I like the atmosphere here. It has quiet, intimate feel to it. The seats are pretty comfortable. It a nice place to visit with friends or family. If you're single, take a book. Its a great place to read while enjoying a good meal.

I like this place but lately the prices are getting are getting out of hand Had soup and sandwich combo

Having chicken and wild rice soup at Winchester Panera. All the vegetables are hard and not fully cooked. It is usually thick and creamy but very watery and thin today. This soup is hit or miss.

Food is overpriced for portion size. Not much meat on cheesesteak. Bagels are good tho.

All I wanted was a bagel and coffee and I had to wait for the kitchen to fix it. So now you have to put in your order at a kiosk, then wait to pick it up at the kitchen area while they make sandwiches. Person also just waiting for a muffin. Will not be frequenting - lost all personal touch and easy in and out for just grabbing a pastry/bagel and coffee.

Panera is one of my favorite place to go and enjoy a meal. I have been a customer for more than 20 years. I visited the Winchester, VA location several times a month in the past 7 years. The atmosphere was OK. The cleanliness of the place was ok and the food I ordered was not bad. But! I had several bad experiences in recent months. Poor quality communication from staff , rude responses and poorly served food and dirty tables and smelly bathroom. I will not visiting this location again..

Bread was flavorless and the salads were made ahead of time. I'm paying over $14 for a friggin salad. Make it fresh! I stood waiting for some extra salad dressing for over 5 minutes?? I know this isn't a travesty but I felt ignored. It was after 7pm! Not busy.

I don't usually eat out often, but I wanted a quick salad and remembered my favorite one here, the southwest chicken salad. I'm not sure why chicken is in the name because my salad had 4 tiny slivers of chicken and was missing the avocado. For as expensive as a salad was, I felt let down. I had to wait a long time, too. Disappointed to say the least.

This place has really gone down hill. At 10:15am, a few random bagles left and almost no bread. Tried to order an over easy bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, they were of course out of the brioche bun it should come on so I substituted for ciabatta bread and the attached image is the sad excuse for a sandwich I received. I asked the manager for a refund who was only trying to justify that the bread was larger then the brioche and that is the reason for its sad appearance. This was partially the case however the egg was particularly small, over cooked and had no yolk left. It was obvious that there was no care taken to construct this sandwich or to cook it. The restaurant itself was very dirty as were the tables and booth seats. I will no longer go to this location.

Trashiest Panera Bread I have ever been to. The place was filthy. Staff completely ignored us when we came in and did not approach to take our order. We figured out we could self order. Food was mediocre at best. They could have cared less we were there and were rude.

I had to wait so long I watched people after me get their orders first. I ordered at the kiosk and got the pick two chicken noodle soup and the bbq chicken sandwich and when i finally got my food i couldn’t eat my sandwich it was soggy and drenched in bbq it was disgusting.

This place needs a really good cleaning. It smells dirty and looks dirty. Horrible smells like rotting food. The staff are strange and unfriendly.

Ordered one pick two: Mac and cheese and broccoli and cheese soup, and a single autumn soup. I didn’t even receive the autumn soup because I was given tomato soup, they are literally different colors! I watched them while they heated it up in the microwave. I could’ve just bought it at the store 🤦🏻‍♀️ On top of that, there was barely any Mac and cheese. There was literally no one really working in there. The line was to the door and the GM was doing absolutely nothing. I use to really love this place. It’s gone way down hill. I will not be back.

I paid almost $15 for a bowl of soup & a HALF a tuna sandwich. If I’m paying all of this then I want the max. This is unfair how these places can charge so much & be so stingy.
