which was OK, and a steak salad also OK. Plus you can order cocktails. I’ve had the Bahama mama, Mojito, blue Hawaii, And some other drink that a waiter suggested and I wish I can’t remember the name of. You should expect during peak times to have a wait so be sure to go up to the counter and put your name on the waitlist. They’ll tell you how long and text you when your table is ready. Usually they’re pretty accurate on the wait time.

Been here a few times now... Definitely recommend going and checking in 30 minutes before you're ready to eat as there will definitely be a wait if it's the weekend, but they will text you when ready so you can go out and gamble. Got the surf & turf burger! Good flavor. Honestly easier to pull the shrimp off and eat separately, but the combined flavors pair well. Good fries and attentive wait staff

This place is beautiful all the memorabilia decorating the walls throughout the whole casino and hotel. In the bars restaurants ,ballroom and restrooms as well. The design and amenities of the rock shop,the hard Rock Cafe are stunning, the flow of the entire building is fabulous plenty of space in the parking isles walkways and restrooms location is greatly accessible. Elegant set up with the fancy ATM s built in visibly located as well as the kiosks. All table locations are precisely located for easy access and flow and plenty of room in the isles which provide wheelchair access as well. Fantastic design and layout I give to who created this place two thumbs up!

The food we ordered was very good and the service was as well. I wish I could remember the waitresses name because she was so nice and attentive. The Swiss mushroom burger was amazing. We also had the brownie sundae which was so good, I recommend sharing it with someone because it's huge.

Stopped by to grab a bite to eat after playing on the floor. Took a little bit before I was able to get a table, but once seated, everything flowed quickly. Ordered the Legendary Burger, medium, with their regular fries. It came out as ordered and everything tasted really good. Also tried their Brownie Sundae and was equally as good. Shoutout to Brittney who provided excellent service during this visit.

I absolutely love the Hard Rock franchise. I've been to quite a few locations and always grab a pin. The food is always good and the service is even better. I come here any chance I get. The slots are good, and the card games are just as good.

Great location, delicious food and friendly staff. Located directly behind the casino, the cafe was not hard to find. Neither the smell of cigarettes nor the noisy gambling machines disturbed in the restaurant. The kitchen was open to look inside, which is also a plus for transparency. The staff was really nice and tried to help, also cared about the customer by some small talk. The food was fresh and tasty. The portion was way bigger than in LA and definitely worth the money. The local tap beer was also good, the selection was larger than in the most cafes around here. The atmosphere was way better than in San Fran. Music wasn’t too loud but this time without videos on the screens, it was a bit disappointing to watch a whole show on truTV and not see a music video. Overall a great experience, nothing to complain about, except the whole Hard Rock Cafe isn’t located in Sacramento city. The gas station next to the casino was also pretty cheap.

Great variety of machines to play! Wonderful payouts!! Lots and lots of JACKPOTS to win!! Pleasant environment to gamble in. Their Seafood plus BUFFET is so amazing!! You must go and see for yourself!! Fresh Fresh Fresh! Wow!!

The cafe at hard Rock casino. A good place to grab a bite to eat. Nothing fancy. Just a good diner. We had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the BBQ combo, with a rack of ribs, pulled pork, BBQ beans and coleslaw. The ribs were tender with fall off the bone meat. The BBQ sauce was smokey with sweet molasses and a bourbon taste. The baked beans were a combination of baked beans and BBQ beans with ham and also a little kick of hot spice. The coleslaw was nothing really special. The cheeseburger was also quite flavorful without the need of salt or pepper. The fries were crispy and delicious. Drinks were ice tea and strawberry lemonade. In all a good dinner 10/18/24... Another Friday night dinner. This time we ordered a smashed double mushroom burger with fries, chicken tenders with seasoned fries, and appetizer of bratwurst and sauerkraut egg rolls with a thousand island dipping sauce. I love mushroom burgers. This one was juicy with a nice double patty. The patty was juicy and moist. The seasoning was just right. The mushrooms were also nice size, sliced of course. The sauce on the mushrooms were a type of beef gravy. In all a great burger. The fries were crispy. The chicken tenders were nothing phenomenal, just chicken tenders, with "seasoned fries". Please don't ask me the difference. I could not tell. For dessert we had the Blondie cookie with ice cream and a brownie sundae. Both were great and the portions were huge. The Blondie was heated up. Delicious!

Was almost a horrible date with my wife. But thanks to the abundance of hospitality by Jasmine and our server, that date was rescued! She wouldn't leave until we were happy. And they were kind. I had an extra small burger and they removed it and replaced it. Even gave us a brownie Sunday ... Great great service ... Service is great when tested not just when regular service is appropriate. When people can troubleshoot and fix a problem keeping the customer not just happy but saving a date is very nice and appreciated. I couldn't wait to tell the world how happy I was with the service... I'm leaving this review before even leaving the table! Thanks

Hello, I ordered food to go from the Cafe. The service was great and fast. The lady that helped me was polite and helpful. I ordered the Messy Burger and BBQ Platter. The burger was $12.99 and the bbq platter was $31.99. The food was great! The food was ready in 20-25 mins as well. Overall great experience. I have recently gone to the cafe on 09/15/2023. I have ordered off their lunch menu special. Every item is $10!! There were 5/6 items on the menu. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but they have a Fried Shrimp Basket, Bria Sandwich, and Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice. I forgot the other items. The items do come with the main dish and fries. Great deal for $10!!

Have the room for a couple nights,Not as elegant or big compared to Red Hawk, Yet Tech wise they are beating them...Games were decent,Slots a bit tight but the payouts are Great..More Free Play than Any Casino in The Region...A few tweaks here and there and they Might catch up to The Red Hawk...

It's typical newer Indian casino in the Northern California region. It's easy to find off Forty road. Its a tall sky scrapper in the middle of bumbletown. It's flashy and has couple of vintage musical instruments. OH, they have a gas station that's really convenient and have reasonable gas prices. Also, supercharging stations too. They also have a opened seafood buffet there too. It's pricey but family suitable. We not much gamblers but the slots were plentiful and many.varities. Really quaint gift shop and we do recommend visiting.

The lobster 🦞 buffet is priced accordingly and the lobster is plentiful and good as well as the two types of crab 🦀.. As far as the server or table host however labeled we had to basically beg for drink refills 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻.. I feel the buffet over all was very slim on choices other than sea food and I know that it's a seafood buffet those 3 night but compared to boomtown the other offerings were almost non existent.. After that has been said my wife doesn't do seafood so we will probably not be back for another round due to limited non seafood items 😔... The casino itself as fast slots are to high of entry denomination for my budget I'll stick with feather falls as far as gambling chioces... Last of all its rediculus when you cash out it doesn't give you your change ... WHAT A MONEY SCAM can only imagine the extra revenue generated by that scam in a 12 month period...

The Hard Rock Cafe was super busy and they were short staffed. Even the managers were sitting customers and clearing tables. There is a large screen TV in the bar/cafe area, that plays music videos. It was entertaining to watch all the old school videos. The Western burger was cooked to perfection and hit the spot. All the employees were friendly and working hard. It was nice to be able to see in the kitchen, where all the food is made. Also, there is a stage in the cafe for live music. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Loud and busy as you would expect from a Hardrock Cafe. Enjoyed the videos the played just wish you could hear the music. Loved that you could NOT smell the smoke from the casino in the cafe! The burgers were really good. NO where near as large as the pictures like literally half the size. So if you can eat get a double. And maybe an appetizer. I was fine but my male friend did not feel full, so he left feeling a little unsatisfied. He had The Messy so he was expecting it to be filling. I hade the legend. Tast was on point, did NOT like that they serve the condiment in the bottle. Do not like touching bottles and then my food! Tropical Margarita was super sweet. Needed 2 more shots of just tequila.

We’ve been to Hard Rock Cafes all over the world and this was a very solid cafe experience with good food and great service. This is a very typical “casino” location where you don’t have much memorabilia and you have a large stage taking up a chunk of space. We had the margarita pizza and some loaded fries, both were great. It is loud since it is directly connected to the casino floor, but that is to be expected.

Food wasnt that bad we went here for all you can eat lobster and crab, it was ok, really busy come early first come first serve, overall experience was good besides the mice running around the slot machine, staff try to catch it but it went missing

Nice cafe, good service . We order 24 carat gold sandwich $25 , it’s the same taste like other resto. As general the foods are good but a liitle pricey

Caesar salad was the real winner here!! I had the pulled pork, which was good, but the downside was the side of coleslaw( noting special )and beans(dry).

Food was good. The server was good. The food came out pretty quickly. Even with more then half the place full.

This place can get busy,  but the restaurant itself is big, modern, and clean.  To the left, they had a sparkly bar with a huge option of liquor to choose from. Both times we went here, I was greeted and helped right away.  After that, it just goes downhill.  We ordered a brownie sundae that we waited more than 20 minutes for.  The brownie tasted like a single layer cake with frosting.  Sundae was alright. We went the next day for breakfast, and it wasn't super busy, we were hoping the food and service would be better.  To our dismay it was the same.  When you go back to check on your order.  It's a different person everytime and they don't know whats going on. For breakfast we ordered: 1.  Loco moco - Patty was thick and cooked the way I ordered.   Rice and gravy was perfect.   The meal itself was tasty. 2.  French toast - Soggy not cooked.  Syrup was watery.  Inedible. 3.  Side of pork sausage - Sausages were fat but not cooked and didn't even have a snap when you buy it.   Sausage was stone cold. I'm very disappointed with the service and food.  I expected a lot more and they just let me down.

“There’s always room for improvements” Food is ok. Freshly made by order. Not a lot of options to choose. Spend $100 on food and get a 50% OFF at the gift shop. You can still breath the second hand smoke while eating BUT it’s worse if you choose to eat at YOUYU😖. The air ventilation is not good.

I came here for the first time to try the buffet and the seafood was not good at all. The lobster and crab meat was extra salty! 😩 I even had a headache after because of the sodium. $60 person could've gotten you fresh seafood elsewhere.

It's a casino! What would you expect? Same clientele shop at Walmart and get put on YouTube. Ample parking. It's the kind of place you go when you're half drunk and you really want to make a donation to your local totally fictitious Native American tribal unit. Hard Rock Casino Sacramento at fire mountain. Total b*******. There is no mountain. It's not on fire. Sacramento is 30 plus miles to the South. Who are the ad Wizards who came up with this one? Nice place to go if you want to watch Total degenerates indulge of themselves. Definitely wear a mask and I'm not talking for Coronavirus.

Messi chicken sandwich as advertised vs what was served. It was ok tasting (I wouldn't get it again though) but talk about being ripped off. Fries were stale. Also, we sat down to an empty room then watch 4 other tables get sat, served, and ate before we got 2 burgers and this chicken sandwich. Overall I was disappointed in the Cafe. Casino is big though and clean, staff was nice and who knows why we got our food so late, but no rude encounters at least and we took it in stride. Alcohol prices surprisingly not overboard.

Food was alright. $60 per person is only worth it if you're going for unlimited lobster and snow crab legs. Do not bring anyone who does not eat the essential items available in the menu, because you'll be paying $60 for them to eat a salad bar and limited buffet options. The buffet has 2-3 items of American food and Chinese items like pork wonton and bakchoy. They have a limited salad bar, like no more than 6 items The ayce lobsters aren't the best. You can tell the lobsters are not fresh and have been frozen for a while since the gut colored the lobsters tails ( dark green to blue). No photo since I didn't want to keep any more memories of the bad experience I had. The workers and servers were amazing for sure.

Their cash out machine did not cash my ticket nor did it give my ticket back.I had to wait hours land hours for them to do what they gotta do to make sure I was owed the money and though it took longer than i wanted they at least eventually got it figured out and paid me my money.

I always go to the Harvest Restaurant for the all you can eat lobster and crab buffet. The service is going downhill had to ask the waiter a couple different times for a drink as he would forget. The lobster is going downhill. The first two were mush. They are very small lobster now as compared to what they were a year ago. In the casino area the cocktail waitresses are nonexistent. They spend too much time in the back service area which is located close to the east side entrance by the restrooms. That seems to be where they congregate maybe it's because the bartenders back there are so slow to fill the orders

I lost. Would like to see more winners while I'm at hard rock. It's hard to get a drink. It's nice looking and the food is good especially at the hard rock cafe.

Ordered the $28 Cesar salad with salmon. The portion was so ridiculous I could see the bottom of my bowl. The dressing was nothing special and the salmon was Atlantic farm raised crap. I was asked how it was and I said is was a joke. They refunded my money and that’s why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I wasn’t wanting a free meal, I was hungry! The staff was closed ears to my complaint, I guess they just serve way overpriced crap and see what’s sticks. Sad!!!

Ordered the wings at the Sacramento Hard Rock cafe at the Hard Rock Fire Mountain Casino today, I must say the service was pretty good. Actually they were super super nice, helpful and totally laid back. They were very understanding of my situation of my Togo order and they are the reason I am giving it only two stars instead of one. Reason for that is I can’t help to feel so ripped off. I paid $16.99 for an order of the fried wing appetizer. Little did I know they only came in a count of 8 and it was just overall disappointing. Thought I’d at least get 10 for spending that price. Maybe it’s the fact everything is going up? You would think out of all places Hard Rock would cut some slack especially sense we are also gambling with our money (not getting much in return if anything at all) and than get taken in the restaurant. Pretty sad and seems awful greedy to me. One way to resolve this matter. JUST SAY NO CASINO lol. Clearly not worth it.

I'm sorry. The Mesi chicken sandwich doesn't look or taste anything like the picture looked on the menu. I would not be proud at all to put my name on that. That picture on the menu looked so good and what came out was so meh. It was two super small pieces of chicken. I'm not even sure I could call them tenders. Half the sandwich had no meat. It's very misleading.... I was not happy. The frys were good. I will never eat there again. This was pointed out in a review here 2 years ago. So it really does not seem like they care because it's exactly the same 2 years later... Sorry I so mad I did not take a picture but it was worse than the picture 2 years ago in the reviews..

The food here is not good They served us super old onion rings that I'm pretty sure were cooked a different day. I thought it was just those, but the shoestring onions on the sandwich I had were also super stale. It felt like chewing on a dog toy. The pulled pork was prepared in a microwave....Save your money and just go anywhere else, this wasn't worth the cost at all 🤦🏽‍♂️ Two stars because the service was prompt

Overpriced mediocre buffet, but if that's your jam, it really is all you can eat lobster and snow crab served with movie popcorn butter. You also get to leave smelling like a cigarette, so don't wear a nice coat unless you want to wash it.

Nice atmosphere and lively ambiance. Mediocre food, tasted like frozen food reheated. The pulled pork sandwich: pork was cold and lacked seasoning. The pepperoni flatbread: looked and tasted like a frozen flatbread from a grocery store. Super greasy and basic. Come on, Hard Rock. Rushed and inattentive service. That being said, they do have a nicer, fine-dining option here (steak & seafood restaurant) for the high rollers. VERY expensive. I just expected the food and service at their flagship cafe to be at LEAST on par with the food at your typical corporate chain restaurant (e.g. Lazy Dog, etc). The hotel and live music venue were fantastic, though. The cafe has some catching up to do.

Ordered to go and they gave me the most nasty stale cold fries that could ever exist on planet earth. When you receive bad food it ruins your whole mood. I wish that they would really stop serving stale cold fries they do this so often. I try to give this place a try many times but they always fail me. The food is over price and service is awful

We had a great time gambling and debated on getting the free room comp. However, it was unavailable on weekends. The food was not the best, Safeway has one up on the Chinese food. And we were harassed by security 3 times for eating in the car. I did pass out once due to driving for long hours.

I've made my last trip to Hardrock. Machines are so tight. Atmosphere is not as good as it once was

Review: Extremely Confusing Policies & Poor Service My family of four went for a Friday night dinner—my husband, our 21-year-old son, our 18-year-old daughter, and myself. While waiting for our table, we went to the bar to order drinks. My daughter stood off to the side by the wall, not drinking, just waiting for us. After we paid, the bartender came over and told us we couldn’t drink at the bar because our daughter wasn’t 21 and said she had to take our drinks. I asked why, and said that if she couldn’t stand there, she could simply leave the area. The bartender said no, that we had to go with her. This made no sense—she’s an adult, and she said she would go to the gift shop. Still the bartender insisted we all had to leave with her. We were completely confused. Finally the bartender said we could finish our drinks, even though my daughter had already left. I mentioned there were no signs posted saying the Top restaurant / bar area was 21+, and she replied, “Well, it is.” We are rule-followers, but this felt inconsistent and poorly communicated. Minutes later, our table was ready—and they brought us right back into the bar area to seat us for dinner. I actually laughed and said, “Oh, NOW we can come up here?” My husband commented, “I guess it’s okay now?” I assumed well eating up there is okay, just not standing off to the side. We ordered about $200 worth of food, including steaks. Halfway through dinner, the same bartender came over and told us we couldn’t be eating there because someone was under 21. We were shocked. Their own team seated us there without asking if anyone was underage. We were just trying to have dinner. I spoke to the manager, who didn’t seem to care at all. To make things worse, the filet mignon was fatty, the food wasn’t good, and the service was poor. Being told to leave in the middle of our meal made no sense. The bartender kept saying “I’m sorry, it’s not my policy,” but that didn’t change the fact that the situation was handled terribly. If there are age restrictions, post a sign. And more importantly, don’t seat people where they aren’t allowed to sit. This experience was stressful, embarrassing, and completely avoidable. Never again.
