Finally getting here! Delicious! While most people want to sit upstairs, we preferred to sit downstairs where we could see all of the activity at Byrne Plaza. We shared the Caprese. It was generous for three people. I couldn’t wait to order the gnocchi Gorgonzola, which was heavenly. I don’t recommend sharing this because you will want it all for yourself, and have some to take home. Great atmosphere! Put this on your must visit list.
Fantastic dinner, attentive service, food was delicious with great portions. Great bartender and second floor seating was exceptional. A+++ I can’t wait to return.
Beautiful restaurant! Excellent food & service. Only disappointed our meal didn't include a salad. Amazing place for fresh Italian cuisine 🇮🇹
Food was excellent, service just as great! Had the calamari, seafood bisque, shrimp risotto and fettuccine Alfredo and everything was 10/10 would definitely come back and recommend!
The place is great! The foods soooooo delicious!! We love this place. Everyone there is very attentive and polite. A place that never regrets! 5 is not enough, it definitely deserves 10 stars.
Wonderful place. Food and service was impeccable and the decor was amazing wish I could give it more than five stars. A new place in town that compares to the high price restaurants in quality and ambiance of Cape May and Atlantic City.
This new restaurant is really so pretty, and the food was delicious! Caprese salad with prosciutto and roasted peppers was a delight! Chicken parm was beautifully thin and tasted great, gnocchi is homemade and omg too yummy! The only negatives are the bread could be better, it's just mediocre at best, and please add cavatelli to your menu, it's a favorite for us for sure! Other than that, staff is amazing and definitely leaves you wanting more! We will be back!
Sabbia D'oro Italiano is a true gem that consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. I've visited this restaurant multiple times, and each time, I am amazed by the quality of their dishes and the impeccable service. It's rare to find a place that maintains such high standards across the board. The attention to detail, the warm atmosphere, and the consistently outstanding food and service make Sabbia D'oro Italiano a standout choice for any occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience.
What a treat to find Sabba Doro Italiano! It is a brand new, refined, delicious dining experience! I had the chicken parm, and my friend had the fettuccini with chicken. Both entrees were home made. We also had shrimp cocktail to start. We enjoyed dessert- I don’t remember the name of it, but it was lemony, amaretto- tasting, custard pie- it was SO good. Thank you, Kevin, and see you soon!
This place features fine italian dining with food and drinks. They are know for excellent food and have a location in cape may new jersey. This is a huge spot to hang out and have some drinks. There is a second floor which will have space to have a social area or bar to drink it. The outside looks cool and plenty of parking nearby!
Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure my grandson could get his linguini with clams. We will definitely be back. And the bolognese sauce?? amazing!!!!
Went there to celebrate my birthday. Staff did everything to accommodate my requests. I had such a nice dinner there. Branzino was delicious! In the end of the night they surprised me with candle on my dessert!
What a great find, unreal this is one block from the boardwalk and you feel like you are in a posh NYC restaurant. Food and service were impeccable, Bolognese was delicious, caparese salad also. My wife had lobster ravioli with scallops, shrimp and crabmeat and loved it as well. We will be back again.
The Bolognese was delicious and the Caesar salad dressing was sooo good! Olga provided friendly service and the dining room has such a cozy and warm atmosphere. Portions are big!
Food is delicious and plentiful! Nice people, great service and very accommodating! We’ve been twice and it just opened, love it.
Excellent Italian food with excellent service. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and scenery was brilliant.
Excellent place to go for dinner. They take reservations which is rare. The food is so good. I had the octopus and gnocchi in marinara sauce. I am so fussy about "gravy" out, but this was delicious. And the gnocchi were like little pillows. So light. Very pleased with this restaurant. Just sorry I forgot to ask what kind of olive oil they had because it was so good I could have drank from the bottle. And the bread was so good too. Great service also.
Absolutely come here!! The best Italian food in the Wildwoods, if not in South Jersey. Service is phenomenal, don’t listen to any of the other reviews! Our waiter, Kevin, was incredibly attentive, especially to one of my family’s allergies. The food is fantastic, especially the seafood pasta special. The dessert profiteroles are to die for, I could eat plates and plates of them. They’ve only been open a month but you could never tell. Thankfully, they are open year round because we will definitely be coming back. The cocktails are excellent and they have great, reasonably priced wines, along with incredible classic Italian food.
We came to this place to celebrate my niece's birthday and we had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was very professional. Our server Clyde ( sorry if I misspelled the name) was very attentive and polite and the drinks and food were excellent! No wonder the place was packed when we got there, I totally get it. If you are in Wildwood you have to try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. 5 stars across the board ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This restaurant is truly exceptional. The food is exquisite, and the service is second to none. Alex, our waiter, demonstrated the utmost professionalism and courtesy—I have never experienced such attentive service in any restaurant before. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience.
Just discovered this new Italian spot that opened this summer and wow! Everything is made fresh on-site and you can really taste the difference. Had the Veal Saltimbocca (chef made it special since it wasn't on the menu) which was delicious, as was the Capellini with crab. The Mozzarella Caprese was fresh and tasty. Service was fantastic too - our server was on point and the chef was super accommodating making the veal dish off-menu. Wildwood finally has a legit Italian restaurant. Definitely going back!
I stopped in Saturday to see how the place had changed from it's prior set up and I was not disappointed. Although I did not eat, I was extremely impressed with the decor and the ambiance and the background music. It was a very welcoming experience and when I had a cocktail at the bar, I was blown away. Drew is making very innovative drinks that are worth the stop on it's own. He gave me a hint of what might be coming and it is very exciting. Do not skip this place bc Pacific Ave in Wildwood is not on your radar. This is an absolute stop with a huge upside coming.
Amazing food & service!! I have dined here sereval times & each meal was excellent. The veal is so tender you can cut it with a fork. They also have delicious desserts!!
Check out this new Italian restaurant in Wildwood, I am so glad I did. The food was incredibly fresh, and you can tell there’s real care behind each dish. Presentation was also top-notch—beautifully plated and full of flavor. A great spot for anyone who appreciates quality Italian cuisine. Looking forward to coming back!
Absolutely wonderful dinner we will be back The Caesar salad was so crisp The 2nd course was 3 different pasta with 3 different sauces our favorite was the ravoli so tender Service was excellent It was our 1st time and we happened to get the restaurant week menu so much food the dessert of Tiramisu was homemade and melted in your mouth Congratulations to the staff and the chef dishes were amazing
Had an amazing Restaurant Week dinner at Sabbia D’oro in Wildwood! Drew at the bar and Clyde at our table were both incredible. The Caesar, gnocchi, ravioli, Chicken Parm, Veal alla Sabbia D’oro, tiramisu and cannoli were all outstanding — we’ll definitely be back!
Exceptional Italian food in Wildwood NJ! We dined here this past Saturday night, the chicken parmigiana is outstanding! highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Kudos to Sabbia D'oro and team!
Everything was so fresh, from the salad to dinner. Our food was hot until the last bite! Service was very good, no complaints about the waiter at all, however, one more waiter for upstairs, even a drink only waiter would make things run more smoothly and make the wait a little less longer. Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic dinner here on the 4th of July! The octopus and mussels appetizer was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, the rack of lamb and short ribs were both outstanding—rich, tender, and complemented perfectly by the broccoli rabe. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming, with a nice atmosphere that made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a great Italian meal.
I had the pleasure of being there for their grand opening, and everything was incredible! The food was excellent—absolutely delicious—and the entire staff made me feel so welcome. The atmosphere is beyond tranquil, creating the perfect setting for any occasion. With two floors and a great bar, this spot has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to spend an amazing night out in Wildwood, enjoy a romantic dinner with your partner, or have a relaxing evening with the family after a day on the beach, #SabbiaD’Oro is a must-visit!
This was my second time back this week and I have to say it was even better the second time. Service was terrific. Alex was our server and he was wonderful. The food was wonderful. All our meals were delicious. Warm and friendly atmosphere.
Sat at the bar and had amazing service, fabulous drinks, and the food is to die for. I dream of the gnocchi and I am not joking. They are fluffy potato pillows. They are the best gnocchi in the entire world (and I eat a lot of potato gnocchi!).
If you're looking for a delightful culinary experience, look no further than the newly opened Italian restaurant! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, this Bolognese and Pescatore Pasta is an absolute must-try. It's a delicious reminder of the beauty of simple, authentic flavors. I can't recommend it highly enough!
The food was delicious, the service was great, the decor was Italian Wedding, which was a little over the top. I strongly recommend switching the bread to authentic Italian, not brioche.
Absolutely delicious! Cozy atmosphere, amazing homemade gnocchi, and the tiramisu was to die for. Friendly staff and great wine — a perfect Italian dining experience. Highly recommend!
Lovely evening! This was my first time at Sabbia Doro. Staff members were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! They have full bar which I really, really liked. I will be coming back, everytime I'm in town!
Early dinner with hubby. 1st time and didn't disappoint. Food was amazing. Nice and hot. 2nd floor, amazing view. Server and staff were friendly and super nice. Def recommend.
Good food and good service. I was expecting more of an intimate setting. It was rather loud and had a sports bar atmosphere. But definitely try it the food is good.
A very solid performance on all fronts. I feel that the first floor could lose the tables nearest the door. Every time the door opened it was disruptive. Every conversation the host shared with a patron was also shared with those seated.
Not a BYOB. When you Google this restaurant it comes up as a BYOB. The restaurant needs to tell people that. It has only been open for 6 weeks. I am not sure if it was originally but now the bar is open. Food was delicious, pricey and service was slow.
Food is really good but, not anything to write home about. I found the Gnocchi Rosa sauce to be pretty bland. Chicken parm was really good. Service was great, very attentive. Food took awhile to come out. At one point we looked around and saw that no one have entrees but then the food came out. Prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere is great, simple. Loved the exposed brick on the 2nd level
Salmon under cooked at the thick section. Was not crowded, and food took way too long to get to our table. Prices are high because you do get a lot of food. Not sure if I will go back.
The food was good, but our waiter was obviously overworked. By the end of our meal, he was literally sweating. The main problem is that the kitchen is on the first floor and if your table is on the second floor, the staff has to go up about 30 steps to reach you. This doesn’t have anything to do with the customer, but when something is missing or forgotten, it takes the server a good amount of time to go back to the kitchen and return to your table. In addition, we asked for lemon peels in our espresso. The waiter told us it’s not available because in Albania they don’t serve lemon peels. I mentioned this to the manager on the way out and she told us she would address it with the server and that he was mistaken.
Time it took for our first drink to arrive - 1 hour Time it took for our food to arrive - 1.5 hours If you’re going to charge $27 for a plate of spaghetti, you need to be certain your entire staff is trained before opening the restaurant to the public. It was mass chaos. Giving two stars because ended up being good and the owner was apologetic.
Calamari overcooked and marinara dry Veal picatta was ok Something was wrong as my wife and I both got sick all night afterwards. Stay away if you don’t want your vacation ruined.
I was confused reading all of the positive reviews on Sabbia. Definitely not our experience. There on a Saturday night, the restaurant was not filled and the wait time for our entrees was over an hour- only for half of our meals to come out. Likewise, the table next to us received half of their entrees about fifteen minutes before the rest of their companions. Maybe they are still working out the kinks, but I’d still not recommend. The manager tried to explain to me that the reason for the wait is that they make everything from scratch. Their pasta is not freshly made, I’m not sure what else she was referring to. After all of the waiting, they completely forgot about a kid’s pasta with butter lol. Once we asked for it, it came to our table barely cooked- like the spaghetti was so hard you couldn’t even twirl with a fork if you wanted to. A complete joke. I’d have been more reluctant to leave this negative review had the staff apologized even once or took accountability. Instead we got an excuse as to why it was taking so long, as if this was our first time dining in a restaurant. Don’t waste your time or money. Amateur hour.
Only Italian restaurant I have ever been to that didn’t have a meatball on the menu. Waiter was professional and courteous unfortunately that is the only good thing I can say about it. Took an hour & twenty minutes to see entree’s. portions were sizable but bland. Bartender was doing her end of night cleaning with extremely pungent cleansers while restaurant was still full of customers eating.i honestly wish i had more then 2 thumbs so that i could give this place more then 2 thumbs down. Will not go back!!!!!!! Even if someone else pays.
The restaurant is packed full of tables, reminiscent of a sardine can. The staff is inattentive and aimlessly walking around, while tables are waiting upwards of 45 mins for food/drinks. Our waiter made and served our drinks, with something floating in them, as it was pointed, the waiter questioned it, as it floated on the top. Water was warm and had hair floating in it. While the thermostat read 77 degrees and had no protection from the sun’s heat/shine (windows had no tint or curtains). The clams and calamari were dirty and covered in sand, shrimp was too rubbery to chew, while the pasta dishes were under seasoned and tasteless. The prosciutto smelled off and seemed green in color, though they tried hiding the color with balsamic and tomato. Nothing in this restaurant tells me to come back and if I could give them a 0 star, I would. Other Italian restaurants that are worth it, won’t give you an experience like this.
All our seafood was overcooked, scallops were almost hard, mussels were complete mush. Ordered chicken tenders for my son (which was $16 which is insane), asked for ketchup, told they don't have any, weird, asked for Marinara instead, never got it until the manager /owner came over and asked how things were. Specials had no prices on the menu, turns out the one we got was $42! Portions were eh. Service was terrible. Overall super disappointed especially when we spent over $200 for 4 adults and a toddler with no alcohol.
I'm not one to complain about bad service, but in this case, I do so because I've never experienced a wait of more than an hour and a half for food, and it wasn't just for my table; in that time, I only saw one other table on the main floor being served. Furthermore, after asking for the bill for a glass of wine they served me during that time, they immediately came with the food, and my wife's risotto wasn't fully cooked.
