had there $19 special Burger plus a salad. It filled my wife and myself up just excellently prepared. Next time I'm gonna get their beer battered fish I've heard that's excellent and is getting rave reviews. It has its own special sauce to dip the fish in
This is a great local place in Windham. Not many places were open during the week in October, but we were glad that the Tap House Grille was open every night. The food was great and the service was very good. There was live music one night and karaoke another. Glad we found it!
Crab cakes were insanely good. Was pleasantly surprised. Bar was crowded on a Saturday night. Great beer selection. Bartender was ON it.
New server Stella is very chill, down to earth, and transports me back to the 90s. Food is always good classic I love this bar.
What an improvement after the renovations and new management. A solid tap house and and grill - with some unexpected menu items and some well done classics (burgers and pub food). Lots of tvs and a great place to watch a game but not an in your face sports bar. A great place a grab a beer and food after skiing Windham Mountain Resort.
If you are in Wyndham, it's a must. I was blown away by their octopus salad. Say hi to the owner, David. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Menu is awesome.
Pierogies! Kielbasa! Korean Hot Wings! Three of our favorite reasons to come to the Tap House. The menu also has typical pub fare along with these unique offerings and an extensive selection of beers. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable whether you are sitting at a table or at the bar. Friendly crowd and attentive staff make the Tap Room a must stop.
Love coming here for dinner and drinks. The staff are amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and they always have a great selection of local beers.
A tad more expensive than we expected but we always love feasting here and getting beers.
First experience with the Tap House Grille here in Windham and I’m pretty impressed. I ordered takeout and the food was excellent. Always been up here and never could get a good sushi roll or seafood like they have. I had the spider roll and the soft shell crab tempura; it was excellent. Takeout could be set up a little more off to the side as I want to limit my exposure with covid and everything but other than that, I enjoyed my experience thoroughly. I will most definitely be back.
Great menu with a lot of plant-based options. Resonable prices. My kids really enjoyed the cucumber and avocado rolls and french fries. I had the vegetable bao buns and tuna appetizer and they were both great. Nice cocktail menu and a good selection of draft beers. Service was great. Will definitely go again to try more of the menu.
Love this place so much! It’s been our go-to in Windham since it opened! The food is excellent and so are the cocktails. Can’t beat the service either! The check, Chad, came out to ask us how our food was. The burgers are incredible as well as everything else we’ve had there when we go. Our waitress suggested a wine that we are now absolutely obsessed with! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. It’s consistently good. Visit if you can!
Stopped in there tonight to have a quick bite to eat after a long and stressful week. The staff is top notch and extremely friendly. The food is the excellent. I had a steak with crab cakes and rate the meal a 10/10. If you're in the area I recommend that you stop by.
Cliff and Jessica are the best and will take great care of you. Best bar in Windham!
We went for an early lunch and had grilled chicken sandwiches with fries/onion rings and a beer. The atmosphere and service were great and the food was SO good. A little pricey but worth it 😊
Enjoyed a quiet lunch during half way through our motorcycle ride.
I had the breaded chicken wings - they were perfectly cooked, crispy and the sauce was just the right amount of spicy. My wife had a crab sandwich... we thought it was gonna be small, but it was huge!! Cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It came with perfectly cooked fries that I think had some garlic in them because we noticed a nice little kick. We couldn't finish them! Be sure to stop by if you're in the mood for good food and attentive staff!!
First time! Ordered the steak and ribs to go because I was on my way home from work and didn't feel like cooking. They were very accommodating due to it was not yet 4. Because I had to reheat when I got home I asked for the steak to be rare and the ribs to not be hot. The mashed were delicious and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Asparagus was crisp and all reheated perfectly without losing any quality. It was a great experience and the bartender was more than accommodating. Will definitely go there for a sit down!
The staff that works there is impeccable. I go there quite often my cheeseburger. It's one of the best on the mountaintop.
Went with family during my visit from Texas! Great place & highly recommended!
The beers were OK (not a great selection of IPA) but the burger was a hit. Three men at the table and all three agreed it may be the best burger they ever had! Yes we were hungry but that didn't cause bias. It was a large size, char-grilled to perfection, with all the right toppings (red onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce) and just messy enough to need 3+ napkins. The fries tasted fresh and were too hot to even touch when they arrived at our table! What a treat when coming in from the cold. I will get this burger and fries EVERY time I am near this place and they are open!

The Vibe and Atmosphere is very chill and even cool, without trying to be cool. The beer on tap is all local NY or NorthEast brews, which is what I was hoping for. I got the Bobcat Pilsner from Adirondack Brewing and it was crisp and delicious. Loved the truffle fries, just enjoyed my book and Beer, occasionally looking up to check Football highlights and Stats from their TVs.
Great place to eat and hang out friendly atmosphere and great food
Great beer and good food. An unusual menu with sushi along with other standard bar far. One big plus is that it's open 7 days a week, unusual for the mountaintop.
Made a trip from NYC specifically to dine at Tap House Grille. It was worth every minute of the 5 hour round trip. If I could give more than 5 stars, it surely deserves it. The food is absolutely incredible, the staff is delightful and attentive, great selection of beer and wine plus an NA beer option which is great for non drinkers..Dave really knows how to make you feel welcomed and right at home. Can’t wait to come back!!
Food was excellent and drinks were perfect. Our bartender Stacey was amazing.
The food was amazing, the fries were really good. I also got the salmon avocado sushi which was very refreshing. The staff was attentive and especially kind! I’m from Brooklyn so i was impressed by the food and disposition of staff. 10/10 would recommend.
Dont know about the beer, but the house wine was very good. Lunch food was fine. Overall, a very comfortable, warm and friendly spot to eat, drink and relax.
Review of Lunch at Taphouse Grille in Windham My wife and I recently had an incredible lunch at Taphouse Grille in Windham, and it’s safe to say we’re already looking forward to our next visit! From the vibrant atmosphere to the outstanding food and drinks, everything about this meal was A+++. I ordered the hot wings, and they were an absolute home run. Perfectly crispy on the outside with tender, juicy meat inside, these wings packed just the right amount of heat. The sauce had a bold, tangy kick that lingered without overwhelming, and they were served piping hot with a side of creamy ranch that balanced the spice beautifully. Every bite was a flavor explosion, and the portion was generous enough to leave me satisfied but still craving more. My wife went for the spicy tuna poke bowl, and she couldn’t stop raving about it. The tuna was incredibly fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the spice level was spot-on—zesty without overpowering the delicate flavors of the fish. The bowl was a colorful mix of avocado, seaweed, edamame, and a perfectly seasoned rice base, all tied together with a drizzle of spicy mayo that added a creamy, fiery touch. It was as beautiful as it was delicious, and she said it’s one of the best poke bowls she’s ever had. To top it all off, we both ordered spicy margaritas, and wow, were they a game-changer! These drinks were the perfect blend of sweet, tart, and spicy, with a jalapeño kick that complemented our meals without stealing the show. The balance of tequila, lime, and spice was impeccable, and the drinks were served ice-cold with a salted rim that made every sip a delight. The service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe at Taphouse Grille was lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a memorable lunch. The food came out quickly, and every dish was presented with care. If you’re in Windham and looking for a meal that hits all the right spots, Taphouse Grille is a must-visit. We’re already planning our next trip back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend the hot wings, spicy tuna poke bowl, and those unforgettable spicy margaritas! A+++ experience all around!
We came here super late after a long hike. The staff was so nice and helpful. The jalapeño poppers, burgers, asparagus, truffle fries and drinks were just what we needed and the vibes were amazing! We’re definitely coming back!
Food was amazing! We have been up in Windham/Hunter for 20 years this is the best food Up here Clean. Friendly OPEN w/air conditioning. A must go to. Went again this weekend with my cousin from NYC-he said it was outstanding....it must be the BOMB his drink was full & dish was empty. :) thank you again a fabulous Saturday afternoon. See you in 2-3 weeks
It's my first time here. We ordered a lot of dishes but the dishes that I like is Pork buns and Tomatoes soup. My friend convinced me to order Tomatoes soup but I don't like tomatoes. She said : "it's delicious u must try" I said : "OK just try but I don't like tomatoes" 😞 After I tried the soup. I was very surprised cuz it's very delicious 😋 If u come to Catskill Mt. Don't forget to stop by Windham n try the food at Tap House Grille.
Just had a wonderful dinner at the Tap House Grille, for appetizers we had the fried green tomatoes that arrived at the table hot and crispy, delicious! My friend had the clam chowder that he said was terrific. Dinner, we had the crab cakes, portobello with spinach on a brioche bun, and a burger. The meat was fresh and tasty, the crab cakes were all crab and the portobello was really good! Craft beer , wine and a delicious sangria were the drinks of choice. Going to tell all my neighbors about this spot, best meal around, and the restaurant is beautifully done and the speakeasy behind the bookcase , awesome
Good spot to grab a late dinner. I liked my chicken tenders and fries. Breaded wings were ok.
The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was delicious. The beer selection was nice and the beyond burger was cooked perfectly. There was live music was a nice surprise.
Food was decent. Prices were high. Service was slow, maybe someone called out. Great beer selection. Atmosphere was fun and friendly. I do recommend going, and we will be going back. Wished prices were lower.
Solid bar food. You cannot go wrong with wings, nachos or a burger. I am not a huge fan of breaded wings but this in place dooes them exceptionally well.
Somewhat weird menu with American, Japanese, Mexican cuisine with an Indian special but everything was good. They made a huge table in a separate room available for us as we were 13 without a reservation.
It was a dreary, rainy day, and I just wanted comfort food. I ordered the mac and cheese and tomato soup, and my expectations weren't super high. I was surprised then, when my food was really delicious and hit the spot perfectly. I enjoyed a nice local pilsner, and hubby loved his burger. The place had a good vibe too. We'll be back to try more of the menu!
This is a fantastic bar to just go in and drink with your buddies. It's in no way a dive, but it also isn't pretentious. The service here was fantastic and we especially loved our waitress. The food came out fast! It was good.
Nice place to watch some sports and gravb a beer! Fish and chips were delish, fries were great as well, just a little short staffed.
I still cant believe I paid $17.00 for a hamburger and a salad. The hamburger was just ok at best nothing special. I dont recomend it. My wife got 6 shrimp with nothing else with it. For $10.00 are bill came to $45.00 with are 2 drinks. I had a beer and my wife had a appletini. With a 20% tip we paid $55.00. Are service was very good. But overall overpriced.
Cool apres vibes. Good service and good food. Prices are pretty high for what they’re offering. If I pay 15 for a Moscow mule, it ought to come in a copper mug, not a glass. Everything was great except the bill. Won’t be frequented by myself.
Neat bar near Windham Mtn. Service was excellent during lunch, place was clean. The chicken wings were mostly fat, not chicken which stunk. My wife got a salad with chicken and she loved it. I ordered the burger, it’s a hefty burger no doubt but incredibly salty I’m Still thirsty. Friendly staff, excellent service.
The food was good, the server was very friendly, but she was totally overworked. It appears that the kitchen staff had the same issue, the appetizers came out about 2 minutes before the entrees. Took a very long time to get anything...drinks...check... silverware....yeah, not great. I gave 3 stars because I know things are tough, but based on what "should" happen....3 was generous.
Food was pretty good and they had a great selection of craft beers. Good service too. Would give 5 stars if it weren’t so overpriced. This was priced as a fancy restaurant but had the atmosphere and quality of a sports bar.
We stopped in today on our way through Windham hoping for a quick snack and drink. The first thing I noticed when we sat at the bar was how dirty the entire bar was. There were drink ring marks everywhere I looked, as if the bar had not been wiped down for days. There was one bartender and 3 other patrons at the bar and no tables were taken, so not too busy to do a little housecleaning. We ordered two sushi rolls which were good, not the best sushi we've had but it is a brew house so it was expected. The bartender was attentive and took our order promptly and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Bathrooms were also not too clean, garbage over flowing onto the floor as if, again, not attended to all day. Not sure if I'd bother going back since the first experience was not very good.
Wanted to love it. Good ambience and nice staff. Unfortunately, the service is really slow. We waited over an hour for our burgers and were pretty underwhelmed. I would probably only stop in here for a drink.
Let’s talk about the paper plate loaded nachos… it leaves a lot of room for improvement (fake cheese/canned salsa) - will come back for trivia to see if that’s an improvement or for sports!
Last year went to taphouse had a softshell crab, and it was amazing today had the same dish and it was awful, maybe the oil wasn’t hot enough, but the softshell crab was saturated in oil, even the wings were not good not sure if they have a new chef, but I was very disappointed, service however, was amazing. Hope they could fix whatever issues they’re having a kitchen otherwise I may not go back again.😢
This is a great place to grab some beers after hitting the slopes. We came here to watch the game and they had the perfect amount of TVs and seating area. The draft beers were good and they have a selection to choose from. We wanted a snack since we were going elsewhere for dinner and ordered the nachos. They were okay, they used the nacho cheese sauce which I’m not too much a fan of.
Drinks were OK. The one bartender seemed nice. The rest of the ladies seemed to have some bad attitude problem. When I tried to order food I was told to ask the "waitress ". When I couldn't spot who she was, the bartender told me she was" the one with the blanket, half asleep." I decided it might be best to let her wake up first. After waiting over an hour while she slept, woke up, had a bloody mary and got a back massage from one of the patrons we decided to eat somewhere else...... Kind of interesting
Visitor Trap. Steak prices for hamburger meals. Absolutely everything was over cooked and over priced. Not many options to choose from in the area that will provide good quality meals for the price with the exception of Babblers at the Wylder which was on par. I should have known better when I saw sushi on the menu at what is essentially a dive bar.
It was busy when we arrived, emptied out and picked back up again in the time we sat there. We waited for four sandwiches for over an hour and a half and the wait staff did not ask if we’d like a refresh on our drinks, our waitress had disappeared. The table next to us ordered ten minutes before us, ate, and left long before we got our food. We almost left but instead we ordered a free round from the bar. Our waitress showed up and said, “I know you’re upset” (no apology, she must have heard from the other staff who had helped us) and took 10% off our bill. Food was good but not worth the hour and fifty minute wait. I didn’t anticipate being in the restaurant for over two hours.
Food was not amazing at all… me and my family are not picky eaters at all! But the food was just not good :( Like when you love eating food and it’s kind of heart breaking lol Fish and chips were super oily 🙂 The crab sandwich was like a over friend crab 🙂 And the water tasted so weird and WE ALL DRINK AND LOVE WATER! The waiter was super nice tho! But I’m not just paying for the service but the whole experience and that includes FOOD!!! I will not go back there 😔😔😔😔
Drinks were strong but the wings were pretty terrible. A bit over priced for the area but it’s okay. Sushi was not being served due to being short staffed which was disappointing but understandable in these times. We asked the bartender questions about the food and establishment and she acted like we were bothering her.
Service was good. Food was decent. Prices were very high. $21 for a brisket sandwich which was supposed to come with fries and Mac and cheese. I asked to substitute a side salad and was charged $7. Steaks were $44 and $50. NYC prices in Windham.
Went with my 7yo son on a busy afternoon. We ordered, and 45 minutes later it turned out they lost our order. One of the items we had originally ordered (veggie bao buns) was no longer available. They prepared the other two items, and got one of them wrong. Crab sandwich was good though. Granted it was a busy time, but as this is their business I’d expect better service. We ended up getting takeout at a nearby diner. Not going back to the Tap House Grille.
Not fantastic and very expensive. We had the polish sausage and dumplings and the fish and chips. The table was so dark that when the food turned up it was hard to see what was fish and what were chips. The fish and chips had been over cooked and tasted sour. I made my way through half of it but it wasn’t great. The polish plate also tasted like it had been fried in old oil and tasted sour but was much better than the fish and chips. The service felt rushed and quite honestly unwelcoming. It just felt like it needed to be open rather than a welcoming pub. The layout is good with screens and felt new. Better attention needs to be paid to the food and service.
Super slow service, forgot quite a few items and had to chase down the servers for attention.
Definitely overpriced for what they offer. Nachos were quite disappointing. Other food was fine, but expensive. Multiple other restaurants a minute walk away, wish we’d picked one of them.
Came here because of the decent reviews (how does this place have 4+ stars?!)— and left feeling disappointed and honestly insulted. Unfortunately the warm atmosphere and delicious drinks could not save the experience we had here. The dishes we ordered were straight from a can; not fresh at all (except for the garnish), and tasted exactly like a boxed kit we get from the supermarket. This would’ve maybe been acceptable had the dishes been cheap and the restaurant were a hole-in-the-wall type place. But no, this restaurant gives the illusion of being high end (given its atmosphere and prices) while serving low-end, premade boxed and frozen garbage. We spent 30+ dollars each on low-quality food we could have made at home for a fraction of the cost (and with twice the flavor). This meal was supposed to be special, and I feel heartbroken that the one time we can afford to eat out in a restaurant this month turned out this way. I’m not trying to be dramatic. I’m just shocked and feel very disrespected…and I don’t think it’s excessive to say that customers deserve to get what they pay for!!
Food was OK at best. $22 for a burger that came well done when requested Medium Rare. Waited for over an hour for apps. Owner came out with paper plates and no apology. Our waitress was nice and apologetic. We were 5 people with 2 apps for the table and 2 drinks each. 3 of 5 were beers. $330 with tip. We gave a 20%+ tip cuz our waitress was good and apologetic. NEVER AGAIN!!! At the least the owner could’ve come out and apologized NOTHING!!!
Prices were very high and the food was just okay. The baby back ribs were very fatty (for $32.00) and the soft shell crab sandwich basically fell apart making it difficult to eat and the flavor was nothing to brag about. The waitress was friendly but was in such a hurry (it wasn't that busy) and when we had questions about the menu she didn't really know. We looked over the menu for a few minutes and was going to order spaghetti but they were out, that would have been nice to know before looking over the menu.Overall big disappointment, I have had much better food for more fair prices.
Service was terrible. Given it a few tries because I know some people/places just have their off nights but every time the service is so slow! It’s very frustrating waiting a half hour for food to come out after ordering then waiting another half hour after finishing dinner just to get a check! Whether they’ve been busy or slow the service takes forever. The atmosphere is cute and the food is mediocre. More worth while just going to any other place on the strip or even the market up the road.
My wife and I got food poisoning from eating here. We think it was the hummus because our friends who did not have it were fine. Other items we ordered were pretty good - Chicken wings, veggie bau bun, cauliflower.
Extremely disappointed with the sushi yellow tail, very fishy, shrimp tempura was rolled in rice crispy and lacked flavor, pork buns lacked flavor hoison sauce should have been provided as well as fermented pickles to balance out pork, fish /chips was awful, too fishy, cod should have a clean taste. Bacon burger was dry. Simple food items and the chef failed. You expect excellence in this day of age of inflation. This was a miss, great disappointment.
Expensive for the type of extremely casual environment. Food was ok. Nothing special. My son paid $17 for chicken fingers that were 2 wedges of frozen heated up chicken. Should have been fresh hand battered for the price. My husband did like his fish though.
I walked in at 8pm to grab a bite. A few locals around the bar but pretty empty. The waitress ignores me but i assume she doesnt see me. She goes back to get food. .for her and preceeds to eat it across from me. I look at her and another customer looks at her to prompt her and she gives me the middle finger. Im shocked. She does it again when I ask are you working... she comes over, doesnt say a word and gives me the finger again...i say are u kidding and walk out b4 i get heated... needless to say Im black and she was an overworght, pinke haired, tatted white 30 yr old woman...Windham has been good to me until now...
I have never written review before, this is my first review of any restaurant because I am extremely upset. If I could give this restaurant a 0 star I would. I went there on 12/28/2024 around 6:30 pm. We were a group of four but we never received our food so I can’t rate the food but service was terrible! We ordered 3 fish and chips and wings. We only saw our server once, she took the order and disappeared, after waiting almost an at our table, we found her and asked her if our food was coming out soon and she kept saying “I don’t know” we asked her if she could check on the food, she disappeared for another 10 minutes. It didn’t seem like she was interested in us at all and kept ignoring us. Few moments later, another group of people walked in and we saw our server telling the group that the kitchen was backed up and there was a long wait. Upon hearing that we asked her again if she was able to check on our food as it’s been an hour since we ordered food. She rudely replied that it hasn’t been an hour yet and she checked the time, then she informs us that it will take another 40 minutes for our food. 1 hour 40 minutes for some fish and chips??!!!! We told her we couldn’t wait that long and she said she would have to check with her manager. She came back moments later and told us our food was voided and we could leave, no apologies or nothing. I completely understand busy nights and backed up kitchen on a weekend but what upsets me was the customer service of this place and attitude from the server. We came back from a long day of skiing and hadn’t eaten anything all day. The restaurant could’ve informed us of the kitchen was backed up so we wouldn’t waste our time sitting on our table for an hour. Please do better on training your servers customer service and having a friendly attitude and maybe not take tables if you know you’re backed up and waste peoples time!
I called them to simply ask if they offered Gluten Free options and they said yes. I’m proceeded to ask what options they had. The person on the phone paused and said, "I have a full bar and a full restaurant, you'll need to go online." If I had success on their website I wouldn't have called in the first place. The decision to NOT go to the Taphouse was sealed after my phone call.
Mid quality food for a steep price. Ended up paying around $65 per person for a drink, shared appetizers, and main course per person. Mandatory 20% service fee for groups of over 5. We were given a stack of plastic cups and a pitcher of water to serve ourselves with. For a service fee like that I’d expect to at least have the water poured at the very least. Upwards of $350 for 6 people at a restaurant like this is wild.
When there at 6:30ish pm on 12/28. We Order very quick because we knew what we wanted. 3 fish and chips and an order of wings. We been waiting until 7:20 for the food. Served wasn’t around the whole time to give us updates. She keeps ignoring us because I could tell that she is busy. We were very respectfully and my sister asked it’s been almost an hour, any updates on the food? The waitress replied very rudely “it hasn’t been an hour I checked the timing”. We were shocked of her replied. Then I asked her politely,” how long it’s gonna take?” She replied I don’t know I’ll check. And come backs after another 10 mins saying we are very busy and it’ll take 40 mins. At this point we were extremely hungry and asked her we have to leave because I ordered pizza for our little cousins and the store closing soon. The waitress goes back to talk to manager and comes back telling us we are good to go she void the order. Never said we apologize and never even communicated the food is gonna take over an hour when we seat at the restaurant. She had a very bad attitude and it seemed like she doesn’t wanted us to be there. We come to restaurant to have good time with family but if the server doesn’t even know how to host guests whom just asked about the updates for food and that triggered her maybe restaurant needs start to a quality check on their servers. We were seating on the left side of the restaurant right next to the big window table. If she was nice and sweet about it, we would have pay for the food for take out go pick up the pizza and come back take the food to go. Businesses could be under staff for many reasons and it’s understandable but her attitude was out of the world and many customers do feel that but most likely customers being polite because they just wanna have good time with their friends and family.
We went for dinner and were seated without a long wait. We ordered drinks. I ordered Tito’s with “a lot” of lime juice and indicated about 2 inches & seltzer. I could not taste any lime juice. We then ordered 4 meals and 1 appetizer: 1 empanada. We received the empanada which was fair at best. Then we waited close to an hour for our meals. Our children received their meals: 1 spicy tuna roll and a spicy tuna poke bowl after an hour and the waitress apologized for the wait. We said it wasn’t a problem as we assumed our meals were coming out next. Our children had finished their meals and we still had not received ours. Have had enough of sitting there hungry, we flagged down the waitress and asked for our bill stating we were only paying for the meals and drinks we received. She asked us, “what didn’t you get?” The waitress had no idea what we ordered nor did she realize looking at 2 adults without anything in front of them, that they hadn’t received any food. Considering we ordered what were probably the easier of the four meals, chicken fingers and a arugula salad, it was amazing we never received our food. Extremely poor service for food that was fair at best. We will never return here, not that they care because they didn’t care about their poor service. Next time we will drive the longer distance to eat near Hunter Mountain since they have more options.
This was a let down. Cheap, frozen food. The nachos had “cheese” sauce instead of real cheese and the empanadas tasted like frozen empanadas that were thrown into a toaster oven and burned. I’d expect this quality from a movie theater, not a sit down restaurant charging as much as they do for entrees. There’s also a mandatory 20% gratuity for a table of 5 or more which is a bit over the top.
Absolutely abysmal. This restaurant -if you can even call it that- is an affront to dining. There was no one to seat us and it took about 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. The menu included the most basic everyday items but expanded ever so slightly to a random assortment of cultured food. When we had received our order we were greated by paper dishes and sub-par (even that is too generous) food which starkly contrasted the beautiful almost high end dining atmosphere. Everything sold for $20 - $30 and could have easily been prepared for cheaper at home. Especially so, considering they very obviously used food kits that anyone can buy in their local walmart. To pass off cheap frozen foods and boxed meal kits as fine dining worthy of $20+ is quite absurd and quite frankly an insult to the intelligence of the people of Windham. The only and I mean ONLY redeeming factors about this place are the atmosphere and the people who were unfortunate enough to fall victim to working for such a fraudulent establishment. With that being said, if you LOVE atmosphere and nothing else then come on down! However, if you actually value your money and your tastebuds and hope to enjoy a meal that is more than boxed, frozen and processed crap then steer as far away from this place as possible. The drinks were ok though, I guess.
I almost never leave reviews but this was a uniquely terrible experience. Arrived at 5:45 and was not served drinks until after 6:15. Food did not arrive until around 7:20 and when we arrived there was only a handful of people seated. In entire time we were here the server completely forgot to bring one of our drinks and did not come back a second time to ask if we needed anything. A few more call outs: $12 for kids grilled cheese and the forgot fries. $26 for a loaded crispy chicken sandwich with hard, over cooked chicken. $18 for loaded nachos with almost no cheese. We really wanted to like this place but the service was impressively bad and the food was over price and generally unimpressive.
